Abstract

Description

热密封控制方法及可重复密封包装的包装
技术领域
本发明涉及在包装产品中创新的包装和热密封控制方法,以及由此产生的制造品,这些制造品使用热密封塑料膜来解决密封强度,具有可重复密封的特性。
背景技术
在过去,有几种方法设计了用含有热密封部位的聚合物薄膜形成密封包。在热密封领域,控制热量来准确的实现预定的密封是困难的。本发明通过提供一种与高速生产工艺相兼容的控制密封强度的准确的方法,解决了这个问题。本发明还允许通过改变限制区域或微点的特征,在一个包装的不同部位以恒定加热温度和停留时间获得不同的密封强度。另外,所得到的包装允许用户在最初打破它后重新密封包装。这些新颖的特征,尽管被需要了很长时间,但并没有被现有的技术设计提供。
这些设计中的一个在一篇于2009年3月26日发布的专利公开号为US2009/0081405(Shalendra Singh)的美国专利中有记载。Singh通过特殊的聚合物薄膜来建立他的密封控制,这种聚合物薄膜的密封特性由组成它的树脂的相互作用而减少。尽管在该专利公布文本中已经中公开了通过特殊聚合薄膜进行密封控制的一般使用,但是它没有披露在薄膜覆盖的区域使用限制区域或微点有选择地降低(减弱)在这些区域所产生的密封,甚至也不认为包装是可重复密封的。
另一个相关的参考对应于布莱斯发表于1966年的美国专利号为3258386的有关热密封装置的专利。该专利公开了利用热扩散或发电机以密封特定点的机制。布莱斯的专利不仅公开了一种昂贵的设备,其使用也很昂贵,而且它被认为远离本发明。布莱斯承认行业内问题的存在。见Col. 1,第 33-63行。布莱斯教导对薄膜采用特殊加热锥体工具(直或卷)。这些工具的结构中含有凹沟,其中填充有非导热材料,因此当在它反面按压时,聚合薄膜不会被损害。磨光同样需要产生一个平滑的表面。本发明实际上是通过一个具有低的热导率覆盖物的应用的反向来定义预定数目的密封可控微点进而对预定密封强度的区域进行密封。另外,热接触需要精确地保持在相同的位置,直到密封完成。这与现代的高速旋转设备不兼容,像Will Pemco的平板纸包装器39S,由于平板纸贴在不同的加热板上滑动,在最终压缩过程中的密封点不可能与最初的工具所产生的密封点相同。Pemco公司位于克罗克大道3333号,希伯根,威斯康星州。布莱斯需要复杂的机制控制包装在预定区域的密封。最后,这项专利没有公开的包装的可重新密封的任何特征。
在发给弗雷德里克L.特里尔在2001年4月10日的专利以及美国专利号6214766(2001)题名为“纸制品的安全特征”专利中,专利权人公开了使用微点作为防止造假者保护措施。第3栏第20-34行。然而,不存在学说或建议将微点用于控制密封部分在包装的强度。此外,该专利未公开再密封特性(包装被第一次打开后的重新打开及重新合上)。
另一个相关的参考是在1999年发给理查德•利特曼的美国专利No.5878549,题为“具有控制共挤易开封特性的包装”,利用了薄膜内外表面粗糙的部分。除了要求两个表面的匹配外,该方法失去了在其他方法下给广告留出的空间。在本发明中,微点的选择性使用更加有效并与生产要求相兼容。
通常包装封装的问题是没有足够的对塑料膜密封特征的控制,这使得工业生产过程中更难以控制温度,压力和热密封时间。这些困难的时间、压力、温度因素被认为是无规则的,而且生产中的包装机在整个过程中不一致的封装导致有些包装密封太强,另外一些则太容易打开。
现今生产的热密封包装的产品存在的几个密封问题如下面所述。当密封太强时,包装很难打开,它会让顾客感到不适,更糟的是顾客面临在打开包装的时候撕破包装的风险,因为这需要更大的力量来完成这项作业。在这种情况下,该产品由于它容易脱落的包装可能会暴露于污染中。过强的密封导致的另一个问题是由于顾客会使用太多的力量或是切割对象,存在使客户的手和指甲受到潜在的损伤的风险。
