背景技术
许多种类的产品都包装于气密(封装)包装内,以增加产品的架上寿命、确保产品品质以及/或维持卫生条件,这些产品从食品、饮料、医疗用品、电子用品,以及药品、液体、固体、气体或结合上述性质的产品都有。封装程序的关键部分在于确保高品质的包装封装,此处所谓的品质由其取决于气密程度,但也可能与其他方面因素相关,例如内含物、包装强度与视觉外观。当封装(包装封接线)不符合设定的品质要求时,特别是当封装并非气密时,包装内产品很快就会劣质化,产生与微生物相关的安全问题进而危害消费者的健康。封装品质不足是封装产业的常见问题,由于此问题影响了消费者的安全问题,也对于一般消费者的市场行为有所影响,封装产业对于此问题尤其敏感,而针对包装个别监督又常是耗费时间与成本的做法。
发明内容
本发明的目的之一是提供一种检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的装置。
本发明为上述目的提供如前言所述的装置,其中包括:至少一距离感应器,用以测量至少二可移动式夹件之间的距离,借以使两者相互按压,以将金属箔附着于包装的另一部分上;以及至少一控制单元,连接于至少一距离感应器上,以将由距离感应器所收集的测量值与二夹件相互靠近时于移动时间内所预定义的测量值比较。借助测量该些夹件间的实际距离并与代表的参考值做为封装过程中时间函数进程的功能,基于夹件的相对移动速度是受控制单元所决定,可以在封装过程中快速、精确又可靠地检测出瑕疵。当空气、液体以及/或固体粒子被封于金属箔与包装其他部位之间时,所测得夹件之间的距离会大于或至少不同于预定义数值,借此可检测出内含物并测定出封装瑕疵(的严重性)。瑕疵于此的严重性常与所测定距离与参考数值得差异程度。测量夹件的相对移动速度,或至少利用计算来测定,还可借此监测并测定金属箔与包装其他部位的熔接情形,此作法通常需要用到同一金属箔的其他部分。在将两包装部件熔接时,夹件间的相对移动速度会瞬间且强烈的增加,此可利用本发明的装置来轻易测定,而这也是代表包装中封装程度的指标。故,此测定可能进行的条件为,于夹件相互靠近时将夹件间的距离作为时间的函数而连续性或间断性测量,并以夹件相互靠近时,夹件的相对移动速度得以测定为前提。为此目的,只测量夹件间的距离并选择性将测得距离与参照数值比对,经证实是不足的。测定夹件间的距离需要利用一至多具距离感应器。这些距离感应器是用来测量至少一夹件与参照位置间的相对距离,其中该参照位置可设为一(相对)夹件,借此直接测量夹件间的距离。当该参照位置为一不动元件时,夹件间的距离会通过间接测量(通过该参照位置),本发明提供的该装置的第一实施例即是一用于控制含箔包装封装品质的检测装置。该装置可整合至一条现存的包装线中,而亦可设想该装置作为一现存包装线上的共同作业模组(可拆卸)。该控制单元亦可视为资料处理单元,因为该控制单元是特别用于处理测定后的测量值。
于本发明装置的较佳实施例中,该装置包括一信号产生器,其连接至该控制单元,以于该控制单元判定至少一测定值超过至少一参照值时产生一信号,该信号于此可为电子、声音以及/或视觉性质。该信号通常具有警示该装置使用者有一加工完成的封装具有一项以上的瑕疵,使该使用者可选择性将瑕疵包装自生产线上移除。该控制单元于此可于测定值超过一参照值时,即刻驱动该信号产生器,不过亦可能设为该控制单元仅于测定值超越该参照值达到一预定义绝对值或相对(误差)数值范围时,再行驱动该信号产生器。
夹件间的距离是于至少一靠近过程中受到监测,其中该测量值是用以与靠近过程中的预定义参照值比对,于此可监测整个靠近过程,但较建议的作法是只在靠近过程中的特定关键时段加以监测,此作法的优点在于,在靠近过程中,该些夹件是自(完全)开放位置朝彼此移动,并具有一长达x秒的期间,其中该些夹件之间的距离是于0.2x至5x秒之间,特别是于0.4x与2x秒之间,更精确者是于0.4x与x秒之间进行测量。此代表收集并比对测量值与参照值的时点是在整体靠近过程中最后80%或60%的时段中进行。