Abstract

技术领域
本公开涉及机动车辆能量吸收装置。更具体地,本公开涉及一种用于机动车辆的能量吸收装置,其包括用于防止格栅结构在撞击过程中分离的锁紧结构,还包括集成式能量吸收装置,从而提高了吸收撞击能量的效率。
背景技术
现代机动车辆包括各种的包括安全带、安全气囊以及保险杠这样的安全结构,以在碰撞事件中保护车辆乘员。众所周知,典型的机动车辆保险杆会包括能量吸收装置部件。这种能量吸收装置部件旨在在车辆或行人撞击事件中提供撞击保护,并且是典型地是设计成在撞击早期吸收大部分撞击能并同时确保行人保护的可变形元件。
如图1所示,机动车辆10通常装备有加载有能量吸收装置14的保险杠总成12。同时也描述了格栅总成16和进气元件18。参照图2,常规地,被格栅总成16和能量吸收装置14围绕的区域不重叠(见括号A和B)。
然而,为了向机动车辆发动机提供增大的气流以用于冷却,并同时由于审美原因和消费者的喜好,许多现代机动车辆包含覆盖机动车辆正面区域更大部分的格栅总成。扩大格栅总成16令人不快地使得被格栅总成16围绕的区域与被能量吸收装置14围绕的区域重叠(见图3,括号A和B)。这将格栅总成16放置于机动车辆10前部的在正面撞击中有可能损坏格栅并且使格栅侵入机动车辆10发动机舱的区域中。也就是说,在正面撞击中,由于格栅总成16和能量吸收装置14之间没有连接,格栅总成16有可能与能量吸收装置14分离。安全规则不允许格栅总成16定位于可能引起损坏的区域,除非证明格栅作为机动车辆10的能量吸收系统的组成部分吸收撞击能量。
简单地将能量吸收装置14紧固在格栅总成16上可以缓解这个问题,但是将出现另外的困难,并增加机动车辆组装过程的复杂性和成本。因此,为了解决这些和其他问题,本公开描述了一种用于机动车辆的能量吸收装置总成。有利地是,所公开的能量吸收装置总成在撞击事件中保持安装于保险杠的能量吸收装置与格栅总成之间的接合,使格栅总成集成到机动车辆的整个能量吸收系统中,但不需要格栅总成的任何部分实际上紧固至安装于保险杠的能量吸收装置。
发明内容
根据本文所述的目的和好处,公开了一种用于机动车辆的能量吸收装置总成。第一能量吸收部件被加载在机动车辆的保险杠总成上,并且第二能量吸收部件包含于机动车辆格栅总成的格栅托架部件内。总成包括第一可变形能量吸收部件和至少一个与机动车辆的格栅总成相关联的可变形第二能量吸收部件。在实施例中,格栅托架部件包括多个第二能量吸收部件,该第二能量吸收部件配置用于插接多个相应的第一能量吸收部件的接收部。通过这个结构,接收部和第二能量吸收部件在第一可变形能量吸收部件接收正面撞击而变形时保持接合。
在另一方面,提供一种用于机动车辆的格栅总成,其包括限定至少一个进气口的格栅元件和用于支撑格栅元件的格栅托架元件。格栅托架元件包括插接相应的接收部的至少一个可变形能量吸收部件,该接收部限定于安装于机动车辆保险杠的可变形能量吸收装置内。

