也可以在利用未硫化橡胶片210a和210b覆盖凹部之后执行以下操作。如图3的(a)所示,未硫化橡胶片210a和210b的布置在表面橡胶204上的部分被切除以使得未硫化橡胶片210a和210b的表面与表面橡胶204的表面大致平齐,接下来对未硫化橡胶片210a和210b进行硫化。此外,为了改善外观,如图3的(b)所示,未硫化橡胶片的带长度方向两端部均被打磨以使得凹部的边缘203e可辨识。然而,在这种情形下,存在如下可能性:粘接用加工材料202由于在凹部的边缘203e处暴露而劣化,这导致带在边缘203e处产生裂缝,并且未硫化橡胶片210a和210b从未硫化橡胶片的图中箭头所示的分界面的暴露部分完全剥离。
因此,提供如下的环带的制造方法和耐久性高的环带有所助益:通过该环带的制造方法,能够提高环加工的作业效率并能够得到该耐久性高的环带。
用于解决问题的手段
在本发明的环带的制造方法中,A是该未硫化橡胶片和该粘接用加工材料的分界面的带长度方向边缘与该凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离,B是该粘接用加工材料贴附的区域的带长度方向边缘与该凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离,则A<B。
在本说明书中,“表面橡胶”是指形成带的外表面的层状的橡胶。
诸如未硫化橡胶片与粘接用加工材料的带分界面的带长度方向边缘与凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离A等的尺寸是非硫化橡胶片等被硫化之前的尺寸。“贴附”粘接用加工材料包括通过涂布、散布等方式将粘接用加工材料置于该区域中。
发明的效果
因此,能够提供如下的环带的制造方法和耐久性高的环带:通过该环带的制造方法,能够提高环加工的作业效率并能够得到该耐久性高的环带。

具体实施方式
以下参照附图说明所公开的环带的制造方法的实施方式。
在本实施方式中,通过在多层帆布120上覆盖表面橡胶104来制造具有两端部的带100。如图1的(a)所示,在将表面橡胶104的在带100的长度方向上的两端部100a和100b处的部分去除之后,在两端部100a和100b处的芯体帆布在台阶加工步骤中被阶梯式地剥离以形成台阶面101。尽管本实施方式说明的是将一个带的两端部接合以制造环带的情况,但是本方法也可以应用于将多个带的端部接合以制造环带的情况。
在台阶加工步骤的前后,如图1的(a)所示,在提高粘接性加工步骤中对表面橡胶104的区域105施加提高粘接性加工。在本实施方式中,通过用研磨器等打磨(buff)表面橡胶的外表面以使表面橡胶粗糙化来执行提高粘接性加工。这不仅具有通过使表面粗糙化而获得的清洁橡胶表面的效果和锚固效果,还能够使橡胶分子活性化。
在本说明书中,在表面橡胶上执行的“提高粘接性加工”是指能够提高待接合至表面橡胶的未硫化橡胶片和粘接性加工材料的粘接性的加工,诸如对表面橡胶的外表面进行打磨或切削表面橡胶。
接下来,如图1的(b)所示,在粘接用加工材料贴附步骤中,粘接用加工材料102被贴附到台阶面101和表面橡胶104的带长度方向两端部。粘接用加工材料102贴附的区域的带长度方向边缘102e和下述凹部的带长度方向边缘103e之间的带长度方向距离(以下也称作粘接材料贴附区域的长度)为B。粘接用加工材料102被贴附成使得粘接材料贴附区域的长度B比如下的长度方向距离A(以下也称作未硫化橡胶片的长度)大:该长度方向距离A是下述的未硫化橡胶片110a与粘接用加工材料102之间的分界面的带长度方向边缘110e与凹部的带长度方向边缘103e之间的长度方向距离。这里,粘接用加工材料可以被贴附到重叠的台阶面101的仅一方。
