Abstract

Description
本发明涉及基于高炉矿渣的用于建筑材料的粘合剂,并涉及制备此类粘合剂的方法,涉及包含所述粘合剂的砂浆或混凝土组合物,并还涉及它们的制备方法,并涉及由这些组合物获得的建筑材料。本发明还涉及消除或减少制造基于高炉矿渣的建筑材料的过程中散发的硫的气味的方法。
与水泥制造相关的大部分环境问题涉及制造水泥熟料,这需要脱碳、煅烧、烧结和加热的操作,特别是在大约1450℃的非常高的温度下。生产一吨波特兰水泥产生0.7至1吨的二氧化碳。
由此已经进行了许多尝试以减少水泥的碳足迹,目前设想的解决方案之一包括使用基于工业废料的替代原材料。有可能通过混入类似水泥的添加剂如飞灰、磨细的高炉矿渣、硅灰、偏高岭土、火山灰或天然火山灰以制造复合水泥(通常称为混合水泥),由此减少水泥的熟料含量。此类水泥特别描述在标准EN197-1中,该标准定义了27种普通水泥及其成分的规格。
由于高反应性,包含高炉矿渣的水泥是特别有利的。高炉矿渣是由铁矿石制造铸铁所获得的副产物;其对应于铁矿石的贫瘠的脉石,因密度差异从液体铸铁中分离。熔渣更轻,浮在液体铸铁浴上。高炉矿渣主要包含硅酸盐,以及较少量的硫化物。通过用高压下的空气或水射流突然冷却或骤冷熔融矿渣获得的玻璃化矿渣具有玻璃状结构。这使其能够开发水力性质:参考颗粒状炉渣,其粒子的直径小于5毫米。颗粒状炉渣可以在干燥后细磨并在水泥工业中使用。大部分磨细的高炉矿渣具有3800至4500 cm2/g(也表示为Blaine单位)的细度。
CEM II/A-S水泥,也称为波特兰高炉水泥,包含65重量%至94重量%的熟料和6重量%至35重量%的磨细的高炉矿渣。CEM III/A-B-C水泥或高炉水泥包含36%至95%的矿渣和5%至64%的熟料。近来进行的研究已经表明有可能用磨细的高炉矿渣取代超过95%的波特兰水泥,甚至使用该矿渣作为建筑材料用粘合剂。例如将提到专利FR-B-2 952 050和US-B-6409 820,它们描述了出色的基于磨细的高炉矿渣的粘合剂,其可以在“温和”条件下使用,也就是说无需使用高度碱性并因此其操作存在危险的活化体系。
硫存在于高炉矿渣中并由于制造铸铁的过程在还原性条件下发生而主要以硫化物形式存在。当高炉矿渣与酸环境接触时,可以释放硫化氢。众所周知的是这种含硫化合物具有令人不快的气味,令人想起臭鸡蛋,当其以高浓度存在时甚至会成为毒物。嗅觉检测阈值非常低,0.0005 ppm即可检测此类气体的存在,这相当于每间房间几个分子。致死限值为大约800 ppm。在建筑材料中从未达到过该浓度水平。但是,这种气味令人不快,因为其非常强烈并且在极低浓度下即可察觉。
因高炉矿渣中存在含硫化合物而造成的建筑材料中的另一已知问题涉及它们的特定颜色。在矿渣的水合过程中,其颜色发生变化,并从浅灰色变为蓝/绿色。根据最广泛接受的理论,这种变化可以解释为高炉矿渣中存在的含硫化合物与高炉矿渣中存在的钙盐首先反应形成硫化钙,其随后与矿渣中存在的铁和锰离子反应,形成具有强烈的蓝/绿色彩的多硫化物络合物。因其致密结构,这种着色通常视为具有良好反应性、品质和耐久性的混凝土的标志。这是由于,只要这些硫化物与大气中的氧接触,它们被氧化得到本身无色的亚硫酸盐或硫酸盐,并且这种变色不可逆地消失。在由非常致密的混凝土制成的结构中,绿色着色会保留在该结构核心处数年,由此表现出致密和不透气的结构。在大多数情况下,例如对于由矿渣基混凝土制成的接缝、砂浆或组件,这种变色完全不会令人烦恼。但是,存在某些应用,其中这种蓝色变色可能会产生问题。例如,在粘接游泳池瓷砖的情况下,常常存在过多材料可见的风险,例如勾缝砂浆。如果游泳池在勾缝后迅速装满水的话,空气氧化过程可能尚未完全,这种蓝/绿色可能保持永久可见,这会损害游泳池的美观。如果将新浇注的混凝土除去模板并且该混凝土过快地遭遇长时间降雨的话,也会遇到同样的问题。
