Abstract
一种多层制品,包括自身粘着到选自聚酰胺、PBT、含有聚偏二氟乙烯的混合物、乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物、乙烯/四氟乙烯共聚物中的热塑性塑料的官能化或硫化弹性体。一种复合管状制品,它是由粘着到隔烃层热塑性塑料的硫化弹性体外套构成的;或是由与防渗的内层相结合的硫化弹性体外套构成的。
Description
本发明涉及到一种多层制品,它包含一层被再注塑在热塑性塑料上并被硫化以便直接粘贴在热塑性塑料上的弹性体。
本发明也涉及到一种复合制品的制备方法,这种制品包含有直接与热塑性塑料结合的硫化弹性体。
在热塑性塑料对燃料或加热流体具有防渗性的情况下,为了使本发明以管子的形式应用于汽油或调节的空气,双层管子就可能足够了。而在热塑性塑料本身并不具备这种防渗性的情况下,为了同一目的,人们就需要在内部加一层或多层来确保防渗。
组装由与常用的热塑性塑料结合的硫化弹性体(合成的或天然的)制成的制品(管材或片材)的方法是基于预先涂敷粘合剂的热塑性塑料的挤塑覆盖工艺。然后,弹性体的外层在橡胶工业中常用的热空气、蒸气压、辐照下的高压釜内进行硫化。
然而,取消粘合剂的使用在工艺水平上将能实现重大的节省。
本发明的目的之一是提供一种制备如同前面所定义的复合制品而避免使用粘合剂的方法。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种当受到分离应力、优选为高于20牛顿/厘米的分离应力时其硫化弹性体外壳显示出高的剥离强度的上述定义的制品。
本发明打算解决的问题如下:
—多层制品界面粘着(特别是,在管状制品的情况,在外部弹性体层与内部热塑材料层之间的界面粘着),
—防止热塑性塑料管被硫化弹性体过热,例如在汽车零件方面的应用时。
—对于调节空气的应用来说,惯用的管子是用织物增强橡胶做的。按照新的法律,必须包括一层防氟代烃的隔离层并且这种隔离层与防渗的热塑性塑料有关。这种热塑性塑料的隔离层应该是很薄的,以于它不会改变橡胶的消声性。
—就汽油管子的应用而言,这些管子目前是用织物增强橡胶制成的。同橡胶有联系的问题是:渗透性、溶胀、有限的耐过氧化燃种性和耐各种产物提取,从上述这些问题可以看出引入一层热塑材料阻挡内层是有好处的。
当由二种不同部分(橡胶护套和热塑性塑料内衬)组成的管被固定连接时,界面粘着的好处特别是与管子的良好性能(柔软性、管子的嘎扎声减弱性和冲击强度)以及便于使用等有联系的。
与实施本发明有关的其它好处将在下面描述过程中显现。
日本专利申请书JP5—44874介绍具有表氯醇橡胶的外层以及锦纶或氟树脂的内层但使用粘合剂的管子。
在德国专利申请DE4232946号和英国专利申请GB2023626中,对覆盖橡胶的由聚酰胺(或氟聚合物)制成的管子来说,还在聚酰胺中使用粘合促进剂或粘合物。
法国专利FR2660404号描述通过在聚烯烃上直接共挤塑可硫化的弹性体生产管子;可硫化的弹性体选自腈-PVC或EPDM橡胶,但该专利既没述及硫化也没述及粘附可能性的机理。
德国专利申请DE3914011号描述一种包括聚烯烃弹性体外层(缺乏羧基或其它官能团)和热塑性塑料,例如聚酰胺内层的管子,但人们承认在两层之间使用粘合剂时更为可取,这一点在接续的德国专利申请DE4026161号中进一步被明确地描述。
适用于本发明的合成的或天然的硫化弹性体是本领域熟练技术人员所熟知的,在本发明的定义中的术语“弹性体”意指它可以由多种弹性体的混合物所组成。
这些弹性体或弹性体的混合物在100℃时显示出一种低于50%的残留压缩变形(RCS),一般在5和40%之间,更好的是低于30%。这些硫化弹性体来自于相应的可硫化的弹性体。
