Abstract

技术领域
本发明的实施例总体涉及一种在汽车事故或者其它紧急情况下通知应急响应者的方法和系统。
背景技术
ONSTAR提供了一种“安全&声音(SAFE&SOUND)”程序,其中,为人的“建议者”从配置有“ONSTAR”的车辆上即时回复(field)紧急呼叫。通过按下位于乘客舱内(例如,在后视镜之下)的紧急按钮在车辆上手动启动呼叫,或者在碰撞情况下气囊展开时自动启动呼叫。如本领域中所公知的,可使用安装在车辆内的一个或更多的加速度计(accelerometer)或者其它碰撞检测装置来检测碰撞。

发明内容

本发明的实施例使得用户定制在紧急情况下陈述给响应者的信息。例如,用户可访问与本发明相关联的数据库或者其它数据存储装置,以限定或者另外定制在紧急呼叫事件中将被陈述给应急响应者的信息,例如,姓名、住址、血型、医疗过敏症、医生联系人信息、亲属等。
本发明的实施例使得应急响应者接收紧急电话以在各种能够得到的信息之中进行选择,所述信息在响应该紧急情况时可能是有用的。响应者可被提供语音合成菜单以使用DTMF音在所述能够得到的信息之中进行重复和/或选择。在这种情况下,可首先报告来接收最紧急的信息,例如车辆位置、人员数量等,接下来可在响应者的决定下获得其他重要的信息。本发明的另一实施例给响应者提供对驾驶员/乘客紧急信息的在线访问。

如果与第一蜂窝电话的第一通信链路丢失,则本发明的另一实施例建立与车辆内的第二蜂窝电话的第二通信链路。
本发明的另一实施例启动蜂窝电话拨打预限定的联系人的电话号码,而不是应急响应者的电话号码,并将语音信号传输到预限定的联系人。

具体实施方式
图1示出了物理系统架构,该架构可被执行以实施本发明的一个或更多的方面。方框10总体上包括车辆子系统,一些车辆子系统可通过车辆网络12(例如控制器域网络或者其它合适的通信网络)互相连接。
数据处理器16可通过合适的网络接口或总线适配器24跨过车辆网络12接收或者发送信息。如本领域所公知的,数据处理器16可以是与通常用途的易失存储器26和通常用途的非易失存储装置或者永久存储装置22(例如磁存储器或闪存存储器)进行总线通信的传统的RISC或CISC处理器。还可设置可移除的存储器40,例如具有通用串行总线(USB)接口(未显示)的压缩闪存卡或者闪速存储器模块。
全球定位信号接收器/处理器14可被实现为从导航信号定时和测距(Navigation Signal Timing and Ranging,NAVSTAR)全球定位系统的多个卫星接收无线信号(例如UHF波段中的1575.42MHz的频率L1)。这些信号可包括识别发送卫星的伪随机码、星历表数据和历书数据。全球定位信号接收器/处理器14可处理该数据以确定车辆的二维位置(例如纬度和经度)、三维位置(例如,纬度、经度和海拔)、速度和/或方向。在全球定位信号接收器/处理器14上计算的位置、速度和/或方向信息可跨过车辆网络12发送到数据处理器16和/或通过链路18直接发送到数据处理器16。

