应意识到,本公开并不将其应用限定至在下面的描述中阐述的或附图中示意的部件的构造和布置的细节。本文的实施方式能够以多种方式实践或执行。同样,应意识到,本文所使用的措辞和术语是出于描述的目的而不应被认为是出于限制的目的,因为这是本领域技术人员可以理解的。
本文公开的机动车辆头灯40及其相关的强光灯10的组合适合用于机动车辆上,特别用于车辆前向照明的反射器空腔中,前向照明例如是车辆头灯或雾灯(在本文被统称为车辆头灯),其用于照亮道路表面。机动车辆的类型可包括但不限于陆地交通工具,例如乘用轿车、多功能运动车辆、小型货车、卡车(轻型或重型卡车)和娱乐车辆(例如,ATV、摩托车、雪地车)。替代地,机动车辆还可包括水运交通工具(例如,船舶、喷气式滑水车、个人水运船)和飞行器(例如,飞机、直升机)。
I.强光灯部件
强光灯10向机动车辆提供强光或辅助照明。强光灯10构造为布置得邻近于头灯40的外表面。强光灯10提供了从头灯空腔的强光照明,特别是补充装饰照明,补充装饰照明可被理解为提供在车辆反射器空腔之外的照明,并且其代替或不同于在机动车辆最初制造时在反射器空腔之外提供的照明。
参考图1-6,强光灯10具有固态光源,其可包括至少一个发光二极管(LED)4,且还可包括多个LED4a、4b、4c。LED4安装在例如印刷电路板(“PCB”)8的表面上,所述PCB包含从电导线16接收电力的迹线。对强光灯的电力控制在由本申请的一个或多个发明人于2015年4月30日提交的名称为“Motor Vehicle Accent Lamp and Methods of Use therefor(机动车辆强光灯及其使用方法)”的在审美国专利申请序列号14/700,435(发明人Weiss、Lessard、Holland和Landcastle)中是已知的,且该文献以引用的方式并入本文,就像在本文被完全阐述的那样。
来自LED4的热量被传输至壳体32或由其以其他方式管理,所述壳体可由金属形成,例如模铸件。PCB8被接收在形成于壳体32中的袋内。壳体32的外表面优选地包括多个散热片或针脚14,以从LED4散热。
特别地,在多个LED4a、4b、4c之中,LED4a可包括红LED,LED4b可包括绿LED,且LED4c可包括蓝LED。三个LED4a、4b、4c可布置为三角形,且三角形的中心可与延伸经过本文讨论的光导件42的中心的纵向轴线相重合。在电磁光谱内,红LED4a可操作于在620nm至700nm的范围内、甚至更特别地在620nm至645nm的范围内的波长(λ)下。绿LED4b可操作于在500nm至570nm的范围内、更特别地在520nm至550nm的范围内的波长(λ)下。蓝LED4c可操作于在450nm至500nm的范围内、更特别地在460nm至490nm的范围内的频率下。尽管可使用离散的红、绿和蓝LED芯片,但是其它芯片组包含粘合成一个芯片的全部三种裸片;RGBW(白色)和RGBA(琥珀色)芯片的组合也可被用于增强控制。在本公开的其它实施方式中,强光灯10可被构造为发射无色(白)光,例如用作日间行车灯。
关于最大光强,从强光灯10发射的最大光强构造为低于从头灯40的近光或远光发射的光强。例如,用于头灯40的光源44(例如HB4/9006卤素头灯灯泡)设计为发射大约700流明的近光和大约1200流明的远光。与之对比,从每个强光灯10的发光装置4发射的最大光强构造为小于或等于300流明。例如,从光源4发射的光强可以在5流明至300流明的范围内,且更特别地在20流明至250流明的范围内,且甚至更特别地在40流明至100流明的范围内。
