Abstract
本文描述了一种除锈组合物。所述组合物按所述组合物的总质量计包含:10至20质量%的无机酸;1至10质量%的有机酸;1至8质量%的渗透剂,其选自C2‑C4短链醚和短链醇中的至少一种;2至10质量%的磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂;0.5至10质量%的缓蚀剂;以及余量的水。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及除锈组合物,具体地讲,涉及针对金属的除锈组合物,可用于清洁用于医疗或商业用途的金属装置。
背景技术
不锈钢医疗装置在使用期间往往会生锈和腐蚀,主要是以下三个原因。首先,装置通常接触到有机污染物,例如消毒剂、人体分泌物、体液或血迹。有机污染物中包含的盐和碘化物对于装置的铬层具有腐蚀性和破坏性。特别地,装置上的干燥有机污染物更具破坏性。其次,装置在使用后通常会经受化学或物理消毒。含氯消毒剂溶液、过乙酸、酸性电解水以及高温和高湿度环境会氧化和腐蚀镍-铬层或甚至装置中的铁。再者,在清洁装置期间,很多不当操作(例如使用钢丝球或硬毛刷擦洗装置上的干涸血渍)会导致装置的铬层受到破坏。
为了延长装置的使用寿命并减少医院开支,很多医院使用除锈剂从生锈的装置除去铁锈,以使得它们可以被回收。目前市售的液体除锈剂具有除锈效果不令人满意的主要缺点,并且在长期使用的情况下会腐蚀金属,后者相反会导致更严重的二次生锈和腐蚀或甚至导致装置完全不能使用。
相关专利和文献中对除锈剂的说明主要集中讨论工业用途的那些除锈剂。这些除锈剂通常为盐酸和表面活性剂的组合物,其本身对金属具有高度腐蚀性(如美国专利No.5,215,676)。一些文献公开了为磷酸盐、表面活性剂和缓蚀剂的组合物的除锈剂,但其具有较慢的除锈速度和中等的除锈率(如美国专利公开No.2009032058A、CN101463481A等)。
因此,仍然存在开发具有较快除锈速度和较高除锈率以及较低的对金属的腐蚀性的除锈组合物的需要。
发明内容
在一些实施例中,本发明提供能够用于从医疗或商业用途的金属装置(尤其是不锈钢装置)除锈的除锈组合物。在一些实施例中,该组合物不仅具有较快的除锈速度和较高的除锈率,还具有较低的对金属的腐蚀性。
因此,在一些实施例中,本发明提供的除锈组合物按所述组合物的总质量计包含;
10至20质量%的无机酸;
1至10质量%的有机酸;
1至8质量%的渗透剂,所述渗透剂选自C2-C4短链醚和短链醇中的至少一种;
2至10质量%的磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂;
0.5至10质量%的缓蚀剂;和
余量的水。
在一些实施例中,本发明的除锈组合物(在本说明书中有时称为“高效除锈缓蚀剂组合物”)可有效地除去锈斑、腐蚀斑以及其他腐蚀性物质,并且尤其适用于在稀释后浸泡生锈的金属。此外,在一些实施例中,所述组合物在使用后将不会导致金属表面发生严重腐蚀和重新锈蚀,从而防止了金属的二次生锈和腐蚀。它是水溶性除锈剂,易于稀释以便使用,并且它的使用是安全的。在一些实施例中,使用除锈组合物将常用不锈钢医疗装置浸泡15分钟后对该装置上的锈斑实现超过50%的除锈率。
具体实施方式
如本文所用,除非另外指明,否则术语“物理稳定的”意指当保持在室温下至少3个月时,不会由于明显沉淀、结晶、相分离等而从初始状态发生显著变化。
术语“短链醚”意指包含2至4个碳的烷基醚。
术语“短链醇”意指包含2至4个碳的烷基醇。
一般来讲,本公开提供的除锈组合物按所述组合物的总质量计包含:
10至20质量%的无机酸;
1至10质量%的有机酸;
1至8质量%的渗透剂,所述渗透剂选自C2-C4短链醚和短链醇中的至少一种;
2至10质量%的磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂;
0.5至10质量%的缓蚀剂;和
余量的水。
无机酸
适用于本发明的无机酸优选地为中强酸,包括(但不限于)磷酸、偏磷酸、硼酸等。此类无机酸很容易与金属离子发生反应,并且易于与溶出的金属形成螯合物,从而达到掩蔽目的。另外,这些无机酸挥发性低,并且不会产生酸雾,因此它们不会污染环境且不会对使用者产生危害。更优选的无机酸是磷酸或偏磷酸。磷酸盐或偏磷酸盐离子具有良好的络合亚铁离子和铁离子的能力,从而在不锈钢基底的表面上形成致密钝化膜并防止不锈钢金属发生进一步腐蚀。
