Abstract
本文涉及二氧化钛颜料,它是使可水解的钛化合物在0-100℃温度范围内通过剧烈搅拌。和调节pH为3-8并保持pH变化在0.3个单位以内的条件下。完全水解而制得。二氧化钛颜料可用于制备化妆品制剂和药剂。
Description
本发明涉及二氧化钛颜料,它是将一种可水解的钛化合物在0-100℃下通过剧烈搅拌和调节pH值为3-8并保持pH变化在0.3个单位以内的条件下使之完全水解而制得。
本发明还涉及一种用生理上容许的并能降低二氧化钛光效应的无机化合物涂覆的二氧化钛;此种无涂覆和有涂覆的二氧化钛颜料的制备方法及其在化妆品与医药方面的应用;含有这种无涂覆和有涂覆的二氧化钛颜料的化妆品制剂和基本无水的分散体以及制备这类分散体的方法。
二氧化钛颜料用于化妆品特别是防晒剂相当常见。例如可见于Roempp化学词典(Roempp化工百科全书第9版,Thieme出版社,Stuttgart/New York,1992,第4630页)。
防晒剂一般指能保护皮肤免受太阳光特别是紫外线(UV)辐射的有害作用的组合物。紫外辐射按照其生物效应可分为UV-A(波长400-320nm),UV-B(320-280nm)和UV-C(280-200nm)(Roempp,a.a.o.,4804页)。防晒剂一方面使能晒黑皮肤的UV-A完全通过,另一方面又能阻挡会使皮肤受损的UV-B,而UV-C的绝大部分被大气层吸收(Roempp,a.a.o.,4213页)。
用作防晒剂的二氧化钛颜料的制备方法众所周知。例如可见于GB-A 2206339。
为此,首先用浓硫酸分解钛铁矿(FeTiO3),再将分解后的块状物溶于水中,并用化学法使三价铁还原为二价铁。经结晶和过滤后,将溶液在真空下浓缩,再加热水解使二氧化钛沉淀。然后用氢氧化钠中和溶液,过滤出二氧化钛并用水洗涤。
将二氧化钛湿磨后,如果需要,就可用无机化合物涂覆。所得产物在110℃下烘干。
借助于分散剂和高速球磨机,颜料就可悬浮于多种溶剂中。
这种颜料虽然适合作防晒剂,但与要求的对UV-B的吸收相比,它对UV-A的吸收过高。同时,在可见光范围内的透光性亦较差。
本项发明就是以此为依据,用技术简单和经济的方法制备二氧化钛颜料。这种颜料与要求的对UV-B的吸收相比,对UV-A的吸收低。同时在可见光范围内有高的透光性。
据此,发现了开头所定义的二氧化钛颜料。
这种二氧化钛颜料可通过可水解的钛化合物的完全水解制得。适用的可水解的钛化合物是有机化合物例如络合物,如乙酰丙酮酯氧钛和亚酞酰二氯,钛酸脂如甲醇钛盐,乙醇钛盐,丙醇钛盐,异丙醇钛盐,丁醇钛盐与甲酚钛盐,以及有机钛盐如硬酯酰钛盐和草酸钛盐,最好是无机化合物,如硫酸氧钛,氟化钛,溴化钛,碘化钛,尤其是四氯化钛或这些化合物的混合物。所有这些化合物都是常见的。
按照本发明,水解过程中pH应维持3-8,特别是3-5。pH用玻璃电极测量。按照本发明,水解反应期间pH值的变化最高和最低应在0.3个pH单位内摆动,最好在0.2个pH单位内。
反应混合物所要求的pH值可通过加酸,碱或缓冲方法来达到并使其保持在此发明所要求的范围内。
适用的碱液如氢氧化钠与氨水溶液或碱性盐溶液如碳酸钠与碳酸钾。适用的酸溶液特别是无机酸如盐酸和硫酸。
单独用水或用可与水相混的液体稀释剂与水的混合物进行水解是有利的。适用的液体稀释剂包括水溶性醇如乙醇与甲醇和水溶性醚特别是环状醚,如四氢呋喃和二氧杂环己烷。
水解反应一般在0-100℃温度范围内进行,最好为10-30℃。反应时需剧烈搅拌,反应时间为1-25小时。