具体实施方式
现在参照图4,说明了依据本发明的能量吸收装置总成20。格栅总成22包括格栅部件24和格栅支撑件或托架26。格栅支撑件或托架26中包括多个格栅托架能量吸收装置28。
提供一种安装于保险杠或安装于车辆护板的能量吸收装置30,其包括多个隔开的可变形能量吸收结构32,正如本领域所公知的,该能量吸收结构32一旦撞击便各自变形,并且吸收撞击的能量。如上所述,能量吸收装置30可以被安装至车辆保险杠或安装至附接到车辆的护板上。每一个结构32限定接收部34,该接收部34接收格栅托架能量吸收装置28的一部分。因此,当格栅总成22被组装到机动车辆上时,每一个格栅托架能量吸收装置28的一部分与安装于保险杠的能量吸收装置30的接收部34插接(见图5)。如图6所示,即使在格栅总成22和能量吸收装置30的区域重叠的情况下的机动车辆10中(见括号A、B),通过接收部34和格栅托架能量吸收装置28的相互作用,格栅总成22和能量吸收装置30实际上形成共享耗散撞击能量功能的封装元件。
具体地,如图7A-C所示,在例如与平的障碍物36的正面撞击中,每个能量吸收结构32开始变形,以吸收撞击的能量。随着每个能量吸收结构32变形,格栅总成22与能量吸收装置30的接合通过接收部34和格栅托架能量吸收装置28的插接来保持(见图7B和7C中包围的区域)。由于这个保持的接合,格栅总成22与能量吸收装置30作为一单元来耗散撞击的能量。缺少这些结构时,随着能量吸收结构32在撞击时完全变形(见图7C),格栅总成22与能量吸收装置30的接合将会被解除,以及格栅总成22将与能量吸收装置30分离并且无法有助于吸收撞击的能量。
因此,本领域技术人员应当理解的是,本文公开的能量吸收装置总成提供了一种简单而高效的机构,该机构允许机动车辆的格栅总成成为车辆的能量耗散系统的一部分。通过本公开的能量吸收装置总成,在不违反有关撞击保护安全规则的情况下,更大的进气格栅总成是有可能的。

其中,所述第一能量吸收部件限定至少一个接收部,所述接收部用于接合至少一个所述第二能量吸收部件的一部分,从而所述接收部和至少一个所述第二能量吸收部件的所述部分在接收撞击时保持接合。
2.根据权利要求1所述的能量吸收装置总成,其中所述第一能量吸收部件被加载在所述机动车辆的保险杠总成上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的能量吸收装置总成,其中所述第二能量吸收部件包含于所述机动车辆格栅总成的格栅托架部件中。
4.根据权利要求3所述的能量吸收装置总成,其中所述格栅托架部件包括多个所述第二能量吸收部件,每个所述第二能量吸收部件配置用于插接多个相应的所述第一能量吸收部件的所述接收部。
5.根据权利要求1所述的能量吸收装置总成,其中所述撞击是针对所述机动车辆的正面撞击。
6.一种包括权利要求1所述的能量吸收装置总成的机动车辆。
7.一种用于转移至少部分撞击能量的方法,所述至少部分撞击能量与和机动车辆格栅总成正面撞击相关,所述方法包含:
提供第一可变形能量吸收部件;以及
提供至少一个可变形第二能量吸收部件,所述第二能量吸收部件与所述格栅总成相关联;
其中所述第一能量吸收部件接合至少一个所述第二能量吸收部件的一部分,从而所述第一能量吸收部件和至少一个所述第二能量吸收部件在接收撞击时保持接合。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,包括提供加载在所述机动车辆的保险杠总成上的所述第一能量吸收部件。
9.根据权利要求7所述的方法,包括将所述第二能量吸收部件设置为所述机动车辆格栅总成的格栅托架部件的一种元件。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方法,包括提供所述格栅托架部件,所述格栅托架部件包括多个所述第二能量吸收部件,每个所述第二能量吸收部件配置用于插接多个相应的所述第一能量吸收部件的接收部。
11.一种用于机动车辆的格栅总成,包含:
格栅元件,所述格栅元件限定至少一个进气口;
格栅托架元件,所述格栅托架元件用于支撑所述格栅元件,所述格栅托架元件包括至少一个可变形能量吸收部件。
12.根据权利要求11所述的格栅总成,其中所述至少一个可变形能量吸收部件配置用于插接相应的接收部,所述接收部限定于安装于机动车辆保险杠的可变形能量吸收装置内。
13.根据权利要求12所述的格栅总成,其中所述格栅托架元件包括多个可变形能量吸收部件,每个所述能量吸收部件配置用于插接多个相应的接收部,所述接收部限定于所述安装于机动车辆保险杠的可变形能量吸收装置内。
14.一种包括权利要求11所述的格栅总成的机动车辆。
15.一种用于机动车辆的安装于保险杠或安装于车辆护板的可变形能量吸收装置,包含可变形能量吸收部件,所述可变形能量吸收部件限定至少一个接收部,所述接收部接合至少一个相应的安装于格栅托架的可变形能量吸收部件;
所述接收部和所述安装于格栅托架的可变形能量吸收部件配置用于在接收撞击时保持接合。