一般来讲,无机酸以10至20质量%、优选地15至20质量%、更优选地18至20质量%范围内的量存在于组合物中。低于10质量%的量将不会实现所期望的除锈效果;而超过20质量%的量则会对金属表面产生腐蚀。
有机酸
有机酸优选地为能够与多价金属离子络合,从而达到加速除锈和延长除锈剂寿命的目的的阴离子化合物。有机酸的例子包括(但不限于)柠檬酸、草酸、氨基磺酸、乳酸、苹果酸、酒石酸、乙醇酸、乙酸、丙酸、苯甲酸、壬基苯甲酸等,更优选地为柠檬酸和氨基磺酸,并且最优选地为柠檬酸。有机酸以1至10质量%、优选地4至10质量%、更优选地5至8质量%范围内的量存在于组合物中。
渗透剂
渗透剂可以是有机或无机渗透剂。它们可促使大部分除锈剂快速渗透锈膜,并且在该过程中松开锈膜与下面的钢表面的粘合,从而促进渗透和润湿并增强除锈效果。渗透剂的例子包括(但不限于)二丙二醇单甲醚、乙二醇丁醚、乙二醇乙醚、氯化钠、氯化镁、亚硫酸钠等。
在一些实施例中,优选的渗透剂为有机脂肪醇聚醚渗透剂。在本发明的一些组合物中,此类渗透剂可能不仅有利于除锈,还可通过与铁离子络合而形成一些抗腐蚀组分,并从而还抑制酸雾的产生。最优选的渗透剂是二丙二醇单甲醚,其具有低表面张力并且可通过锈层中的孔快速渗透锈层,从而有利于加速大部分除锈剂的渗透。渗透剂以按组合物的总质量计1至8质量%、优选地1至5质量%、更优选地2至5质量%范围内的量存在。
表面活性剂
该组合物还包含磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂,优选磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂。磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂的例子包括(但不限于)烷基磺酸、含苯的磺酸和烷基磺酸盐等。本发明的更优选的阴离子表面活性剂为烷基磺酸盐表面活性剂,优选地为C12至C16烷基磺酸盐表面活性剂。表面活性剂以2至10质量%、优选地4至8质量%、更优选地5至6质量%范围内的量存在于组合物中。
缓蚀剂
该组合物还包含缓蚀剂。缓蚀剂的例子包括(但不限于)无机酸盐例如铬酸盐和亚硝酸盐等,或含氮有机化合物例如苯胺、吡啶、喹啉、二乙胺、环乙胺、硫脲及其衍生物,更优选地为硫脲。缓蚀剂以0.5至10质量%、优选地0.5至4质量%、更优选地0.5至2质量%范围内的量存在于组合物中。
一般来讲,除锈组合物在使用时可用水如以1:5至1:20的比率稀释。
组合物优选地是物理稳定的,即当保持在室温下至少3个月时,不会由于明显沉淀、结晶、相分离等而从初始状态发生显著变化。
组合物可使用常规混合方法配制。
优选的组合物没有异味、没有刺激性气味放出,并且不会产生酸雾。
在一些实施例中,组合物可用于从不锈钢医疗装置的表面和接合处除去锈斑,并同时防止不锈钢发生进一步腐蚀。在一些实施例中,用组合物浸泡常用不锈钢医疗装置15分钟后对该装置上的锈斑实现超过50%的除锈率。在一些实施例中,组合物可有效地防止金属表面上发生氧化还原反应,并减轻酸性物质对金属的腐蚀。在一些实施例中,组合物可被制成透明的制剂,并且尤其适用于手动除锈。
以下实例更详细地示出了本发明的各种实施例。应当理解,这些实例仅仅旨在用于展示本发明,且不旨在以任何方式限制本发明。除非另外指明,否则本发明所用的所有百分比、数量和比率均按质量计,并且所用的温度为摄氏度。
实例
A:确定除锈率的实验步骤。
使用马口铁进行确定除锈率的实验。将马口铁切成3cm×3cm的切片,并使用砂纸磨擦并抛光该切片的两侧。然后将马口铁切片置于盐雾箱(ASTM B117)中保持48小时,使得其两侧出现锈层。
将下表1中描述的组合物用水稀释七倍,然后将处理过的马口铁切片浸泡在稀释的溶液中保持15分钟。
除锈率(%)用下面的公式表示:
其中:
a=粘附有铁锈的马口铁切片在除锈前的重量(g);
b=马口铁切片在用除锈剂除锈、用水洗涤且干燥后的重量(g);
c=马口铁切片在生锈前的重量(g)。
