Abstract

本申请是申请日为2004年10月29日,申请号为200410090156.X,题为“使用便携终端中的触摸屏输入字符的装置和方法”的专利申请的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明一般涉及使用便携终端中的触摸屏输入字符的装置和方法,特别涉及无错输入字符的装置和方法。
背景技术
所说的便携终端装备有触摸屏,其主要的例子是PDA(个人数字助理)。
通常,PDA的主要部件是计算机,即CPU(中央处理器)、存储器和OS(操作系统),以及各种软件程序和基于该OS的外围设备。所述PDA用来收集、存储、形成和搜索信息。近来,PDA已经发展成多功能的设备,装备有便携电话组件,可以进行语音呼叫和数据通信(即因特网浏览)。
PDA的一种流行例子是PamComputing公司生产的Palm Pilot,并且其他类似的个人便携数字设备也称作PDA。在运行在微软的Windows CE上的产品当中,没有键盘而使用笔的设备称作PPC(掌上PC),而使用键盘的设备称作HPC(手持PC)。术语“PDA”包括所有这类设备。
所说的PDA通常装配有触摸屏。所说触摸屏包括LCD(液晶显示器)和安装在该LCD上的触摸板。用户通过用手指或触控笔来触击所述触摸屏上的图标,或者通过显示在预定区域的键盘输入字符来调用相应的应用程序。
PDA这样的小尺寸设备,由于受限的屏幕尺寸引发的错误,要做频繁的字符编辑。也就是说,所述PDA有不方便的缺点,并且由于频繁编辑而造成不必要的时间耗费。
发明内容
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种通过便携终端的触摸屏无错输入字符的装置和方法。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种装置和方法,用于在屏幕的预定区域显示输入字符,并且,当通过便携终端中的触摸屏输入字符时,如果感知触击完成,用于向所述屏幕的主区域输入所显示的字符。
通过使用便携终端中触摸屏上显示的键盘输入字符的装置和方法实现上述的目的。
根据本发明,所述方法包括:当显示了所述键盘,确定是否已产生触击信号;如果触击信号产生,通过分析所述触击信号,识别所触击的字符;在预定的屏幕区域放大显示所述字符;当显示了所述字符,确定所述触击是否已经完成;以及,如果感知所述触击完成,在主屏幕区域显示所述字符。
根据本发明,所述装置包含:触摸屏,用于在其较低位置显示键盘,并且,当在字符输入方式下,如果感知有所述键盘上的触击,则产生触击信号;触击信号接收器,用于通过分析从所述触摸屏接收的所述模拟触击信号,产生相应于所述触击位置的位置数据;以及控制器,用于通过分析从所述触击信号接收器接收的所述位置数据识别所触击的字符,在所述触摸屏的预定区域放大显示所述字符,确定所述触击是否已经完成,并且,如果感知所述触击完成,在光标位置输入所述字符。

具体实施方式
下面将参照附图说明本发明的优选实施例。在下面的说明中,为避免不必要的细节会使本发明更不清楚,对公知的功能和构造,不做详细的说明。
本发明涉及使用便携终端中触摸屏无错输入字符的技术。本发明特别涉及使用触摸屏输入字符的方法,其中,当通过触击显示在触摸屏上的键盘输入所述字符时,所触击的字符显示在屏幕的预定区域,并且,当感知该触击完成,显示在屏幕的所述区域的字符被输入到屏幕的主区域。
图1是根据本发明的便携终端的框图。这里所说的“便携终端”是指任何具有触摸屏的终端,例如,蜂窝电话、PCS(个人通信系统)、PDA和IMT-2000(国际移动通信2000)电话。下面的说明是对这些终端的共同结构而言。
参见图1,MPU(微处理器单元)100对便携终端提供整体控制。特别地,MPU 100控制数据处理和通信。根据本发明,除了其通常的功能,MPU100控制通过触击显示在触摸屏102上的键盘输入字符时的无错字符输入。MPU 100的通常处理和控制不在这里描述。
存储器101包括程序存储器、数据存储器和非易失性存储器。程序存储器存储用于控制便携终端整个操作的程序。它可以是闪存。数据存储器临时性地存储便携终端操作期间产生的数据。RAM(随机存取存储器)可用作所述数据存储器。非易失性存储器存储为了缩短拨号时间而登入的电话号码,以及系统参数。非易失性存储器可以是EEPROM(电可擦除可编程只读存储器)。
触摸屏102包括LCD 103和安装在LCD 103上的触摸板104。触摸屏102显示便携终端操作期间产生的状态信息,并且可以显示运动画面和静态图像。触摸屏102输出相应于对触击信号接收器105的触击的电模拟信号。触击信号接收器105分析来自触摸屏102的电模拟信号,并向MPU 100输出相应于所触击位置的位置数据。
键区106具有多个数字键和功能按钮。键区106向MPU 100输出相应于所摁按钮的按钮输入数据。
无线通信组件107是用于根据预定的通信标准与基站通信的组件。它可以包含RF(射频)组件和BBA(基带模拟)。