LED4可布置为光引擎的部分,其可包括在PCB8上的LED驱动器,LED4a、4b和4c和电力配线安装至PCB8上以向那些LED提供关于颜色和强度的信号,正如在本领域已知但未示出的。LED驱动器可安装在与LED所安装的PCB不同的PCB上,或者与LED安装在同一PCB上。
LED4沿着主方向P发光,优选地处于朗伯(Lambertian)分布,该分布具有垂直于PCB8的最大强度,且随着非垂直的角度的增加而减小。参考图7,在装配情况中,主方向P类似于头灯胶囊灯泡44的轴线O进行导向。LED4位于透镜6下方,透镜优选地是准直透镜,以促进将由强光灯10发射的光引导至光导件42。
强光灯10具有基座2,该基座安装至壳体32且例如通过紧固件12固定至其上,且用作盖以保持PCB8和透镜6。参考图5-6和图8,基座2的下侧具有环形肋34,环形肋接收在壳体32中的袋内。在弹性柱18上向上延伸的是第一保持构件20,其位于安装表面8上方。第二保持构件24也从基座2延伸。第一和第二保持构件20、24中的每个构造为附接至头灯基座60的相应隔开的部分上。
第一或第二保持构件20、24可以是粘合剂。第一或第二保持构件20、24可以是独立部件,例如柔性带、软管夹、铰接夹或拉链带或缆带(例如,如总体上在美国专利5,911,367(McInemey)中示出的缆带),其在装配期间被连接至或围绕基座2和头灯基座60设置。
替代地且优选地,第一和/或第二保持构件20、24与基座2整体形成,例如由弹性热塑性材料(例如尼龙或乙缩醛)模制而成。优选地,第一保持构件20是C形第一夹子,其类似于由两个臂22形成的套环。第二保持构件24在更接近PCB8的位置从基座2延伸。第二保持构件24也是具有两个弹性臂26的夹子。第一和第二保持构件20、24大致彼此平行。第一夹子具有两个臂22,所述两个臂22在其自由端处彼此隔开以限定第一通道28,第一通道构造为接收第一夹子20所附接的头灯基座60的胶囊灯泡导线接收区域64。第二夹子具有两个臂26,两个臂26在其自由端处彼此隔开以限定第二通道30,第二通道构造为闩锁至头灯基座60的车辆配线连接器接收区域65上。
强光灯10可进一步包括电源(未示出),以向强光灯10提供电力,强光灯可通过电力配线16而被电力耦合至该电源。此外,强光灯10可进一步包括电力耦合至电源的控制器(未示出)。其中,控制器可被用于控制从电源输送的电力输出,特别地基于从强光灯10的使用者接收的输入来实现。这种控制器可位于机动车辆的乘客舱中,例如位于仪表板上。
电源可从例如车辆电池的电力源接收电力,电源通过电力配线而电联接至电力源。电源可进一步包括壳体,壳体包含用于激活LED芯片的恒流电源。电源至强光灯10的输出可由反馈回路控制,反馈回路包括感应电阻,其可位于强光灯10中或位于任何其它适当位置。在本公开的特定实施方式中,控制器和/或电力源可被包含在电源中,特别是在壳体内。
在本公开的特定实施方式中,控制器可以是无线控制器,其构造为从无线发射器接收输入(控制)信号。无线发射器可包括可在微计算机上操作的计算机程序,例如可通过无线电、膝上型计算机、平板电脑或智能(蜂窝)电话提供。无线控制器和无线发射器可使用技术或技术或其它适当的无线通讯技术而无线通讯。
计算机程序可以以在微电脑上操作的计算机软件应用的形式被提供。计算机软件可提供图形用户界面(GUI),其使得使用者能够选择要从强光灯10发射的彩色(带颜色)光的颜色和强度。软件可在从GUI计算机接收的接收端上运行,其继而指令通过恒流驱动器电路的每种颜色的强度。
