Description

压敏粘合剂制品及加强车辆构件的方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种压敏粘合剂制品,尤其是涉及这种制品:其包含压敏粘合剂聚合物与细小无机颗粒以及在压敏粘合剂聚合物中的纤维片。本发明还涉及用压敏粘合剂制品加强车辆构件的方法。
背景技术
近年来,车辆外部构件(例如缓冲器)和通过注塑形成的内部构件需要为减重目的进行减薄。另一方面,强度也是车辆构件所必需的,因此重要的是实现减薄并确保强度。然而,利用注塑,如果在模具设计或模塑之后检测到车辆构件的强度不足,必须修正模具自身,并且这耗费劳动力和时间。
另一方面,为了加强缓冲器,利用由合成聚合物泡沫制成的吸能材料的缓冲器加强结构是已知的(例如,参见日本未审查的专利申请H08-164805)。
发明内容
可配置利用合成聚合物泡沫吸能材料的缓冲器加强结构,使得仅为外部部件的缓冲器和安装在车辆内侧上的加强构件通过经由吸能材料的互相作用减少缓冲器的变形,但是存在设计限制诸如两个构件的结构和布置,并且简单的加强可能是不可能的。因此,期望一种能够便利地加强车辆构件自身的方法。
在一个实施方案中,本发明提供了压敏粘合剂制品,其包括:压敏粘合剂层,该压敏粘合剂层包含丙烯酸类压敏聚合物和细小无机颗粒;以及纤维片,该纤维片由布置在压敏粘合剂层中的多个相互交叉的纤维形成。
在另一个实施方案中,本发明提供了使用压敏粘合剂制品的方法,该方法包括:将压敏制品粘附于车辆构件以加强车辆构件的步骤;其中该压敏粘合剂制品包含:丙烯酸类压敏聚合物和细小无机颗粒;以及纤维片,该纤维片由布置在压敏粘合剂层中的多个相互交叉的纤维形成。
本发明可提供压敏粘合剂制品以及能够便利地加强粘附体诸如车辆构件等的方法。此外,压敏粘合剂制品可具有优异的耐热性,并且因此可表现出有利的粘附性,即使为一种粘附体的车辆构件由于例如车辆运行而达到高温依然如此。

图1是示出压敏粘合剂制品的实施方案的透视图。图2是图1的压敏粘合剂制品的剖视图。如图1和2所示,压敏粘合剂制品1包含压敏粘合剂层2和布置在压敏粘合剂层2中的纤维片3。
从优异的耐热性的角度来看,压敏粘合剂层2包含丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物。本文的“压敏粘合剂”是指在适用温度下(优选地在20℃至22℃下测量),以10弧度/秒测量的储能弹性模量(G')小于3×105帕斯卡(达尔奎斯特标准(Dahlquist standard))。此外,“聚合物”符合根据国际纯粹与应用化学联合会(International Union of Pure and AppliedChemistry,IUPAC)聚合物命名委员会(Polymer Nomenclature Committee)(http://main.spsj.or.jp/c19/iupac/Recommendations/glossary36.html)的“聚合物”定义。
丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物可为例如通过使第一单体和第二单体聚合而获得的聚合物,第一单体包含至少一种类型的非叔醇(甲基)丙烯酸酯,该非叔醇带有4至20个碳原子的烷基基团,第二单体可与第一单体共聚。然而,第二单体是不同于第一单体的单体。本文的“(甲基)丙烯酸”是指丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸类(也称为甲基丙烯酸),并且相似的化合物也具有相同含义。
第一单体可为当均聚时提供具有小于0℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚合物的单体。本文的玻璃化转变温度是指在动态粘弹性测量期间(优选地频率为1.0Hz,并且升温速率为5℃/分钟),在Tanδ的峰位置的温度(在下文中相同)。第一单体可为非叔烷基醇的单官能(甲基)丙烯酸酯,该非叔烷基醇优选地具有4至20个碳原子,并且更优选地4至18个碳原子的烷基基团。第一单体的优选示例包括丙烯酸正丁酯、丙烯酸正己酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸异壬酯、丙烯酸正癸酯、丙烯酸正十二烷基酯、丙烯酸十八烷基酯、以及它们的混合物。
