背景技术
在服装和其他产品(包括帽子、鞋子、手套、包和其他配件)的生产过程中,可能需要将具有特定形状的附加材料固定到基底纺织品上。提供附加材料可以是为了装饰、辨别、加固或其他的目的。例如,当生产运动服时,可以将口袋或拉链附连于运动衫的基底织物层上。
可以通过多种方式中的任意方式将附加材料附连于服装或相关产品上。例如,可以将附加材料缝合到织物基底层上。或者,可以使用粘合剂将附加材料粘合到所述织物上。通常,粘合剂(例如,热塑性膜)是用来将附加材料固定到服装上的优选方法,这是出于多种原因的考虑。首先,粘合有助于保持胶带接缝式(seam-taped)服装的防水特性。粘合还能够减轻服装的重量,因为其容许除去无关的接缝胶带。粘合的接缝可能还有利于使缝线的轮廓变平或减小,否则,当缝线贴近服装穿着者的皮肤时,服装穿着者就会感觉到该缝线。此外,还可以使用粘合的方式在服装上获得独特的美感。

发明内容

通常,将粘合剂材料40以与第二织物层60的周边、或者与待添加到织物基底层50上的其他材料的周边基本上匹配的形状印刷在背衬片材30上。该形状通常为封闭的周边形状,但在备选的实施方案中,该形状可以是开放的周边(即,不是封闭的形状)。由于在这些实施方案中,粘合剂材料仅以周边的形状印刷,因此,在印刷形状的内部形成不具有粘合剂材料40的开放区域45。这些开放区域45使位于印刷形状内部的背衬材料30暴露在外,并且这些开放区域延伸的面积一般大于被粘合剂材料沿该形状的周边所覆盖的面积。换言之,在任意给定形状内的开放区域45的面积一般都大于被粘合剂沿该形状的周边所覆盖的面积。然而,在一些备选的实施方案中,被粘合剂材料覆盖的面积实际上可大于在该形状内部的开放区域的面积。无论在何种情况下,沿着该形状的周边使用粘合剂材料而留有显著的开放区域45均是有利的,这是因为粘合剂材料往往价格昂贵。因此,由于在印刷形状中形成了显著的开放区域45,所以,与用粘合剂材料印刷整个形状(包括该形状的内部)的方法相比,实现了大大节省成本的目的。
在将粘合剂材料40以给定形状印刷在背衬片材30上之后,可以对背衬片材进行切割,从而使单个背衬材料片上具有一个或多个印刷形状。然后使用这些背衬材料片30将具有给定形状的热塑性油墨转移至另一个位置。
如图1所示实施方案的方框12所注明,在将热塑性油墨40印刷到纸背衬30上之后,使用粘合工艺将热塑性油墨转移到基底织物50上。粘合工艺可以是各种已知粘合工艺中的任意工艺,例如,热粘合、高频熔接(high frequency welding)、或者各种其他粘合工艺中的任意工艺。所提供的基底织物50可以为服装、鞋子、包、运动用配件、或各种其他物品中的任意一种的组成部分。本申请所用的术语“服饰”总体上是指覆盖物以及相关配件,包括(例如)服装、鞋子、手套、帽子和包。
图4示出了热粘合操作的示例性实施方案,其中粘合剂材料40为热塑性油墨。图4示出了服装的基底织物50,并且热塑性油墨40面向基底织物50。在图4所示的实施方案中,移动热压板22使其与纸背衬30相接触,由此驱使热塑性油墨40抵靠基底织物50。热压板22产生的热和压力使热塑性油墨与基底织物50相粘合。
如图1的方框14所注明,一旦热塑性油墨40被压板加热,就可使热塑性油墨40固化。随后,如图5所示,从热塑性油墨40上剥离纸背衬30。将纸背衬30从热塑性油墨40上剥离之后,热塑性油墨40暴露在基底织物50的表面上。
接着,如图1的方框16所注明、以及如图6的示意图所示,将附加材料60置于基底织物上的热塑性油墨上。附加材料60可以是织物或赋予基底材料50以功能性或装饰性要素的其他材料。例如,可以将附加材料设计成用来向基底材料提供口袋、拉链、图案或许多其他特征。本申请公开的附加材料60一般是位于基底材料上的覆盖层,但是也可以包括位于基底材料之上的下层或内层部分。附加材料60总体上具有与粘合到基底织物50上的热塑性油墨40相同的周边形状。因此,当将附加材料60置于基底织物上时,将附加材料60与热塑性油墨40对齐。
如图1的方框18所注明,在将附加材料置于热塑性油墨上之后,移动热压板24使其与附加材料60相接触。热压板24产生的热和压力使热塑性油墨粘合到附加材料60上,由此将附加材料60固定在基底织物50上。当然,应当认识到,在其他实施方案中,可以使用各种不同的粘合工艺中的任意工艺,用粘合剂材料40将附加材料60固定在基底织物上。例如,可以使用超声波熔接或其他熔接工艺,将粘合剂材料40粘合到附加层60上。
图7示出了服装的代表物,其中附加材料60已经被置于基底材料50上,该基底材料50形成衬衫70的一部分。附加层60具有梯形形状并且包括开口65。由于附加层60仅沿周边粘合到基底层50上,因此附加层60在衬衫70上形成了口袋,而开口65是该口袋的入口。在各种实施方案中,开口65可以是可关闭的(例如,具有拉链或纽扣)或者可以一直保持为打开状态。