亦可能将上述关键时段改为非依照时间判定,而是以整体流程的进程来决定,此方法于此可适用于靠近过程,其中该些夹件是自一开放位置朝彼此靠近,其具有一进程y,其中该些夹件间的距离是至少于0.2y以及y之间,特别是于0.6y以及y之间进行测量。此代表收集并比对测量值与参照值的时件是在整体过程中最后80%或40%的时段中进行。该测量值可连续或间断性收集,当间断性收集测量值时,一测量值是于前次收集测量值后的一短期间内再次收集(几毫秒或更短期间),所有测量值结果可形成一测量曲线,并以图像显示于与该控制单元连接的屏幕上;由参照值形成的一参照曲线亦可显示于该屏幕上,通常会与实际测量曲线一同显示。当使用热封方法时,通常会在测量曲线上出现骤升线条(间断),为温度达到足够高温时,金属箔部分瞬间软化并附着于其他部分所造成的结果,该些夹件即刻快速地朝向彼此靠近。于夹件靠近期间检测此间断现象通常有其效益,因为若预估的间断变化并未出现,通常代表该次封装出现瑕疵,于封装完成后,该封装中的不平整现象,例如有气泡等,可选择性利用红外线摄影机或其他类型的检测元件来检测,借此进一步测定封装品质。
虽然亦可能设为将至少一距离感应器定位于该些夹件之间,或精确而言定位于其上,但通常使至少一距离感应器适于与其一夹件相互结合,借此量测的距离将极为精确。多种距离感应器都适用于本发明所揭示的装置;由于封装中即使是微小的变数(瑕疵)都应该要检测出来,所以较佳者是使用精确度较高的距离感应器(以微米为计算单位)。此处非限定性地可用感应器为涡流感应器、光学感应器以及电容室感应器。亦可能设为至少一距离感应器具有负数组双边共同运作的感应部分。在一实施例中,该至少一距离感应器于此包括至少一主动感应器部分与至少一被动感应器部分。主动感应器部分将于此产生辐射发散,特别为电磁波以及/或一场域,尤其是为一电场以及/或磁场,其中该被动感应器部分是用于反射以及/或干扰借此所产生的辐射以及/或场域。当该距离感应器为一光学感应器时,该主动感应器部分包括一光源,该被动感应器部分包括至少一反射器,以反射主动感应器部分所发出的光束。
于一较佳实施例中,该装置包括至少二夹件,以彼此将金属箔与包装另一部分相互按压,并使包装受金属箔所附着。当该距离感应器包括多个感应部分时,可使其中一夹件具有至少一第一感应器部分,并使相对的另一夹件具有至少一第二部分。此处建议测量相对夹件上相对外端之间的距离,无论何种距离感应器皆可,较佳者是该装置包括多个距离感应器,以测定该些夹件上不同相对部分之间的距离。该些夹件间的距离可以借此以固定位置的方式来测定,此方式可进一步提升该装置的准确度。在一特定实施例中,该二外端皆具有至少一夹件,并配设至少一距离感应器。
该包装另一部分可为不同性质的,例如可为具有一金属箔并需要封装的一瓶子或其他种类容器。本发明所揭示的装置通常可用于封装金属箔包装的装置(包装机)之中以及/或之上,其中该包装的另一部分是由一(其他)金属箔部分所形成;亦可能将本发明所揭示的装置整合为封装装置的一部分。故,该至少二夹件可被利用以将包装二金属箔部分相互按压并相互附着,以形成气密程度极佳的封装。该些夹件于此通常为夹条,亦可为熔接条;该夹条于此实质上为线性延伸,该些夹件的相对接面可呈现至少部分近似剖面形状,一般可借此提升欲形成封装的品质。依照包装的类型而定,亦可将夹件改为非线性形式,特别是改为曲线型或角型。
用于封装的金属箔通常厚度(单层)介于10至2000微米之间,特别是介于20至2000微米之间,依照该金属箔以及封装种类的材质而定。该封装可以将材料以熔接方式,举例而言,利用瞬间高温(热封)、超音波辐射、电场以及/或利用接着剂(冷封)的效果形成。
于较佳实施例中,该装置包括移动手段,以使该些夹件得以相对移动,特别是于一开放位置,亦即于该些夹件间放置待封装包装的位置,以及夹件靠近位置,亦即该些夹件封装该包装的位置间移动。该至少一夹件的相对移动手段与相对另一夹件的移动手段可能为不同性质,于此可将移动手段运作方式设为,举例而言,气动式、液压式以及/或电动机械式。于一般情况中,该移动手段是用于施以一介于4至6巴单位的压力于该些夹件上,借此可制作出可靠的气密封装。可利用上数控制单元来控制该移动手段;或者,亦可能利用一独立控制单元以控制该移动手段,而该独立控制单元,举例而言,可经整合配设为包装线上的一部分。当该移动手段,或较佳情况下,当该些夹件成为本发明所揭示装置的整体部分时,该装置亦适合用于封装包装。