第二单体可为当均聚时提供具有超过0℃的玻璃化转变温度的聚合物的单体。第二单体的优选示例包括(甲基)丙烯酸、N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮、N-乙烯基己内酰胺、N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺、以及其它被取代的(甲基)丙烯酰胺、丙烯腈、丙烯酸异冰片酯、在烷基基团中具有1至3个碳原子的醇的丙烯酸酯、羧乙基丙烯酸酯、以及它们的混合物。作为第二单体,N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺和丙烯酸异冰片酯是优选的。如果碱性单体诸如被取代的(甲基)丙烯酰胺等用作第二单体,优选地使用弱碱性叔胺化合物等。
从在低温下的初始粘合力和在高温下的静态剪切强度之间的平衡角度来看,第一单体与第二单体的质量比(第一单体/第二单体)优选地为50至100/0至50。
例如基于压敏粘合剂层2的总量,丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物的量可为50质量%或更高,70质量%或更高,或者90质量%或更高。
从能够适当加强粘附体的角度来看,压敏粘合剂层2还包含细小无机颗粒。细小无机颗粒可为例如细小二氧化硅颗粒或细小矿物质颗粒。细小无机颗粒可为细小实心颗粒或细小中空颗粒。
从加强压敏粘合剂制品功效的角度来看,细小无机颗粒优选地包含第一细小无机颗粒,所述第一细小无机颗粒的粒度优选地为1至500μm,更优选地为5至300μm,甚至更优选地为10至100μm(中值直径,在下文中相同)。
从加强压敏粘合剂制品功效的角度来看,第一细小无机颗粒的量优选地为0.1至20质量份,更优选地1至18质量份,甚至更优选地3至15质量份。
从能够适当加强粘附体并确保第一细小无机颗粒在压敏粘合剂层2中的分散性的角度来看,细小无机颗粒优选地还包括粒度为1至100nm的第二细小无机颗粒。在这种情况下,第一细小无机颗粒与第二细小无机颗粒的质量比(第一细小无机颗粒/第二细小无机颗粒)可为例如50/50至100/0。
第一细小无机颗粒的优选示例包括由3M公司制造的K15和由松本油脂有限公司(Matsumoto Yushi Co.,Ltd.)制造的Microsphere M-600。第二细小无机颗粒的优选示例包括由日本出光兴产有限公司(Nippon Aerosil Co.,Ltd.)制造的A-200和R-972。
压敏粘合剂层2还可包含氯化聚烯烃。在这种情况下,即使压敏粘合剂制品1不具有底漆层,在由聚烯烃等形成的粘附体上表现出有利的粘合力。氯化聚烯烃是其中氯原子被加成到s聚烯烃的碳原子上的化合物。氯化聚烯烃的示例包括其中丙烯共聚物和α-烯烃诸如乙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-庚烯、1-辛烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯等被氯化的化合物。氯化聚烯烃也可为其中前述共聚物被α,β-不饱和羧酸进一步接枝聚合的化合物,该不饱和羧酸诸如马来酸、马来酸酐、富马酸、柠康酸、柠康酸酐、中康酸、衣康酸、衣康酸酐、乌头酸、乌头酸酐、纳迪克酸酐等,并且随后这种共聚物被氯化。
从与丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物相容性的角度来看,氯化聚烯烃的熔融热量优选地为0至5J/g,更优选地为0至3J/g,并且甚至更优选地为0至2J/g。需注意,“熔融热量”是指通过差示扫描量热法(DSC),根据JIS K7121-1987测得的熔融热量。具体地,为了消除热历史,在氮气气氛中,当温度以10℃/分钟的速度从23℃升至180℃,以10℃/分钟的速度从180℃降至-100℃,并且以10℃/分钟的速度从-100℃升至180℃时,测量熔融热量。
