Description

本发明涉及一种用片材包裹物包装产品的方法和装置。本发明的开发对可能用来包装下列产品给予了格外的注意,例如,食品,尤其是糖果。在这种应用领域中,产品(如球形果仁糖、空心或充填有巧克力的蛋形物等)通常是用片材,如铝箔包裹的。
例如,欧洲专利EP-B-082952公开了一种用铝箔片包裹近似球形的果仁糖的方法。为此目的,放在铝箔片上的产品通过一个带有弹性片的结构物,以便在铝箔片由于包裹着产品呈现出一个大致为杯状构形之后,当杯状物从弹性结构出现时,箔片在产品的后部封闭起来,象一个捆束或尾巴。然后,箔片将由此形成的捆束或尾巴翻转在产品上,使产品完全包裹在铝箔片内。
用一种稍稍不同的方法获得同样结果的解决方案公开在德国专利DE-A-3243500中。
上面提到的公开在现有资料中的解决方案产生了极佳的效果,尤其是在获得的最终产品的外观方面。产品通常是插入一个带有褶折壁的纸杯内,而将包裹物翻在产品上的部分朝下,靠在纸杯的底部。因此,产品的上部由围绕着其匀称包裹的片材保护着。
本申请人发现,这些先有的已知方案还应进一步改良,尤其是在与外界大气相隔绝方面。
根据这一观点,用贴合的片材包裹物,如铝箔来包装食品(例如巧克力或以糖为主的食品)是众所周知的(例如,德国实用新型DE1784647U),这种贴合包裹物是由两个互补的铝箔产生的,每块铝箔精密地模仿成产品的各半形状。然后,将如此产生的片状包裹物的两块箔边沿着产品的一条中纬线互连,例如,使用现有的热熔材料涂在相互连接的表面上,通过热封技术,使它们互相连接,同时去除伸出密封区域的多余铝箔部分。
然而,这种方法不适合用在上述领域,特别是当包裹的产品准备插入一个纸杯的情况。事实上,沿着中纬线的密封是可见的,使产品的整体外观具有自动化包装的工业产品的外观特征。另一方面,对于工业产品,尤其是在糖果领域,希望保留手工或半手工产品的典型特征,因此,在可见位置,不应显示密封线,该密封线标志着机器的介入。
本发明的目的是提出一种用片材包裹物包装产品的方法和装置,其组合地保留了上述方案中的优点,而且克服了上面所述的缺点。
根据本发明,达致上述目的的用片材包裹物包装产品的方法包括下列步骤:
准备第一和第二包装片材;
将第一包装片材加工成与产品形状大致互补的形状,其条件是一旦第一包装片材被成形,它将覆盖住产品的大部分;
将产品插入在第一成形片内;
将第二包装片材放在产品未被第一片材遮住的部分上,使第二片材呈现一个与产品相应部分相互补的形状;
将第一和第二包装片材连接在一起,以形成一个实际上围绕着产品密封的包裹物;和
进一步使第一包装片材围绕着产品成形,使第一包装片材从外部完全将第二包装片材遮住。
本发明还涉及实现上述方法的装置,该装置包括:
将第一片材加工成与产品形状大致互补的形状的成形装置,其条件是一旦第一片材被成形,它就覆盖住产品的大部分;
连接第二片材的连接装置,第二片材放在未被装有产品的第一片材覆盖的产品的部分上,由此形成一个完全围绕着产品密封的包裹物;和
用于围绕着产品进一步成形第一片材的成型装置,以便使第一片材完全从外部将第二片材遮住。
下面通过例举非限定的例子并参照附图对本发明详细说明如下:

在例举的实施例中,待包装的产品是由一般的球形果仁糖P构成的。例如,可以是由外面涂敷巧克力(例如榛子巧克力)或类似涂层;
填充面糊或奶油的糯米纸球形壳构成的果仁糖,涂层还可以加上磨碎的椰子,切细的榛子等等,其可使果仁糖P的整体外表呈现不平整的外观。
但是,值得强调的是,本发明可以应用于不同种类的产品和完全不同的形状。在糖果制造工业领域内,还可提及的有空心或填有巧克力的蛋,各种巧克力,平底近似球形的果仁糖,小蛋白酥皮筒等等。
根据本发明,两片铝或其它薄片材料的小片材1和2用来形成围绕产品P的贴合密封的包裹物。
选择铝箔是较好的,因为它易于贴合在产品的周围,而且还因为产品可能具有高低不平的表面。特别是,两块片材1和2打算面朝产品P的内表面最好涂上一层漆或一层热熔材料。其原因在下面予以说明。
此外,两片包裹片材1和2一般尺寸都不相同。事实上,第一片材1的尺寸一般比产品P的半个表面的展开面的尺寸(在本实施例中是半球帽形部的尺寸)大的多。图中所示的片材1通常是正方形或长方形的,其尺寸大致足够完全盖住产品P,最多使片材1相对的两端部本身没有覆盖住。另一方面,片材2可选择的尺寸大致对应或稍小于产品P的半个表面的展开面的尺寸,在例举的实施例中,该半部表面也是由一个半球形的帽状部形成的。