于一较佳实施例中,该装置包括一加热手段,用以加热其中一或所有夹件,借此,该金属箔将可软化并与包装另一部分熔接,特别是亦由一金属箔所构成的部分,以形成一气密封装。这类封装方法亦称为热封。
本发明亦与一种于含金属箔包装封装时检测瑕疵的方法有关,特指利用本发明所揭示的装置进行检测,其步骤包含:A)将一金属箔与包装另一欲与该金属箔结合的部分置于至少两夹件之间;B)将该些夹件朝彼此移动,其中可形成该金属箔与该包装另一部分的相互连接;C)将该些夹件彼此分开;以及D)将该包装自夹件上移开,其中于该些夹件进行步骤B)的期间测定该些夹件彼此之间的距离,其中并将收集到的测量值与预定义的参照值进行比对。该方法的优点已于前叙明。
于一较佳实施例中,该方法包括一步骤E),包括当至少一受检测的测量值超越至少一参照值时,产生一信号。信号的产生可于参照值被超越时立即发生,或可于参照值被超越达一绝对值或相对(误差)数值范围时发生,亦可设为当多个测量值超越相对应参照值时才产生信号,故测量值偶然所出现的变数不会立刻导致信号产生。该信号可为电子、声音以及/或视觉性质,并可以将信息展示于一屏幕上的方式来表现。在步骤A)中,该包装另一部分通常是由一金属箔形成,借此实质上制成一金属箔封装,该封装于此可以加热方式熔接,亦可以胶接方式形成。当施以热度以形成封装时,至少一夹件会于步骤B)中加热至,一般而言,摄氏90至200度之间。施于夹件上并传递至该金属箔与包装另一部分上的一适宜压力,较佳强度介于4至6巴之间。该些夹件靠近的过程期间,亦即该些夹件自开放位置移动至完全闭合位置为止,时间长度介于1毫秒至5秒之间。
该靠近过程,根据步骤B),其中该些夹件自一开放位置移动并彼此靠近,具有一x秒的期间,其中夹件之间所测得的距离是介于0.2x至5x之间,更精确而言,是介于0.4x至4x秒之间。或者,亦可以靠近过程为基准,其中该些夹件自一开放位置根据步骤B)而朝彼此移动时,具有一进程y,其中夹件之间的距离经测量是介于0.2y至y之间,更精确而言,介于0.6y至y之间。尤其,靠近过程的关键时段即是以此方式监测。尤其,当制成热封时,夹件于片刻间的相对移动将使金属箔急速充分软化,使夹件可进一步移动,借此确实制成封装。夹件于此刻间的移动可于由测量值所构成的测量曲线图上明显呈现间断(弯折)线条,通常即可判定该次热封的品质。若未检测出夹件在预期中的片刻骤升线条,亦可产生一告知信息,故只消一瞥即可得知该热封形成的品质。
当热封制成后,可制作该热封的红外线图像(步骤F),以进行后续检查,借此可立刻清楚发现可能的缺陷(瑕疵)。一红外线摄影机可用于制作出红外线影像,亦可能利用其他方式以进行后续检查。

具体实施方式
图1是为一示意图,表示本发明所揭示装置1的使用方法,该装置1是用于封装(气密)一洋芋片包装2,已装有洋芋片的洋芋片包装2具有为封装而至于二相对可移动夹条4a,4b的一开放外端3,夹条4a,4b于外端具有二距离感应器5,6,其中每一距离感应器皆具有一主动感应器部分5与相对的一被动感应器部分6,以准确测量夹条4a,4b之间的距离d,该主动感应器部分5于此可包括一光源,该被动感应器部分6则可包括一反射器。夹条4a,4b可用以经过加热,并借此制成封装(热封)2a。夹条4a,4b是为此加热目的而相互连接(未见于图)。夹条4a,4b的细部进一步以图2表示,至少一夹条4b是连接于一电子马达7,此电子马达7再连接于一控制单元8以监测熔接过程的程序。每一距离感应器5的该主动感应器部分5亦连接于该控制单元,以处理由距离感应器5,6所收集而来的测量数值。控制单元进一步连接至一屏幕9,借此将收集到的测量数值以测量曲线图10方式表达。封装2a的品质可借助于夹条4a,4b相互靠近期间针对夹条4a,4b之间的距离d测量一段时间来加以判定,其中洋芋片包装2的金属箔层是向彼此挤压。