当包装封口弱时,由于最终到达客户前的包装打开,会导致产品销售链中的高损失率,增加物流和库存补充的投资成本,更不用说损坏的产品对制造商在客户心目中的形象产生的影响了。
通常情况下,制造商们尝试在密封控制中应用低熔融温度耐腐蚀塑料膜抵消这些困难,这使得包装更加昂贵的同时并没有完全解决包装过程中不同的封装力的问题及它所带来的一系列影响。
通常,这种类型的包装还可以显示包装和包装机的金属部件之间的FC(摩擦系数)的问题,这会减缓工序和生产率。
相对于重新密封包装的能力,过去设计的几种机制难以适应生产线的需求,并增加了生产成本。其中一个尝试是于1999年3月16日发给琼斯等人的美国专利No.5882749,题名为“易开可再封闭的包装”。该专利描述了热封包装膜外加合成胶带的制造方法,使外部密封面沿着主要的封装基板通过两个合适的可密封性的薄膜并在其中心使用粘合剂。在这个过程中包装被破坏或分裂打开时,产品使用的粘接补丁的密封力可以使包装重新在同一个位置闭合。本专利的过程变得复杂和昂贵,这时,薄膜包装就需要外部元件的应用:胶带,在新的包装的格式和布局不断变化时,对机械的安装和调整时起到限制作用。琼斯等人提出的过程没有提出利用薄膜重新密封包装,只是需要建立多道工序并将胶带应用在包装适当的位置上,至少两片薄膜、粘合剂的多层和脱扣器。
美国专利号3454210公开了一种压敏粘合剂层穿过的基层网并连接到基底膜来构成的包装。该包装是通过破坏易撕的膜并除去压敏胶粘剂层来打开。这使得压敏粘合剂的一个表面暴露出来,按压和该表面的网可以密封包装。在这项专利公开的包装的主要缺点是包装上的整个网都要涂上压敏粘合剂层。由于压敏粘合剂只有在开口的地方才需要,在生产中网的处理需要进行特殊的安排。这些都是昂贵的材料,因此,这种方法的代价极高并且过于昂贵。
美国专利号5089320公开了一种类似的软包装材料,其自身可热密封。该包装材料具有粘接剂层夹在热密封聚合物的表面层和基材之间。粘性粘合剂是分布在整个材料上。专利还显示,由于只有在开口处才需要粘合剂,粘合剂用于在基板上需要的地方。表层也可以被应用于胶合剂本身的记录,粘合层和基底表层的压印后使用中心压印按压。表层也可以应用于基底的其他区域的表面,覆盖在整个包装材料的表面。粘合剂可以在基底上通过运输工具转移得到应用,通过运用另一个经常有释放或缺失电晕处理的特征的膜进行运输。这个过程在金属转移过程中被熟知 并且提出一个高效生产过程中使用环带或其他基底的巨大的经济劣势,诸如膜运输,有时会发生损失和废置运输的膜或衬垫。综上所述,在这个专利公开的方法中将粘性粘合剂分配在包装材料上是不利的,原因之前已进行说明,粘合剂用表层膜覆盖在需要的位置或是通过转移释放膜或衬垫也是不利的,因为需要一个更完整的生产工艺运用环形带或其他基材,诸如膜运输使用,有时会发生损失和废置运输的膜或衬垫。
美国专利号5382472公开了一种可重密封包装材料并排同时共挤几种热塑性树脂通过在机器方向延伸的两个或两个以上的能带的材料的薄膜。第一能带包含传统的包装的聚合物和无压敏胶,第二能带包括热封聚合物表面层,为一种压敏胶芯层和一层热塑性树脂相邻层。发明公开了共挤并列薄膜段相互并行,第二能带和第一能带有着相同的厚度。显示表明第二能带的表面与第一能带的表面共平面。每个能带从共挤并排薄膜的一个表面延伸到膜另一个的表面。薄膜自身是折叠的,通过热封形成包装,依靠在第二能带中密封爪运作于热封的聚合物。当热封被拉开时,热封层破裂一直到压敏胶和压敏胶脱离。断裂和脱层发生在共挤并排薄膜的范围内。该专利中公开的方法的缺点在于以下几个方面。限制在于共挤薄膜只能由共挤并排制造。共挤并排转而又受到并排染料被设计为只能和一些树脂一起运行的限制。即使它被设计成可以和众多树脂一起运行,每种染料都被设置在第二能段的固定位置上。