Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于清洁在燃烧发动机的操作过程中排出的流体的设备。
背景技术
例如燃烧汽油、柴油或生物燃料的IC发动机等发动机输出多种有害物质,这些有害物质必须被处理以满足当前和将来的排放法规。最常见的这些物质包括碳氢化合物(HC)、一氧化碳(CO)、单氮氧化物(NOX)和诸如作为煤烟的组分的碳(C)等颗粒物质。这些物质中的一些可以通过仔细地控制发动机的运行状况来减少,但通常必须在发动机的下游提供排放物清洁模块以处理排气中夹带的至少一些这些物质。用于减少和/或消除排放物中的组分的多种设备是已知的。例如,已知提供一种氧化装置,诸如柴油氧化催化剂,以减少或消除碳氢化合物(HC)和/或一氧化碳(CO)。氧化装置通常包括将这些物质转化为有害程度显著降低的二氧化碳和水的催化剂。作为进一步的例子,排放物清洁模块可以包括颗粒过滤器以限制排气中存在的颗粒输出至大气。
通过使用排放物清洁模块,发动机排放物能够被清洁,意味着否则将释放至大气的一定比例的有害物质替代地转化为二氧化碳(CO2)、氮气(N2)和水(H2O)。
在颗粒过滤器中收集的诸如煤烟等残余物必须一次一次地移除以保持颗粒过滤器的效率。可以从颗粒过滤器移除诸如煤烟等残余物的一种方法被称作再生,其中,颗粒过滤器的温度上升使得诸如煤烟等残余物从颗粒过滤器烧除。但是,这导致烟灰沉积在颗粒过滤器中,其可能需要在排放物清洁模块的使用寿命过程中移除。
还已知利用诸如用压缩空气冲洗等物理清洁技术来清洁颗粒过滤器。US6632406描述了一种污染物移除装置,其具有在颗粒过滤器下游的相对小的服务端口。压缩空气可以喷射到服务端口中,以试图从颗粒过滤器冲洗残余物。
期望的是,排放物清洁模块具有紧凑尺寸以便最小化在车辆中所占的空间。但是,利用紧凑结构可能导致难以利用物理清洁技术来清洁颗粒过滤器。
针对该背景,提供一种排放物清洁模块和清洁颗粒过滤器的残余物的方法。
发明内容
本发明提供一种排放物清洁模块,包括:
第一导管,其包括入口和出口并且包含颗粒过滤器;
第二导管,其包括入口和出口;和
端部联接器,其将第一导管的出口流体地连接至第二导管的入口;
其中,该端部联接器设有清洁端口,该清洁端口包括封闭端部联接器中的开孔的罩。
本发明还提供一种清洁容纳在排放物清洁模块中的颗粒过滤器的方法,该排放物清洁模块包括:
第一导管,其包括入口和出口并且包含颗粒过滤器;
第二导管,其包括入口和出口;和
端部联接器,其至少部分地将第一导管的出口流体地连接至第二导管的入口;
该方法包括以下步骤:
a)在端部联接器中提供清洁端口;
b)打开清洁端口;
c)将清洁流体通过清洁端口输入到与颗粒过滤器的端面接触;
d)回收颗粒过滤器的残余物;以及
e)封闭清洁端口。

具体实施方式
图1中图示排放物清洁模块1。
排放物清洁模块1包括第一导管10和第二导管20。第三导管30和支承结构40也可以存在。支承结构40可以包括第一支承构件50和第二支承构件60。
每个支承构件50、60可以是大致平坦的并且可以由例如金属等刚性材料制成。
第一导管10、第二导管20和第三导管30可以是细长的,具有细长轴线,并且可以具有沿着细长轴线基本上恒定的横截面。第一导管10、第二导管20和第三导管30可以是基本柱形的。
第一导管10包括提供到导管的入口的第一端11和提供到导管的出口的第二端12。第二导管20包括提供到导管的出口的第一端21和提供到导管的入口的第二端22。第三导管30可以包括提供到导管的入口的第一端31和提供到导管的出口的第二端。