在这些可硫化的弹性体中,可以提及的有天然橡胶,在顺位上具有高双键含量的聚异戊二烯,苯乙烯/丁二烯共聚物基的聚合乳液,苯乙烯/丁二烯共聚物基的聚合物溶液,通过镍、钻、钛或钕的催化作用而得到的、在顺位上具有高双键含量的聚丁二烯,卤代乙烯/丙烯/二烯三元共聚物,卤代丁烯橡胶,苯乙烯/丁二烯嵌段共聚物,苯乙烯/异戊二烯嵌段共聚物,上述聚合物的卤代产物,丙烯腈/丁二烯共聚物,丙烯酸(类)弹性体,氟弹体,表氯醇弹性体和氯丁二烯。
上面提到的某些弹性体可用羧基(或酸酐基),环氧基或氨基,以公知的方式通过这些弹性体的接枝而被官能化,而在弹性体混合物的情况,例如用丙烯酸弹性体接枝而被官能化。
在上述的弹性体中间,包括在下列组中的弹性体被优选二羧化腈弹性体,丙烯酸(类)弹性体,羧化聚丁二烯,接枝的乙烯/丙烯/二烯三元共聚物,表氯醇弹性体或是这些聚合物与相同的、但未接枝的单独的或混合的弹性体,例如丁腈橡胶、氢化丁腈橡胶、聚丁二烯和乙烯/丙烯/二烯三元共聚物的混合物。
热塑性塑料可选自聚酰胺6,66,11和12并且优选聚酰胺11和12(增塑的或未增塑的)或是它们的共聚合物或这些聚酰胺与聚烯烃的掺合物,聚酯(例如聚对苯二甲酸丁二酯),乙烯/四氟乙烯(ETFE)共聚合物,含乙烯/乙烯醇单元的共聚合物和聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)或含有聚偏二氟乙烯的混合物。
在术语“聚偏二氟乙烯”中,它包括均聚物或具有至少70%重量的偏二氟乙烯的共聚物,聚偏二氟乙烯同样可以与另一种热塑性聚合物相混合,条件是在混合物中至少含有50%重量的聚偏二氟乙烯。
包含聚偏二氟乙烯混合物的一个重要例子,是在欧洲专利申请EP450994中所描述的组合物:聚甲基丙烯酸酯加上一种由PVDF和丙烯酸弹性体或甲基丙烯酸弹性体组成的添加剂。
因此本发明的主题包括一层粘附在热塑性塑料上的橡胶,但本发明还可以包括任选地通过粘合剂而被固定的一层或多层的其它层;因此有:带有或不带粘合剂的硫化橡胶/热塑性塑料/其它层,例如:PA12/粘合剂/PA6/EVOH/PA6或PA12/粘合剂/PVDE/PA12/PBT/PA12。
本发明对管子的装套特别有用,这些管子具有作为外层的上面所列举的热塑性塑料:聚酰胺及其掺合物,聚酯,等等之一种。
本发明的另一主题是提供一种制备上述复合制品的方法,其特征在于在适当的温度下用一种包括任选地含有羧官能基(或羧酸酐)、环氧或氨官能基的合成或天然的弹性体,交联体系和任选的各种助剂与填料的弹性组合物再注塑热塑性塑料,并硫化所得到的弹性组合物层。
硫化温度相对于与弹性体相接触的所述的热塑性塑料的维卡软化点,优选为在-5℃~+30℃之间。
弹性组合物及其硫化动力学是这样的以致于硫化周期的持续时间不超过15分钟,以及复合制品显示出高的硫化弹性体层的剥离强度(最好超过20牛顿/厘米)。
在额定应力期间为了防止分离,考虑到应用的愿望,形成复合材料的热塑性塑料和硫化弹性体一般是以足够强烈的方式结合的。于是,在本文中,术语“分离”意指对材料施加大大地高于该材料正常受到的力。
抗分离性是通过对沿母点线切割的宽度小于5毫米的管子条进行剥离试验来评估的。剥离强度优选为有效地高于20牛顿/厘米。
在羧化不饱和弹性体的情况中,由双键和羧基发生橡胶的硫化,因此应该避免将这些更具活性的羧基全都消耗在交联上,因为为了与热塑性塑料粘合在一起需要羧基。这就是为什么必须小心控制硫化时间以便有充分长的早期硫化时间并从而使仍然游离的羧基有时间与热塑性塑料反应的原因。
根据本方法的另一种可选择的形式,使用弹性组合物对热塑性塑料层的再注塑是在温度为50℃~120℃,使用护套式模头(即,直角模头)的热塑性塑料挤出机中进行的。未硫化的制品尽可能在被切割后被放置在常用的橡胶硫化罐(特别是使用热空气、水蒸汽、红外线、等等的橡胶硫化罐)内进行硫化,硫化温度相对于弹性体相接触的所述的热塑性塑料的维卡软化点在-5℃~+30℃之间。