CODEC(编码解码器)108连接到MPU 100,并且,扬声器110和麦克风109连接到CODEC 108,共同构成话音输入/输出块,用在电话呼叫和话音录音中。CODEC将从MPU 100接收的PCM(脉冲编码调制)数据转换成模拟话音信号,并通过扬声器110输出。CODEC还将通过麦克风109接收的话音信号转换成PCM数据,并向MPU 100提供该PCM数据。
图2是示出根据本发明的实施例的、当通过触击显示在便携终端中触摸屏上的键盘输入字符时无错输入字符的操作的流程图。
参见图2,当设定字符输入方式,在步骤201,MPU 100首先在屏幕的预定区域(即较低位置)显示键盘。
当显示了键盘,在步骤203,MPU 100确定是否已经从触击信号接收器105接收了触击信号。如果接收了触击信号,在步骤205,MPU 100通过分析该触击信号,识别用户触击的字符,并在步骤207,在预定的屏幕区域提供该字符的放大视图。
在步骤209,MPU 100通过分析从触击信号接收器105接收的触击信号,确定该触击是否已经完成。如果该触击还没有完成,MPU 100返回到步骤205。即,MPU 100通过分析来自触击信号接收器105的触击信号,识别用户触击的字符,并在预定的屏幕区域提供该字符的放大视图。
另一方面,如果感知该触击完成,在步骤211,MPU 100在屏幕的主区域显示该字符,并返回到步骤203,确定是否已经接收了触击信号。即,MPU100在主屏幕区域的光标位置输入该字符。
如上所述,在本发明中,在预定的屏幕区域放大显示所触击的字符,并且,如果感知该触击完成,所触击的字符输入到主屏幕区域中。如果该触击没有完成,所触击的字符就不输入到主屏幕区域。
为了更好地理解本发明,将结合图3说明示例性的应用。图3示出了根据本发明实施例的、当通过触击显示在便携终端中触摸屏上的键盘输入字符时形成的屏幕显示。
图3(a)示出了屏幕,其中,输入字符在较高位置显示,并且键盘显示在较低位置。这里,已经输入了“abcdef”。当用户在这个状态触击键盘上的“x”,则“x”放大显示在预定的屏幕区域,如图3(b)所示。由于用户还没有完成该触击,“x”没有输入到主屏幕区域。
如果用户想输入“c”,而不是“x”,用户将输入工具,如他的手指或触控笔,移动到“c”,摁该键盘。则“c”被显示。当用户完成该触击,则“c”显示在主屏幕区域,如图3(c)所示。
根据如上所述的本发明,所触击的字符在预定的屏幕区域放大显示,并且,如果感知该触击完成,所触击的字符输入到主屏幕区域中。因此,在其被输入之前,用户可以确认他所触击的字符,这样可以显著降低输入错误。
尽管参照其特定实施例示出并说明了本发明,但这只是示例性的应用。例如,所触击的字符在主屏幕的光标位置放大或以原有的尺寸显示,并且,当该触击完成,输入所触击的字符。在这种情况下,如果在前面的触击没有完成时感知有另外的触击,相应的新字符替换前面的字符。因此,本领域的普通技术人员可以理解,在不脱离本发明的权利要求书所定义的精神和范围的前提下,可以对其中的构成和细节做各种变化。
Claims (8)
1.使用显示在便携终端中触摸屏上的键盘输入字符的方法,包含步骤:
(a)当显示了键盘时,确定是否产生触击信号;
(b)通过分析所述触击信号识别所触击的字符;
(c)在预定的屏幕区域显示放大的所述字符;
(d)当放大显示所述字符的时候,确定所述触击是否完成;以及
(e)当感知所述触击完成,则在主屏幕区域显示所述字符。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包含步骤:
(f)如果所述触击没有完成,返回到步骤(b)。
3.使用显示在便携终端中触摸屏上的键盘输入字符的方法,所述触摸屏具有显示在其较低位置的键盘,并且,在字符输入方式下,如果感知有所述键盘上的触击,则产生触击信号,所述方法包含步骤:
通过分析所述触击信号识别所触击的字符;
在预定的屏幕区域放大显示所述字符;
当放大显示所述字符,确定所述触击是否完成;以及
当感知所述触击完成,在光标位置输入所述字符。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中所述触摸屏由LCD(液晶显示器)和安装在所述LCD上的触摸板组成。
5.使用便携终端中触摸屏输入字符的装置,包含:
触摸屏,具有在其上显示的键盘,当在字符输入方式下感知有在所述键盘上的触击,则产生触击信号;
触击信号接收器,用于通过分析从所述触摸屏接收的模拟触击信号,产生相应于所述触击位置的位置数据;以及
控制器,用于通过分析从所述触击信号接收器接收的所述位置数据识别所触击的字符,在所述触摸屏的预定区域放大显示所述字符,确定所述触击是否已经完成,当感知所述触击完成,在光标位置输入所述字符。
6.如权利要求5所述的装置,其中所述触摸屏由LCD(液晶显示器)和安装在所述LCD上的触摸板组成。
7.使用便携终端中触摸屏输入字符的装置,包括:
所述触摸屏,具有在其上显示的键盘,当在字符输入方式下感知所述键盘上的触击,则产生触击信号;以及
控制器,用于通过分析从所述触摸屏接收的所述触击信号识别所触击的字符,在所述触摸屏的预定区域放大显示所述字符,确定所述触击是否已经完成,当感知所述触击完成,在光标位置输入所述字符。
8.如权利要求7所述的装置,其中所述触摸屏由LCD(液晶显示器)和安装在所述LCD上的触摸板组成。