粘接用加工材料102的示例包括:橡胶粘剂(rubber cement)、未硫化粘接橡胶(只有在与橡胶粘剂一起使用时才具有足够粘着力的橡胶)以及未硫化粘着橡胶,橡胶粘剂是在有机溶剂中溶解未硫化粘接橡胶得到的且具有高粘着力,橡胶粘剂和未硫化粘接橡胶均被传统地且广泛地使用,未硫化粘着橡胶即使单独使用时(即使不与橡胶粘剂一起使用时)也具有足够粘着力。该未硫化粘着橡胶使用更简便。在使用未硫化粘着橡胶的情况下,可以通过不用橡胶粘剂或使用少量的橡胶粘剂来减轻环境负荷。未硫化粘接橡胶或未硫化粘着橡胶可以被用作(贴附成)单层或者两层或更多层。在形成两层或更多层未硫化粘接橡胶或未硫化粘着橡胶的情况下,可以提升未硫化橡胶片特别容易被剥离的凹部的从底部到带长度方向边缘103e处的倾斜面的缓冲特性。例如,未硫化粘着橡胶的粘接力是1.0N/mm或更大、优选地是1.5N/mm或更大。注意,粘接力是根据JIS K 6322来测量的。
通过使用橡胶粘剂和未硫化粘接橡胶或未硫化粘着橡胶作为粘接用加工材料102,可以提高构件被硫化前各部件彼此间的粘接性,并且还能够使带的长度方向两端部通过硫化而被牢固地彼此接合。
在上述的粘接用加工材料贴附步骤之后,在重叠步骤中,如图1的(c)所示,以使得在表面橡胶104的带长度方向两端部之间形成凹部103的方式使带的长度方向两端部100a和100b重叠。
尽管本实施方式描述了当使带的长度方向两端部重叠以形成凹部时粘接用加工材料已经被贴附到该凹部的情况,但是也可以是在凹部形成之后再贴附粘接用加工材料。例如,在粘接用加工材料102仅贴附到在带的表面侧具有台阶面101的带长度方向端部100a之后,执行重叠步骤来形成凹部103,然后将粘接用加工材料102贴附到带长度方向端部100b的表面橡胶104。
在随后的未硫化橡胶片覆盖步骤中,如图1的(d)所示,用至少一层未硫化橡胶片对粘接用加工材料102所贴附的带的长度方向两端部之间的凹部103进行覆盖,例如在本实施方式中用两层未硫化橡胶片110a和110b进行覆盖。
通常粘接用加工材料的耐气候性低,并由此在暴露于带的外表面时容易劣化。尤其是当粘接用加工材料在凹部的边缘103e处暴露时,在边缘处容易出现裂缝,这可能导致未硫化橡胶片完全剥离。因此,未硫化橡胶片110a和110b被配置为能够完全覆盖凹部的边缘103e。
接下来切割未硫化橡胶片110a和110b以使得未硫化橡胶片的宽度A比粘接材料贴附区域的长度B小。通过将粘接用加工材料102贴附到比未硫化橡胶片以这种方式配置的区域宽的区域,防止了未硫化橡胶片和粘接用加工材料在硫化之前从表面橡胶104剥离,从而提供环加工的作业效率。这使得能够通过硫化接合得到高耐久性的环带。
优选地,如图1的(d)所示,上层的未硫化橡胶片110b的带长度方向的长度小于下层的未硫化橡胶片110a的带长度方向的长度。通过使未硫化橡胶片在远离表面橡胶的方向上缩短,未硫化橡胶片能够被容易地切割,如下所述地,在硫化接合步骤中使橡胶片在带长度方向上适当地流动从而使得带表面在硫化之后较为平坦化。注意,如图1的(e)所示,在以层积的形式形成未硫化橡胶片110a和110b之后,可以用切割机或类似工具将未硫化橡胶片110a和110b斜着切割成呈现梯形形状。
在此之后,利用辊300对上层的未硫化橡胶片110b的上表面加压以压接未硫化橡胶片110a和110b、粘接用加工材料102以及包括凹部103的表面橡胶104。
粘接用加工材料102(尤其是在包括未硫化橡胶的情况下)易于牢固地贴附到未硫化橡胶片110a和110b,但并不易于贴附到硫化的表面橡胶104。因此,在传统技术中,例如当如上所述利用辊对上层的未硫化橡胶片110b的上表面加压时,能够出现以下现象:粘接用加工材料102贴附到未硫化橡胶片110a而不是表面橡胶104,并且未硫化橡胶片110a和110b以及粘接用加工材料102从表面橡胶104剥离。
有鉴于此,粘接材料贴附区域的长度B被设置为比未硫化橡胶片的长度A大以使得粘接用加工材料102延伸过未硫化橡胶片110a和110b,以便使得粘接用加工材料102至少在延伸区域能够牢固地贴附到表面橡胶104。这有效地防止了例如在利用辊300对上层的未硫化橡胶片110b的上表面加压时未硫化橡胶片110a和110b以及粘接用加工材料102从表面橡胶104剥离。
在随后的硫化接合步骤中,包括凹部103的、重叠的带长度方向两端部在被从上方和下方加压的同时被加热,以使未硫化橡胶片110a和110b硫化。如上所述,由于各构件被牢固地彼此粘附,带的长度方向端部100a和100b通过硫化被牢固地彼此接合。这样得到了耐久性高的环带。
