背景技术

优选地,刀固定地支承在切割装置中。由此能够省去在刀和砧座之间用于在超声焊极和砧座之间振动去耦合的弹性元件,这有助于进一步简化该装置和降低该装置的成本。另外由此简化刀的更换和校准。
另外优选切割装置设置在砧座的第一封接区域和第二封接区域之间。由此实现该装置的特别紧凑的结构。
本发明还涉及一种用于焊接和分割包装材料的方法。在此根据本发明如下地实现对包装的可靠封接和无接触且无磨损的分割,即在第一方法步骤中将包装材料定位在超声波焊接装置的超声焊极和砧座之间并且封接前面的包装的脚缝。接着在前面的包装和后面的包装之间切断包装材料,其中,不仅由超声焊极围绕第一旋转轴线而且由砧座围绕第二旋转轴线在包装材料的进给方向上分别执行旋转。切割装置的从砧座的面向超声焊极的表面突出的刀在此接触包装材料并且向着超声焊极的方向引导包装材料。超声焊接将包装材料置于振动中,使得包装材料被刀切断。在此,在超声焊接和砧座的任何位置中在刀和超声焊极之间都维持一个最小距离,从而在超声焊极和刀之间不发生接触。在最后的方法步骤中,封接后面的包装的头缝。
还优选的是,切割装置的切割力小于超声波焊接装置的封接力。这有助于改善包装的头缝和脚缝的封接质量。另外该刀优选是可调的,使得最小距离的大小能够适配于超声焊接的振幅并且根据包装材料的材料厚度和材料特性适配并且能够被校准。

具体实施方式
下面参照图1至4详细地描述根据本发明优选实施例的用于焊接和分割用于包装的包装材料的装置1。
如图1所示,用于焊接和分割包装材料的装置1包括具有超声焊极3和砧座5的超声波焊接装置2,形成前面的包装14和后面的包装15的包装材料4在用箭头标识的输送方向F上从超声焊极和砧座之间穿过。超声焊极3能够围绕第一旋转轴线X旋转并且砧座5能够围绕第二轴线Y旋转。
在砧座5内部设置具有刀7和调节装置9的切割装置6,借助该调节装置固定刀7以及在砧座5的径向上调节该刀。切割装置6设置在砧座5的第一封接区域12和第二封接区域13之间。在根据本发明的装置的一种替换实施方式中,在砧座5中也可以设置多个刀或一个具有附加刀刃的刀7,例如以便制造附加切口、尤其是撕裂切口。
如由图4的放大的示意性剖视图所示,刀7从砧座5的面向超声焊极3的表面10突出。在此,在以振幅D振动的超声焊接3的用虚线象征地示出的最大偏移时,在刀7的刀刃8和超声焊极3的顶点20之间维持一个最小距离S。该最小距离S优选位于5μm至50μm的范围中。如由图4还可看到,超声焊极的指向砧座5的表面11没有空槽且以角度α屋顶形地以小的斜率构成。该角度优选位于165°至175°的范围中并且在图4中举例地以α=172°示出。
包装的包装材料4的焊接和分割在三个步骤或位置中进行,这三个位置在图1至3中示出。在图1中所示的超声波焊接装置2的第一位置中,首先在第一封接区域12上封接前面的包装14的脚缝16,该脚缝在超声焊极3和砧座5之间固定。
在图2中所示的超声波焊接装置2的第二位置中,包装材料4在前面的包装14和后面的包装15之间被切断。为此,超声焊极3在箭头P1的方向上执行围绕其旋转轴线X的旋转并且砧座5在箭头P2的方向上执行围绕其旋转轴线Y的旋转,根据在图4中所示的实施例分别执行8°的旋转。由此超声焊极3的表面11的顶点20(见图4)和刀刃8在径向方向上相对。在图4中出于清楚的考虑没有示出的包装材料通过砧座5的旋转被刀7向着超声焊极3的方向提升或引导并且支承在刀刃8上。由于超声焊极3的振动,包装材料4在顶点20和刀的刀刃8之间被切断,其中,最小距离S小于或最多等于包装材料的材料厚度,从而在超声焊极3和刀7之间不发生机械接触。
在图3中所示的超声波焊接装置2的第三位置中,后面的包装15的头缝在第二封接区域13上被封接。为此,超声焊极3和砧座5分别在箭头P1或P2的方向上执行围绕其旋转轴线X或Y的另外的8°旋转并且在超声焊极3和砧座5之间封接后面的包装15的头缝17。
根据本发明的装置可以在传统的旋转的软管袋装机中使用或改装并且能够以最小切割力实现对包装材料的无接触的且无磨损的分割,最小切割力小于用于制造头缝和脚缝的封接力。由于超声波封接工具的旋转运动最小,能够实现非常短的工作记录和相应高的生产量。