从由聚烯烃等形成的粘附体上的粘合力的角度来看,在氯化聚烯烃中的氯量优选地为16至25质量%,更优选地为17至24质量%,并且甚至更优选地为17至23质量%。需注意,在氯化聚烯烃中的氯量可通过例如氧瓶燃烧法(根据JIS K 7229-1995)进行测量。
氯化聚烯烃可使用如日本未审查的专利申请2004-217807所述的方法制造。例如,对于丙烯和α-烯烃的共聚物,可通过适当调节丙烯与α-烯烃的比率以及添加的氯的量来调节前述熔融热量和氯含量。氯化聚烯烃例如以商品名Superchlon 930S和Superchlon3221S由日本制纸有限公司(Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd.)制造。
从由聚烯烃等形成的粘附体上的粘合力的角度来看,相对于100质量份的丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物,氯化聚烯烃的量优选地为0.05至5.0质量份,更优选地为0.1至3.0质量份,并且甚至更优选地为0.1至1.0质量份。
压敏粘合剂层2还可包含增粘剂。增粘剂的示例包括烃树脂、萜烯酚树脂、松香树脂、松香酯树脂、它们的氢化物等等。可用增粘剂的优选示例包括由日本的伊士曼化学(Eastman Chemical Japan)制造的RegalrezTM1085、RegalrezTM1094、RegalrezTM6108、和GegalrezTM3102,由荒川化学工业有限公司(Arakawa Chemical Industries,Ltd.)制造的Arkon P-140等等。如果压敏粘合剂层2包含氯化聚烯烃,则压敏粘合剂层2优选地还包含增粘剂。
相对于100质量份的丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物,增粘剂的量优选地为10质量份或更少,并且更优选地为5质量份或更少。当增粘剂的量在这一范围内时,当与氯化聚烯烃一起使用时可确保氯化聚烯烃的相容性,并且可获得有利的粘合力。相对于例如100质量份的丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂聚合物,增粘剂的量可为0.5质量份或更高。
除前述组分之外,压敏粘合剂层2还可包含在压敏粘合剂中使用的常规已知的添加剂等,诸如聚合引发剂、交联剂、增塑剂、填料、抗老化剂、紫外线吸收剂、颜料等等。
压敏粘合剂层2的厚度(包括纤维片3的厚度)可为例如50至300μm,70至1000μm,100至600μm,或200至400μm。
纤维片3由多个相互交叉的纤维3a形成。具体地,在纤维片3中,多个纤维3a在以两个或更多个方向取向或随机取向的条件下相互交叉,并且在交点处,纤维3a通过缠结、熔合、或粘附中的至少一种进行粘结。纤维片3可为例如织造材料、针织材料、或非织造材料。本文提及的织造材料/针织材料是多轴织造材料/针织材料诸如双轴织造材料/针织材料、三轴织造材料/针织材料等,其中多个纤维以两个或更多个方向取向。在如图1和2所示的压敏粘合剂制品1中,纤维片3是双轴织造材料,其中多个纤维3a在以两个方向(基本上垂直的方向)取向的条件下相互交织。
纤维3a可为单丝或复丝。纤维3a可由例如玻璃、碳、或树脂形成,并且从拉伸弹性的角度来看,优选地由玻璃形成。纤维3a的厚度可为例如10至100特克斯,20至90特克斯,或40至80特克斯。
从能够适当加强粘附体的角度来看,纤维片3优选地为双轴织造材料或三轴织造材料,并且更优选地为双轴织造材料或三轴织造材料,其中纤维3a通过熔合或粘附密封。双轴织造材料或三轴织造材料的织造方法可为例如平织、斜纹织、缎纹织造、纱罗织造、或仿纱罗织造。
纤维片3的厚度可为例如10至2000μm,20至1000μm,30至500μm,50至400μm,或100至300μm。此外,从能够适当加强粘附体的角度来看,在纤维片3中纤维3a的密度优选地为10至100个纤维/25mm,更优选地20至80个纤维/25mm,甚至更优选地25至70个纤维/25mm。此外,纤维片的拉伸强度优选地为500至2500N/25mm,更优选地为750至2500N/25mm,甚至更优选地为1000至2500N/25mm。