专利申请WO 2012/083384和WO 2009/144141描述了包含锌基添加剂的矿渣基可固化组合物,所述锌基添加剂有可能改善和/或消除这种不合意的变色。在这些组合物中碱性活化化合物的存在是必不可少的。加速消除蓝/绿变色的其它解决方案由水泥制造商提出:它们包括用3%至10%的过氧化氢和浓度为3%至6%的漂白剂如次氯酸钠进行表面处理。
但是,这些解决方案不能消除硫存在导致的特性气味。
目前确实需要找到一种简单的解决方案以抑制或限制与基于磨细的高炉矿渣的粘合剂所释放的难闻气味有关的问题,并同时抑制或限制与这种变色有关的问题,当这些粘合剂作为唯一的粘合剂使用或与另一类型粘合剂混合使用时。这在本发明所属的范围内。
本发明涉及用于建筑材料的粘合剂,其包含至少:
- 磨细的高炉矿渣,和
- 至少一种选自铋、铜、银或锡盐的一价、二价或三价金属盐,该盐在与所述矿渣混合的过程中能够形成金属硫化物,该金属硫化物在25℃下测得的溶度积KSP小于10-10。
本发明的粘合剂可以有利地由以下组分组成:
- 磨细的高炉矿渣,和
- 至少一种选自铋、铜、银或锡盐的一价、二价或三价金属盐,该盐在与所述矿渣混合的过程中能够形成金属硫化物,该金属硫化物在25℃下测得的溶度积KSP小于10-10。
优选地,该金属硫化物在25℃下测得的溶度积KSP小于10-20。
加入上述金属盐能够有利地显著减少硫的气味,并限制这种类型的基于高炉矿渣的粘合剂所遭遇的变色问题。
该金属盐,当令其存在于基于高炉矿渣的粘合剂中时,与存在的含硫化合物反应形成硫化物络合物,该络合物将沉淀并保持为固体形式。获得的产物具有极低溶解度的事实使得能够以固体形式捕集导致难闻气味的化合物。
化合物的溶解度由溶度积表征,记为Ksp,其是对应于固体在溶剂中溶解的反应的平衡常数。
式AaBb的固体的溶解由以下反应描述:
AaBb(固体)aAb+(水溶液)+ bBa-(水溶液)。
当化合物AaBb为固体时,其活性系数等于1,水性介质中离子的活性类似于其以摩尔/升为单位的浓度。
溶度积Ksp由此以下列方式定义:
Ksp=[Ab+]a.[Ba-]b。
例如,在下表(表1)中给出了各种硫化物在25℃下测得的溶度积。

该表给出了简单含硫化合物的溶度积值;但是,多硫化物的溶度积值的数量级应保持不变。
令人惊讶地,本发明的发明人已经发现,通过添加特定的金属盐,通过与高炉矿渣的反应形成的相应的多硫化物在水中具有非常小的溶解度,这表征为非常低的溶度积值,有可能显著减少硫化氢的气味特性,并同时限制包含这种类型的矿渣的产品的变色。
该金属如铋、铜、汞和银已经显示是特别有效的。但是,由于毒性,不选择汞。
金属盐的量占矿渣量的0.02重量%至10重量%,优选0.05重量%至5重量%。
显而易见的是,需要相当低的金属盐量以显著减少这种难闻的气味。
通过略微提高盐的量,能够减少嗅觉问题,并同时防止变色问题。
所用的金属盐是硫酸盐、硝酸盐、氯化物、碳酸盐或氢氧化物。
其可以是固体形式或水溶液形式。
本发明的另一主题是制备如上所述的粘合剂的方法。
