Description
技术领域
本发明涉及在对搭载在电动汽车、混合电动汽车等车辆上的电池进行充电时使用的充电连接器。
背景技术
为了对搭载在电动汽车(EV)、混合电动汽车(HEV)等车辆上的电池进行充电,使用充电连接器(参照专利文献1)。参照图1说明这种充电连接器的相关的例子。
充电连接器100如图1所示,包括:封装外壳110、配置在封装外壳110内的连接器主体部120、及配置在封装外壳110内的锁定臂130。
封装外壳110由2个外壳分割体110A、110B形成。各外壳分割体110A、110B具有互相对接的对接面111,相互的对接面111彼此对接。在封装外壳110的前端部设置有连接器嵌合部露出孔112。在封装外壳110的后端侧设置有电线拉出用孔113。
连接器主体部120具有:连接器壳121;及容纳在连接器壳121的端子容纳室(未图示)中的多个端子(未图示)。连接器主体部121的前方部从连接器嵌合部突出孔112向封装外壳110外突出。该突出的部位是与受电插孔装置(未图示)嵌合的连接器嵌合部121A。
在各端子(未图示)上分别连接有电线W。在连接器壳121的电线布线部位装载有橡胶塞(未图示)。由此,防止向连接器壳121内的浸水。从连接器壳121拉出的各电线W被从电线拉出孔113导出至封装外壳110外。
锁定臂130被自由摆动地支持于封装外壳110。锁定臂130的前方侧和后方侧分别从封装外壳110露出。锁定臂130在与充电插口装置(未图示)的嵌合过程中位于未锁定位置,在嵌合完成位置位于锁定位置。
在上述相关的例子中,即使水浸入到封装外壳110内,橡胶塞也会阻止所浸入的水进入到连接器壳121的端子(未图示)位置。由此,实现端子(未图示)的防水。

发明内容
顺便提及,由于橡胶塞价格高,且需要与端子个数相应的数量,因此元件成本、组装作业成本等提高,因此,充电连接器100的成本高。端子的个数变多时,成本会随此上升。
本发明的目的在于提供一种充电连接器,在为对端子进行防水的构造的情况下,成本低。
实施方式所涉及的充电连接器包括:封装外壳,所述封装外壳包含2个外壳分割体,所述2个外壳分割体将相互的对接面彼此对接地组装,在组装状态下开口有连接器嵌合部突出孔和电线拉出孔;连接器主体部,所述连接器主体部容纳在所述封装外壳内,所述连接器主体部具有从所述连接器嵌合部突出孔露出到所述封装外壳外的连接器嵌合部;及密封部件,所述密封部件一体地具有:外壳分割面用密封部,所述外壳分割面用密封部沿着将容纳在所述封装外壳内的所述连接器主体部的部位包围的所述对接面的全周配置,介在于所述2个外壳分割体的所述对接面间;连接器主体用密封部,所述连接器主体用密封部沿着所述连接器嵌合部突出孔的全周配置,介在于所述封装外壳与所述连接器主体部间;及电线用密封部,所述电线用密封部沿着所述电线拉出孔的全周配置,介在于所述封装外壳、与被从所述连接器主体部拉出并从所述电线拉出孔导出到所述封装外壳外的电线之间。
根据上述构成,由于利用密封部件阻止向封装外壳内的连接器主体部的浸水,因此能够对连接器主体部内的端子进行防水。由于密封部件是单一元件,介在于2个外壳分割体之间,并且组装在封装外壳与连接器主体部之间、及封装外壳与电线之间,因此,与在各端子上分别装载防水塞的情况相比,元件成本、组装成本等可以是低成本。另外,即使端子的个数变多成本也不会上升。如上所述,能够提供充电连接器,在为对端子进行防水的构造的情况下,成本低。