例如,图形用户界面可使得使用者能够从提供在调色板上的可用颜色的显示器来选择颜色,这使得使用者能够选择要从强光灯10发出的彩色(带颜色)光的颜色。调色板可使用RGB颜色模型。RGB模型可被理解为加色模型,其中,来自LED4a、4b和4c的红、绿和蓝光以多种水平被组合在一起,以再生各种颜色阵列。RGB模型可以是真实颜色模型,其提供例如用于总共至少1600万种颜色变化的红、绿、蓝的至少256种色度。
图形用户界面还可使得使用者能够输入本领域已知的在0至255之间的红、绿和蓝色度的每个的特定值,其可除调色板之外或替代调色板被使用。图形用户界面还可使得使用者能够输入用于HSL(色调饱和度亮度)和HSV(色相饱和度值)的特定值,HSL和HSV可被理解为RGB颜色模型中的点的两种最常见的圆柱坐标表示。
除了颜色之外,图形用户界面还可使得使用者能够调整强光灯10的在完全强度与完全强度的一部分之间的输出强度。例如,图形用户界面可使得使用者能够基于从零(关闭)至100%(完全打开)的范围内的完全强度的百分比以1%点增加的方式调整强光灯10的输出强度。使用8位控制器允许接近1/255或近似0.5%增加的调整。因此,例如,图形用户界面可使得使用者以输出强度的10%、20%、30%、40%、50%、60%、70%、80%、90%和100%来调整强光灯10的输出强度。
可以本领域已知的方式使用针对红LED4a、绿LED4b和蓝LED4c的脉宽调制而得到从强光灯10发出的照明的颜色和强度。
II.机动车辆头灯部件
除了光线通道45已经通过灯基座60钻孔之外,机动车辆头灯40具有传统设计和构造。
传统头灯40的构造细节已经在下述文献的每篇中被示出了:美国专利7,008,096(Coushaine);7,261,451(Coushaine);6,080,019(Coushaine);6,270,235(Coushaine);6,254,252(Coushaine);5,696,424(Coushaine)和美国专利公布US2010/0213815(Aghamehdi),每篇文献都被全部合并到本文中,就像在本文被完全阐述的那样。
在图7-11中示出了机动车辆头灯40。头灯40具有胶囊灯泡44,其包含光源46,例如钨丝卤素胶囊灯泡。头灯40通常提供无色(“白”)光。无色光被理解为相对于人类裸眼为中性色彩的光。胶囊灯泡电导线48、50延伸经过压力密封端52以给灯丝供电。胶囊灯泡44布置在头灯基座60上,其中胶囊灯泡主纵向轴线O远离头灯基座60的上表面61垂直地延伸。保持器54以已知的方式抓持压力密封件52。保持器54还可包括支架或腿58,其可由金属片形成。保持器54将胶囊灯泡44连接至头灯基座60。支架58具有形成于其中的狭槽和/或限定孔56的相邻支架58之间的空间。孔56形成用于当强光灯10联接至头灯40时由强光灯10发出的光的光线出口区域。
头灯基座60具有上表面61和下表面63。下表面63形成在头灯基座60的外缘表面上。下表面63优选地是头灯基座60的底表面。
参考图8、9和11,头灯基座60具有胶囊灯泡导线接收区域64,电导线48、50从胶囊灯泡44延伸到该胶囊灯泡导线接收区域中。头灯基座60进一步具有接触件68、68,其处于车辆配线连接器接收区域65中。如图9所示,接触件68、68例如通过焊接而电连接至胶囊灯泡导线48、50,以便提供电连接至作为机动车辆一部分的配线束。参考图7-9,胶囊灯泡导线接收区域64大致横向于车辆配线连接器接收区域65,使得头灯基座60是大致L形的。至少在导线接收区域64中的胶囊灯泡导线48、50大致横向于电接触件68。
