技术领域
本发明涉及一种生产横向密封接缝的方法和一种使用超声的横向密封设备。
背景技术
在横向密封时,将一个平放在另一个上的至少两种材料相互横向密封,即,垂直于材料的运动方向。
在例如垂直的管状袋包装机器中,由条状材料形成管并且条状材料的两个侧边缘用纵向密封接缝彼此连接。然后借助于横向密封接缝将该管分割成多个封闭的管状袋。
为此有必要利用焊头施加的焊接力穿过工作台或砧座上的管状袋对借助于纵向密封接缝已经封闭的管状袋进行密封。由于纵向密封接缝的存在,布置在焊头和砧座之间的条状材料的层数沿着焊接面积的宽度并不恒定。
正如图1中示意性地所示,结果通常是2-4-2层结构,即,只有两层条状材料在要横向密封的管状袋的外部区域内一个平放在另一个上面,四层条状材料在纵向密封接缝的区域内一个平放在一个上面。这意味着在纵向接缝被折叠的位置具有的条状材料的数量是焊接面积剩余部分的两倍。焊头在恒定力的作用下压在砧座上,导致在纵向密封接缝的一个相对小的面积内有一个高比接触压力。因此,早期融化发生在该4层区域,转而导致不期望的塑料过焊。这可能导致缺陷、泄漏和不确定的熔融流动,其在大多数优选情况中只对纵向密封接缝产生负面视觉影响。另外,发生在2层区域中的作为可用能量的大部分的泄漏被应用在4层区域中。
为了完整性应该指出这还有其它的纵向密封接缝的形式。比如也可能用于2-3-2层结构的生产。原则上所述的问题也会发生在这样的接缝上。
目前使用三种不同的方法来生产纵向密封接缝。
首先,简单的过焊纵向密封接缝是可能的。这样的益处是,砧座和焊头都不用必须适合纵向密封接缝。然而所述的不利之处仍然存在,所以这种方法只能毫无问题地用于特定类型的薄膜。
因此,作为一种选择,已经使用焊头或砧座在纵向密封接缝的区域内具有凹陷的方法,即,在例如层数为4的区域内。因此,在焊接操作过程中,位于管状袋上的纵向接缝被导入凹陷区域内。这使得在4层区域内消除增加的比接触压力和相对高的能量使用成为可能。
然而,这种方法的不利之处在于焊头或砧座必须是明确适配的,即,条状材料的厚度和纵向密封接缝的宽度必须是已知的,然后相应的焊头和砧座仅用于同样厚度的材料和同样宽度的纵向密封接缝。如果例如纵向密封接缝的宽度改变,焊接工具就不能再使用,替代的是,必须生产具有相应凹陷的新焊头或新砧座。
当纵向密封接缝引导通过凹陷“平放”,凹陷必须具有对应于纵向密封接缝宽度的宽度。然而,凹陷导致纵向密封接缝宽度上的更差的横向焊接,其再次导致一些材料的泄漏。
而且,在操作过程中不可能总是保证纵向密封接缝运行在绝对相同的位置上。所以如果有微小的误差,即,在纵向密封接缝和所提供的凹陷之间未对准,这会对接缝的密封产生负面的影响。
第三种方法利用多层密封接缝。这意味着在这里,首先对横向接缝进行密封,其可能仅粗略地延伸过纵向密封接缝或根本就不延伸到纵向密封接缝。然后第二接缝完全穿过所述袋并且因此提供密封。可选择地,可添加不连续的第三密封接缝。作为规则,一个密封接缝足以保证适当的密封。然而,经常地需要多个横向接缝来保证密封管状袋不会自动打开或者在施加最小打开力时不会打开。
这种方法的益处在于更好地分布作用中的力。然而这种方法也是昂贵且形式不灵活的,即,在条状材料的厚度和/或纵向密封接缝的宽度改变的情况下必须改变诸构件。另外,当横向密封第二接缝时起初所述的问题仍然存在。
发明内容
从所述现有技术出发,本发明根本的目的是因此提供一种方法和一种横向密封设备,且可以克服或至少减少所述不利之处。
关于该方法,所述目的通过以下方式实现:至少在施加焊接力期间,纵向密封接缝移动通过形成在焊头或工作台或砧座中的缝隙,其中,由纵向密封接缝形成的面积粗略地垂直于管状袋的表面。在一个优选实施方式中,该缝隙的宽度在0.05至0.3mm之间,优选地在0.07至0.2mm之间,最好在0.9至0.15mm之间。
因此,根据本发明,纵向密封接缝不在焊头和放平的工作台或砧座之间移动,而是穿过缝隙“直立地”移动,即,纵向密封接缝布置成其接缝宽度垂直于管状袋。或者换句话说,由纵向密封接缝形成的面积粗略地垂直于管状袋的表面。因此,在一个优选实施方式中,设置成缝隙的深度比缝隙的宽度要大。
这意味着没有焊接力施加到纵向密封接缝。当纵向密封接缝在焊头和直立而非平放的工作台或砧座之间穿过,在焊头和工作台或砧座之间没有发生焊接的区域很小,所以泄漏的问题会被打折扣。发生的熔融流动足以生产完全密封的接缝。
在另一个特别优选的实施方式中,提供使用两部分焊头或两部分工作台或砧座,其中焊头或工作台的两部分之间的距离根据纵向密封接缝的厚度进行调整。