由尤尼吉可有限公司(Unitika Ltd.)制造的H201MC107F和H201MC126是纤维片3的优选示例。
纤维片3在压敏粘合剂层2中提供。换句话讲,压敏粘合剂层2存在于纤维片3的两个主表面上,并且纤维片3的两个主表面均未暴露。此外,如图2所示,在形成纤维片3的多个纤维3a之间的间隙填充有压敏粘合剂,其形成压敏粘合剂层2。
纤维片3的主表面与压敏粘合剂层2的两个主表面之间的至少一个厚度(最短距离)优选地为100μm或更小,更优选地为80μm或更小,并且甚至更优选地为50μm或更小。在这种情况下,粘附体可通过将粘附体粘附到压敏粘合剂层2的主表面上而得到适当加强,其中纤维片3的主表面间的最短距离具有前述预定的值或更小的值。
图3是示出压敏粘合剂制品的另一个实施方案的剖视图。如图3所示,压敏粘合剂制品11还可提供在压敏粘合剂层2的一个表面侧上的基底4。基底4的厚度可为例如1至1000μm,5至500μm,或10至100μm。
基底4可为例如膜、包含泡沫材料的片、非织造材料等。膜可为例如聚乙烯膜、聚丙烯膜、聚酯膜、聚碳酸酯膜、聚氯乙烯膜、聚偏二氯乙烯膜、聚苯乙烯膜、聚酰胺膜等。包含泡沫材料的片可为例如丙烯酸泡沫材料片、聚乙烯泡沫材料片、氯丁二烯泡沫材料片、氨基甲酸酯泡沫材料片等。包含泡沫材料的片可为其中片本身具有压敏粘附性的片。可购买丙烯酸泡沫胶带(由3M日本有限公司(3M Japan Limited)制造的RT8016)等作为所述片。非织造材料可为由耐热纤维形成的非织造材料,该耐热纤维诸如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)和其它聚酯、高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯、和其它聚烯烃、尼龙、聚乙烯醇、聚丙烯腈、棉、亚麻布、和其它纤维素浆料天然纤维、人造丝、耐热合成纤维、聚酰胺纤维、玻璃纤维等等。
压敏粘合剂制品11通过将压敏粘合剂层2的在同基底4相反侧上的主表面粘附至粘附体来使用。从能够适当加强粘附体的角度来看,纤维片3的主表面与压敏粘合剂层2的在同基底4相反侧上的主表面之间的厚度(最短距离)T1优选地为100μm或更小,更优选地为80μm或更小,并且甚至更优选地为50μm或更小。厚度T1可为例如10μm或更大,20μm或更大,或者30μm或更大。
纤维片3的主表面与压敏粘合剂层2的在基底4侧上的主表面之间的厚度(最短距离)T2在一个实施方案中可为10至300μm,并且在另一个实施方案中可为20至100μm。
压敏粘合剂制品11可通过例如以下方法制造。
(1)第一压敏粘合剂层通过将压敏粘合剂层涂覆在例如基底4上,并且随后通过例如辐射紫外线固化(热固)第一压敏粘合剂层而形成。
(2)将纤维片3置于第一压敏粘合剂层上。
(3)第二压敏粘合剂层通过将压敏粘合剂层涂覆在例如纤维片3上,并且通过例如辐射紫外线固化(热固)第二压敏粘合剂层而形成。从而获得压敏粘合剂制品11。
需注意,不具有基底的压敏粘合剂制品1(图1和2)通过从以例如前述方式获得的压敏制品11移除基底4而获得。
压敏粘合剂制品可具有除前述实施方案之外的形式。压敏粘合剂制品可在例如压敏粘合剂层的两个主表面上具有基底。压敏粘合剂制品可在例如压敏粘合剂层2的一个或两个表面上具有底漆层。如果压敏粘合剂制品具有基底和底漆层,压敏粘合剂制品通过以例如层合压敏粘合剂层(包括纤维片)、底漆层、和基底这一顺序而被配置。压敏粘合剂制品可在例如压敏粘合剂层的一个或两个表面上具有内衬。如果压敏粘合剂制品具有内衬和基底或底漆层,则可将内衬设置在基底或底漆层上。
上述压敏粘合剂制品适用于加强车辆构件诸如缓冲器或其它外部车辆构件、或者门饰板或其它内部车辆构件,并且当压敏粘合剂制品粘附于车辆构件时,车辆构件可得到适当加强。换句话讲,本发明的一个实施方案可认为是将压敏粘合剂制品粘附于车辆构件以加强车辆构件的一种方法。
实施例
在下文中,基于实施例更具体地描述本发明,但是本发明不局限于以下实施例。
实施例1