导管10、20、30可以在支承构件50、60之间延伸。导管10、20、30可以是基本上大致平行的。第一导管10、第二导管20和第三导管30的第一端11、21、31可以分别接收在第一支承构件50的第一开口51、第二开口52和第三开口53中,并且可以成形为分别对应于第一支承构件50的第一开口51、第二开口52和第三开口53。第一导管10、第二导管20和第三导管30的第二端12、22可以分别接收在第二支承构件60的第一开口61、第二开口62和第三开口63中,并且可以成形为分别对应于第二支承构件60的第一开口61、第二开口62和第三开口63。通过这种设置,可以限制导管的侧向运动。
如图2中所示,每个开口51、52、53、61、62、63可以包括围绕开口的周边延伸的凸缘51a、52a、53a、61a、62a、63a。每个支承构件50、60还可以包括围绕支承构件50、60的周边的至少中途延伸的向内翻转的唇缘59、69。
导管10、20、30均可以具有基本相似的长度。第一导管10可以具有第一直径,第二导管20可以具有第二直径并且第三导管30可以具有第三直径。第二直径可以比第一直径和第三直径小。
导管10、20、30的第一端和第二端11、21、31、12、22可以焊接、粘接或以其它方式紧固至支承构件50、60的限定或围绕开口的部分。替代地,导管10、20、30的第一端和第二端11、21、31、12、22可以邻接支承构件50、60的内侧,以便覆盖支承构件50、60中的相应开口。
第一、第二和第三导管10、20、30和第一和第二支承构件50、60可以以限制这些部件的相对平移运动的方式相互连接。替代地或另外,第一、第二和第三导管10、20、30和第一和第二支承构件50、60可以以限制一部件相对于另一部件的旋转运动的方式相互连接。
第一导管10经由第一端部联接器15流体地联接至第二导管20,该第一端部联接器15将第一导管10的出口流体地连接至第二导管20的入口。第一端部联接器15可以包括喷射器模块16。第二导管20可以经由第二端部联接器(未示出)联接至第三导管30,该第二端部联接器用于将第二导管20的出口流体地连接至第三导管30的入口。第一端部联接器和第二端部联接器中的每个可以结合其对应的支承构件限定流体流动路径,排气可以经过该流体流动路径在相邻的导管之间通过。
在排放物清洁模块的流体流动路径内可以定位有柴油氧化催化(DOC)模块、柴油颗粒过滤器(DPF)模块170、喷射器模块16、混合器模块、选择催化还原(SCR)模块和氨氧化催化(AMOX)模块。
DOC模块可以朝向第一导管10的第一(入口)端11定位在第一导管10的第一部分中。DPF模块170可以朝向第一导管10的第二(出口)端12定位在第一导管10的第二部分中。第一端部联接器15可以提供从第一导管12的第二端12到第二导管20的第二端22的流体流动路径。
混合器模块可以位于第二导管20中。混合器模块可以被构造成将由喷射器模块16喷射的流体与来自第一导管10的流体混合。混合器模块可以包括多个特征,诸如散置的翅片,其可以引起喷射的流体与来自第一导管10的流体的均匀混合。第二端部联接器可以提供从第二导管的第一端21到第三导管30的第一端31的流体流动路径。
SCR模块可以朝向第三导管30的第一端31定位在第三导管30的第一部分中。SCR模块可以包括意于催化在混合器模块中混合并且由扩散器输出的两种流体之间发生反应的催化表面。AMOX模块可以都朝向第三导管30的第二端定位在第三导管30的第二部分中。AMOX模块可以包括催化剂,其可以催化从SCR模块输出的一种或多种产品的反应。
