Abstract

本发明涉及一种新型结构非离子型环氧活性乳化剂的制备方法及乳液制备方法,其具体步骤为:(1)在氮气氛围下向聚乙二醇(PEG1000~10000)中加入六氢苯酐(HHPA)和催化剂(对甲基苯磺酸),升温反应。(2)加入适量的三官能团稀释剂三羟甲基丙烷三缩水甘油(TMPGE),升温继续反应,得到多嵌段环氧树脂乳化剂(简称HHPA‑P‑TMPGE)。(3)将适量环氧树脂与乳化剂混合在一定温度下,设定一定流速滴加去离子水,高速搅拌至系统的黏度突然降低为止,此时系内发生相反转现象,继续加水得到水性环氧树脂乳液。本方法制备得到的水性环氧树脂乳液,具有乳液平均粒径小,离散度低,且稀释、离心和贮存性能优异等优点。为制备高性能的水性环氧乳液提供了新的思路。

Description

非离子型环氧活性乳化剂、制备方法和水性环氧树脂乳液
技术领域
本发明公开了一种非离子型环氧乳化剂制备方法。非离子型活性环氧树脂乳化剂通过酸酐与聚乙二醇或聚丙二醇反应生成羧基封端(HHPA-PEG/PPG)。与三羟甲基丙烷三缩水甘油(TMPGE)缩合即得到HHPA-PEG改性TMPGE。结合相反转技术制备粒径小而均一的环氧水乳液。
背景技术
近年来环氧树脂涂料特别是水性化环氧树脂涂料高速发展。由于环氧树脂具有优异的物理和化学性能,如良好的附着力、耐化学药品性和耐溶剂性能优异、硬度高、耐腐蚀、热稳定性优良,所以应用较为广泛。一般溶剂型环氧树脂含有有机挥发溶剂,这些有机溶剂在环氧树脂应用阶段由于挥发进入大气中,对环境造成污染,危害人类健康。与溶剂型环氧树脂相比,水性环氧树脂应用具有许多优点,比如有机挥发物含量低、气味小、使用安全、甚至不含有机溶剂、可用水清洗等,所以广泛应用性能建筑涂料,机械底漆,汽车底漆和工业维修面漆等。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是:合成一种新型结构的非离子活性环氧树脂乳化剂,乳化剂既引入亲水性羟基和柔韧性氢化苯环、聚醚链段,改善涂膜附着力及韧性有保留两个环氧活性基团改善水油两相相容性,也赋予了乳化剂反应特性,降低乳化剂游离的机会。固化交联密度高,漆膜致密抗腐蚀和二次附着力佳。
本发明是通过以下技术方案实现的:
一种非离子型环氧活性乳化剂,其结构如书式1所示:
一种如前述的非离子型环氧活性乳化剂的制备方法,其包括如下步骤:
将聚乙二醇和六氢苯酐混匀后,加入对甲基苯磺酸,在30~90℃下进行酯化反应,得到酯化反应液;
将所述酯化反应液与三羟甲基丙三缩水甘油在60~160℃下进行反应,得到所述非离子型环氧活性乳化剂。
作为优选方案,所述聚乙二醇和六氢苯酐的总重量与甲基苯磺酸的重量之比为100:(0.1~1)。
作为优选方案,所述聚乙二醇的分子量为1000~10000。
一种水性环氧树脂乳液的制备方法,其包括如下步骤:
将权利要求1中所述的非离子型环氧活性乳化剂与双酚A环氧树脂混匀后,滴加去离子水,在20~100℃下进行高速搅拌乳化,得到所述水性环氧树脂乳液。
作为优选方案,所述非离子型环氧活性乳化剂与双酚A环氧树脂的重量比为(5~20):100。
作为优选方案,所述高速搅拌的转速为300~3800rpm。
本发明的基本原理为:以三羟甲基丙三缩水甘油(TMPGE)为基体树脂,以PEG/PPG与六氢苯酐HHPA酯化反应产物为亲水链段,以TMPGE为亲油链段,通过酯化产物的中的羧基与TMPGE中的环氧基反应,制备出多嵌段双官能环氧树脂乳化剂(HHPA-P-TMPGE)。通过相反转发制备出高性能的水性环氧树脂乳液。