接着,在二氧化钛颜料上涂覆另外的无机化合物。如果经涂覆的二氧化钛颜料作为药用或用于化妆品,则适用的化合物尤其应为生理上容许的并能降低二氧化钛光效应的无机化合物,如铝、硼、硅、锌、铁、锆和铈的含水氧化物或磷酸盐,碱金属或碱土金属的硼酸盐以及这类化合物的混合物,这些化合物可用常见的方法如沉淀法涂覆。其量应为颜料总重的0.1-50%。
为了去除二氧化钛颜料制备过程中产生的副产物,最好采用熟知的净化步骤。例如,过滤和其后的洗涤。
涂覆或无涂覆的二氧化钛颜料可采用常见的方法,如过滤、烘干使其从含水悬浊体中分离,或最好是制备和使用在开始所提到的基本无水的分散体。
按照本发明所制备的二氧化钛颜料用作化妆品时其突出优点在于平均粒径(原始微粒)为3-8nm,甚至可达3-5nm,以及比表面积为200-400m2/g,优选为250-350m2/g,比表面积按DIN 66132标准采用Haul和Dubgen的单点差分法用Strohlein面积测定仪(StroehleinDusseldorf)测定,用电子衍射测定表明二氧化钛颜料能以非晶形或基本上由锐钛矿组成的结晶形存在。
为了制备含有二氧化钛颜料的分散体,将颜料或含水悬浊体与非水稀释剂混合,必要时混有添加剂。
适用的非水稀释剂包括油特别是生理上可接受的油,例如脂肪醇,脂肪酸如油酸,脂肪酸酯如异丙基棕榈酸盐,异丙基硬酯酸盐,异丙基月桂酸盐与异丙基肉豆蔻酸盐,植物油如葵花油,西蒙得油,花生油,杏仁油,鳄梨油,昆士兰果油,玉米胚油和蓖麻油,矿物油如液态煤油,苯甲酸酯,尤其是C12-C15-烷基苯盐以及低聚甘油酯如辛酸三甘油酯。
适用的添加剂主要是分散助剂,如中性或酸性磷酸酯或其盐类,例如二鲸蜡精-10-磷酸酯,三鲸蜡精-4-磷酸盐,三月桂精-4-磷酸盐,伯、仲、叔、季胺化合物,例如十六烷基二甲基-2-羟乙基胺二氢磷酸盐,聚丙烯酸盐,碳酸与羟基羰甲酸及其盐、酯特别是含有山梨糖醇或丙三醇的脂,例如多元乙烯基-20-山梨糖醇脂肪酸酯,金属醇盐,链烷醇胺和硅氧烷。
为了制备分散体,如果使用含水悬浊液时,可用常见的方法如蒸馏进一步降低分散体中的水份。这样就能得到基本不合水特别是油状的分散体。
这类分散体在化妆品调剂和药剂中尤为重要。
为此,可用熟知的方法向分散体中另外添加物质,特别是稳定剂如脂肪酸的镁盐和铝盐,络合剂如二胺四醋酸盐(EDTA),抗氧化剂如α-维生素E和护肤的生物活性物质如泛噻吩,甜没药萜醇,α-维生素E,α-维生素E与泛噻酚,乙酸盐,芦荟藜芦藻提取物和二十五烷酸。
根据本发明,二氧化钛颜料、分散体、化妆品调剂与药剂的特征为相对于UV-B吸收相比,UV-A吸收率低以及在可见光范围透光度高。以在UV-A或可见光范围内的消光系数与UV-B范围内的消光系数比值表示。
消光系数用以下的公式表示:

在三个不同波长范围内,用UV-VIS光谱仪(HP8452,Hawlett-packard公司产品)分别对以下三个波长进行测定:
可见光:400nm
UV-A: 380nm
UV-B: 308nm此处,与UV-A-和可见光范围相比,高的UV-B吸收用比值ε(308)/ε(380)和ε(308)/ε(400)来度量。
实施例1
在20℃,剧烈搅拌下,将380g四氯化钛和1000ml氢氧化钠溶液(NaOH含量320g/l)在60分钟内同步加入到3800g的pH为3的水中,继续搅拌30分钟。继而在剧烈搅拌下加入浓度为25%(重量)的氢氧化钠溶液将pH调至8,然后再搅拌30分钟。
过滤后,滤饼用9l水洗涤。