如图3所示,第一端部联接器15可以包括壳体80,清洁端口可以设置在壳体80中。清洁端口可以包括开孔,该开孔可以由罩90封闭。在如图4中所示的平面图中,壳体80可以具有大致泪滴形状。壳体80可以包括围绕壳体80的下边缘的周边的固定凸缘83。壳体80可以通过将固定凸缘83焊接至支承构件60的面来紧固至支承构件60。壳体80可以是大致拱凸形并且可以具有壁区段81,该壁区段81可以远离固定凸缘83延伸。限定清洁端口的开孔可以位于壁区段81中。壳体80可以设有开孔凸缘82,其可以从限定开孔的壁区段81的边缘直立。如图5所示,开孔凸缘82可以相对于开孔的中心轴线向外倾斜。壳体80中的开孔可以是圆形的。替代地,其可以除了一个或多个平坦部140以外是大致圆形的。开孔凸缘82的形状基本上对应于开孔的形状,并且在本例子中是大致环形的。
罩90可以包括盖区段91,其可以具有略微拱凸的形状,如图4所示。罩90可以具有被构造成与壳体80中的开孔的形状匹配的形状。因此,在壳体80中的开孔除了一个或多个平坦部140以外是大致圆形的情况下,罩90也将除了一个或多个平坦部150以外是大致圆形的,如图4所示。平坦部140、150可以有助于罩90在壳体80内的定向。拱凸的轮廓可以被选择为与壁区段81的轮廓对应,以便不干扰第一端部联接器中的排放流。
直立的罩凸缘92可以设置在罩90的周边边缘处。直立的罩凸缘92也可以相对于开孔的中心轴线向外倾斜,使得锥度匹配壳体80的开孔凸缘82的朝外锥度。因此,在将罩90布置到壳体80中形成的开孔中时,开孔凸缘82和罩凸缘92可以以面对面布置彼此接触。开孔凸缘82和罩凸缘92的锥形可以有助于防止罩90通过开孔。
锚固点100可以设置在罩90上,优选地在罩90的外面上。锚固点100可以是螺母的形式,其可以焊接至罩90。锚固点100可以在开孔的中心轴线上或附近定位在罩90的中心处或附近。
壳体80还可以提供用于喷射器模块16的安装。
在第一端部联接器15的初始组装时,壳体80可以形成并且罩90可以接合在由开孔凸缘82形成的开孔中。如图5所示,可以是焊接形式的固定120可以应用于直立的开孔凸缘82的边缘88和直立的罩凸缘92的边缘93之间,以将罩90以固定和可能密封的方式结合至壳体80。第一端部联接器15接着可以通过将固定凸缘83焊接至第二支承构件60来组装第二支承构件60。壳体80的大端可以设置在第一导管10的开口61上方,并且壳体80的小端可以设置在第二导管20的开口62上方。
在使用中,流体可以经由入口供应至排放物清洁模块1。流体可以通入第一导管10的第一部分中的DOC模块中。在入口处接收之前,流体的压强可以通过背压阀或发动机操作参数来控制。
DOC模块170可以包括一个或多个催化剂,诸如钯或铂。这些材料用作催化剂以使流体流中存在的碳氢化合物(HC)和一氧化碳(CO)氧化,以产生二氧化碳(CO2)和水(H2O)。催化剂可以以使催化剂材料的表面面积最大化的方式分布,以便增加催化反应中的催化剂的有效性。
流体可以从DOC模块流至DPF模块170,DPF模块包括意于阻止煤烟形式的碳(C)继续通过的特征。流体中的碳颗粒由此可以捕获在过滤器中。过滤器可以通过已知的再生技术再生。这些技术可以涉及控制流体的温度、流体的压强和流体中的未燃烧燃料的比例中的一种或多种。再生还可以通过在DPF模块170的上游使用燃烧器来执行。
流体可以从DOC模块170通过位于第一端部联接器15内的喷射器模块16。喷射器模块16可以与泵电子槽单元(PETU)相关联或者可以附接至泵电子槽单元(PETU)。泵电子槽单元可以包括用于提供由喷射器喷射的流体的容器的槽。这种流体可以包括尿素或氨。槽可以包括具有第一横截面区域的下部和具有第二横截面区域的上部。第二横截面区域可以小于第一横截面区域。第一部分和第二部分之间的横截面区域的差可以提供用以容纳PETU的附加部件的容积。这可以比如果部件简单地附接至槽的另外的外表面提供更好的保护。
PETU还可以包括控制器,其构造为控制由喷射器从槽喷射的流体的体积。控制器可以具有作为输入的例如可以从SCR模块中的传感器导出的温度信息和NOX量的信息。
