有一种平行六面体状的牛奶包装袋,其侧壁、底和盖都只用有覆盖层的纸做成。近来虽也有这样的液体包装袋,但其侧壁和底是用有覆盖层的纸做成,而盖则由纯热塑性塑料做成。本发明涉及两种一般型式的包装袋,特别是侧壁由一种管或筒状体做成的包装袋,此时先使平放的卷纸做成筒状体,再将边缘部分互相搭接连在一起。在这种情况下,包装袋筒状体的纵向密封缝分布在搭接边缘部分内,并将其不透液体地互相连接在一起。
众所周知,卷料切割边缘部分所形成的一条切割边是没有塑料层覆盖的,却有一个将微孔暴露在外的切割边表面。液体会渗入到这样一条敞口的边内,导致诸如纸的承载或包装材料胀大从而损坏包装袋。
为避免这种现象发生,这些卷料边缘部分也可用其他方式相互连接在一起,即将边缘部分折叠起来,再使他们粘接或密封在一起。此
时在这样一个做好的包装袋中,作为危险区的切割边都是暴露在外的,只要包装袋中的液体到不了这些切割边上,也就不致危及他们。但由于物料充满了包装袋,使包装袋承受了拉力,当该包装袋具有一条按上述方法形成的纵向密封缝时,这种拉力会使密封缝破裂。
拉力最好由搭接的边缘部分承受。为了盖住切割边,已有技术是把一个塑料条带作为护边装置密封在切割边上。为此,把塑料条带的一半宽度沿一条卷料边缘部分密封在一个表面上。其后,先将平放的卷料做成一个筒状体,使该塑料条带置于筒状体的内部。形成筒状体的纵向密封缝时,筒状体的一个边缘部分下表面被压向并焊封于对置的边缘部分表面上,搭接的边缘部分就这样被连在一起。形成纵向密封缝的同时,使已有一半密封的塑料条带焊封于那个形成外搭接边缘部分的内表面上。通过塑料条带在上述外搭接边缘部分内表面上的密封缝,使切割边不透液体地覆盖住。
这种已知方法的缺点在于形成纵向密封缝时,一个具有三层纸的区域被直接配置在这样一个仅有两层纸的区域旁边,故在切割边的两个面上都要形成密封。此时使密封工作和密封性都发生了困难。一方面曾试图在密封夹板上压出条状凸痕以补偿壁厚的不同(两层或三层)。但可以认为这种工具的使用和制造是复杂和昂贵的。此外,还示有的其他缺点是由密封夹板来的热流不能按要求方式均布在要加热的部位上,因此出现了密封性方面的问题。这个问题由于沿切割边关键部位塑料不足而恶化,足够的塑料一方面是为谋求得到良好的密封性,另一方面则为能保证承受足够的拉力。此外已觉察到的另一缺点是由热的密封夹板来的热量其渗透深度始终不能按所要求的方式达到精确地测定出。由于形成纵向密封缝并封住塑料条带以作为护边装置的问题
不是使用一个内芯件就可得到解决的,则焊接就应在包装袋筒状体平放时进行。但在纵向密封缝形成后,须使筒状体仍能打开以便包装袋可作灌装。所以还得担心热量所形成塑料物质的软化渗透不到对置的侧壁上。为满足上述要求,经常试图对纵向密封缝的密封性或制出良好的焊接作出综合考虑。但未找到完善的解决办法。
对接焊缝或甚至具有断开搭接边缘部分的纵向密封缝都没有达到筒化和可靠性的要求。
所以本发明的任务在于提供一种开头所述型式的液体用包装袋,尽管该袋的搭接边缘部分能保证有良好的密封性,但仍需有承受适当拉力的可能性,同时还要有护边装置;还在于提供这样一种包装袋的制造方法以及实施该法所用的设备。
按照本发明,解决上述任务是通过作为护边装置的塑料条带以U形断面来围住内边缘部分的切割边,并密封在边缘部分的两个表面上。采用按照发明的措施就进一步发展了现有技术,即把塑料条带沿纵向部分地密封在平放的卷料边缘部分上,此时还从对置面对塑料条带的围置和密封采取附加措施。由此形成一条完整的护边,特别是在耗料情况相同时,在与纵向密封缝搭接的边缘部分有渗漏危险部位上有较多的塑料。除开改进密封性方面的问题以外,通过按照发明的措施,当塑料熔化并流散在危险部位上时,形成焊接较好,在密封性上也有提高。此外还对作用在灌装后包装袋内的拉力形成一般较大的抗力。