根据本方法的再一种可选择的形式,制品是在挤塑热塑性塑料的同时通过共挤塑弹性体得到的。在这种情况下,在共挤塑过程中形成粘合而硫化操作可以在线进行或以后处理方式进行。
生产这些复合材料所使用的硫化体系对于同行们都是很熟悉的,因此,本发明并不局限于任何一种特定类型的体系。只要硫化体系符合在前面所指出的本发明规定中所规定的有关硫化动力学的标准就行。
当弹性体是基于不饱和单体(丁二烯、异戊二烯、亚乙烯基降冰片烯)时,可以列举四种类型的硫化体系:
—由与常用的促进剂例如二硫化氨基甲酸金属盐(二甲基二硫化氨基甲酸锌、碲、等等)、秋兰姆二硫化物(秋兰姆四甲基二硫化物等等)、硫酰胺等等一起使用的硫组成的硫体系。
这些体系还可以包含与硬脂酸一起使用的氧化锌。
—硫黄给与体体系,在该体系中用于桥连的绝大部分硫是由上述的含硫分子例如有机硫化合物产生的。
—含酚醛树脂体系,它是由与促进剂例如二氯化锡或氧化锌一起使用的、可被卤化的双官能苯酚-甲醛树脂组成的。
—过氧化物体系。它们能够使产品具有白色,受热更稳定,如同在硫黄的给与体体系的情况一样。任何的游离基给与体(过氧化二枯基,等等)可与氧化锌和硬脂酸一起使用。
当弹性体是丙烯酸类弹性体(具有酸官能基或环氧官能基或有可能交联的任何其它所用的反应官能基)时,所用的有效交联剂是基于二胺(原甲苯胺基胍、二苯胍等等)或封闭的二胺(己二胺氨基甲酸盐等等)的交联剂。
当弹性体是表氯醇橡胶(均聚物,共聚物或三聚物)时,使用基于二元胺的交联剂(2-硫基味唑啉、三嗪,等等)。
组合物为了某些特殊的性质(例如机械性能的改善)可以通过添加如碳黑、硅石、高岭土、粘土、滑石、白垩等填料而对弹性组合物进行改性。这些填料可以在表面上用硅烷、聚乙二醇或任何其它偶联分子进行处理。一般说来,填料的重量份数比对于每100份弹性体为5和100份之间。
弹性组合物还可以使用增塑剂例如石油衍生的矿物油,苯二甲酸酯或癸二酸酯,液体聚合物增塑剂例如随意地羧化的低分子量的聚丁二烯和本领域熟练人员熟知的其他增塑剂而使其柔软。
为了实施本方法所使用的硫化剂混合物是这样的,按照动力学它们应该使弹性体能够完全交联达到抗分离的良好性能,正如在本发明的定义中提到的那样,通常达到良好的橡胶性能(以在100℃下的残留压缩变形、拉伸机械性能等等来测定)。
在硫化罐中硫化温度范围在130℃至190℃之间将更有利。
借助振动流变仪测定的动力学有利地应是这样的以致于90%硫化的特征时间,t90,在160℃下不超过15分钟,而在5和10分钟之间将更有利。
此外,现已发现相应于提高0.2牛顿·米的力矩的硫化开始时间(或固化时间)对于获得显示良好性能的材料是一个重要因素。因此,在模塑温度下,在超过或等于4分钟的时间内达到上述力偶的提高是有利的,而在4到6分钟之间更好。
实施例
管子对汽油的渗透性是通过静态法在23℃用含有15%甲醇的燃料油C测定的(静态法)。
实施例1,比较例
在密闭式混合机中生产包括以重量份数计的下列各组分的组合物:

将此混合物在弹性体挤塑机上被挤出成为6/10毫米直径管,然后在160℃硫化10分钟。
这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性是850克/米2×24小时;当将此管状制品弯折和回复到它开始的形状时,发现在管状制品上没有留下明显的痕迹。
实施例2,比较例
制得直径为6/8毫米的PA12Rilsan AESNTL的挤塑管。这种管子对汽油的渗透性对每毫米壁厚为80克/米2×24小时。当人们将这种管状制品弯折到某一曲率半径以下时,就产生一种嘎扎响声的现象以及在管子上留下折痕。
实施例3