与数据处理器16通信的另一子系统包括用于将从数据处理器16接收到的数字信息转换为听得见的语音信号(即,模拟声音信号)的语音合成器或解码器28。模拟声音信号可以通过扬声器32传输或者在收发器38处进行处理,以跨过下面将更加详细讨论的微微网46传输到蜂窝电话50的收发器(未显示)。如自动化电话菜单系统的领域所公知的,可设置双音多频(DTMF)接口30以接收模拟DTMF频率并将其处理为发送到数据处理器16的命令信号。
收发器38可与蜂窝电话50或者其它可用的装置建立微微网46。蜂窝电话50是非永久地集成到车辆内的临时蜂窝通信装置的示例。临时蜂窝通信装置的另一示例可以是具有蜂窝通信和微微网通信能力的膝上计算机。
在一个示例中,收发器38可包括蓝牙控制器。本领域技术人员应当认识到也可使用具有不同通信特性和性能的其它收发器。
如图2中所示出的,蓝牙控制器可包括链路管理器层82、基带层84和无线电层86。无线电层86可包括使用二进制频率调制在2.4GHz操作的射频模块。
基带层84可包括基带资源管理器92,该基带资源管理器92用于管理通过逻辑链路和逻辑传输连接的装置之间的数据的交换以及无线电介质的使用以执行询问、进行连接或者能够被发现。
基带层84还可包括链路控制器90,该链路控制器90处理来自于数据净荷和与物理信道、逻辑传输和逻辑链路相关的参数的蓝牙包的编码和解码。链路控制器90执行用于传输流控制和确认以及重发请求信号的链路控制协议信令。
装置管理器94控制蓝牙启动装置(Bluetooth enabled device)的总体行为。装置管理器94负责不与数据传输直接相关的蓝牙系统的操作,例如询问其他附近装置的存在、连接其他装置或使其他装置能够发现或连接本装置。
链路管理器层82可包括用于管理逻辑链路和/或逻辑传输的创建、修改和释放以及与装置之间的物理链路相关的参数的更新的链路管理器96。链路管理器可通过使用链路管理协议(LMP)与远程蓝牙装置中的链路管理器通信来实现这些功能。LMP允许当需要时创建装置之间的新的逻辑链路和逻辑传输以及链路和传输属性的一般控制(例如在逻辑传输上启动加密、在物理链路上调节传输功率或者调整对逻辑链路的QoS设置)。
其他车辆子系统10包括用于向车辆乘客通知收发器38和蜂窝电话50之间的通信链路的状态的链路状态指示器36。状态包括但不限于配对的、不配对的、连接的、不连接的等可用的装置。在一个实施例中,在液晶显示器(LCD)上指示通信链路的状态。在另一个实施例中,设置一个或更多的发光二极管(LED)或其它的可视指示器。在再一个实施例中,通过车辆声音系统和/或扬声器32提供听得见的状态通知。链路状态可由与收发器38与数据处理器16一起监视。
选择/取消开关34还可与数据处理器16连接,以对下面将详细描述的微处理器/系统功能进行按压开关控制。选择/取消开关34可以是与LCD显示器结合操作的软开关,或者是由在麦克风32处接收并由语音合成器28和/或微处理器16处理的声音命令操作的软件开关。
子系统10和外部通信网络之间的各种不同的互联可在本发明的范围内实施,而不限于图1中示出的那些。例如,在蜂窝电话50与数据处理器16、语音合成器28和/或DTMF接口30之间可建立硬线连接。在另一示例中,数据处理器16可直接或间接连接到紧急传感器模块28,并且可监视紧急传感器模块结合的端口而不是车辆网络12。
在本发明的一个实施例中,蜂窝电话50建立与陆地塔52之间的无线通信48。陆地塔52反过来通过电话交换网络54建立与应急响应者56的通信。应急响应者可包括如下面将更加详细描述的警察、救护车、911公共安全接入点(PASP)等。陆地塔52还可通过电话交换网络54建立与在下面将更加详细描述的其它联系人58的通信。
在本发明的另一实施例中,陆地塔52可通过电话交换网络54建立与网络服务器60上的数据接口(未显示)的通信。如下面将更加详细描述的,数据可以从关联的数据库68上载传输到与微处理器16相关联的存储装置22或者从与微处理器16相关联的存储装置22下载传输到关联的数据库68,如虚线70所示。
具有相关联的存储装置68的网络服务器60可通过多个浏览者(包括但不限于应急响应者66、蜂窝电话所有者64、健康照顾提供者等)提供(host)用于因特网访问62的多个网页。如下面将更加详细描述的,一些浏览者(例如蜂窝电话所有者64)可通过因特网62将数据上载到存储装置68,其它浏览者(例如应急响应者66)可下载数据。
图3示出了用于实施本发明的实施例的示例算法100。本领域技术人员应当认识到本发明的范围不限于在图3中示出的特定算法。示出的过程可被修改为适于本发明的具体的实施。在图3中示出的过程可由一个或更多的处理器(例如在图1中示出的数据处理器16)实施。不需要特定类型的处理器或构造。
在步骤102,可与车辆乘客舱中的可用的蜂窝电话或者车辆乘客舱附近的可用的蜂窝电话建立本地通信链路。该链路可以是蓝牙微微网或者其它适合的有线的或无线的短程网络。在步骤104和106,可连续或以固定时间间隔监视通信链路的状态。链路的状态可包括配对的蜂窝电话的连通性、信号强度、其它可用装置的身份等。如参照图1所描述的,链路状态可以由LCD显示器、LED或可听装置(audibly)报告。优选地,当链路中断或者没有可用的链路时,给车辆舱内的乘客提供警告或其它通知。

“警告。本车辆中的安全传感器已经检测到车辆碰撞。车辆安全系统在10秒内将自动地联系应急响应者。如果您想中止此次呼叫请按下您的取消键或者说取消。”
当然,可提供数目不限的不同的通知。这些通知可被预记录、预定义或者基于检测到的具体的紧急情况和/或车辆内的具体乘客动态创建。优选地,通知被重复。在步骤114,给车辆乘客提供使用选择/取消开关22或在麦克风32和语音合成器28处接收到的语音命令来取消紧急呼叫的机会。如果接收到取消信号,则过程停止,并返回到块104处的监视链路状态。
如果在步骤114不中断紧急呼叫,则在步骤118收集紧急信息。紧急信息可包括车辆信息116和乘客信息120。车辆信息116可包括来自GPS接收器/处理器14的纬度、经度、方向、最新的速度等、街道位置(如果车辆配备有地图数据20的话)、车辆类型/颜色、车辆紧急状况(例如、碰撞、着火、倾翻、汽油泄漏等)、乘客的数量、座椅安全带状态等。乘客信息120可包括姓名、年龄、住址、血型、医学敏感症、医学状况、保险信息、医师信息(physicianinformation)、紧急联系人等。紧急信息可被存储于多个存储位置,包括存储器26、存储装置22、可移除的存储器40或与蜂窝电话50相关联的存储装置51。
乘客身份可通过与收发器38配对的蜂窝电话50的所有者、麦克风32的语音输入、车辆控制台显示器(未显示)上的用户输入、或包括钥匙标识符(key identifier)、存储器密钥标识符(memory key identifier)等的其它手段来确定。
在步骤118收集紧急信息之后,可进行另一乘客通知,警告乘客将进行紧急呼叫并给乘客提供取消该呼叫的机会,如上面参照步骤112和114描述的。该步骤由虚线128表示。
如果不取消紧急呼叫,在步骤121,收发器38(例如蓝牙控制器)可在蜂窝电话50上发起对一个或更多的应急响应者56或其它联系人的呼叫。如果呼叫不能被启动,则在块122,系统尝试建立与车辆中的或车辆附近的另一蜂窝电话的连接,并传输如在块121中表示的紧急信息。

