Abstract

焊接部件(1)定位在两个膜层(12、13)之间且位于所述膜层的边缘区域中,并且处于双部件工具(14、15)之间,所述双部件工具的工具部件(14、15)能够基本垂直于所述膜层(12、13)从敞开位置移动到闭合位置。所述焊接部件(1)具有在纵向截面中为锥形的密封区,并且闭合的所述工具(14、15)的内部空间的横截面形状和锥角对应于所述密封区的横截面形状和锥角。在闭合所述工具(14、15)后,所述焊接部件(1)平行于所述工具(14、15)的分离面移动,并通过中间的所述膜层(12、13)与所述工具接触。以这种方式,在所述工具中实现待连接的部件(14、15)的精确安装和无间隙包覆,与所述焊接部件和所述膜层(12、13)的公差尺寸无关。

Description

用于制造具有封闭设备的柔性容器的方法
本发明涉及一种根据权利要求1的前序部分所述的方法。
这类柔性容器用于容纳特别是液体或糊状产品,并且该封闭设备包括:具有用于分配容器的内容物的贯通开口的焊接部件。在热量的作用下实现焊接部件到膜层的连接,由此将膜层的部分和焊接部件的部分熔合起来。为了在熔合区产生所需的连接,必须在熔合区施加压力并保持一定的时间。在这方面特别重要的是压力的分布,由此保证了:一方面得到的连接是牢固的,另一方面待连接的部分不被损坏或弱化。在这方面的一个特别的问题是,使用的工具的形状和尺寸是不变的,而待连接的部分的形状且特别是尺寸在一定公差内是变化的。因此,在闭合工具内建立的焊接压力将是可变的,并且焊接操作的结果将必然受到相当大的变化。如果焊接部件太小和/或膜层太薄,则焊接部件的区域内的接触压力将是不足的,由此导致在该区域中的不充分的焊接连接。与此同时,在这种情况下,在膜层的与焊接部件邻近的区域中可能会产生过度的接触压力和损坏。如果焊接部件太大,则由于过度的接触压力导致可能损坏焊接部件或上覆的膜层,而膜层的邻近焊接部件的区域将不会经受足够的压力并且将被不充分地焊接。
根据已知的方法,上述问题通过为焊接部件提供凸起的肋状件(salient rib)而得到缓解,该凸起的肋状件在焊接操作期间熔化掉并且填充由于不充足的压力导致的可能间隙。类似地,为了打乱并分发焊接的材料,密封工具还可以设置有表面结构。另一种方法涉及将弹性部件整体形成在密封工具中,以便因而补偿待连接的部件的公差以及避免局部区域中过度的压力。类似的方法是基于首先对弹性支撑件应用一个密封颚(jaw),然后对相对侧进行处理。上述方法的组合也已经被使用了。
已知方法(尤其是当使用肋状件或类似物时)的一个缺点是,必须选择比出于包装的目的所需要的更有抵抗力和/或更厚的片材。特别是考虑到目前朝向逐渐变小的包装单元的趋势以及考虑到片材制造商提供满足待包装的产品的需求的逐渐变薄的包装膜的事实,仅出于焊接连接的原因而使用较厚的片材意味着大量的浪费。因为弹性材料是不良的热导体,所以使用弹性嵌体(inlay)或支撑件的方法必然造成热量或时间方面较高的需求。
在该现有技术的背景下,本发明的目的是提供一种用于制造具有封闭设备的柔性容器的方法,由于连续生产,尽管焊接部件和/或膜层的尺寸有变化,焊接部件通过该方法安全地焊接。
该目的通过权利要求1的特征部分指定的措施来实现。
特别地,本发明解决方案提供以下优点:工具的横截面形状与焊接部件的横截面形状对应,工具的锥角(cone angle)与焊接部件的锥角对应,这允许将焊接部件推进到工具内的这样一个位置中,在所述位置中在工具中实现了待连接的部件的精确安装和无间隙包覆(enclosure),而与焊接部件和膜层的尺寸公差的无关。
在从属权利要求中描述本方法的具体实施方案。
下文中,将参考随附附图通过实例的方式描述本发明的示例性实施方案,附图示出了:
图1为适用于本发明的方法的焊接部件的立体图;
图2为穿过工具截取的纵向截面,膜层和焊接部件插入在所述工具中;以及
图3为沿图2中的线III-III截取的横截面。
图1示出了焊接部件1的立体图,该焊接部件优选地通过注射成型由合成材料制造成一体件。具有贯通开口的管状颈部件2用于分配配备有焊接部件1的柔性包装容器的内容物。在管状颈部件的外侧上,示出螺纹段部3,该螺纹段部用作用于封住颈部2的帽的接合装置。考虑到分别自动处理焊接部件1或完成焊接的容器,可以设置具有引导表面9的凸缘4。如在纵向截面中看到的,密封区5为锥形。基本上,密封区5的横截面可以具有任何形状,但是优选的是,其在膜层的方向上比在垂直于膜层的方向上大。在描绘的实例中,为了促进焊接部件1的两侧上的过渡区域中的牢固焊接连接,在密封区上横向形成有翅片(fin)8。可选的颈部件6可以设置在密封区5的自由端处,并且可以具有旨在促进提取液体内容物的至少一个槽7。
图2示出了具有容纳在所制造的包装袋的前壁膜12与后壁膜13之间的焊接部件1的工具组件的纵向截面,以及图3示出了该同一组件沿图2中的线III-III截取的截面图。
焊接部件1通过保持工具14、15定位在描绘的位置中。在示出的具体实施方案中,保持工具具有延伸入焊接部件1的开口并且从内部支撑焊接部件1的芯棒(mandrel)10,在大的焊接部件的情况下这可能是有利的。此外,在一个实施例中,芯棒可以制造得足够长以从焊接部件1突伸出,并且因而用作插入辅助件以将焊接部件1定位在膜层12、13之间。最后,芯棒还可以配备有加热装置,以便协助焊接操作。同样地,芯棒10可以配备有冷却装置,以便允许产生的连接部被迅速冷却。顺便提一下,在先前的处理步骤中,通过未示出的装置(例如抽吸工具)使两个膜层12、13进入所描绘的部分展开(spread)的位置。
两个保持工具部件14、15能够在双箭头16和17所示的方向上从敞开位置朝向彼此移动到闭合位置,并且反向移动到敞开位置。当保持工具部件14、15闭合时,它们限定腔体,该腔体的横截面几何形状和锥角完全对应于焊接部件1的密封区5。在将保持工具部件14、15闭合后,焊接部件1移动到图2中的右侧,直到该焊接部件通过中间薄片12、13抵靠保持工具部件14、15而没有空隙。这种状态可以例如通过保持工具的推进力的快速增加来检测。现在上部密封工具部件18和下部密封工具部件19在双箭头20、21的方向上朝向彼此移动,并且薄片12、13在由小十字标记的位置被焊接到焊接部件。密封工具18、19还可以配备有冷却装置,以便允许产生的焊接连接部被迅速冷却。可替代地,图2中示出的保持工具14、15和密封工具18、19的布置可以颠倒,即,密封工具18、19可布置得比保持工具14、15更靠近膜层12、13的边缘。
保持工具部件14、15设置有止挡件(未示出),该止挡件在闭合位置彼此直接接触而没有中间薄片12、13,并且因此总是限定完全相同的内部空间而与焊接部件1和薄片12、13的公差无关。通过将焊接部件1插入该锥形内部空间直到待连接的部件处于紧密接触,施加到闭合工具部件的接触压力可以被控制在很窄的范围内。
与图2和3中示出的示例性实施例不同,使保持工具和密封工具彼此独立不是实现本方法的要求。事实上,用于生成或传送热量或振动以及用于实施焊接操作的元件可以集成在工具对14、15中。可以提供电阻性加热元件作为生成热量的元件。用于传送热量的元件可以例如被形成为引导在工具外部加热的流体的通道。通过例如超声波范围内的振动,可在产生连接部的地方生成热量。为了冷却产生的焊接连接部并且因而加速本方法,也可以将冷却装置布置在工具对中。可以理解的是,可替代地可以在随后的步骤中在所述的工具外部由单独的冷却装置对焊接连接部进行冷却。
此外,密封区5的锥度方向相对于图2可以是反向的,即,较大的横截面可位于容器的内部中。因此,在本实施例中,在焊接操作开始之前,通过牵引,使焊接部件与工具对接触。
在上述操作的准备中,为了避免高达四个元件(即,两个膜层12、13;焊接部件1和工具部件14、15)需要相对于彼此定位,可以通过精确(punctual)焊接连接将膜层12、13定位焊(tack-welded)到焊接部件1。
另外,在以上操作的准备中,膜层12、13也可以预先通过焊缝(weldseam)彼此联结。具体地,可以制备锥形边缘开口,该开口的锥角适应于密封区5的锥角。在根据上述方法的最终焊接操作中,先前产生的焊缝随后在过渡区中与新产生的焊缝联合。
最后,为了提高熔合材料的连接,在所述方法中,轮廓部(例如以肋状件的形式)也可以设置在工具部件上和/或焊接部件1的密封区5中。