在弹性体装套装置上处理实施例2的管子,在90℃将实例1的组合物穿过护套模头挤塑套装在上述的管子上。然后将管状制品切断,在6毫米的金属杆上滑移,并被放置在170℃的烘箱里历时20分钟。装套以后,它的横截面大小是6/10毫米,这种管子对汽油的渗透性是80克/米2×24小时(静态值)。这种管状制品能
够被弯折到曲率半径远远低于实施例2的管子而不残留任何褶痕。
实施例4,比较例
制造直径为6/8毫米的PA11Rilsan BESNTL的挤塑管。该管子的渗透性是40克/米2×24小时。当人们将该管子弯曲到低于某一曲率半径时,产生一种嘎扎响声现象以及在管子留下折痕。
实施例5
在弹性体装套装置上处理实例4的管子,在90℃将实例1的组合物穿过护套模头挤塑套装在上述的管子上。然后将管状制品切断,在6毫米的金属杆上滑动,并被放置在180℃的烘箱里历时20分钟。装套以后,它的横截面大小是6/10毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性是40克/米2× 24小时。这种管状制品能被弯折到曲率半径远远低于实例4的管子而不残留任何褶痕。
实施例6
在包含按重量份计的以下组分的密闭式混合机中制备出组合物:
Hydrin 2000(表氯醇与环氧乙烷的共聚物,R.M.由ZeonChemicals提供) 100
硬脂酸 1
FEF N550炭黑 30
Extrusil(由法国DEGUSSA提供的硅石) 20
MgO 3
CaCO3 5
将此组合物在辊炼机上与一份Zisnet F(三嗪,由ZeonChemical提供)混合。
此外,制造直径为6/8毫米的PA12 Rilsan AESNTL和Adheflon○(其组成为90%TPU/10%PVDE,以下被称为DHP1)的共挤塑管,该管具有0.2毫米的DHP1层。这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性为80克/米2×24小时。当将该管弯曲到某一曲率半径以下时,产生一种响声并且管子留有痕迹。
在弹性体装套装置上处理上述管子,在90℃将以上给定的Hydrin基的组合物穿通过护套模头挤塑管装在管子上。然后切断管状制品,在6毫米的金属杆上滑移并被置放到170℃的烘箱中历时20分钟。装套以后其横截面大小是6/10毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性是80克/米2×24小时。这种管状制品能被折弯到曲率半径远远低于双层Rilsan12/DHP1管而不残留任何褶痕。
实施例7
制造直径为6/8毫米的PA11Rilsan BESNTL烽Adheflon(其组成为35%的以PARALOID EXL 4151由Rohm和Haas销售的PMMA/30%的PVDF/35%的具有丁二烯-苯乙烯芯的芯/壳型丙烯酸弹性体,由Rohm和Haas以商品名EXL3361销售,在后文中被称为DHP2)的共挤塑管,该管具有0.2毫米的DHP2外层。这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性是40克/米2×24小时。当这种管子被弯折到小于某一曲率半径时,会产生嘎扎响声现象并且管子上留在痕迹。
在弹性体装套装置上处理上述管子,将实施例6中所确定的Hydrin基组合物在90℃穿过护套模头挤塑在管子上。然后切断管状制品,在直径为6毫米的金属杆上滑移并被放置在170℃的烘箱中保持20分钟。在装套以后,它的横截面大小是6/10毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性为40克/米2×24小时。这种管状物品能被折弯到曲率半径远远低于Rilsan11/DHP2双层管子而不残留任何褶痕。