在100℃/20mbar下烘干的二氧化钛颜料其平均粒径为5nm,比表面积为253m2/g。
向83.7g十六烷基二甲基-2-羟乙基胺二氢磷酸盐和195.3g水配成的溶液加入461g滤饼,滤饼中二氧化钛含量为21.1%(重量),剧烈搅拌30分钟,加入400g辛酸三甘油酯,随后在80℃/40-50mbar下将水蒸馏出来。
表1所列的消光系数是将试样用辛酸三甘油酯稀释至固体含量为50mg/l时的测量值。
实施例2
在20℃,剧烈搅拌下将760g四氯化钛和2000ml氢氧化钠溶液(NaOH含量320g/l)在120分钟内同步加入到3800g的pH为3的水中,在100℃下继续搅拌90分钟。在20℃下,边剧烈搅拌边加入浓度为25%(重量)的氢氧化钠溶液将pH调至8,然后在20℃下再搅拌30分钟。
过滤后,滤饼用9l水洗涤。
在100℃/20mbar下烘干的二氧化钛颜料其平均粒径为5nm,比表面积为286m2/g。
向35.3g十六烷基二甲基-2-羟乙基胺二氢磷酸盐和82.3g水配成的溶液中加入333.2g滤饼,滤饼中二氧化钛的含量为25.6%(重量),剧烈搅拌30分钟,加入233g辛酸三甘油酯,随后在80℃/40-50mbar下将水蒸馏出来。
表1所列的消光系数是试样按实施例1稀释后测得的。例3
在20℃,剧烈搅拌下将380g四氯化钛和1000ml氢氧化钠溶液(NaOH含量320g/l)在90分钟内同步加入到3800g的pH为5的水中,继续搅拌30分钟。边剧烈搅拌,在15分钟内边加入180mlAl2(SO4)3·18H2O(含量666.4g/l)水溶液。此过程中,加入40ml的氢氧化钠溶液(NaOH含量320g/l)以保持pH值为5。再用浓度为25%(重量)的氢氧化钠溶液调节pH至8,然后再搅拌30分钟。
过滤后,滤饼用11 l水冲洗。
在100℃/20mbar下烘干的二氧化钛颜料的平均粒径为5nm,比表面积为296m2/g。
将97.1g Hostaphat KL 340N(Hoechst AG公司产品)和246g辛酸三甘油酯加入到1000g滤饼中,滤饼中固体含量为16.4%(重量),固体中78.4%(重量)为二氧化钛,剧烈搅拌8小时后,在70℃/40-50mbar下将水蒸馏出来。
表1所列的消光系数是试样按实施例1稀释后测得的。表1

Claims (7)
1.一种以选自铝、硼、硅、锌、铁、锆和铈的含水氧化物或磷酸盐,碱金属或碱土金属的硼酸盐以及这类化合物的混合物的无机化合物涂覆的二氧化钛颜料,其无机化合物用量占颜料总量的0.1-50%(重量),该二氧化钛颜料可通过将一种选自硫酸氧钛、氟化钛、溴化钛、碘化钛,尤其是四氯化钛或这些化合物的混合物的钛化合物在0-100℃温度下剧烈搅拌和调节pH值在3-8的范围内并保持pH值的变化在0.3个单位以内的条件下使其完全水解,然后将该无机化合物沉积到其表面上而制备。
2.一种如权利要求1的二氧化钛颜料的制备方法,其特征在于将权利要求1中所述的钛化合物在0-100℃温度下,通过剧烈搅拌和调节pH值在3-8的范围内并保持pH值的变化在0.3个单位以内的条件下使其完全水解,然后将权利要求1所述的无机化合物沉积到其表面上。
3.权利要求1的二氧化钛颜料在化妆品方面的应用。
4.权利要求3所述的应用,其中为用于人体和动物体外表。
5.一种含有权利要求1的二氧化钛颜料的基本上不含水的分散体。
6.权利要求1的二氧化钛颜料在药物方面的应用。
7.权利要求6所述的应用,其中所述药物为治疗皮肤烧伤或阳光过敏症的药物。