具体实施方式
下面,基于附图说明本发明的一个实施方式。
图2~图6B示出本发明的一个实施方式。如图2~图4所示,充电连接器1包括:封装外壳2;容纳在封装外壳2内的连接器主体部20;配置在封装外壳2内的锁定臂30;由锁定臂30进行接通、断开的微型开关31;及密封部件40。
封装外壳2由互相组装的2个外壳分割体2A、2B构成。在各外壳分割体2A、2B的大致全外周缘设有对接面3。各外壳分割体2A、2B在内部具有锁定臂容纳室4和连接器容纳室5,这些容纳部4、5间被内部隔板壁6隔开。该内部隔板壁6的前端面是对接面7。在包围连接器容纳室5的对接面3、7的部位形成有密封保持槽8。
2个外壳分割体2A、2B被在使相互的对接面3、7对接的状态下组装。各外壳分割体2A、2B的前端部和后端部分别被形成为半圆弧状的凹部9A、9B。在封装外壳2的组装状态下,由前端部的两个凹部9A、9B构成连接器嵌合部突出孔9。在封装外壳2的组装状态下,由后端部的两个凹部10A、10B构成电线拉出孔10(参照图5)。另外,在各外壳分割体2A、2B的内部隔板壁6上形成有圆弧状的凹部11A、11B(参照图6A)。在封装外壳2的组装状态下,由两个内部隔板壁6的凹部11A、11B构成电线贯通孔11(参照图6B)。在各凹部9A、9B、10A、10B、11A、11B的内表面上也形成有密封件保持槽8。
连接器主体部20容纳在连接器容纳室5内。连接器主体部20具有:连接器壳21;及容纳在该连接器壳21的端子容纳室(未图示)中的多个端子(未图示)。连接器壳21的前方部是与受电插孔装置(未图示)嵌合的连接器嵌合部21A。连接器嵌合部21A从连接器嵌合部突出孔9向封装外壳2外突出。
多个端子(未图示)分为电力供给用和嵌合检测用这两个种类。在各端子(未图示)上分别连接有电线W1。从连接器壳21拉出的多根电线W1被容纳在保护管25内,并被从电线拉出孔10导出至封装外壳2外。
锁定臂30和微型开关31容纳在锁定臂容纳室4中。锁定臂30被自由摆动地支持在封装外壳2上。锁定臂30的前方侧和后方侧分别从封装外壳2露出。在锁定臂30的前方侧设有锁定爪30a。锁定臂30的后方侧为解除操作部30b。锁定臂30被弹簧32的弹簧力向锁定侧施力。
微型开关31的外壳内部被粘接剂填充。利用该填充粘接剂,对微型开关31内进行防水。微型开关31与嵌合检测用的一个端子(未图示)之间由内部电线W2连接。由此,能够检测是否有与充电插口装置的嵌合状态。
密封部件40由弹性优良的橡胶材料形成。密封部件40包括:外壳分割面用密封部41,其沿着将被容纳在外壳2内的连接器主体部20的部位包围的外壳分割体2A、2B的对接面3、7的全周配置;连接器主体用密封部42,其沿着连接器嵌合部突出孔9的全周配置;电线用密封部43,其沿着电线拉出孔10的全周配置;及内部电线用密封部44,其沿着电线贯通孔11的全周配置,这些密封部被设置为一体。外壳分割面用密封部41介在于2个外壳分割体2A、2B间,通过其自身的弹性压缩将2个外壳分割体2A、2B间封闭。详细如图5所示,连接器主体用密封部42介在于封装外壳2与连接器主体部20间,通过其自身的弹性压缩将封装外壳2与连接器主体部20间封闭。详细如图6A所示,电线用密封部43介在于封装外壳2与电线W1的保护管25之间,通过其自身的弹性压缩将封装外壳2与电线W1的保护管25之间封闭。详细如图6B所示,内部电线用密封部44介在于两个内部隔板壁6与内部电线W2之间,通过其自身的弹性压缩将内部隔板壁6与内部电线W2之间封闭。
在上述构成的充电连接器1中,用外壳分割面用密封部41防止来自外壳分割体2A、2B间的间隙的浸水。另外,用连接器主体用密封部42防止从封装外壳2的连接器嵌合部突出孔9向连接器容纳室5的浸水。另外,用电线用密封部43防止从封装外壳2的电线贯通孔10向连接器容纳室5的浸水。另外,用内部电线用密封部44防止从封装外壳2内的电线贯通孔11向连接器容纳室5的浸水。这样,由于利用密封部件40阻止向封装外壳2内的连接器容纳室5(即连接器主体部20)的浸水,因此能够对连接器主体部20内的端子(未图示)进行防水。此处,密封部件40是单一元件,介在于2个外壳分割体2A、2B之间,并且组装在封装外壳2与连接器主体部20之间、和封装外壳2与电线W1之间。因此,与在各端子(未图示)的每一个上分别装载防水塞的情况相比,元件成本、组装成本等能够可以是低成本。另外,即使端子(未图示)的个数变多,成本也不会上升。如上所述,能够提供充电连接器1,其在为对端子(未图示)进行防水的构造的情况下,成本低。
在本实施方式中,密封部件40一体地具有内部电线用密封部44,但对于内部电线W2,也可以利用另外的密封部件来密封。
在本实施方式中,由于从连接器主体部20拉出的多根电线W1容纳在保护管25内,用电线用密封部43来封闭保护管25与封装外壳2间的间隙,因此能够容易封闭。多根电线W1也可以不容纳在保护管25中,在该情况下,用电线用密封部43将电线W1与封装外壳2间的间隙封闭。
在本实施方式中,仅对封装外壳2内的连接器容纳室5进行防水,但也可以将密封部件40构造为将封装外壳2与摆动的锁定臂30的间隙封闭,对连接器容纳室5和锁定臂容纳室4这两者进行防水。
这样,本发明当然包含此处没有记载的各种实施方式等。所以,本发明的保护范围根据上述说明由适当的权利要求所涉及的发明特定事项而决定。

1.一种充电连接器,其中,
所述充电连接器包括:
封装外壳,所述封装外壳包含2个外壳分割体,所述2个外壳分割体将相互的对接面彼此对接地组装,在组装状态下开口有连接器嵌合部突出孔和电线拉出孔;
连接器主体部,所述连接器主体部容纳在所述封装外壳内,所述连接器主体部具有从所述连接器嵌合部突出孔露出到所述封装外壳外的连接器嵌合部;及
密封部件,所述密封部件一体地具有:外壳分割面用密封部,所述外壳分割面用密封部沿着将容纳在所述封装外壳内的所述连接器主体部的部位包围的所述对接面的全周配置,介在于所述2个外壳分割体的所述对接面间;连接器主体用密封部,所述连接器主体用密封部沿着所述连接器嵌合部突出孔的全周配置,介在于所述封装外壳与所述连接器主体部间;及电线用密封部,所述电线用密封部沿着所述电线拉出孔的全周配置,介在于所述封装外壳、与被从所述连接器主体部拉出并从所述电线拉出孔导出到所述封装外壳外的电线之间,
所述密封部件由橡胶材料形成。