为了改变第二能段的位置,需要一种新的染料。用一种指定的染料来进行调整以适应一种或多种树脂是有问题的,可能会导致第一能段和第二能段的表面厚度的不均衡性。即使第二能段只有一小块的厚度不同就会导致一滚筒共挤并排薄膜沿表面的一侧出现凸起区域或凹陷区域。为减少滚筒表面的不均匀性,出货给客户的滚筒的尺寸将保持相对小。这将导致比预期更频繁换滚筒。另一个方法是用粘性粘合剂给一个软包装提供开口特性,其中一个细长的切口通过包装薄膜做出。切口被扩大时可以一个由载波系统提供的一种粘性粘合剂层的基材层制成的比切口宽的重闭带用薄膜的粘胶面覆盖在切口上。薄膜自身是折叠的,不需加热就能通过粘性粘合剂把薄膜的对面的隔断与开口切口粘合压在一起。打开包装时从包装对侧的隔断拉开胶带的粘性粘合剂。这种方法是不利的,因为它要求胶带的粘性粘合剂层加工为或覆盖有可揭去的防粘层,或者用硅树脂涂布纸载体层进行运载。这些为了生产胶带和包装的加工系统和活动盖或载波系统添加了步骤、设备和费用。
1998年4月21日公布的日本专利申请No. 10-101130,题为“利用透明薄膜的包装构造”的专利中显示了一种包装像碟片和盒式磁带的之类物体的材料。市场中公认这种包装热封装材料在焊接区域接受印刷广告会减少并破坏薄膜的焊接质量,从而在包装上创造出一个易于打开的恰当的位置。然而这种密封强度降低的主要技术在树脂的油墨污染时不能建立控制热密封性能的控制,不能控制焊缝的融合力度,没有说明FC控制通过添加添加剂包装涂料和罩光漆,并且都没有在产品部分使用时有可能重新闭合包装并保护其内容的解决方案。
基于上述相关信息披露,本发明是简便的,不需要额外的步骤,过程,或基板,从而可以创造出预期的效果,如在印刷包装时,易打开及可不限次数轻易重新闭合和重新打开包装。
其他与该问题描述比较相近的文档提供了或多或少的复杂特征,无法经济有效的解决问题。这些专利没有表明本发明的新特点。
发明内容
本发明的一个主要目的是提供一种方法用于控制在热密封包装的密封强度使包装能够在破坏后重新密封。
本发明的另一目的是提供一个这样的方法包括对产生微粒的限制区域的选择性的分配。
本发明的再一个目的是提供这样的一种方法,在包括油墨组合物的限制的领域能够进行生产图形化表达。
本发明的另一目的是提供这样的制品,制造和维护廉价,同时保持其有效性。
本发明的进一步目标是将在下面的详述中提出,其中详细的描述是为了不受地方限制公开这项发明。

具体实施方式
本发明涉及一种方法用于使用热密封技术控制两个配合的膜部分之间的密封强度。该方法的第一步是确定两个合作薄膜的密封部分,定义两个薄膜的两个合作的热封表面的至少一个密封部分,其中一个表面覆盖有预定热绝缘特性的材料。第二步是在预定的限制区应用非密封组合物。这些限制的区域可以通过离散重复设计来定义,这样就在组合中定义了限制区域。在某些情况下,需要设计限制区域被应用在薄膜两侧的密封部分(正面和背面),在预定的区域将接收到密封的热量。本发明中的方法使得随着在选定区域控制密封盖的增加增强了包装的质量。
申请人已经开发出了更有效的技术,采用热封塑料薄膜来在包装生产时对热密封进行控制,众所周知,解决了包装密封的老问题的同时,会使用户在需要时方便的打开包装花费更多的力量。此外,包装,也就是本发明的主要课题,使用了粘附沉积,这可用于在第一次撕开后重新密封薄膜部分。
由申请人发明的方法通过限制或减少薄膜接触的密封区,在薄膜的重叠区域通过非密封性油墨和清漆在限制区的应用来起作用。这个方法应用于柔印,凹印,胶印和数字印刷技术。这些限制区域的存在以平衡的方式允许了使用控制包装密封强度,赋予了包装一个易于打开的特征的同时具有足够的密封能力。预定量的粘合剂40沉积在微粒或非密封区域30一部分上。随后,那些粘合剂40已沉积的非密封区域30通过应用一种聚丙烯(PP)粉体静电沉积来覆盖。不同的工艺步骤如图5所示,顺序为I到V。粘合剂(像大头针一样作用)可以在凹版印刷过程或者一个非密封区域30的预定部位应用热熔粘接剂的装置中沉积。