Claims (11)

1.用于制造具有封闭设备的柔性容器的方法,所述封闭设备包括具有贯通开口的焊接部件(1),所述焊接部件(1)定位在两个膜层(12、13)之间且位于两个膜层的边缘区域中,并且所述焊接部件位于双部件工具(14、15)之间,所述双部件工具的工具部件(14、15)能够基本垂直于所述膜层(12、13)从敞开位置移动到闭合位置,并且通过热量的输入使所述焊接部件(1)连接到所述膜层(12、13),其特征在于,所述焊接部件(1)具有在纵向截面中为锥形的密封区(5),所述工具(14、15)在其闭合位置中时的内部空间的横截面形状和锥角对应于所述密封区(5)的横截面形状和锥角,并且在闭合所述工具(14、15)后,所述焊接部件(1)平行于所述工具(14、15)的分离面移动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,移动所述焊接部件(1)直到所述焊接部件通过中间的所述膜层(12、13)抵靠所述工具(14、15)。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,当达到确定的最大接触压力时,所述焊接部件(1)的移动停止。
4.根据前述权利要求中的一项所述的方法,其特征在于,芯棒(10)置于所述焊接部件(1)的所述开口中。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,所述芯棒(10)配备有用于产生或传送热量或振动的装置。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述芯棒(10)配备有冷却装置。
7.根据前述权利要求中的一项所述的方法,其特征在于,另外的双部件工具(18、19)设置成轴向邻近所述工具(14、15),所述另外的双部件工具的工具部件(18、19)能够独立于所述工具(14、15)基本垂直于所述膜层(12、13)从敞开位置移动到闭合位置。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,所述工具(14、15)或所述另外的工具(18、19)配备有用于产生或传送热量或振动的装置。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述工具(14、15)或所述另外的工具(18、19)配备有冷却装置。
10.根据前述权利要求中的一项所述的方法,其特征在于,在被插入所述工具(14、15)中之前所述膜层(12、13)通过精确定位焊接连接到所述焊接部件(1)。
11.根据前述权利要求中的一项所述的方法,其特征在于,在定位所述焊接部件(1)前,所述膜层(12、13)在与所述焊接部件(1)的轮廓对应的区域中彼此连接。
