Abstract

本发明公开了一种汽车仪表板副驾驶侧气囊门的结构和相应的制造方法。汽车仪表板气囊门结构包括骨架、气囊加强板、压板、发泡层和表皮;骨架上带有气囊开口,气囊加强板覆盖在气囊开口上并延伸覆盖住气囊开口以外的部分区域。所述气囊加强板是由经热塑性塑料或热塑性弹性体浸润的纤维质复合材料,经加热模压的方法制造成型。此结构和制造方法减轻了气囊门可翻转活动部分的重量,解决了气囊展开时气囊门击碎挡风玻璃,玻璃碎屑危害乘员安全的问题。

Description

汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门及其制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种汽车仪表板安全气囊门及其制造方法,具体地说,涉及一种用于覆盖汽车仪表板的乘员侧安全气囊的安全气囊门及其制造方法。
背景技术
目前,绝大多数采用U型开口的副驾驶侧气囊的汽车仪表板,都采用含有金属材质加强板的气囊门。金属加强板一般采用铆接、卡接或嵌件注塑等方式,与仪表板骨架的材料连接在一起,起到局部增强的作用。在车辆发生碰撞事故,副驾驶侧气囊充气展开时,金属加强板有助于保持副驾驶侧气囊门结构完整,避免气囊门出现断裂、碎裂或不恰当的变形等情况。含有金属加强板的气囊门因具有可靠性高,耐候性能好等优点,因而应用广泛。
金属加强板的主要缺点是自重较大。不计仪表板表皮、泡沫等,仅气囊开口面积以内,可翻转活动部分的金属材质重量即超过250g。取决于汽车坐舱的设计结构,在大多数情况下,副驾驶侧气囊充气展开时,气囊门和前挡风玻璃之间仍能保持一定的距离,不会发生气囊门撞击挡风玻璃的情况。但是当汽车坐舱的设计受到其它方面的限制,副驾驶侧气囊充气展开时气囊门必然会撞击在挡风玻璃上时,包含金属加强板,自重较大的气囊门很容易将挡风玻璃打碎,玻璃碎屑对乘员的生命安全是潜在的威胁。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门及其制造方法,在满足汽车仪表板产品的外观和总成性能要求、制造可行的前提下,减轻气囊门可翻转活动部分的重量,即使气囊充气展开时气囊门会撞击到挡风玻璃,也不发生挡风玻璃被打碎的情况。
为了达到上述目的,本发明的技术方案如下:
一种汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,包括带有气囊开口的仪表板骨架部分,发泡层和表皮,以及覆盖在气囊开口上与仪表板骨架部分相连接的气囊加强板,所述气囊加强板是经热塑性塑料或热塑性弹性体浸润的纤维质复合材料板。
制造上述汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门的方法,首先通过加热模压的方法成型气囊加强板,然后将气囊加强板和压板预装在仪表板骨架上,再将表皮和预装好气囊加强板和压板的骨架置入模具中,充入发泡层,成型产品。
采用经热塑性塑料或弹性体浸润的纤维质复合材料制成的气囊加强板,由于复合材料的自身的重量远轻于金属件,大大减轻了安全气囊门可翻转活动部分的重量。经聚丙烯浸润的玻纤片材热压成型后,其形状稳定性、力学性能稳定性均满足气囊门爆破的要求。带有这种轻质复合材料的气囊门,可有效的避免气囊充气展开时气囊门可能会撞击到挡风玻璃,将挡风玻璃打碎的情况。