按照发明的包装袋特别有利的结构是,在切割边与U形绕该边围置的塑料条带之间设有一个空腔。采用这种最佳解决方案有两个主要优点。在切割的边缘部分总是或多或少地有尖边产生。如果绕该边围
置的一个塑料条带绷得很紧,则该塑料条带就可能被损坏从而导致渗漏。反之如果按照发明沿整个切割边的前部留出一条空腔,则切割边侧面上的尖边就没有可能损伤塑料条带。第二个优点是当焊接由搭接边缘部分形成的密封缝时,如前所述由于在危险部位补给了所要求的塑料物质,因而增加了密封性和抗拉力。确切地说,上述危险部位通常离开需保护的切割边几个毫米(例如1至4毫米)。由于在切割边与塑料条带之间存在上述空腔,使塑料条带更加移向危险部位。
本发明另一方面的优点在于包装袋的制造方法,塑料条带沿纵向焊封于向前移动的平放卷料上,其边缘部分是部分搭接的,发明的特征在于塑料条带突出于切割边部分被围置在U形断面内并密封于边缘部分的下表面上。这种最初把塑料条带一部分焊封于向前移动的平放卷料上的作业是已知的,制造方法进一步的改进是使已被部分密封住的塑料条带此时绕危险区的切割边围置,并焊封于边缘部分的下表面上,以固定在该护边装置内。这里还说明塑料叠积在纵向密封缝区域内,因此有这种纵向密封缝的包装袋,更能平衡在灌装后形成的较大拉力。
按照本发明,特别有利的是,如果塑料条带的突出部分在卷料移动周期内以点焊方式焊封于边缘部分上,此后使卷料做成筒状体,紧接着将整个围有塑料条带的表面密封在两个搭接放置的边缘部分上。按照发明这种以点焊方式来密封塑料条带的方法其优点是,在各密封面之间形成了便于其他工具在边缘部位上对塑料条带做进一步接合的区域。例如密封设备的接合可在折叠装置之间进行,或者反之。以点焊方式将塑料条带密封在适当位置上显然是不够的,但是因为反正是在卷料呈筒状体状态时形成纵向密封缝的,则也就可在同时将这种密
封过程用于对所围置的塑料条带作完整而不透液体的密封。
这种密封方法,例如部分用点状焊封,然后经过包装袋全高度作连续焊封,使塑料物质形成有利的流散,于是可以流入到有渗漏危险的沟道内,就能在那里形成密封而牢固的连接。
最初在边缘部分的下表面上作点状密封塑料条带,紧接着在全部表面上密封,这种方法的另一优点在于,塑料条带的予处理已经完成,使密封夹板的热量容易作用到那个部位,塑料就在其上形成特别重要的密封缝,并使作用更加精确。通过这种对受到热的密封夹板影响而传来的热量作有利的控制,就可能有助于保证在平放折叠的卷料筒状体对置面上绝对没有焊接过。因此在形成完善的具有按照发明优点的纵向密封缝后,使筒状体能立即打开进行灌装才算制造完毕。
由于新的纵向密封缝是在搭接区内并位于液体密封缝旁边有富裕的塑料,就可以另一种有利的方式通过对置的密封夹板用本来已知的方法进行横向密封,在纵向和横向密封缝之间的交点不致成为有渗漏危险的部位。
在实施该法所用的设备方面,设有密封夹板和相配夹板以将塑料条带部分密封于边缘部分的上表面上,按照本发明所述的任务可通过下述措施来解决,即顺卷料运送方向,在其运送线路旁侧设置一个长滑块和一些将塑料条带粘附于边缘部分下表面上用的密封设备,在其后面则设有纵向密封缝用的折叠和密封设备。已经说过,将塑料条带密封于卷料边缘部分上表面的密封设备是已知的,现在就按照发明,顺卷料运送方向,在卷料运送线路旁侧设置一个长滑块。通过滑块使塑料条带弯转而成U形截面,这样本来敞口的切割边就由塑料完全覆盖和保护起来(护边装置)。设置滑块是为弯转塑料条带,而在装置