虽然图7显示的是采用基底材料50提供衬衫,但应当认识到,可以采用基底材料50形成多种多样的其他服装、配件或其他服饰物品(包括裤子、帽子、鞋子、短袜、臂章、夹克、包或背包)中的任意物品。相应地,本申请所用的表述“服饰物品”旨在包括任何此类服装或配件,包括在上文提及的那些以及它们的等价物。另外,应当认识到,设置在基底材料上的附加层可以采取多种形式中的任意形式,并且为了多种目的(包括功能性或装饰性目的)中的任意目的而发挥作用。例如,图8示出了位于纸背衬30上的粘合剂材料40,其中粘合剂材料40的形式为星形,该粘合剂材料用于将类似星形的织物层粘合到基底织物上。另外,应当认识到,可以在将基底层成形为服装或其他服饰物品之前或之后,将附加材料粘合到基底层上。
上述工艺提供了一种将具有某种形状的材料粘合到基底织物上的方法,与以往的方法相比,该方法减少了废弃物的量。具体而言,与常规的模切方法相比,本申请所述的方法极大地减少了热塑性废弃物或其他粘合剂材料的量。另外,由于热塑性油墨在印刷时立即呈现出所需形状,因此,免去了模切步骤,从而使得在生产工艺过程中对粘合剂材料进行处理的操作大幅减少。这大大减少了制造相关产品所花费的时间和成本。另外,如果热塑性油墨被传送到成卷提供的纸背衬上,则粘合剂材料的处理会更加容易,并且可获得附加的效率。
虽然结合图1-8对图1进行了描述,从而描述了用于将附加材料粘合到纺织品上的方法中的至少一个实施方案,但应当认识到,可以构思其他实施方案。例如在一个备选的实施方案中,在将粘合剂材料40固定到基底织物50上之前,将粘合剂材料40从纸背衬30上移走。这样,在该实施方案中,图1中的步骤14发生在图1中的步骤12之前。在将粘合剂材料40(固体形式)从纸背衬30上剥离之后,将粘合剂材料40置于基底织物上。随后,可以在将附加层60布置成与粘合剂材料40相接触之前或之后,将粘合剂材料40粘合到基底织物50上。如果在将附加层60布置成与粘合剂材料40相接触之后进行粘合,则可以将粘合剂材料同时粘合到基底织物50和附加层上。
在用于将附加材料粘合到纺织品上的方法的备选实施方案中的另一个例子中,粘合剂材料40被直接印刷在基底织物50或附加层60上,而不是印刷在背衬层上。这进一步简化了图1所示的实施方案,因为这样就免去了该工艺中的背衬材料。在该实施方案中,在粘合剂材料被印刷到基底织物50或附加材料60上之后,使基底织物和附加材料60这两层彼此接触,并且使粘合剂材料粘合到基底织物50和附加材料60上。
在粘合剂材料被直接印刷在附加材料60上的实施方案中,在将粘合剂材料印刷在附加层60上之前或之后,必须对附加层60进行切割。相应地,在至少一个实施方案中,图3中的背衬片材30被附加材料片60取代。随后,将粘合剂材料40以预定的形状印刷在附加材料片60上。然后,将附加材料片60模切成预定形状,从而得到这样的覆盖层,沿该覆盖层的周边部分提供有粘合剂材料40。随后,将这些覆盖层放在织物基底层50上,并使用粘合剂材料40将该覆盖层粘合到基底层50上。
虽然已经参照某些优选实施方案描述了用于将附加材料粘合到纺织品上的方法,但本领域的技术人员应当理解的是,其他实施方式或适应性改变也是可行的。例如,虽然已公开的实施方案使用了热塑性油墨作为被加热和固化以形成粘合作用的粘合剂材料,但也可以使用其他类型的油墨,例如能够与织物形成粘合作用的UV油墨。因此,本申请所用的术语“油墨”总体上是指能够与印刷装置联合使用的任何物质。此外,应当认识到,对于本申请所描述的各个进步之处来说,有利的是,可获得各个进步之处而无需引入上述的其他方面。因此,任何最终的权利要求的精神和范围均不应局限于本申请所包含的优选实施方案的描述。
Claims (23)
1.一种将附加层附连到织物基底层上的方法,所述方法包括:
将粘合剂材料作为油墨印刷到背衬层上,所述粘合剂材料被印刷成与所述附加层的周边基本上匹配的形状;
将所述粘合剂材料粘合到所述织物基底层上;
将所述背衬层从所述粘合剂材料上剥离;
将所述附加层的所述周边与所述粘合剂材料对齐;以及