包装的密封控制方法包括用非密封的油墨和清漆印刷明确微点30和薄膜22预定的限制密封区域20,在重叠区域应用热封膜22。包装一部分的整体密封强度得到控制,允许简易和轻松的打开包装,而不会使包装有的明显的撕裂或是引起的手和指甲的损伤,同时保持足够的密封。如附图5步骤VI所示,当两个薄膜分离时,PP沉积物50与粘合剂40分开。这允许用户重新封装包装,通过应用一个预定大小的压力使粘合剂40和PP沉积物50黏附在一起。在步骤V中PP沉积物50与薄膜24相融合。
该方法可以通过应用在多种设计的限制区域或微粒周围的热封区域实现,如圆形,方形,长方形,椭圆形,三角形或三个或更多面的多边形,规则或不规则的,不同大小和不同数量和/或分布,根据所需的热封强度,可以在附图4中明确看到。印刷将适应并且/或者调和于印刷在包装上的广告图形。
这种新的方法相比其他密封控制方法的另一个优势是,在包装过程中,制造商将能够控制或提高薄膜的摩擦系数(FC)。为此,用户可以利用非封清漆添加剂来控制摩擦系数,这将增加在包装生产线的生产效率。
一个使用该方法和由此产生的包装的可能的例子在附图中进行了说明。附图1和1A显示了一沓纸的包装。附图2和附图3分别表示了包装的部分用或不用微粒30时的情况。在附图4中,限制区域被表现出来,如方形设计微粒30。
这些区域含有油墨或清漆来防止密封。微粒30的其他形状也被表现出来。在附图5中,微粒30的包装的一个扩大的部分被表现出来。附图5同时显示了两个重叠的经过热加工的薄膜它们之间是含有限制周边可密封区域20的微粒30的油墨或清漆。
在附图6和7中,扁平封装在区域A、B和C中表示。制造商选择的不同的密封强度取决于期望的打开包装的最终用户。
这项新的热密封控制的技术可用于不同类型的薄膜22;24与之兼容进行密封。它们可以被用来作为单层,自身叠成的多层或者叠在其他材料上。
一层或多层的聚乙烯,一层或多层的聚丙烯及双轴取向的聚丙烯(BOPP)的一层或多层也可以使用。上述的薄膜厚度可以从10mc (0,40mil)到300mc (12mil)。
一个新技术的特点是,它可以控制包装的密封特征通过利用广告印刷区(非密封)作为在过程中的控制工具而不增加生产成本。它们也使包装更耐热、耐磨,这对打印包装来说也很重要。
前面的描述表达了对本发明的目的和优点的最好的理解。通过本发明的发明概念可以制作出不同的具体事例。可以理解的是,所有在这里公布的事项都被解释仅仅作为说明,而不是一个局限的意义。
工业实用性
从之前的段落可以显而易见得知,作为一种改进的类型用于热密封的控制方法和包装可重密封包装对包装工业来说是很理想的。

Claims (24)

1.一种控制两个相互配合的热密封薄膜之间的密封强度的方法,包括以下步骤:
A)定义两个薄膜的两个合作的热封表面的至少一个密封部分,其中一个表面覆盖有预定热绝缘特性的材料,从而可得一种选择性定义的多个非密封区域,在前述非密封区域具有可控制的预定的热封强度,从而在所述至少一个密封部分提供一条在分离两层薄膜间的密封时有更小的阻力的途径;
B)将有效量的粘合剂有效量沉积在预定数量的非密封区域;
C)在非密封区域中沉积的粘合剂上放置着静电沉积聚丙烯粉;并且
D)在前述密封部分在预定的时间内应用预定量的热量做到了有效的密封,在另一个表面没有非密封区域。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,所述非密封区域通过具有预定形状和尺寸的点来定义。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,所述形状的点是圆形的。