中包括的密封设备则是为将塑料条带粘附于边缘部分的下表面上。此外顺卷料运送方向,在密封设备后面还设有纵向密封缝的折叠和密封设备。
开动按照发明的设备时,下述措施证明特别有利,要是按照发明将长滑块做成U形截面,并具有一排大致垂直于卷料运送方向突出的弯转爪,要是将粘附塑料条带用的一台密封设备配置在每两个弯转爪之间。滑块最初是在卷料仍处于平放状态下将塑料条带移离卷料平面并使之成为U形,还能使没有密封的塑料条带保持该形状。通过弯转爪在每两个相邻弯转爪之间留有的区域,使密封夹板可以伸入其内将塑料条带粘附于边缘部分的下表面上。虽然塑料条带的密封面最初仅以点状焊封设置在边缘部分的下表面上。但没有滑块时用任何方法都可处置卷料,例如可以折叠成筒状体并在纵向密封缝的密封夹板之间通过。在形成纵向密封缝的同时,也密封了塑料条带的整个表面。
由于纵向密封缝是仅在有三层纸叠置的情况下形成的,密封夹板就不需要有任何隆起、凸条等部分。相关的表面只是那个三层纸叠置的表面,所以密封夹板或相配夹板(一般是冷的)可以有一个平的表面。塑料一般是聚乙烯,由于吸收了由热的密封夹板来的热量而融化因而在上、下边缘部分之间形成纵向密封缝,密封住最上面的和中间的纸层。在中间的与最下面的纸层之间是不产生密封作用的。热量到不了那里,或者时间很短不足以形成焊接。因此筒状体在形成纵向密封缝后即可打开进行灌装。
本发明的其他优点、特性和可能的用途是由下列一个最佳实施例结合附图的说明而得知的。附图有:

图1示有灌装以后即将封闭一个通常用1表示的底壁以前的液体包装袋,其侧壁2和底壁1均由两面覆盖有聚乙烯层的纸所组成。通常用3表示的纵向密封缝由两个互相搭接的边缘部分4和5形成,4是处于上面的外边缘部分,而5则是处于下面的内边缘部分。
横向密封缝大致是沿图1中所示虚线6分布的。
图2表示沿图1的Ⅱ-Ⅱ线剖面图,即通过这一条线6后来形成横向密封缝。在图2中,最初只形成纵向密封缝3,该缝可从放大比例的图8所示断面上看得较清楚。图中涂黑部分是塑料条带7被熔化
的塑料,而熔化前的情况则示于图7中。此外,图7还表示形成横向密封缝6之前的状态,即在密封夹板8和9按箭头10和10′方向作相对运动之前的状态。
护边装置是在已完工状态下由U形的绕敞口切割边11围置的塑料条带7来做成。
形成这种护边装置的方法在后面描述。
按照图3,先使两侧表面都覆盖有塑料层的卷料12作有节拍地运送,其方向与人们看图时的视线方向相反,这样边缘部分5就进到密封夹板13之下和相配夹板14之上,而塑料条带7则大约以一半的宽度放置在边缘部分5的上面。然后用本来已知的方法密封塑料条带7在其相应位置上。上述塑料条带在完工状态下就有一部分突出于还敞口的切割边11(垂直于运送方向15)。
按照图5,使卷纸12沿箭头15所指方向运送,即按照图4中以人们看图时的视线方向运送。
置于图5和图6顶部的卷料12的边缘部分5被引进到一个滑块16内,该滑块具有一排垂直于卷料12运送方向突出的弯转爪17。在每两个弯转爪17之间是一个密封区18,未示出的密封设备可以伸入其内将塑料条带7以点状密封方式粘附于边缘部分5的下表面19上(参阅图3)。