紧急信息还可被储存于与网络服务器68相关联的数据库68中以在紧急情况下被应急响应者66因特网访问。在一个实施例中,到应急响应者56的语音传输包括用于通过因特网62访问服务器60上的乘客紧急信息的指示。在这种方式下,应急响应者56和/或66能够容易地访问所有的乘客紧急信息。

Claims (16)
1.一种用于向应急响应者通知车辆出现紧急状况的方法,该方法包括:
在车辆内建立与第一蜂窝电话的第一通信链路;
监视第一通信链路的连接状态,并且如果第一通信链路丢失,则给车辆乘客产生指示;
监视指示与车辆相关联的紧急状况的紧急信号的接收;
如果紧急信号被接收到:
(a)从全球定位系统检索车辆的位置;
(b)向车辆的乘客指示蜂窝电话将呼叫应急响应者以报告该紧急状况和车辆位置;
(c)监视输入装置以确定乘客是否已经取消该紧急呼叫;
(d)如果乘客没有取消该紧急呼叫,则启动蜂窝电话来拨打应急响应者的电话号码;
(e)将表示该车辆的紧急状况和位置的数据处理成语音信号;
(f)通过第一通信链路将该语音信号传输到应急响应者。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
在数据存储装置中存储多个乘客信息或车辆信息;
向应急响应者呈现语音菜单选项以选择所述多个乘客信息或车辆信息中的一个或多个项目;
将选择的项目处理成语音信号;
通过第一通信链路将该语音信号传输到应急响应者。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述乘客信息或车辆信息中的一个或多个项目被:
(a)传输到网络浏览器;
(b)通过因特网从网络浏览器传输到网络服务器;
(c)从网络服务器传输到蜂窝电话;
(d)从蜂窝电话传输到车辆内的数据处理器;
(e)储存于数据存储装置内。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中,所述乘客信息或车辆信息中的一个或多个项目被下载到所述数据存储装置。

启动蜂窝电话以拨打应急响应者之外的预先限定的联系人的电话号码;
将所述语音信号传输到所述预先限定的紧急联系人。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述通信链路是蓝牙链路。
10.一种用于向应急响应者通知车辆出现紧急状况的设备,该设备包括数据处理器,该数据处理器与下列装置进行通信:
(a)全球定位系统,用于将表示车辆位置的数据的电信号提供到数据处理器;
(b)紧急传感器,用于检测车辆的紧急状况,并将指示紧急状态的电信号提供到数据处理器;
(c)语音合成器,用于将表示车辆位置的电信号和紧急呼叫通知转化为语音信号;
(d)扬声器,用于可听得见地将所述紧急呼叫通知转发给车辆乘客;
(e)输入装置,监视响应于紧急呼叫通知乘客取消紧急呼叫;
(f)通信模块,用于建立与车辆内的第一蜂窝电话的第一通信链路,如果该紧急呼叫未被乘客取消,则在该蜂窝电话上启动拨打给应急响应者的呼叫并将表示车辆位置的语音信号传输到该蜂窝电话以与应急响应者进行电话通信。
11.如权利要求11所述的设备,还包括:与所述数据处理器进行通信的数据存储装置,该数据存储装置用于存储多个乘客信息或车辆信息,其中,所述多个乘客信息或车辆信息中的一个或多个项目在语音合成器处被处理成语音信号以传输到应急响应者。
12.如权利要求12所述的设备,其中,所述通信模块被配置成提供将所述多个乘客信息或车辆信息进行分类的语音菜单,并接收一个或更多的触音信号以选择提供哪些项目。
13.如权利要求11所述的设备,其中,所述通信模块被配置成监视与第一蜂窝电话的第一通信链路的状态,并且如果该第一通信链路丢失时给车辆乘客产生指示。
14.如权利要求14所述的设备,其中,所述通信模块被配置成如果与第一蜂窝电话的第一通信链路丢失时建立与第二蜂窝电话的第二通信链路。
15.如权利要求11所述的设备,其中,所述通信模块被配置为拨打应急响应者以外的预先限定的联系人的电话号码并与该所述预先限定的紧急联系人进行语音通信。
16.如权利要求11所述的设备,其中,所述通信模块是蓝牙控制器。