在硫化接合步骤中,被加压同时被加热的橡胶片在带长度方向上流动。这消除了在硫化之前表面橡胶104和未硫化橡胶片110a和110b之间的高度差(凹凸)。这里,如图1的(d)所示,在远离表面橡胶的方向上减小未硫化橡胶片的带长度方向的长度有利于在硫化接合步骤中橡胶片在带长度方向上的流动。
如果在硫化接合步骤中橡胶流动到未经过诸如打磨的提高粘接性加工的区域,则流动的橡胶可能在该区域中的表面橡胶上形成膜并剥离。在这种情况下,外观劣化,并且存在剥离的橡胶等进入被输送的物品的可能性。因此,在硫化接合步骤之后需要进行精加工操作以打磨带表面从而去除剥离的橡胶等。
施加提高粘接性加工的区域105的带长度方向边缘105e和凹部的带长度方向边缘103e之间的带长度方向距离(以下也称作提高粘接性加工区域的长度)为C。当A小于B且B小于C时,表面橡胶104的提高粘接性加工区域105可以刚好在硫化接合之前暴露。结果,在硫化接合过程中,在带长度方向上流动的橡胶在提高粘接性加工区域105被接合到表面橡胶104。由此可以简化硫化接合步骤之后的精加工操作。
这里,当10mm≤A≤20mm、20mm<B≤40mm、50mm<C≤70mm时,可以进一步提高环加工的作业效率,并且可以进一步提高硫化接合步骤之后的提高环带耐久性的上述效果和简化精加工操作的效果。
在硫化接合步骤中,在例如形成硫化橡胶片的同时残留在硫化橡胶中的空气会试图从带表面逸出。为了防止这些空气在带表面累积而使表面特性劣化,可以利用未硫化橡胶片的表面(例如在本实施方式中的上层的未硫化橡胶片110b的表面)覆盖有布等而使空气逸出。优选地,在透气性耐热膜被贴附到未硫化橡胶片的表面的状态下执行硫化。与未硫化橡胶片的表面覆盖有布的情况相比,这有助于在硫化后得到更好的表面形状,并且即使在形成了褶皱的情况下也能够在硫化后减少在带表面上形成任何褶皱。
作为透气性耐热膜,例如,诸如氟树脂或聚烯烃等的树脂可以被用作能够抵抗最高200℃的高温的材料。透气性耐热膜的厚度优选地为20μm-100μm、特别优选地为30μm-50μm。当透气性耐热膜极其薄时,在硫化之后容易在带表面形成褶皱。当透气性耐热膜极其厚时,在表面橡胶或粘接性加工材料在硫化过程中流动到膜贴附范围之外的情况下,在膜贴附范围在未硫化橡胶和硫化橡胶之间容易出现高度差。可以使用粗糙的(matted)或平滑化的透气性耐热膜来抑制带表面在硫化之后的不自然的光泽,从而进一步改善带的外观。

Claims (5)

1.一种环带的制造方法,其包括:
未硫化橡胶片覆盖步骤,其中利用至少一层未硫化橡胶片对凹部进行覆盖,所述凹部形成在带的表面橡胶的带长度方向两端部之间并且贴附有粘接用加工材料;以及
硫化接合步骤,其中对所述未硫化橡胶片进行硫化以使所述未硫化橡胶片接合至所述表面橡胶,
其中,A是该未硫化橡胶片和该粘接用加工材料的分界面的带长度方向边缘与该凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离,B是该粘接用加工材料贴附的区域的带长度方向边缘与该凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离,则A<B。
2.根据权利要求1所述的环带的制造方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括:
提高粘接性加工步骤,其中在所述未硫化橡胶片覆盖步骤之前,对所述表面橡胶的带的长度方向两端部施加提高粘接性加工,
其中,C是施加了该提高粘接性加工的区域的带长度方向边缘与所述凹部的带长度方向边缘之间的带长度方向距离,则A<B<C。
3.根据权利要求2所述的环带的制造方法,其特征在于,
10mm≤A≤20mm,20mm<B≤40mm,并且50mm<C≤70mm。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的环带的制造方法,其特征在于,
所述粘接用加工材料是以下材料:橡胶粘剂和未硫化粘接橡胶;或者是未硫化粘着橡胶。
5.一种环带,其由权利要求1至4中任一项所述的环带的制造方法制造。