具体实施方式
下面根据图1至图7,给出本发明的较佳实施例,并予以详细描述,使能更好地理解本实发明的功能、特点。
参考图1和图2,汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门1位于仪表板乘员侧的安全气囊展开口2处,包括带有气囊开口的仪表板骨架部分11,发泡层12和表皮13,以及覆盖在气囊开口上与仪表板骨架部分相连接的气囊加强板10。气囊加强板10远离乘员的一端被压板3压紧,与仪表板骨架焊接、铆接或是螺栓连接在一起,并在打开时沿压板折弯,还可以是气囊压板3本身带有可弯折的部分,穿过/绕过气囊加强板10和骨架11上的小开孔,经折弯变形扣在骨架上。气囊加强板10另外的三端由气囊贴纸4将气囊门和骨架相密封,防止发泡逃料。
当安全气囊触发时,在气袋的高压下,安全气囊门1瞬间按仪表板骨架2上弱化线,绕金属铰链翻转开,提供气囊袋展开的空间,从而提供对乘员侧人员的保护。
气囊加强板10采用经热塑性塑料或热塑性弹性体浸润的纤维质复合材料经加热模压的方法制造成型。热塑性塑料可以是聚丙烯(PP),或者是以聚丙烯为基的共混物,如PP/EPDM,PP/PE等。热塑性弹性体可以是热塑性聚烯烃(TPO),也可以是丙烯氰-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS),或者是丙烯氰-丁二烯-苯乙烯与聚碳酸脂的混合物(ABS/PC)。起增强作用的纤维质复合材料,可以是玻璃纤维、麻纤维、棉纤维、竹纤维中的至少一种。
纤维质复合材料应具备如下关键特性:
面密度1300~1800g/m2,优选的为1500g/m2
纤维质复合材料加工成型成气囊门以后,在气囊爆破试验、暴晒试验要求的温度范围内保持形状稳定、力学性能稳定。气囊爆破试验要求的温度范围是-30℃和102℃,暴晒应达到130℃24小时加110℃24小时,或102℃168小时。形状稳定,是指在上述温度范围内,气囊门的形状不发生显著的变化,引起仪表板产品表面凹凸的变化。力学性能稳定,主要指该材料具有一定的抗冲击性能,尤其指在-30℃低温爆破时,不至于碎裂成小块并飞出。
较好的实施例是经热塑性塑料或热塑性弹性体浸润的玻璃纤维片材,如经聚丙烯浸润的玻璃纤维片材,或称轻质玻纤毡。
玻纤毡材料是一片2到3mm厚的平板。玻璃纤维本身就是一根一根几个微米直径的玻璃棒。两根玻纤之间,除万有引力和分子间作用力之外,没有黏附关系。经聚丙烯浸润后,无序排列的玻纤可以在高于聚丙烯软化温度的条件下,被压制成并一直保持一定的形状。
气囊加强板10的表面,尤其在与发泡层12相接触的一面,应和聚氨酯发泡料相容,形成紧密的结合面,爆破时不发生泡沫和气囊门相剥离的情况。气囊加强板10的表面还可以复合一层致密的材料,如丙烯氰-丁二烯-苯乙烯与聚氯乙稀的混合物(PVC/ABS)、或热塑性聚氨酯(TPU),以薄膜或喷涂的方法复合到气囊加强板表面,气囊门聚氨酯形成紧密的结合面,杜绝发泡原料可以渗入气囊门的情况,爆破时不发生泡沫和气囊门相剥离的目的。
气囊加强板10的加热模压成型方法如图3至图4所示
首先将面密度1500g/m2的气囊加强板10的平板状原料裁剪成适合模具尺寸的坯料5,将平板状坯料5夹持在加热装置6中。加热装置6可以为红外加热原件。平板状坯料5竖直悬挂在两面加热板60,61之间,两面加热板60,61间距20cm左右。控制加热功率,使坯料5在5分钟内被加热到并保持在160℃到200℃范围内一段时间,使材料表面和中间层的温度能够比较均匀。
加热完成后,将平板状坯料从加热装置6中移到成形模具7的下模70上,合模压制。模具上下型面与设计所需的气囊加强板形状相吻合,采用钢材或硬质铝合金制造,为提高生产效率,热压成形模具中可带有冷却水道。在本实施例中,合模压力为30吨,保压时间1分钟,模具温度30℃到70℃。
保压完成后,开模将气囊加强板10取出,通过冲切或裁剪的方法,去除坯料5的边缘,得到气囊加强板10成品。
热压成型是一种已知的,通用的工艺,如车顶棚,门板,车地毯、隔音垫等,都有采用热压成型工艺制造的情况。加热方式多种多样,对应与传导、对流、辐射三种传热方式,分别有热板加热,热风加热和红外加热。加热方式、加热所花费的时间,根据不同的产品要求而不同。加热达到的温度,应该介于热塑性塑料或弹性体的软化温度和分解温度之间。在我们的实施例中,有效的做法是加热达到160到200℃之间。达到上述成型加工温度后,在原料冷却超出成型温度范围之前将材料移入成型模具,合模加压。加压程度,既可以由压力控制,也可以由模具上的止位块限制合模高度。在我们的实施例中,施加了大约30吨的力,到0.3×0.25m2的毛坯上,压力是4MPa,成型后产品的厚度大约是1.3mm。
汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门制造方法如图5至图7所示。
如前所述,气囊加强板10采用轻质玻纤毡,经加热模压的方法,制成所需的形状;
如图5所示,首先将气囊加强板10和压板3预装在仪表板骨架11上;
如图6所示,表皮13和预装好气囊加强板10、压板3的骨架11放在模具8,填入发泡层12;
完成生产仪表板总成的其它工序,比如去除发泡边缘、焊接、装配其它零件等等,图7为去除表皮层和发泡层的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门覆盖在安全气囊开口处的透视图。
表皮13可以使用粉末原料通过搪塑工艺成型,也可以使用片材,通过加热抽真空的方法成形;表皮13成形后,须在气囊开口的轮廓线位置做弱化,使得这条线上的表皮,比其它位置的表皮薄,气囊展开时,表皮沿这条弱化线撕裂。表皮弱化的方法可以是冷刀弱化、热刀弱化或激光弱化等;仪表板骨架通过注塑成形。
前面提供了对较佳实施例的描述,以使本领域内的任何技术人员可使用或利用本发明。对该较佳实施例,本领域内的技术人员在不脱离本发明原理的基础上,可以作出各种修改或者变换。应当理解,说明书中所举的实施例仅是一种较佳实施例,对该实施例做出的修改或者变换都不脱离本发明的保护范围。