实施例8
制造直径为6/7毫米的PVDF和Adheflon(DHP2)共挤塑管,该管具有0.2毫米的DHP2外层。这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性为10克/米2×24小时。
在弹性体装套装置上处理上述管子,在90℃将在实施例6中所确定的Hydrin基组合物穿过护套模头挤塑在管子上。然后切断管状制品,在直径为6毫米的金属杆上滑移并被放置在170℃的烘箱里保持20小时。装套以后,它的横截面大小是6/8毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性为10克/米2×24小时。
实施例9
制造直径为6/8毫米、具有0.2毫米的DHP1外层的PA11Rilsan BESNTL和Adheflon(DHP1)的共挤塑管。这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性是40克/米2×24小时。当将这种管子弯折到小于某一曲率半径时,产生嘎扎响声现象并在管子上留下痕迹。
在弹性体装套装置上处理上述管子,在90℃将在实施例1中确定的XNBR羧化丁腈橡胶基组合物穿过护套模头挤塑在管子上。然后切断管状制品,在6毫米直径的金属杆上滑移并被放置到温度为160℃的烘箱里保持20分钟。装套以后它的横截面直径大小是6/10毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性是40克/米2×24小时。这种管状制品能被弯折到曲率半径远远小于Rilsan11/DHP1双层管子而不残留任何褶痕。
实施例10
制造直径为6/8毫米的PVDF1000HD,Adheflon(DHP2),PA12Rilsan AESNTL和另一层Adheflon DHP2的多层共挤塑管子,其内层为0.15毫米的PVDF,中间层为0.15毫米的DHP2和外层为0.15毫米的DHP2。这种管状制品对汽油的渗透性是10克/米2×24小时。
在弹性体装套装置上处理上述管子,将在实施例6中确定的以Hydrin基的组合物在90℃穿过护套模头挤塑在管子上。然后切断管状制品,在6毫米直径的金属杆上滑移并被放置到温度为160℃的烘箱里保持20分钟。装套以后它的横截面直径大小是6/10毫米。这种管子对汽油的渗透性为10克/米2×24小时。
Claims (8)
1.一种多层制品,包括一层被再注塑在选自聚酰胺、PBT、含有聚偏二氟乙烯的混合物、乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物、乙烯/四氟乙烯共聚物中的热塑性塑料上的弹性体,弹性体是由其本身而附着到热塑性塑料的。
2.权利要求1的多层制品,其特征在于弹性体是表氯醇弹性体或是用羧基环氧基或氨基官能化的弹性体。
3.权利要求1或2的多层制品,其特征在于含有聚偏二氟乙烯的混合物还包含聚甲基丙烯酸酯和弹性体。
4.用于制备权利要求1的多层制品的方法,其特征在于热塑性塑料是通过在适当温度下挤塑一层包括含羧官能基、环氧官能基或氨官能基的合成的或天然的弹性体,表氯醇弹性体或弹性体与交联体系的混合物的弹性体层而被再注塑,其特征还在于弹性体组合物层是被硫化的。
5.用于制备权利要求1的多层制品的方法,其特征在于热塑性塑料与含交联体系的弹性体一起被共挤塑,以及弹性体组合物层是被硫化的。
6.权利要求4或5的方法,其特征在于硫化可以在再注塑过程中或以后进行。
7.一种复合管状制品,它是根据权利要求1由直接与热塑性塑料相结合的硫化弹性体外套构成的。
8.权利要求7的制品,其特征在于热塑性塑料管的内表面可以涂覆一层防渗或保护用的内层,所说的内层特别对液体诸如燃料油或加热流体具有隔离性。
