Abstract

一种干法制造纤维板的方法,它是将含木质素纤维的原料分解、胶合、干燥,制成网状物,然后压制。在分离纤维前,原料用含有纤维表面活性剂的浸渍溶液处理然后进行预热。

Description

本发明涉及含木质素纤维的板材,如纤维板的制造。
这类板材是通过下列方法制造的:将原料分解成含纤维束和纤维的微粒,在被分解的原料中加入胶水,然后将原料干燥并铺成网状,最后在较高温度下压制,令胶水固化而形成板材。纤维板是由经分离纤维得到的原料(即或多或少含有游离纤维)制得的。
通常所用的粘合剂是脲甲醛胶水,将它掺和到被分解的原料中。胶水用量可为6%或更多。由于胶水相对较贵,因而需要将胶水的加入量减少到最低。但是胶水用量少会降低制成的板材的强度。因此,需选择加入胶水的最佳用量。
在干燥胶合的原料时,有或多或少的水溶性甲醛从胶水中挥发出来。在例如旋风分离器中,将干燥气体与纤维材料分离后,就有液体从气体中冷凝出来。在常规的清洁方法中,可溶于水的甲醛会带来麻烦。伴随材料一道的甲醛在进入最终压制工序时也会带来麻烦,因为甲醛会从压成的板材中散发出来。当原料干燥后,在其中加入胶水时,在压制过程中以及从完成的板材中都会产生甲醛分离出来的问题。
根据干法制造的纤维板通常称MDF(中密度纤维板),它是由木纤维制得的板材,其产量超过95%。较好的原料为木质切片,可以在相对低的输入能量(100-500kWh/ton纤维)下分离纤维。分离的纤维原料经胶合,干燥,铺成网状,然后在热压机中压制。也可选择在胶合前令原料干燥的做法。原料通常是在纤维分离前预热到约150℃,然后在该温度和有压力的情况下进行纤维分离操作,这样有 助于纤维分离。但是在这样的高温下,原料也会因为发生水解而降解并失色。短时间加热可以减少这种不足,但失色则无法避免,而且也会增加能量消耗。
通常是将脲甲醛胶水加到出自纤维分离设备的输送带(排料带)上的纤维原料上与之混合或在分开的混和设备中混和。加入胶水的量为6%或更多。
当纤维原料在随后的管式干燥器中用高温气体干燥时,会有或多或少的水溶性甲醛从胶水中散发出来,如前所述,伴随材料一道的甲醛在材料进入最终压制工序时也会带来麻烦,因为甲醛仍会从压成的板材中散发出来。对于材料干燥后上胶水的情况(纤维板制造工艺即可这样进行),情况尤其如此。
本发明的目的在于减少分离纤维的能量消耗,并在维持强度不变的情况下减少胶水用量或在不变的胶水用量下增加强度,同时减少甲醛的分离量。
根据本发明,纤维原料先用一种含有纤维表面活性的化学品的浸渍溶液处理,并在最终分解前预热。这些化学品的例子是能与木质素起作用的物质,诸如Na2SO3和NaHSO3。这些化学品的加入量(以Na2SO3计)为1-30kg/ton原料,根据本发明,可增加最终产物的ISO光亮度,减少分离纤维的能量消耗,并在维持强度不变的情况下减少胶水用量或在不变的胶水用量下增加强度。此外,也明显减少了甲醛的分离量。
下文将结合一些实例具体描述本发明。
本发明根据干法制造纤维板的方法,由含木质素纤维的原料开始,经分解,胶合,干燥,制成网状物然后压制,其特征在于,在原料分解前用含有以Na2SO3计为1-30kg/ton纤维原料的纤维表面活性剂浸渍溶液快速处理,然后预热到150-200℃,此时pH值保持在2-12之间,分解在50-400k Wh/ton纤维原料的输入能量下进 行。所述的表面活性剂是作用于木质素的类型的表面活性剂。
纤维板是通过浸渍切片(例如软木切片)形式的原料来制造的,浸渍用的溶液含有与木质素起作用的化学品,如Na2SO3和NaHSO3,其量(如以Na2SO3计)为1-30kg/ton纤维原料,较好为10-20kg/ton纤维原料。
浸渍作用需快速进行,其过程持续几分钟。然后将温度升到150-200℃,最好是160-180℃,保温约2-3分钟。当然预热也可先于浸渍或在浸渍同时进行。pH值保持在2-12之间。这意味着含有Na2SO3和NaHSO3的浸渍溶液含有HSO- 3和/或SO2- 3形式的亚硫酸根。可用NaOH控制合适的pH值。由于用该化学品进行处理(磺化),以后的将纤维分离到所需的程度,所用能量输入比常规的情况要少些。能量消耗平均为50-400kWh/ton纤维原料。与常规方法相比所节约的能量约达10%。经过浸渍作用,最终纤维板的光亮度会增加。
至于原料分解伴有纤维分离过程,发现细小成份和碎屑成份都减少了,即主纤维的比率增加。
还发现,根据本发明的浸渍作用,制成板材的强度得到明显的改进。抗拉强度和弹性模量以及纤维结合强度至少增加10%。这种作用可用于减少维持所需强度性能的胶水加入量。纤维结合强度增加10%对应于减少1%胶水加入量。根据本发明的磺化反应还意味着可减少甲醛的逸出,这是由于浸渍溶液中的亚硫酸根离子与甲醛反应,所以甲醛结合在纤维材料中,而不是从制成的板材中挥发出来。
实施例
将木片原料进行不同的浸渍处理。其中一批是每吨木片用10kgNa2SO3处理,另一批是每吨木片用10kg NaHSO3处理。对照组不需浸渍。
将不同的两批料预热到约170℃,然后分离纤维。在分离纤维后的出料带上,加入E2型脲甲醛胶水,用量为10%干胶(以干纤维为基准计)。然后将原料干燥达到干物质含量为90%。将干燥的纤维材料制成网状物,然后用约1.5MPa的压力预压,再在170℃下热压5-6分钟。测量由此制造的板材的强度,ISO光洁度和甲醛含量(穿孔值)。同时测量不同批料的相对能量消耗。结果如下:

Claims (4)

1、一种根据干法制造纤维板的方法,由含木质素纤维的原料开始,经分解,胶合,干燥,制成网状物然后压制,其特征在于,在原料分解前用含有以Na2SO3计为1-30kg/ton纤维原料的纤维表面活性剂浸渍溶液快速处理,然后预热到150-200℃,此时pH值保持在2-12之间,分解在50-400kWh/ton纤维原料的输入能量下进行,所述的纤维表面活性剂是作用于木质素的类型的表面活性剂。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述的浸渍溶液含有Na2SO3和/或NaHSO3
3、如权利要求1-2中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述的分解原料先胶合,然后干燥,再制成网状物。
4、如权利要求1-2中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述的分解原料先干燥,然后胶合,再制成网状物。