在产品P包装中的第一个步骤是将片材1加工(或许通过拉)成一个一般为盘或杯的形状。该步骤通常是借助于一个工具进行的,该工具包括一个形成一腔室3a的模具3,腔室3a内可进入一个冲头4。对于这种成形工具生产的几种可能的标准的一般说明可参考上述的德国申请DE-A-3243500。腔室3a和工具4的工作部分具有互补的表面,以便在腔室3a和工具4之间夹紧片材1使其成形。尤其是在模具3腔室3a的下部(参见图2)其形状完全与准备用片材1包裹的产品P的半部形状互补。
但是,腔室3a(和对应的拉伸工具4)的深度一般比只是以与产品P的各个半部完全互补方式使片材1成形所需的深度更深。这种情况显示在图2中,图中显示了相对于腔室3a的产品P的假想中纬面Pe的位置。从图中可以看到,中纬面Pe没有与腔室3a的口部平面完全对齐,而是中纬面Pe更深入模具3之内一段距离处,图2中这段距离以d表示。
距离d的大小,在球形产品P的直径约为25-30毫米大小的情况下,例如,可以是8-10毫米。
腔室3a和冲头4所采用的形状的作用是使铝片材1加工成大致为锅形或杯形,以便它可以容纳产品P,如图3所示。在该图中,可以假设杯形片材1仍留在拉伸模具3内时,产品P已被引入杯形片材1内。当然,这种选择也不是唯一的。在片材1已加工成杯形之后,也可将其从模具3中取出放到另一个模具中,或放到另一个支撑片材1用于插入产品P的腔室结构中。
无论采用哪一种选择,值得注意的是,一旦产品P放入杯形片材1内,它就被紧密地包裹,而且超过中纬面Pe之上。
换句话说,当片材1已成形时,除了用于容纳产品P的半球形底部帽形部的半球形底部之外,它还包括用于盖住(虽然不是紧密贴合)产品P的上半球形帽形部的颈部1a。当然,还有一个值得注意的是,所涉及的半球形帽形部是针对大致球形果仁糖构成的产品P的例子而言的。但是,如果涉及蛋形、椭圆形或不规则曲线形的帽形部,而不是球形帽形部,则适用以相同的方式是作同样的考虑。
就方位来说,片材1可以说是相对于产品P的“垂直”轴线(该术语意指垂直于中纬面Pe的一条轴线)盖在产品P长度的约2/3和3/4之间。
然后在这种状态下(即,在图3所示的状态下),将另一片材2盖在产品P上。
一般,片材2只是简单地放在从腔室3a的口部稍微向上伸出的产品P的上部。
由于产品P伸出口部的部分很小(指“垂直”高度),所以,片材2至少可大致地保留在要求的位置上而无需预先成形,从而可呈现一种与产品P从腔室3a伸出的部分完全互补的形状。
也可与上述不同,片材2只是在下一个步骤中才成形,即,当片材1和2沿腔室3a的口部轮廓贴合在一起就位并通过工具6的运作连接(可能还进行修剪作业)在一起时成形。
关于这一方面还应注意到,虽然图4中显示的仅是一个单独的工具6,但上述两个步骤(连接和修剪)也可用两种不同的工具在两个连续的步骤中完成。
两块片材1和2的连接保证了围绕着产品P形成的片状包裹与外界密封,由此防止了产品与空气接触和可能产生的变质。这种连接可以用下列几种方法完成:单纯的机械连接(例如,局部折迭);施加胶合材料胶合;甚至(根据一个最佳实施方案)可以用热封法,而热封法最好是在片材1和2的内表面涂上热熔涂料,通过将其熔化的直接加热,或超声振动场而连接。
例如,热封法可用目前使用的热封工具将涂有热熔材料的铝箔施加在装有液体或糊状食品(如酸奶酪或类似食品)的杯形容器的口部来完成。
已连接在一起的边缘可以用图4中所示的空心冲切工具6进行修整,切去沿着腔室3a的口部周线(本实施例中产品P是球形的,因此是一个圆)向外延伸的边缘。
较为有利的是,修整工具6可以形成为例如一种声纳极(Sonotrode),以利用超声阵面来完成连接工作,同时进行修整。类似的作法是,通过加热切割工具,使涂于铝箔上的热熔材料局部熔化而使连接与修整作业同时进行。
可以理解,在任何情况下,首先作用在片材1,2共同边缘上的工具(典型地是焊接工具)可以同时将从腔室3a伸出的产品P的帽形上部周围的上部片材2进行最终的加工及成形。因此通过一个有效的成形操作(即,在图2所示的步骤中在片材1上进行的操作),就可围绕产品P形成一个完全密封和贴合的包裹层;而片材2的成形不是作为一个专门的成形操作的结果来达到的,而只是在片材2与片材1的连接过程中完成的。因此,根据本发明的方法,节省了在现有技术方法中通常进行包裹层加工的一个局部成形操作。
此外,就用片材1构成产品P的包裹层而言,第一片材1成形较深,超过了中纬面Pe这一事实,使第二片材2的尺寸可以减小很多,由此,总体上节省了包装材料。
此外,在必须防止由片材1和2围绕产品P连接形成的包装在产品P的外壁和密封包裹的内壁之间保留明显数量的空气方面,发现上述方案是极佳的,众所周知,空气可能引起产品的某种变质,或可能会产生最后包装的凸起。