流体可以从喷射器模块16通入位于第二导管20中的混合器模块中。混合器模块可以包括用于确保源自第一导管10的流体与源自喷射器16的流体良好混合的特征。
流体可以经由第二端部联接器从喷射器模块16通入位于第三导管的第一部分中的SCR模块中。SCR模块可以包括一个或多个催化剂,排气和尿素/氨的混合物可以流动经过催化剂。随着混合物通过催化剂的表面,可以发生从氨和NOX转化为双原子氮(N2)和水(H2O)的反应。
流体可以从SCR模块通至位于第三导管30的第二部分中的AMOX模块。AMOX模块可以包括氧化催化剂,其可以使离开SCR模块的流体中存在的残余氨反应以产生氮气(N2)和水(H2O)。
流体可以从AMOX模块通至位于第三导管30的第二端处的排放物清洁模块出口。
适时,可能必须执行在DPF模块170上的清洁操作。在许多再生事件之后可能需要清洁操作并且大量的烟灰收集在DPF模块170或导管中。清洁操作可以包括使用压缩空气吹风机110将具有能量的空气射流111引导到DPF模块170的下游端面172上,这可以用以驱逐颗粒物质/烟灰的积聚的一些或全部。
为了执行清洁操作,可以打开清洁端口。为了打开清洁端口,可以通过适当的程序移除固定120。在固定120是焊接的情况中,程序可以涉及切割、研磨或另外适当的机构。现在可以移除罩90。通过使用锚固点100可以辅助移除。例如,螺杆可以拧到锚固点100并且操纵螺杆来移除罩90。
如能够在图6中看到的,通过移除罩90,开孔提供压缩空气吹风机110插入第一导管10内与DPF模块170的端表面接近的途径。压缩空气吹风机110紧密接近DPF模块170可以增大清洁操作的效率。优选地,开孔的直径足够大以允许空气射流111到达DPF模块170的端表面172的直径171的至少90%。更优选地,开孔的直径足够大以允许空气射流111到达DPF模块170的整个端表面172。可以将烟灰吹动经过整个导管并且经过入口移除。
在完成清洁操作时,可以例如通过将罩90重焊至壳体80来更换开孔内的罩90并且应用新的固定120,从而将清洁端口重新封装。
工业实用性
本发明提供一种排放物清洁模块和清洁颗粒过滤器的残余物的方法。在将第一导管的出口流体地连接至第二导管的入口的端部联接器中提供清洁端口允许排放物清洁模块的接近和清洁得以改进。
Claims (17)
1.一种排放物清洁模块,包括:
第一导管,其包括入口和出口并且包含颗粒过滤器;
第二导管,其包括入口和出口;和
端部联接器,其将第一导管的出口流体地连接至第二导管的入口;
其中,该端部联接器设有清洁端口,该清洁端口包括封闭端部联接器中的开孔的罩。
2.根据权利要求1所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,开孔至少部分地覆盖第一导管以提供到颗粒过滤器的路径。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,开孔的尺寸允许压缩空气吹风机接近颗粒过滤器的端面的至少90%。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,开孔的直径为颗粒过滤器的直径的至少90%。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,开孔由开孔凸缘环绕,并且开孔凸缘的内面朝外倾斜。
6.根据权利要求5所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,罩包括罩凸缘,该罩凸缘的锥度与开孔凸缘的锥度匹配。
7.根据权利要求5或权利要求6所述的排放物清洁模块,其中,开孔凸缘为圆形。