在一个优选实施方式中,焊头或工作台具有不同厚度的多个缝隙。这允许将相同的工作台或相同的焊头用于不同厚度的材料。如果具有更大材料厚度的管状袋将要被密封,可将工作台或砧座和/或焊头定位成使得另一个具有更大缝隙厚度的缝隙可被用来接纳纵向密封接缝。然而,因为焊头或工作台或砧座中的每个缝隙减小在相应位置的焊接力以及产生次等质量密封接缝的风险,在一个特定的优选实施方式中,缝隙厚度设置成可调整的。这里,例如焊头或工作台可被制成两个部分以便在两个部分之间形成缝隙,并且部分中的一个可以相对于另一个可移动使得缝隙的宽度可以被调整。

具体实施方式
图2示出了本发明的第一实施方式。所示横向密封设备由焊头1和包括两个部分3和4的砧座2组成。已经设有纵向密封接缝5的管状袋6以这样一种方式布置在焊头1和砧座2之间,即,已经被密封的部分(即,纵向密封接缝5)被引导入砧座2的两个部分3、4之间的缝隙,同时管状袋6的尚未密封部分被引导入焊头1的密封面和工作台或砧座2之间。
正如借助图3中箭头所示的那样,图3展示图2所示实施方式的平面图,工作台或砧座2的两部分3、4可以相对于彼此移动。这样首先允许缝隙7与纵向密封接缝的厚度匹配,其次在焊接操作开始时纵向密封接缝5更安全地引入缝隙7。缝隙7的宽度必须被选择使得纵向密封接缝5可以在没有任何障碍以及在纵向密封接缝没有损伤的情况下引导通过缝隙。另一方面,缝隙必须尽可能小,使得缝隙7中断工作台或砧座2和焊头1之间的横向密封的区域尽可能小。
实际上,已经发现缝隙最好在0.1和0.2mm之间。
图4示出了图3相应区域Y的放大细节。在焊头1和工作台或砧座2的两部分3、4之间的管状袋6的路径是可见的。也能看出纵向密封接缝5基本上垂直地(即,直立)引导到工作台或砧座2和焊头1之间的缝隙,横向密封发生在该缝隙内。
图5至7示出了本发明的第二实施方式。图5示出了第二实施方式的透视图。这里密封设备再次呈现为焊头1和工作台或砧座2。然而,不是工作台或砧座2被制成两部分,而是焊头1由两部分8、9组成。在该实施方式中,已焊接的纵向密封接缝于是被引导入形成在焊头1的两部分8、9之间的缝隙7’。该实施方式在其它方面对应于第一实施方式。
因此,根据本发明,焊头或者砧座设有缝隙或被分成两个部分以便在两个部分之间形成缝隙。然后纵向密封接缝引导通过垂直于焊接面的缝隙。这样防止纵向密封接缝同时再次被焊接。综合测试显示通过宽度基本上为0.1-0.2mm的缝隙,横向密封接缝可以在除缝隙之外没有任何泄漏的情况下被密封。
可以被非常灵活地使用所述方法和设备。另外,纵向接缝穿过的缝隙还可用作对袋管的辅助引导。视觉上非常整洁的密封形成了。纵向接缝也不密封到横向接缝,使得在特定的情况下可用于其它修正步骤。

Claims (10)
1.在具有纵向密封接缝(5)的管状袋中生产横向密封接缝的方法,其中管状袋(6)移动通过焊头(1)和砧座(2)之间,并且焊头(1)和砧座(2)相对彼此运动以产生横向密封接缝,使得焊接力施加到管状袋(6),其特征在于,至少在焊接力的施加期间,纵向密封接缝(5)移动通过形成在焊头(1)或工作台中的缝隙(7),其中,由纵向密封接缝形成的面积粗略地垂直于管状袋的表面,并且缝隙(7)的深度大于缝隙的宽度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,缝隙(7)的宽度在0.05至0.3mm之间。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,缝隙(7)的宽度在0.07至0.2mm之间。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,使用两部分的焊头(1)或两部分的工作台,其中焊头(1)或工作台的两部分之间的距离根据纵向密封接缝(5)的厚度进行调整。
5.具有焊头(1)和工作台的横向密封设备,焊头(1)和工作台被设置成使得将要被处理的条状材料可以移动穿过焊头(1)和工作台之间,其特征在于,焊头(1)或工作台具有缝隙(7),其中,缝隙(7)的深度大于缝隙的宽度,并且缝隙(7)粗略地垂直于焊头(1)和工作台所提供的密封表面延伸。
6.根据权利要求5所述的横向密封设备,其特征在于,焊头(1)或工作台具有多个不同宽度的缝隙。
7.根据权利要求5所述的横向密封设备,其特征在于,缝隙的宽度是可调整的。
8.根据权利要求5所述的横向密封设备,其特征在于,焊头(1)或工作台形成有两部分,并在两部分之间形成缝隙(7)。
9.根据权利要求8所述的横向密封设备,其特征在于,一个部分相对于另一个部分可移动,使得缝隙的宽度可以调整。
10.权利要求5至9中任一项所述的横向密封设备用于实施权利要求1至4中任一项所述的方法。