将所述附加层粘合到所述基底层上。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述附加层是织物层,并且所述背衬层是由纸、塑料膜、或有机硅涂覆的纸构成的。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中在将所述粘合剂材料粘合到所述织物基底层上之前,将所述背衬层从所述粘合剂材料上剥离。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中使用印刷头将所述粘合剂层印刷到所述背衬层上。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述粘合剂材料是热塑性油墨粘合剂。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述粘合剂材料是含有热塑性塑料的乳剂。
7.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中将所述粘合剂材料粘合到所述基底层上的步骤包括:加热所述热塑性油墨粘合剂。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法,其中将所述粘合剂材料粘合到所述基底层上的步骤包括:移动热压板使其与所述背衬层相接触,以加热所述热塑性油墨粘合剂。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中将所述粘合剂材料以封闭的周边形状印刷在所述背衬层上。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中在所述封闭的周边形状中形成开放区域,所述开放区域使所述背衬层暴露在外。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述开放区域的面积大于以所述封闭的周边形状印刷的所述粘合剂材料所覆盖的面积。
12.一种服饰物品,包括:
基底织物层;
附加织物部分,该附加织物部分设置在所述基底织物层上,并限定封闭的周边形状;以及
油墨粘合剂,该油墨粘合剂与所述基底织物层和所述附加织物层粘合,使得所述基底织物层与所述附加织物层相连,并且该油墨粘合剂被设置成与所述附加织物部分的所述封闭的周边形状基本上匹配的形状;
其中,通过包括以下步骤的工艺使所述附加织物部分与所述基底织物层相连:
将所述油墨粘合剂印刷成与所述附加织物部分的所述封闭的周边形状基本上匹配的形状;以及
将所述油墨粘合剂与所述基底织物层和所述附加织物部分粘合。
13.如权利要求12所述的服饰物品,其中将所述基底织物层构造成使得所述服饰物品形成夹克、衬衫、帽子、鞋子、袜子、裤子或包。
14.权利要求12所述的服饰物品,其中所述附加织物部分在所述基底织物层上提供口袋。
15.如权利要求12所述的服饰物品,其中所述附加织物部分在所述基底织物层上提供装饰性特征。
16.如权利要求12所述的服饰物品,其中所述油墨粘合剂是用印刷头印刷的热塑性油墨粘合剂。
17.如权利要求12所述的服饰物品,其中所述的使所述附加织物部分与所述基底织物层相连的工艺还包括:
将所述油墨粘合剂印刷在背衬层上,所述油墨粘合剂被印刷成与所述封闭的周边形状基本上匹配的形状,并且在所印刷的形状的内部限定有开放区域,所述开放区域基本上没有油墨粘合剂;
将所述背衬层从所述油墨粘合剂上剥离;
将所述附加织物部分的周边与所述基底织物层上的所述油墨粘合剂对齐;以及
用所述油墨粘合剂将所述附加织物部分粘合到所述基底层上。
18.如权利要求17所述的服饰物品,其中所述开放区域的面积大于形成所述封闭的周边形状的油墨粘合剂所覆盖的面积。
19.一种制备服饰物品的方法,所述服饰物品包括第一材料层和第二材料层,所述方法包括:
将油墨粘合剂层印刷成与所述第一材料层或所述第二材料层的封闭的周边形状基本上匹配的形状;
将所述油墨粘合剂层置于所述第一材料层上,其中所述油墨粘合剂层暴露在所述第一材料层上;
使所述第二材料层与暴露在所述第一材料层上的所述油墨粘合剂层相接触;以及
将所述第二材料层粘合到暴露在所述第一材料层上的所述油墨粘合剂层上。
20.如权利要求19所述的方法,其中所述第一材料层是所述服饰物品的织物基底层,并且所述第二材料层是所述服饰物品的附加部分。
21.如权利要求19所述的方法,其中所述第二材料层是所述服饰物品的织物基底层,并且所述第一材料层是所述服饰物品的附加部分。
22.如权利要求19所述的方法,其中所述油墨粘合剂层被印刷在所述第一材料层上,并且将所述油墨粘合剂层置于所述第一材料层上的步骤还包括:将所述油墨粘合剂层粘合到所述第一材料层上。
23.一种将附加层附连到织物基底层的方法,所述方法包括:
将热塑性粘合剂材料印刷到材料片的背面上,所述热塑性粘合剂被印刷成预定形状;
按所述预定形状来模切所述材料片,从而形成所述附加层,其中所述热塑性粘合剂材料沿所述附加层的周边延伸;以及
使用所述粘合剂材料将所述附加层粘合到所述基底层上。