Claims (9)

1.一种汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,包括带有气囊开口的仪表板骨架部分,发泡层和表皮,以及覆盖在气囊开口上与仪表板骨架部分相连接的气囊加强板,其特征在于,所述气囊加强板是经热塑性塑料或热塑性弹性体浸润的纤维质复合材料板。
2.如权利要求1所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述纤维质复合材料是玻璃纤维、麻纤维、棉纤维和竹纤维中的至少一种。
3.如权利要求1所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述热塑性塑料可以是聚丙烯。
4.如权利要求1所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述热塑性弹性体可以是丙烯氰-丁二烯-苯乙烯与聚碳酸脂的混合物(ABS/PC),或热塑性聚烯烃(TPO),或丙烯氰-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)。
5.如权利要求1所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述气囊加强板是经聚丙烯浸润的玻璃纤维板。
6.如权利要求1至5任一权利要求所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述气囊加强板延伸覆盖至气囊开口以外的部分区域,气囊加强板远离乘员的一端与仪表板骨架通过压板相连接,在气囊打开时可沿压板翻转,气囊加强板的其他端边通过气囊贴纸与仪表板骨架部分相密封。
7.如权利要求1至5任一权利要求所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门,其特征在于,所述气囊加强板的表面还复合有一层致密的材料。
8.一种制造如权利要求1所述的汽车仪表板乘员侧安全气囊门的方法,其特征在于,首先通过加热模压的方法成型气囊加强板,然后将气囊加强板和压板预装在仪表板骨架上,再将表皮和预装好气囊加强板和压板的骨架置入模具中,充入发泡层,成型产品。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述气囊加强板的加热温度范围为160~200度。