根据第一实施方案,当金属盐为固体形式时,该方法包括研磨玻璃化高炉矿渣的阶段,该阶段能够获得磨细的矿渣,可以在所述研磨阶段过程中或在此之后添加选自铋、铜、银、锡或钡盐的一价、二价或三价金属盐。
根据第二实施方案,当金属盐为固体形式时,其可以与离开高炉的熔融矿渣混合;获得的混合物随后通过骤冷凝固并随后研磨。
根据又一实施方案,将水溶液形式的金属盐与用于骤冷离开高炉的熔融矿渣的水流混合,获得产品,凝固,并随后研磨。
本发明还涉及消除或减轻制造基于高炉矿渣的建筑材料的过程中散发的硫的气味的方法,其中用于制造所述材料的粘合剂是上述粘合剂或根据所述方法制备的粘合剂。
本发明还涉及一种混凝土或砂浆组合物,包含至少:
- 基于磨细的高炉矿渣的粘合剂,
- 选自铋、铜、银或锡盐的一价、二价或三价金属盐,
- 骨料(granulats)、集料(agrégats)、填料和/或砂。
该混凝土或砂浆组合物可以包含一种或多种与基于磨细的高炉矿渣的粘合剂混合的其它水硬性粘合剂。
该组合物中存在的金属盐的量相对于该矿渣基粘合剂的量为0.02重量%至10重量%,优选为0.05重量%至5重量%,更优选为0.2%重量%至0.5重量%。
该组合物可以附加地包含活化剂,即包含至少一种意在改善该粘合剂的凝固和/或固化的化合物的体系。该活化剂选自碱性活化剂,如消石灰、氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾、硅酸钠或硅酸钾,硫酸盐类型的活化剂,如硫酸钙,和/或基于矿渣微粒的活化剂。优选地,该活化剂选自硫酸盐类型的活化剂,如硫酸钙,和/或基于矿渣微粒的活化剂。这是由于这些类型的活化剂的操作不那么危险,能够在温和条件下进行。活化剂的含量可以为组合物总重量的1重量%至10重量%。
该组合物还可以包含赋予特定性质的添加剂。例如提及流变剂、保水剂、引气剂、增稠剂、杀菌防护剂、分散剂、颜料、促进剂和/或缓凝剂,或聚合树脂。添加剂的含量可以为组合物总重量的0.1重量%至10重量%。
有利地,本发明的砂浆或混凝土组合物中矿渣量对水硬性粘合剂量的重量比为20/80至100/0。
水硬性粘合剂是波特兰水泥、高铝水泥、硫铝酸盐水泥、贝利特水泥或由任选包含飞灰、气相二氧化硅、石灰石、煅烧的片岩和/或天然或煅烧火山灰的火山灰混合物形成的水泥。
该组合物包含骨料、集料、填料和/或砂,并根据骨料的尺寸通常称为砂浆或混凝土。这些化合物特别改变产品的流变性、硬度或最终外观。它们通常由基于二氧化硅、石灰石和/或二氧化硅/石灰石的沙子构成。该填料是石灰石或二氧化硅组分。该组合物中此类骨料、集料、填料和/或砂的含量相对于该组合物的总重量可以为最高90重量%,优选为20重量%至80重量%,更优选为50重量%至70重量%。
本发明还涉及用于制备如上所述的混凝土或砂浆组合物的方法。
根据第一实施方案,该方法包括根据上述制备方法制备基于磨细的高炉矿渣的粘合剂的阶段,以及随后将所述粘合剂与骨料、砂、填料和/或集料以及任选与一种或多种水硬性粘合剂、活化剂和添加剂混合的阶段。由此,在与该砂浆或混凝土组合物的其它成分混合之前用该金属盐制备该矿渣-基粘合剂。
根据另一实施方案,可以设想在砂浆或混凝土组合物的制备过程中直接添加该金属盐。在这种情况下,该制备方法包括将磨细的高炉矿渣与砂、集料、填料和/或骨料,如果适当的话还与水硬性粘合剂、添加剂和/或活化剂混合的阶段,固体形式的金属盐在混合阶段过程中添加。