参考图12A、12B,示出了来自SAE(美国汽车工程师学会)技术说明书的摘录。SAE文献J2560的41-56页(2007年7月颁布)被全部合并到本文中,就像在本文被完全阐述的那样。在图12A、12B示出的摘要包含9005灯泡的说明书,其描述了合适的L形头灯基座60,所述头灯基座安装在名为SAE-9005、SAE-9006、SAE-9145、SAE-9140、SAE-9155、SAE-9040、SAE-9045、SAE-9055、EC-HB3、EC-HB4或EC-HB10的灯泡的包络空间内。
参考图7和11,头灯基座60包括用于连接至反射器100的锁止片70,正如本领域中已知的,通过线性插入且之后使得头灯40围绕胶囊灯泡轴线O的转动来实现锁止片至反射器的连接。
参考图7、9和11,头灯基座60可具有周向槽62,其有助于接收并安置强光灯10的套环状夹20。
参考图9和11,头灯基座60在其内部区域上限定在胶囊灯泡44下方的空腔47,所述空腔限定光线通道45。光线通道45从最外缘表面63(优选是底表面)中的孔延伸至上表面61。邻近于外缘表面63的光线通道45在外缘表面63处形成光入口窗,使得从头灯40外部的区域、即从强光灯10进入的光被引向压力密封件52的下侧和/或引向光出口孔56。
光线通道45可以是开放孔,该开放孔在干燥气候下可能是可接受的,但是在潮湿状况下会允许水汽进入车辆头灯反射器空腔中,该水汽会沉积在反射器100上。为了更好地密封车辆反射器空腔以及为了从强光灯10引导光线,光导件42被设置在光线通道45中。光导件42能够光学传送来自固态光源4的光的波长。光导件42可由塑性材料、玻璃(例如石英玻璃)或光学等级硅制成。如果光导件42由塑料或玻璃制成,则其有助于在光线通道45中的光导件42之间施加硅树脂密封剂,以禁止水汽进入。光导件42优选地是实心杆,优选地是圆柱形的。光导件42在外缘表面63在光进入窗处关闭光线通道45,但是并不需要物理占用光线通道45的整个长度。光导件42与胶囊灯泡44的中心轴线0对齐。光导件42延伸进入空腔47中,但是不需要延伸直至头灯基座60的上表面61的高度,而是光导件的长度可在该上表面的下方结束;这可有助于不仅将光射入压力密封区域52,还使得光从压力密封件52以及形成保持件54和支架58所用的金属片反射。参考图11,胶囊灯泡电导线48、50与从强光灯10发射的路径光横向间隔开,其会横向穿过光线通道45或光导件42,以避免与光路径干涉。
参考图10-11,在光入口窗处的光导件42优选是平的,其在强光灯10联接至头灯40时促进至透镜6的上表面的良好光学耦合。可选地,光导件42与外缘表面63平齐。
光线通道45优选是笔直的,且从底表面63延伸以朝上表面61引导光。如果光线通道45不是笔直的,例如,如果外部光线在槽62附近的头灯基座60的横向侧表面上进入光进入窗,那么使用反射器或弯曲光导件的光处理将光从强光灯10朝向上表面61附近的光线通道45的出口引导,使得来自强光灯10的光会照到压力密封件52的下侧附近且在保持件58的光线出口区域56处离开。这种布置会被用于将强光灯10联接至具有笔直基座而非L形基座的机动车辆灯,例如作为示例,机动车辆灯是以SAE名为9004(ECE HB1)市售的类型的机动车辆灯,其示例在Coushaine的专利6,080,019的图7中被示出,这是因为车辆配线束被插塞到下方的下端上并且与压力密封区域相对。
III.操作相关
参考图1-7,第一和第二保持构件20、24大致彼此平行。第一夹子具有两个臂22,所述臂22在其自由端彼此间隔开以限定第一通道28,所述第一通道构造为接收第一夹子20所附接的头灯基座60的胶囊灯泡导线接收区域64的外表面。第二夹子具有两个臂26,所述臂26在其自由端彼此间隔开以限定第二通道30,所述第二通道构造为闩锁至头灯基座60的车辆配线连接器接收区域65上。