混合72重量份的丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯,4重量份的N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺,24重量份的丙烯酸异冰片酯,0.04重量份的1,6-己二醇二甲基丙烯酸酯,和0.04重量份的光聚合引发剂(Irgacure 651,日本BASF公司(BASF Japan))。用0.5mW/cm2的紫外线对所得混合物进行照射,并且当混合物的粘度达到1000cps时,完成照射。向用紫外线照射后的混合物添加1.8重量份的丙烯酸,2重量份的N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺,0.4重量份的氯化聚烯烃(supercron930S,日本制纸有限公司(Nippon Paper Industries Co.,Ltd.)),2重量份的增粘剂(Arkon P=140,荒川化学工业有限公司(Arakawa Chemical Industries,Ltd.)),光聚合引发剂(Irgacure 651),1.5重量份的细小二氧化硅颗粒(A200,日本出光兴产有限公司(Nippon Aerosil Co.,Ltd.)),以及6重量份的细小中空玻璃颗粒(K15,3M公司)并搅拌,然后冷却至23℃以获得压敏粘合剂。
接下来,通过在PET基底上提供压敏粘合剂层获得制品,该压敏粘合剂层由设置在压敏粘合剂层(厚度为38μm)中的压敏粘合剂和玻璃布(双轴织物,H201MC107F,尤尼吉可有限公司(Unitika Ltd.),厚度180μm,质量200g/m2,拉伸强度(竖直)1850N/25mm(水平)1450N/25mm)制成。
在制品的压敏粘合剂层侧上提供另一个PET膜。然后制品用0.5mW/cm2(总能量:1J)的紫外线照射以获得压敏粘合剂制品。获得制品的压敏粘合剂层的厚度为300μm。
比较例1
以与实施例1相同的方式制造压敏粘合剂制品,不同的是不使用细小二氧化硅颗粒和细小中空玻璃颗粒。
比较例2
Scotch(注册商标)长丝带编号898用作压敏粘合剂制品。需注意,长丝带通过在基底上形成橡胶压敏粘合剂层而被制备,其中聚丙烯膜通过将玻璃纤维布置在一个方向上而得到加强。
参照例1
以与实施例1相同的方式制造压敏粘合剂制品,不同的是不使用玻璃布。
参照例2
以与实施例1相同的方式制造压敏粘合剂制品,不同的是不使用细小二氧化硅颗粒、细小中空玻璃颗粒、和玻璃布。
对上述压敏粘合剂制品进行以下刚度评估测试。
刚度评估测试
如图4所示,将树脂片22(尺寸:150mm×150mm)置于接收夹具21上,该夹具带有四个立式销P(销间距离:140mm),并且将直径的推动夹具23从上方在箭头方向上以50mm/分钟的速率推动。通过测量在预定推动量(mm)下的负荷(N)来评估刚度。需注意,也在仅用树脂片22作为空白的情况下进行测量,并且当评估压敏粘合剂制品时,该压敏粘合剂制品粘结至树脂片22以进行测量。结果在表1中示出。需注意,如果负荷高,则刚度较高(换句话讲,粘附体被加强至更强)。此外,在图5中还示出空白、实施例1、和比较例1和2的结果。

此外,对实施例1和比较例2的压敏粘合剂制品进行以下耐热性评估测试。
耐热性评估测试
在室温(23℃)下将压敏粘合剂制品的压敏粘合剂层附接到聚丙烯基底上。在这时,将一个2kg的金属辊前后移动一次。由此获得的一个样本存储在以下5种条件下。
20分钟,室温:在23℃下20分钟
24小时,室温:在23℃下24小时
24小时,80℃:在80℃下24小时
2周,80℃:在80℃下2周
4周,80℃:在80℃下4周
将存储后的样本置于拉伸试验机中,以50mm/分钟的速率,在180°方向上将压敏粘合剂制品从基底上剥离,并且测量此时的剥离强度。需注意,在80℃下存储的样本在测试前冷却至室温。结果在图6中示出。

Claims (20)

1.一种压敏粘合剂制品,所述压敏粘合剂制品包括:
压敏粘合剂层,所述压敏粘合剂层包含丙烯酸类压敏聚合物和细小无机颗粒;以及