根据另一实施方案,用于制备砂浆或水泥组合物的方法包括制备即用型砂浆或混凝土的阶段,其包括将磨细的高炉矿渣与砂、集料、填料和/或骨料,如果适当的话还与水硬性粘合剂、添加剂和/或活化剂混合,以及随后的与水混合的阶段,该金属盐在该混合阶段过程中或在此之后添加。
有利地,该金属盐,当其存在于水溶液中时,与存在于砂浆或水泥组合物中的液体添加剂混合或与混合水混合。
本发明的另一主题是由上述组合物获得或通过所述方法制备的建筑材料,如混凝土、预制部件(blocs de construction)、片材、涂料、花砖胶粘剂、砂浆层或地板。
该铋、铜、汞和银盐在该方法的实施中是特别优选的。金属盐的量占矿渣量的0.02重量%至10重量%。优选地,该盐的量为0.05重量%至5重量%。
由此可以显著地减轻硫的难闻气味。该金属盐选自硫酸盐、硝酸盐、氯化物、碳酸盐或氢氧化物。
实施例
对两种不同的砂浆组合物进行了测试,所述砂浆组合物包含以下组分作为粘合剂:
- 95重量%的磨细的高炉矿渣和5重量%的波特兰水泥的混合物,或
- 50重量%的磨细的高炉矿渣和50重量%的波特兰水泥的混合物。
在将这些粘合剂与砂浆组合物的其它成分混合的过程中,将不同的金属盐添加到这些组合物中。
测试了下列盐:硫酸铋、硫酸铜、硝酸铜、硝酸银和硫酸锡。
结果表明,一旦在砂浆组合物中存在相对于磨细的高炉矿渣的0.05%的计量量的金属盐,显著地减轻了气味。
以下列方式分类该盐的效力:
Bi2(SO4)3> CuSO4~CuNO3>AgNO3>SnSO4。
铋、铜、银和锡的多硫化物的溶度积小于10-10。
用两种铜盐获得的等效结果表明,抗衡离子(分别为硫酸根或硝酸根)对观察到的效果没有影响。
为了比较,一方面以无水形式加入硫酸铜,另一方面以五水合物形式加入硫酸铜。对于这些不同的形式并未观察到差异:对气味的效果保持一致。
当铋或铜金属盐相对于磨细的高炉矿渣以0.1重量%至0.5重量%的量加入时在效力方面获得了最佳结果。
当加入大于0.5%的量时,应注意的是,对气味的效果不再提高,但是这些量使得能够限制在磨细的高炉矿渣水合过程中常规观察到的蓝/绿变色的问题。
包含该金属盐的砂浆组合物立即或在水下一天或几天后储存,这可以防止氧化,观察它们的颜色并与不含金属盐的参比样品进行比较。
在防止变色的效力方面,可以以下列方式分类受试的盐:
Bi2(SO4)3~ CuSO4~CuNO3~Cu(OH)2>SnSO4。
获得的结果表明,当引入的盐的量相对于磨细的高炉矿渣重量为2重量%至5重量%时,铋盐和铜盐是高度有效的,即使对于在水下的应用也如此。
Claims (19)
1.用于建筑材料的粘合剂,其特征在于其包含至少:
- 磨细的高炉矿渣,和
- 至少一种一价、二价或三价金属盐,选自铋或银的硫酸盐、硝酸盐、氯化物、碳酸盐或氢氧化物,以及铜的硫酸盐、硝酸盐、碳酸盐或氢氧化物,该盐在与所述矿渣混合的过程中能够形成金属硫化物,该金属硫化物在25℃下测得的溶度积KSP小于10-10,其中金属盐的量占矿渣量的0.05重量%至5重量%。

17.制备如权利要求8至14之一所要求保护的组合物的方法,其特征在于其包括将磨细的高炉矿渣与骨料、集料、填料和/或砂并任选与一种或多种水硬性粘合剂、活化剂和添加剂混合的阶段,以及随后的与水混合的阶段,该金属盐在该混合阶段过程中或在混合阶段之后添加。
18.一种建筑材料,其由权利要求8至14之一所要求保护的砂浆或混凝土组合物获得。