当片材1和2的连接和修整工作完成时(图4),包在沿它们的周边连接的片材1和2内的产品P被引入一个基本类似于欧洲专利EP-B-0082952中所述的工具10中。为此目的,将产品P从片材1和2连接用的腔室中取出(在这里,假设这个腔室相当于片材1初始成形的腔室3a,但这一选择肯定并不重要)并放入工具10的上部开孔11中,使片材1保持面朝下。
正如在上述的欧洲专利中所述的那样,工具10主要包括一个含有孔11的支撑结构(在例举的实施例中,假设孔是一个含有垂直轴线的圆孔),从该孔向下伸出多个弹性的舌片12,例如,金属舌片,这些舌片被弹性加载,以便在没有外力的情况下,它们朝着孔11的垂直轴线集中在大体一致的位置,类似于洋蓟的外部叶子。
装在片材1和2内(片材1朝下)的产品P在插件13的作用下从上垂直向下通过孔11。弹性舌片12由于产品的通过而张开、然后在产品通过之后再次合起来,从而使片材1贴合在与片材1相对的半部上(如图5所示的下半部分位置上)。由此,片材1在从工具10出来的产品P的后面形成一个捆束或尾巴,这样,片材1将片材2围在其内,如图5中的点划线所示。
特别值得一提的是,当舌片12在下降产品P的后面弹性闭合时(该方法的详细说明和实现该功能的依据见欧洲专利EP-B-0082952的说明书),它们将片材1连同位于产品P后面的片材1内的片材2一起闭合,由此形成一簇片材,这些片可以翻折贴合在产品P上,如图6中的翻折区域14所示。片材的翻折(部分由贴合在产品P上的片材2形成,部分由片材1形成,片材1又折叠在片材2上)是用一个翻折工具15完成的,该工具15绕着插件13安装,以便轴向滑动,其下端有一个完全与产品上部形状配合的帽形腔15a。关于如何控制插件13和翻折工具15的运动的说明可再次参考上面数次提到的欧洲专利说明书。
当片状包裹层的翻折工作完成之后,产品P可以放在一个带折皱壁的纸杯16中,如图7所示。值得注意的是,在该位置从杯16的外面只能看见片材1。该片材不仅盖住了产品的一半,而且实际上盖住了整个产品P,并将片材2包围在其内。而片材2从外部是看不见的,靠在纸杯16的底壁上的翻折区域14也是看不见的。
此外,片材1和2连接在一起的密封线从外部也是看不见的。
因此,在产品装入与外界大气隔绝保持持久密封的包裹壳内的同时,保持了其要求的最终外观,且从外部看不见密封线。

Claims (28)

1、一种用片材包裹物包装产品(P)的方法,其特征在于它包括下列步骤:
准备第一和第二包装片材(1、2);
将第一包装片材加工成与产品(P)形状大致互补的形状,其条件是一旦第一包装片材(1)被成形,它就覆盖住产品(P)的大部分上;
将产品(P)插入在第一成形片材(1)内;
将第二包装片材(2)放在产品(P)未被第一片材(1)盖住的部分上,以便第二片材(2)呈现一个与产品相应部分相互补的形状;
将第一和第二片材(1、2)连接在一起,以形成一个实际上围绕着产品(P)密封的包裹物;和
进一步围绕着产品(P)成形第一片材(1),使第一片材(1)从外部完全将第二片材(2)遮住。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:第一片材(1)具有显著地大于第二片材(2)的尺寸。
3、如权利要求1所述的方法,其中每一产品都有一中纬面Pe,该中纬面理论上将产品(P)分成两部分,每一部分分别面向第一、第二片材,其特征在于:第一片材(1)被加工成形使其可从产品的半部分伸出超出中纬面(Pe)一段距离(d)。
4、如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于:当第一片材(1)已被成形时,它盖住装在其内的产品(P)的部分在垂直于中纬面Pe的轴线上为产品(P)长度的三分之二到四分之三之间。
5、如权利要求1至4中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:第一片材(1)在模具(3)和冲头(4)之间成形。
6、如权利要求1或5所述的方法,其特征在于:第一片材(1)是通过拉伸操作成形的。
7、如权利要求1至6中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:将第二片材(2)放在产品(P)上基本上不用预先加工。
8、如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于第一和第二片材(1、2)可选用下列任一种方法密封地连接在一起:
机械成形,
从外部施加材料胶合,
热封,
超声波密封。
9、如权利要求1或8所述的方法,其特征在于:第一和第二片材(1、2)在它们准备连接在一起的面上涂有一层热熔材料。
10、如权利要求1至9中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于它包括去除第一和第二片材(1、2)伸出连接区域外的部分的步骤。
11、如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于:去除步骤与第一和第二片材(1、2)连接在一起的步骤同时进行。
12、如权利要求1至11中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:第一和第二片材(1、2)是金属材料,最好是铝。
13、如权利要求1至12中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于:进一步的成形步骤是将装在连接在一起的第一和第二片材(1、2)内的产品(P)通过一个可径向收缩结构构成的孔(11)完成的,因而在产品(P)的后面形成一个捆束或尾巴。
14、如权利要求13所述的方法,其特征在于:它还包括将捆束或尾巴靠在产品(P)上翻折的步骤。
15、一种实现权利要求1所述方法的装置,其特征在于它包括:
将第一片材(1)加工成与产品形状大致互补的形状的成形装置(3、4),其条件是一旦第一片材(1)被成形,它就覆盖住产品(P)的大部分;
连接第二片材(2)的连接装置(6),第二片材放在未被装有产品(P)的第一片材(1)覆盖的产品P的部分上,由此形成一个完全围绕着产品密封的包裹物;以及
用于围绕着产品进一步成形第一材片(1)的成形装置(10),以便使第一片材(1)完全从外部将第二片材(2)遮住。
16、如权利要求15所述的装置,其特征在于:第一片材(1)实际上具有大于第二片材(2)的尺寸。
17、如权利要求15所述的装置,其中每一产品具有一中纬面Pe,其将产品(P)在理论上分成两部分,每一部分分别面向第一、第二片材(1、2)其特征在于:成形装置(3,4)的结构是如此构成的,使得第一片材(1)被加工成从产品的半部分伸出超出中纬面(Pe)一段距离(d)的形状。
18、如权利要求17所述的装置,其特征在于:成形装置(3,4)的结构使第一片材(1)成形时,它盖住装在其内的产品P的距离相对垂直于中纬面(Pe)的轴线在产品(P)长度的三分之二到四分之三之间。
19、如权利要求15至18中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于成形装置包括一个模具(3)和一个冲头(4)。
20、如权利要求15或19所述的装置,其特征在于成形装置(3,4)是一个拉伸工具。
21、如权利要求15至20中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于成形装置(3,4)完全只作用在第一片材(1)上。
22、如权利要求15至21中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于连接装置(6)可选下列任一种:
机械成形装置,
从外部施加材料予以胶合的装置,
热封装置;
超声波密封装置。
23、如权利要求15或22所述的装置,其特征在于:第一和第二片材(1、2)在它们准备连接在一起的面上涂有一层热熔材料。
24、如权利要求15至23中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于它包括去除第一和第二片材(1、2)伸出连接区域的部分(在两个不同步骤中产生的)的装置(6a)。
25、如权利要求24所述的装置,其特征在于:连接装置(6)的结构可以去除第一和第二片材(1、2)伸出连接区域外的部分。
26、如权利要求15至25任一项所述的装置,其特征在于:第一和第二片材(1、2)是金属材料,最好是铝。
27、如权利要求15至26中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于它还包括另一成形装置(10),该成形装置有一个由径向可收缩结构(12)形成的孔(11),包装在连接在一起的第一和第二片材(1、2)内的产品(10)穿过该孔,以使通过收缩结构(12)的产品后面形成一个捆束或尾巴。
28、如权利要求27所述的装置,其特征在于它还包括用于将捆束或尾巴翻折在产品(P)上的翻折装置(16)。