纤维片,所述纤维片由布置在所述压敏粘合剂层中的多个相互交叉的纤维形成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述压敏粘合剂层还包含氯化聚烯烃。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述细小无机颗粒包括细小中空颗粒。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述细小无机颗粒包括粒度在约1μm至约500μm范围内的第一细小无机颗粒。
5.根据权利要求4所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述第一细小无机颗粒的量在约0.1至约20质量份的范围内。
6.根据权利要求4或5所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述细小无机颗粒还包括粒度在约1nm至约100nm范围内的第二细小无机颗粒。
7.根据权利要求6所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述第一细小无机颗粒与所述第二细小无机颗粒的质量比在约50/50至约100/0的范围内。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维的厚度在约10至约100特克斯的范围内。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中带有所述纤维片的所述压敏粘合剂层的厚度在约50至约300μm的范围内。
10.根据权利要求1至9中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的厚度在约10至约2000μm的范围内。
11.根据权利要求1至10中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片中纤维的密度在约10至约100个纤维/25mm的范围内。
12.根据权利要求1至11中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的拉伸强度在约500至约2500N/25mm的范围内。
13.根据权利要求1至12中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,所述压敏粘合剂制品还包括在所述压敏粘合剂层的一个表面侧上的基底,其中所述基底的厚度在约1至约1000μm的范围内。
14.根据权利要求13所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的主表面与所述压敏粘合剂层的在同所述基底相反侧上的主表面之间的最短距离为至少约100μm。
15.根据权利要求13或14所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的主表面与所述压敏粘合剂层的在同所述基底相反侧上的主表面之间的最短距离为至少约10μm。
16.根据权利要求13至15中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的主表面与所述压敏粘合剂层的在所述基底侧上的主表面之间的最短距离在约10至约300μm的范围内。
17.根据权利要求1至12中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,其中所述纤维片的主表面与所述压敏粘合剂层的两个主表面之间的最短距离为约100μm或更小。
18.根据权利要求1至17中任一项所述的压敏粘合剂制品,所述压敏粘合剂制品被设计(例如,尺寸被设定)用于加强车辆构件。
19.一种加强车辆构件的方法,所述方法包括:
将压敏制品粘附于车辆构件以加强所述车辆构件,
其中所述压敏粘合剂制品包含:丙烯酸类压敏聚合物和细小无机颗粒;以及纤维片,所述纤维片由布置在所述压敏粘合剂层中的多个相互交叉的纤维形成。
20.一种加强车辆构件的方法,所述方法包括将根据权利要求1至18中任一项所述的压敏制品粘附于车辆构件以便加强所述车辆构件。