Claims (12)

1.用于焊接和分割用于包装的包装材料(4)的装置,包括:
用于封接所述包装材料(4)的超声波焊接装置(2),所述超声波焊接装置具有超声焊极(3)和砧座(5),其中,所述超声焊极(3)能够围绕第一旋转轴线(X)旋转并且所述砧座(5)能够围绕第二旋转轴线(Y)旋转,和
用于分割所述包装材料(4)的、具有至少一个刀(7)的切割装置(6),所述切割装置设置在所述砧座(5)中,
其中,所述至少一个刀(7)这样地设置在所述砧座(5)上,使得在所述超声焊极(3)和所述刀(7)的刀刃(8)之间维持一个最小距离(S),从而所述包装材料(4)能够在所述超声焊极(3)和所述刀(7)之间没有接触的情况下被切断。
2.根据权利要求1所述的装置,还包括调节装置(9),所述调节装置在所述砧座(5)的径向方向上调节所述刀(7)在所述砧座(5)中的位置。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的装置,其特征在于,所述刀(7)具有附加刀刃,以便在所述包装材料(4)中构成附加切口、尤其是撕裂切口。
4.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述刀(7)仅稍微地、尤其是以5μm至50μm从所述砧座(5)的面向所述超声焊极(3)的表面(10)突出。
5.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述超声焊极(3)和所述刀(7)的刀刃(8)之间的所述最小距离(S)位于5μm至50μm的范围中。
6.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述超声焊极(3)的指向所述砧座(5)的表面(11)面状地且无空槽地构成。
7.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述超声焊极(3)以钝角屋顶形地构成。
8.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述刀(7)固定地支承在所述切割装置(6)中。
9.根据以上权利要求中任一项所述的装置,其特征在于,所述切割装置(6)设置在所述砧座(5)的第一封接区域(12)和第二封接区域(13)之间。
10.用于焊接和分割包装材料(4)的方法,包括以下步骤:
将所述包装材料(4)定位在超声波焊接装置(2)的超声焊极(3)和砧座(5)之间并且封接前面的包装(14)的脚缝(16),
在前面的包装(14)和后面的包装(15)之间分割所述包装材料(4),其中,不仅由所述超声焊极(3)围绕第一旋转轴线(X)而且由所述砧座(5)围绕第二旋转轴线(Y)在所述包装材料(4)的进给方向(F)上分别执行旋转,切割装置(6)的从所述砧座(5)的面向所述超声焊极(3)的表面(10)突出的刀(7)接触所述包装材料(4)并且向着所述超声焊极(3)的方向引导所述包装材料(4),使得所述包装材料(4)被所述刀(7)切断,其中,在任何位置中在所述刀(7)和所述超声焊极(3)之间都维持一个最小距离(S),从而在所述超声焊极(3)和所述刀(7)之间不发生接触,并且
封接后面的包装(15)的头缝(17)。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,所述切割装置(6)的切割力小于所述超声波焊接装置(2)的封接力。
12.根据权利要求10或11所述的方法,其特征在于,所述刀(7)是可调节的。