当所测得的距离d与预定义作为时间函数以及/或进程2的参照值(可为多个数值)之间具有显著差异时,可能代表封装内含有空气、液体或固体物质,此类物质常对封装2a品质造成负面影响。若该预定义值正好被超出或被超出于极小范围外,即会产生一信号代表该封装有一个或多个瑕疵。在封装2a制成后,该洋芋片包装2即受到封闭,封装2a就可利用接于控制单元8上的红外线设备11接受检查。借助制作封装2a的红外线图像,倘若有瑕疵存在,可以更加精确地呈现出封装2a的何处出现瑕疵。夹条4a,4b以及电子马达7并非必要形成本发明所揭示装置1的一部份,而亦可,例如,形成现存包装线的一部份。亦可且常为较佳者,使距离感应器5,6连接于其自身的控制单元,故可于该控制单元8之外成为另一控制单元,用以控制电子马达7以及夹条4a,4b,借此可提供一模组检测装置,并可作为一模组单元利用于近似的包装线上。
图2是为一示意图,表示由夹条4a,4b与连接至夹件的主动感应器部分5及被动感应器部分6所形成的一组件,其中每对主动感应器部分与被动感应器部分形成一距离感应器,可用于装置1之中,如图1所示。一涡流感应器可作为主动感应器部分5使用。图2清楚表示出夹条4a,4b的相对接面13呈现如断面轮廓,以提升对于洋芋片包装2的夹持效果,最重要的是,可提升封装2a的品质。其中一夹条4b与二线圈弹簧12接设,夹条4a,4b以及/或线圈弹簧12是连接至电子马达7,以使该(机动式)夹条4b可对于相对(固定式)夹条4a移动并夹住金属箔包装2。
图3为一范例,表示如图1所示使用装置1时所产生的测量曲线图10。图3特别表现二测量曲线10a(较低的测量曲线)以及10b(较高的测量曲线),其中夹条4a,4b之间的距离以微米(μm)呈现以作为以度数(°)为单位的该进程2的函数。于此设定该靠近过程中,例如:该夹条4a,4b正相对靠近移动中,是从0度开始并至180度结束,于表示范例中的测量值是从60度时开始收集,亦即:当进程2过了三分之一后才开始,当然亦可于任何时刻开始监测。较低的测量曲线10a代表夹条4a,4b的靠近过程,其中一洋芋片包装2置于夹条4a,4b之间,其中该形成后的封装2a并无瑕疵。此测量曲线10a可因此被认定为一正常的靠近过程。较上方的测量曲线10b代表夹条4a,4b的一(平均的)靠近过程,其中一洋芋片包装2置于夹条4a,4b之间,但污染物如洋芋片碎粒等亦出现在置于夹条4a,4b之间的洋芋片包装2所含金属箔部分之间,而污染物可能导致封装出现缝隙并阻碍夹条4a,4b的正常靠近过程,也将使夹条4a,4b与比正常靠近过程的相同阶段相比稍微相互分离。此变数可与参照曲线10a相比,若差异幅度大时,可能代表该封装2a具有太过严重的瑕疵,借此可将洋芋片包装2自产品线装设该装置的部分移除。二椭圆形14a,14b绘于该图表中,如图3所示,以指出靠近过程中的特定时刻。左边的椭圆形14a为夹条4a,4b于夹住洋芋片包装2时相互接触并紧闭的时刻,右边的椭圆型(约于105左右)是夹条4a,4b间的距离急剧改变的时刻,于二曲线图10a,10b中皆可发现,此为洋芋片包装2中被夹住的金属箔部分软化(成为液体)所导致,借此可能将金属箔部分相互熔接,且亦更容易借此朝彼此移动靠近。此重要时刻即可指出该成品封装的品质。若此典型图型并未出现,或显示宽度较曲线10a小,通常是因为封装2a的内容物所导致,使封装2a出现瑕疵。故如此图3所示,可清楚表示出较高的曲线10b代表一具有瑕疵的封装2a,并未显示出夹条4a,4b之间的距离出现骤减,而是显示出因为选择不同位置使洋芋片包装2软化的移动方式所导致的结果。虽然比对该测量值与该靠近过程的预定义参照值已可相当可靠地检测出封装2a的瑕疵,但于此监测夹条4a,4b在金属箔部分充分液化的时刻如何相对彼此移动亦特别有所助益。
本发明显然并非仅限于此处所表示与说明的实施例,精于此技艺者在请求项范围之内可能发展出各种不同形式的改变。
Claims (14)
1.一种利用一检测装置检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,该检测装置具有:
至少一距离感应器,用以于至少二可相对移动夹件相互靠近过程中测定至少二夹件之间的距离为一时间函数,该至少二夹件能够相互推压金属箔与该包装另一部分,使该金属箔附着于该包装另一部分上;以及
至少一控制单元,连接于该至少一距离感应器,用以于该至少二夹件朝彼此移动的期间比对该距离感应器所收集到的多个测量值以及预定义多个测量值,
其特征在于,该方法包括:
A)将该金属箔与欲与金属箔结合的包装另一部分置于该至少二夹件之间,
B)将该至少二夹件朝彼此移动,其中并形成该金属箔与该包装另一部分之间的连接,
C)将该至少二夹件彼此分开,以及
D)将包装自该至少二夹件移开,
其中于步骤B)中,该至少二夹件能够检测到该金属箔软化所造成该至少二夹件移动所产生的一跳跃式急遽位移,于该至少二夹件于步骤B)中朝彼此移动的一期间,该至少二夹件间的距离是经测定为一时间函数,其中将收集到的包括该跳跃式急遽位移在内的多个测量值用以与预定义多个参照值比对。
2.如权利要求1所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:该方法包括一步骤E),其包括于至少一测量值超越至少一参照值时产生一信号。
3.如权利要求2所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:该信号是于步骤E)中,当有多个测量值连续超越多个参照值时产生。
4.如权利要求1所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于步骤A)中,该包装另一部分是由一金属箔所构成。
5.如权利要求1所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于步骤B)中,该金属箔与该包装另一部分是彼此熔接。
6.如权利要求1所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于步骤B)中,该金属箔与该包装另一部分是彼此胶合。
7.如权利要求1所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:至少一夹件是于步骤B)中受加热至介于90摄氏度至200摄氏度。
8.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于步骤B)中,介于4巴至6巴强度的一压力是施予该至少二夹件上。
9.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于步骤B)中,将该金属箔与该包装另一部分彼此按压的时间长度介于1微秒至5秒之间。
10.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于一靠近过程中,该至少二夹件是如步骤B)所述,自一开放位置朝彼此移动时,具有一长达x秒的期间,其中对于该至少二夹件之间的距离是持续测量介于0.2x秒至5x秒之间。
11.如权利要求10所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于,其中对于该至少二夹件之间的距离是持续测量介于0.4x秒至4x秒之间。
12.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:于一靠近过程中,该至少二夹件如步骤B)所述,自一开放位置朝彼此移动时,具有一进程y,其中对于该至少二夹件之间的距离是于至少是介于0.2y至y之间进行测量的。
13.如权利要求12所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:其中对于该至少二夹件之间的距离是于至少是介于0.6y至y之间进行测量。
14.如权利要求1至7中任一项所述的检测含金属箔包装封装瑕疵的方法,其特征在于:该方法还包括一步骤F),其是于步骤D)之后,利用一红外线摄影机检查该金属箔与该包装另一部分的连接。