特别参考图2,弹性柱18允许形成在第一保持器夹20处的套环以悬梁的方式大致围绕柱18接合基座2所在的区域朝向和远离PCB8轻微枢转。在图7的装配情形中,第二保持元件24锁定在头灯基座60的连接器联接区域65上,随后,围绕槽62联接第一保持夹20的动作导致柱18和第一保持元件20从其闲置位置轻微偏移,因而促使强光灯10和头灯40更紧密地连接。这样实现了部件的更快定向以及透镜6的上表面和光导件42的光进入窗朝向彼此(优选地形成平齐匹配接触)的偏移。
用于引入头灯40的第一和第二通道28、30都是从横向侧开放的,如图1的俯视图所示;且在远离PCB8垂直延伸的方向上是开放的,如图2的侧视图所示。
特别参考图7-8,为了实现装配,通过应用中等手指力,强光灯10被容易地相对于头灯40轻微倾斜,以在头灯40的配线连接器接收区域65的上表面上钩住第二通道开口30的臂26,且随后强光灯10垂直于胶囊灯泡主轴线O以大致平移运动滑动,由此在第一通道开口28处遇到一些轻微的阻力(这是由于臂22、22之间的分开距离被选择为小于胶囊灯泡导线接收区域64的外表面,例如槽62的直径),且克服该阻力会允许第一保持构件20夹持至槽62。这种定位还可偏移弹性柱18,以促进光源4至光导件42的光学耦合。
替代地,强光灯10可在大致平行于胶囊灯泡主轴线O的方向上被引入至头灯40上,这通过如下操作来实现:倾斜外缘表面63以将头灯基座60的邻近于光导件42的区域在第一保持构件20的臂22之间在下方引导以穿过第一通道28且随后向下平移头灯40,使得配线连接器接收区域65撬开弹性臂26,还实现了图7、11的组装情形且促进光学耦合。
由于该简单的组装方向,强光灯10可在头灯40安装至车辆头灯空腔之前或之后被安装至头灯40,这通过借助于经由车辆发动机舱通达的开口利用片70将头灯匹配至车辆安装的反射器100来实现。当需要更换强光灯10或头灯40时,强光灯10可选择地容易地从头灯40拆除,例如用于维修、保养或再照明。
虽然已经描述了本公开的优选实施方式,但是应被理解的是,可对本文进行多种改变、适应和修改,而不偏移本公开的精神和所附权利要求的范围。因而,不应参考上面的描述来确定本公开的范围,而是应参考所附权利要求及其全部等同范围来确定本公开的范围。此外,应理解的是,所附权利要求并不必包括申请人声称所要求的本公开的最宽范围、或者仅有本公开可要求保护的方式、或者全部引用的特征都是必须的。

Claims (17)

1.一种强光灯(10),所述强光灯能够可拆除地附接至具有承载头灯胶囊灯泡(44)的头灯基座(60)的机动车辆头灯(40),所述强光灯(10)包括:
基座(2);
固态光源(4),所述固态光源被设置在附接至所述基座(2)的安装表面(8)上,所述固态光源(4)设置成在远离所述安装表面(8)的主方向(P)上发光;以及
第一保持构件(20),所述第一保持构件被设置在所述基座(2)上且适于附接至所述头灯基座(60)的第一部分以及从其可选择地拆卸,所述第一保持构件(20)布置在沿着所述主方向(P)延伸的方向看的在所述安装表面(2)上方的高度处。
2.如权利要求1所述的强光灯,其中,所述第一保持构件(20)包括第一夹子。
3.如权利要求2所述的强光灯,其中,所述第一夹子包括两个臂(22)。

13.如权利要求1所述的强光灯,其中,所述第一保持构件(20)相对于所述安装表面(8)偏移。
14.如权利要求1所述的强光灯,其中,所述第一保持构件(20)布置在从所述基座(2)向上延伸的弹性柱(18)上。
15.如权利要求1所述的强光灯,其中,所述第一保持构件(20)构造为从下方附接至SAE9005(EC HB3)型头灯的锁止片(70)下方的颈部。