现在就达到图7所示的情况,塑料条带7以U形断面围置在边缘部分5上,这样就使敞口的切割边11完全被塑料所覆盖而受到保护。
如图6所示,为形成纵向密封缝,可使卷料12的筒状部分在密封夹板20与21之间通过。然后用塑料条带7将上部搭接边缘部分4完全熔接到下面边缘部分5上,该塑料条带在此以前只是以点焊方
式粘附于顶部(边缘部分4和5的中间)。图8示有材料在熔融状态下流动的情况,但与图7所示的下部区域22并未形成密封作用,因此筒状部分在以后灌装时就很容易打开。
图9是另一个实施例的放大图,在该实施例中虽然塑料条带7也是以U形断面围置在敞口的切割边11上,但在切割边11与条带7之间设有一个空腔33。为便于比较,按照以前所述实施例放置的塑料条带其位置由点划线示出,如件号31所示,可以看出条带的端部更加向右伸展。件号30表示在边缘部分5的表面与塑料条带7的表面之间相应的密封边。如果留有空腔33,则塑料条带7的敞口边就不再象件号31所示那样伸展那么远,而是如图9所示那样更加向左,因此整个塑料条带7都向左移了位。
如图10所示,在接近32的部位可能构成包装袋上有渗漏危险的部位,并示有承受拉力时的状态。但可以肯定由于塑料条带7具有空腔33,所以在该部位就有足够的塑料可以形成一个牢固而适宜的熔接缝。
此外在图10内,用34表示切割边11的一个角。它是沿着整个切割边11延伸的一个尖棱,很明显,它也位于对置面的下边,即在切割边11的两侧上都有。具有如图9中实线所示的空腔33时尖棱离开塑料条带比如图9中点划线所示没有空腔时更远。专业人员很快就知,结构型式有空腔33时塑料条带7受伤危险就比不排除尖棱的情况小得多。
按照图9所示的空腔可以位于右端切割边11与空腔33左侧塑料条带7的内表面之间,其宽度值为0.5毫米至2毫米,最佳宽度为1毫米。
Claims (6)
1、一种液体包装袋,该袋至少有一部分是由一种诸如纸的承载材料做成的壁所组成,而承载材料则至少在一面覆盖有塑料层,特别是在筒状侧壁上具有一条纵向密封缝,而在底部则有一条横向密封缝,此时纵向密封缝分布在搭接边缘部分内,在包装袋内部的边缘部分切割边被一个塑料条带所覆盖成为护边装置,其特征在于,作为护边装置的塑料条带(7)是一个分离的条带,它以U形断面绕内边缘部分(5)的切割边(11)围置,并焊封于边缘部分(5)的两个表面上。
2、按权利要求1的包装袋,其特征在于,在切割边(11)与U形绕该边围置的塑料条带(7)之间设置有一个空腔(33)。
3、按权利要求1或2的包装袋制造方法,塑料条带沿纵向密封于向前移动的平放卷料上,其边缘部分是部分搭接的,其特征在于,塑料条带(7)突出于切割边(11)部分被围置在U形断面内并焊封于边缘部分(5)的下表面上。
4、按权利要求3的方法,其特征在于,塑料条带(7)的突出部分在卷料(12)移动周期内以点焊方式焊封于边缘部分(5)上,此后使卷料(12)做成筒状体,紧接着将整个围有塑料条带(7)的表面焊封在两个搭接放置的边缘部分(4、5)上。
5、按权利要求3或4实施方法所用的设备,具有密封夹板和相配夹板以将塑料条带部分焊封于边缘部分的上表面上,其特征在于,顺卷料(12)运送方向(15),在其运送线路旁侧设置一个长滑块(16)和一些将塑料条带(7)粘附于边缘部分(5)下表面上用的密封设备。
6、按权利要求5的设备,其特征在于,长滑块(16)是做成U形截面的并具有一排大致垂直于卷料(12)运送方向(15)突出的弯转爪(17),并且将粘附塑料条带(7)用的一台密封设备配置在每两个弯转爪(17)之间。
