Abstract

齿轮及齿轮的制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及齿轮及齿轮的制造方法,更具体地,涉及能够最大限度地减少在成型外侧部时所产生的应力、且能够减少工序数量的齿轮及齿轮的制造方法。
背景技术
一般而言,齿轮包括:外侧部,它的外部具有锯齿状的轮圈(gearrim);轮轴(hub),它具有两个开口侧,并且它同轴地设置于上述外侧部的中心;以及形成于上述外侧部和上述轮轴之间的壁或连接部,该连接部具有在径向上形成的连接桥形状。
这里,为了形成上述连接部,将上述轮轴的所述开口侧遮挡,在上述轮轴的中心的顶部处设置直浇口(flow hole),然后在径向上注射树脂以形成上述连接部。
接着,在成型上述连接部之后,切割在用于遮挡上述轮轴的所述开口侧的部分的顶部上以伞的形状附着于上述直浇口的树脂,并对上述轮轴的侧面与上述连接部彼此接触的区域进行加工,由此完成上述齿轮。
上述这样的齿轮为欧洲专利注册号EP1777439所记载,在此不再赘述其具体内容。
但是,关于上述齿轮,因为在成型上述连接部时在上述轮轴开口侧的顶部上有以伞的形状附着于直浇口的树脂,因此,在完成该连接部的成型之后,需单独去除上述这样的树脂。于是,增加了工序数量,并由此增加了制造时间。
发明内容
要解决的技术问题
本发明的目的在于克服现有技术之不足而提供一种用于车辆方向盘中的齿轮及该齿轮的制造方法,它们在有效地承受从外部施加的轴向力及径向力的同时,简化了制造工艺,并且防止了产生不良产品,由此提高了生产力。
解决方案
为此,本发明一个方面提供了齿轮的制造方法,该方法包括如下步骤:准备由中空管形状的钢材形成的插入部;注射成型在外周面上具有齿的外侧部;将上述插入部布置于上述外侧部的内侧中央处,且在上述插入部和上述外侧部之间的至少三个点处注射树脂以将上述插入部和上述外侧部连接起来,由此成型呈轮状的连接部。

图1是图示了本发明一实施例的齿轮100的插入部110的透视图;图2及图3用于说明本发明一实施例的齿轮100的外侧部130的成型过程;图4是用于说明在图1至图3所示的插入部110和外侧部130之间的连接部150的成型过程的透视图;图5是经过图4所示的成型过程之后制作完成的齿轮100的透视图;图6是图1所示的插入部110的侧视截面图。
如图1至图6所示,上述齿轮100包括设置于该齿轮100的中心处的插入部110、形成于上述插入部110外侧的连接部150、以及形成于上述连接部150外侧的外侧部130。
上述插入部110被形成为中空管形状。在上述插入部110的外周面上形成有沿上述插入部110的两端部在圆周方向上向内凹陷的一对结合槽111。上述插入部110还具备多个结合突起113,它们从上述外周面突出以在垂直方向上将上述一对结合槽111连接起来,并且它们沿上述垂直方向向上述插入部110的内侧凹陷成弧形。
因此,上述一对结合槽111和上述结合突起113增加了上述插入部110与上述连接部150的接触面积并防止上述插入部110从上述连接部150脱离。另外,上述插入部110所产生的旋转力使得上述连接部150不会从上述结合突起113上滑脱(slip)。
另外,因为上述插入部具备沿外周面上的两端部在圆周方向上向内凹陷的一对结合槽111,并且具备从上述外周面突出并沿垂直方向向内凹陷成弧形的多个结合突起以在上述垂直方向上将上述一对结合槽111连接起来,因此,在侧面不存在带角的拐弯,从而可以防止由于在制作完上述插入部之后进行的热劣化试验期间中产生裂痕而出现不良产品。
另外,上述外侧部130通过压入树脂而被注射成型。此时,上述外侧部130是通过从中央压入树脂而被注射成型的。接着,通过去除成型于上述外侧部130的中心处的部分来完成上述外侧部130的成型过程。
在上述外侧部130的外周面上形成像正齿轮(spur gear)或斜齿轮(helical gear)那样的齿。较佳地,上述外侧部130是利用其刚性比上述连接部150的刚性强的强化塑料而予以成型的。另外,在上述外侧部130在内周面上形成有多个突出片133以增加上述外侧部130与上述连接部150之间的接触面积,从而增加上述连接部150与上述外侧部130之间的结合力。
上述连接部150是通过如下过程予以成型的:在连接部150的中心设置了上述插入部110并在上述插入部110的外侧以等间距的间隔设置了上述外侧部130之后,在上述插入部110和上述外侧部130之间注射树脂。此时,上述插入部110是通过在至少三个点处注射该树脂而成型的,而上述三个点位于以连接部150的中心为基准点具有相同角度及相同距离的位置。
在树脂被压入且注射时,需在至少三个点且从上述三个点的中心以相同角度及相同距离对树脂进行注射,使得通过为了上述连接部150的成型而施加的注射压力来使上述树脂均匀分布,而且,减少了因注射压力的差异所导致的应力,从而减少不良率。

图7为图示了图5所示的齿轮100的制造方法的流程图。如图1至图7所示,上述齿轮100的制造方法包括:准备插入部110的步骤S10、成型外侧部130的步骤S20、以及成型连接部150的步骤S30。
在准备上述插入部110的步骤S10中,准备出由钢材形成的中空管形状的上述插入部110。
此时,上述插入部110具备沿上述插入部110的外周面上的两端部在圆周方向上向内凹陷的一对结合槽111,以用于防止上述插入部110从上述连接部150脱离并用于增加摩擦力。
另外,形成从上述外周面突出的多个结合突起113,以在垂直方向上将上述一对结合槽111连接起来。因此,可防止上述插入部110从上述连接部150的内周面在垂直或水平方向上脱离或滑脱。

成型连接部,所述连接部呈轮状,且所述连接部是通过如下过程予以成型的:将所述插入部布置于所述外侧部的内侧中央处,在所述插入部和所述外侧部之间的至少三个点处注射树脂以将所述插入部和所述外侧部连接起来。
2.根据权利要求1所述的齿轮的制造方法,其中,注射成型所述外侧部的步骤包括:在所述外侧部的内周面上沿圆周方向形成多个突出片,以增加与所述连接部的接触面积。
3.根据权利要求1所述的齿轮的制造方法,其中,成型所述连接部的步骤包括:以所述连接部的中心为基准点以相同角度及相同距离注射所述树脂。
