Abstract

通过提高铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物的颜色纯度扩大彩色再显范围,从而防止了红色荧光体的相对发光效率降低。将规定粒度的红色第1荧光体和粒度更小的红色第2荧光体混合,上述第1荧光体和第2荧光体,分别含有相对于1mol母体氧硫化钇为0.07-0.08g原子量的活化剂铕。

Description

彩色阴极射线管的红色荧光体组合物
本发明是关于彩色阴极射线管的红色荧光体组合物,特别是关于在扩大彩色再显范围时可防止红色荧光体组合物的相对发光效率降低的彩色阴极射线管的红色荧光体组合物。
在美国专利US 4307320中公开了一种彩色阴极射线管的荧光面制造方法,其中在黑色基质形成的板内面上涂敷绿色或兰色荧光体,曝光后,再在该板上涂敷含有相对于1mol氧硫化钇,作为活化剂的0.04-0.066g原子量的铕的铕活化氧硫化钇的红色荧光体(Y2O2S:Eu),并通过曝光形成彩色阴极射线管的屏面。
然而,含有上述组成的铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物(Y2O2S:Eu),在C.I.E色度图上,X座标值低,Y座标值高,彩色纯度低,不能满足近年来对彩色再显范围要求为自然色的彩色再显范围。
本发明目的是提供一种彩色阴极射线管的红色荧光体组合物,是通过提高铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物的颜色纯度,以扩大彩色再显范围,同时也可防止红色荧光体的相对发光效率降低。
上述本发明目的是通过将规定粒度的红色第1荧光体和粒度更小的红色第2荧光体进行混合,并上述第1荧光体和第2荧光体是分别相对于1mol的母体氧化硫化钇含有0.07-0.08g原子量活化剂铕的彩色阴极射线管铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物(Y2O2S:Eu)而达到的。
根据本发明,将增加了铕活化氧硫化钇的红色荧光体组合物涂敷在涂有绿色和兰色荧光体的板内面,同时进行曝光形成彩色阴极射线管的荧光面。其中作为活化剂铕的含量增加至相对于1mol母体氧硫化钇取为0.07-0.08g原子量。
铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物(Y2O2S:Eu),根据其母体氧硫化钇和活化剂铕的含量比率,C.I.E色度图中的X,Y坐标值变化。本发明的红色荧光体组合物,如图3所示,在C.I.E色度图中的彩色点,当铕含量为0.07g原子量时,X=0.645,Y=0.352;铕含量为0.08g原子量时,X=0.651,Y=0.347,通过增加铕含量,增加红色荧光体组合物的C.I.E.色度图中的X坐标值,减少Y坐标值,以提高颜色纯度,在自然彩色范围内扩大彩色的再显范围。
然而,如下表1所示,产生的问题是上述铕含量越增加,红色荧光体的相对发光效率越降低。这时,相对发光效率是把粒度为7-8μm,Eu含量为0.07g原子量的红色荧光体组合物中加入稳定强度的光源时,发出的荧光强度作为基准值。
为了解决上述问题,如图4所示,使用将粒度为7-8μm的红色第1荧光体(3)和3-5μm的红色第2荧光体(4)进行混合而含有的本发明的红色荧光体组合物,在板(1)上的黑色基质(2)上形成荧光膜,以提高膜的填充性,从而可防止相对发光效率的降低。

如图1和图2所示,上述铕活化氧硫化钇荧光体组合物(Y2O2S:Eu),相对于1mol母体氧硫化钇,增加铕的含量时,可见光领域中的发光波长移向短波长一方,如下表2所示,铕含量减少时,在可见光领域内,586nm,555nm,539nm和513nm的发光峰强度,相对于主发光峰626nm都要增加。

因此,减少铕含量可减少图3的C.I.E色度图中的X坐标值,增加Y坐标值。
如上所述,当减少铕含量时,短波长领域中的发光强度将增加,相对地脱离纯红色发光领域,而颜色纯度降低。
因此,使用增加铕的含量为相对于1mol母体氧硫化钇为0.07-0.08g原子量的本发明的这种铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物,可提高红色荧光体的颜色纯度,扩大彩色再显范围。
然而,如上所述,所产生问题是增加铕会使红色荧光体的相对发光效率降低,红色单色辉度降低,这种问题是通过使用规定粒度的红色第1荧光体和粒度更小的红色第2荧光体二种类型混合的红色荧光体组合物,可得到解决。将含有混合了二种不同粒度的红色发光体的红色荧光体组合物涂敷在荧光膜上,由于提高了荧光膜的膜填充性,从而可防止发光效率的降低。
例如,在使用粒度分别为7-8μm二种红色荧光体相混合的红色荧光体组合物时,阴极射线管屏的点或线的相对发光效率示于表3。

如上所述,根据本发明,通过增加铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物中活化剂的含量,提高红色第1荧光体的颜色纯度,以扩大彩色再显范围,将规定粒度的红色第1荧光体和粒度更小的红色第2荧光体混合,使用含有这种本发明的混合物的红色荧光体组合物,可提高彩色随极管屏上点或线的膜填充性,从而可防止由于增加上述活化剂而带来相对发光效率降低的问题。
图1是铕含量为0.08g原子量/mol的本发明红色荧光体组合物的光谱图。
图2是铕含量为0.07g原子量/mol的本发明红色荧光体组合物的光谱图。
图3是本发明的红色荧光体组合物的C.I.E色度图。
图4是由本发明红色荧光体组合物形成的红色荧光膜断面图。

Claims (2)

1.一种彩色阴极射线管的铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物,其特征在于:是将红色第1荧光体和红色第2荧光体混合而成的,所说红色第1荧光体和红色第2荧光体分别相对于1摩尔母体氧硫化钇含有0.07-0.08g原子量的活化剂铕,红色第1荧光体的粒度为7-8μm,红色第2荧光体的粒度为3-5μm。
2.根据权利要求1的彩色阴极射线管的铕活化氧硫化钇红色荧光体组合物,其特征在于:上述第1荧光体和第2荧光体的比为0.25-4。