除锈率的值越高,除锈的效果越好。
B:腐蚀的评级标准如下:
在腐蚀评级实验中,使用X-rite8400测色分光光度计(ASTM标准D1003浊度和透射系数测定法)对腐蚀进行评估。在该实验中,将日光用作光源并比较L值(L:颜色的亮度,a:颜色的绿色-红色值,并且b:颜色的蓝色-黄色值;此处未比较a和b)。L值越小,除锈后不锈钢切片的颜色越暗,从而表明腐蚀程度越大。L<50表示严重腐蚀,50<L<60表示腐蚀,60<L<75表示轻度腐蚀,并且75<L表示基本无腐蚀。
C:比较例12和实例16
根据表1中的配方,混合并搅拌各组分,以配制比较例1–2和实例1–6的组合物。测试结果在表2中示出。

使用强无机酸的比较例1实现了良好的除锈效果,但也导致了严重腐蚀;使用浓度低于10%的中强无机酸的比较例2产生的除锈效果差,但对金属基本上无腐蚀性。实例1–6均实现了良好的除锈效果,且未对金属表面产生严重腐蚀。
Claims (15)
1.一种除锈组合物,按所述组合物的总质量计,所述组合物包含:
10质量%至20质量%的无机酸,所述无机酸选自磷酸、偏磷酸、硼酸或它们的混合物;
1质量%至10质量%的有机酸;
1质量%至8质量%的渗透剂,所述渗透剂选自有机脂肪醇聚醚、氯化钠、氯化镁、亚硫酸钠或它们的混合物;
2质量%至10质量%的磺酸和/或磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂;
0.5质量%至10质量%的缓蚀剂;和
余量的水。
2.根据权利要求1所述的除锈组合物,其中所述有机酸选自柠檬酸、草酸、氨基磺酸、乳酸、苹果酸、酒石酸、乙醇酸、乙酸、丙酸、苯甲酸、壬基苯甲酸或它们的混合物。
3.根据权利要求2所述的除锈组合物,其中所述有机酸选自柠檬酸、氨基磺酸或它们的混合物。
4.根据权利要求3所述的除锈组合物,其中所述有机酸为柠檬酸。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的除锈组合物,其中所述渗透剂是选自二丙二醇单甲醚、乙二醇丁醚和乙二醇乙醚的有机脂肪醇聚醚渗透剂。
6.根据权利要求5所述的除锈组合物,其中所述渗透剂是二丙二醇单甲醚。
7.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的除锈组合物,其中所述表面活性剂是磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂。
8.根据权利要求7所述的除锈组合物,其中所述表面活性剂是烷基磺酸盐表面活性剂。
9.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的除锈组合物,其中所述表面活性剂是选自烷基磺酸、含苯的磺酸以及它们的混合物中的磺酸。
10.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的除锈组合物,其中所述缓蚀剂选自无机酸盐、含氮有机化合物或它们的混合物。
11.根据权利要求10所述的除锈组合物,其中所述缓蚀剂是选自铬酸盐、亚硝酸盐或它们的混合物的无机酸盐。
12.根据权利要求10所述的除锈组合物,其中所述缓蚀剂是选自苯胺、吡啶、喹啉、二乙胺、环乙胺、硫脲及其衍生物或它们的混合物的含氮有机化合物。
13.根据权利要求12所述的除锈组合物,其中所述含氮有机化合物是硫脲。
14.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的除锈组合物,其中:
所述无机酸在所述组合物中的含量为15质量%至20质量%;
所述有机酸在所述组合物中的含量为4质量%至10质量%;
所述渗透剂在所述组合物中的含量为1质量%至5质量%;
所述表面活性剂在所述组合物中的含量为4质量%至8质量%;
以及
所述缓蚀剂在所述组合物中的含量为0.5质量%至4质量%。
15.一种除锈组合物,其包含:
18质量%至20质量%的无机酸,所述无机酸选自磷酸、偏磷酸、硼酸或它们的混合物;
5质量%至8质量%的柠檬酸;
2质量%至5质量%的二丙二醇单甲醚;
5质量%至6质量%的C12-C16烷基磺酸盐型阴离子表面活性剂;
0.5质量%至2质量%的硫脲;以及
余量的水。