具体实施方式
下面结合具体实施例对本发明进行详细说明。以下实施例将有助于本领域的技术人员进一步理解本发明,但不以任何形式限制本发明。应当指出的是,对本领域的普通技术人员来说,在不脱离本发明构思的前提下,还可以做出若干变形和改进。这些都属于本发明的保护范围。
本发明方法制得的水性环氧乳液的性能测试方法:
粒径分析测试:通过激光粒径分析仪,对制备的环氧树脂的粒径大小和分散程度进行测试。
离心稳定性测试:乳化剂含量不同的环氧乳液,加水稀释为60wt%,经过3000r/nin,观察是否分层。无分层,则视为合格。
稀释稳定性:将乳化剂含量不同的环氧乳液,在不断的机械搅拌中加入蒸馏水,观察分散情况,加水量的多少决定环氧树脂的水分散性。再将上述乳液静置一段时间。观察是否出现分层或沉淀现象。
贮存稳定性:取乳化剂含量不同制备得到的乳液,静置一段时间后,观察是否出现分层或陈定现象。
实施例1本实施例涉及HHPA-P-TMPGE的合成
向500ml四口烧瓶加入180.00g(30mmol)PGE6000、9.24g(60mmol)HHPA,装上回流并在氮气氛围下,加热搅拌使原料混合均匀,0.5g(0.3wt%)对甲基苯磺酸加入上述反应液,持温90℃,每隔0.5h测试酸值,并计算酯化率。反应4h。再向体系内加入12.78g(30mmol)TMPGE在催化剂对甲基苯磺酸(无需补加催化剂)作用下,温度110℃继续反应4h,并每隔0.5h测试环氧当量,计算出环氧转化率。最终制得HHPA-P-TMPGE。
装备路线如图1和图2所示。
实施例2本实施例涉及水性环氧树脂乳液的制备
将实施例1制备得到HHPA-P-TMPGE与E-21按15:85加入500ml的四口烧瓶中,加热到70℃,在机械搅拌(3000r/min),向四口烧瓶中滴加去离子水,直至系统的黏度突然减低为止,此时系统发生相反转现象,由油包水(W/O)转变为水包油(O/W),继续滴加去离子水及,即得到水性环氧树脂乳液。

从相关数据可以看出本发明乳化剂,乳化E-21环氧乳液粒径较小,稳定性强,乳化剂含有双环氧基团可与固化剂反应,无游离态乳化剂存在,交联密度提高,提升漆膜的耐盐雾性及二次附着力。

将聚乙二醇和六氢苯酐混匀后,加入对甲基苯磺酸,在30~90℃下进行酯化反应,得到酯化反应液;
将所述酯化反应液与三羟甲基丙三缩水甘油在60~160℃下进行反应,得到所述非离子型环氧活性乳化剂。
3.如权利要求2所述的非离子型环氧活性乳化剂的制备方法,其特征在于,所述聚乙二醇和六氢苯酐的总重量与甲基苯磺酸的重量之比为100:(0.1~1)。
4.如权利要求2或3所述的非离子型环氧活性乳化剂的制备方法,其特征在于,所述聚乙二醇的分子量为1000~10000。
5.一种水性环氧树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
将权利要求1中所述的非离子型环氧活性乳化剂与双酚A环氧树脂混匀后,滴加去离子水,在20~100℃下进行高速搅拌乳化,得到所述水性环氧树脂乳液。
6.如权利要求5所述的水性环氧树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于,所述非离子型环氧活性乳化剂与双酚A环氧树脂的重量比为(5~20):100。
7.如权利要求5所述的水性环氧树脂乳液的制备方法,其特征在于,所述高速搅拌的转速为300~3800rpm。
