Abstract

一种电缆连接器,具有与同轴电缆的芯线连接的触点、保持该触点的绝缘部件以及导通该同轴电缆的屏蔽用外部导体的同时从上下围绕该绝缘部件的金属制的大致平板状的上壳体和下壳体,为了对应电机的薄型化、防止屏蔽用壳体的膨胀,在该下壳体的两侧壁部设置通过嵌合该电缆连接器的基板侧连接器的壳体的嵌合用突起部的按压,在与同轴电缆的轴芯方向直交的同时与下壳体的平板面平行的方向上可变形的卡合锁定部,该上壳体不与基板侧连接器的壳体卡合,并且不受到该卡合锁定部的按压变形作用。

Description

电缆连接器
技术领域
本发明涉及连接极细的同轴电缆的电缆连接器。
背景技术
以往,例如在移动电话等的电机上,为了防止噪音,现有的连接印制基板上的回路和电子零件的电缆使用极细线的同轴电缆。并且,将多条同轴电缆连接在电缆连接器上的同时,用金属制的壳体覆盖合成树脂制的机架本体,将同轴电缆的外部导体软焊在该壳体上、进行屏蔽。
现有的具有以下结构(例如参照特开2002-15818公报),将该电缆连接器嵌合在被固定在印制基板上的基板侧连接器上,使该同轴电缆的触头与基板侧连接器的触头对接,实现同轴电缆与印制基板上回路的电连接。并且,该电缆连接器侧的壳体与基板侧连接器的壳体接触,落入在印制基板回路上的接地用的地线上。
在该电缆连接器与印制基板上的连接器的嵌合结构中,在与印制基板面直交的方向上,为了进行高密度的安装,尽量缩小厚度,使该雌雄触点沿着直交的方向滑动连接。另外,由于该厚度薄,直交方向上的触点之间的有效嵌合长度缩短,因此,为了防止嵌合脱落,需要嵌合时的锁定机构,因此,作为锁定机构,在电缆连接器和基板侧连接器的各壳体上设置凸部和凹部、使其嵌合。
如图9所示,在现有的电缆连接器中,例如在盖住基板侧连接器21的绝缘机架23的壳体22上设置突起22a,在电缆连接器24侧的上壳体25上形成与该突起22a对应的位置和大小的凹部25a,设置在基板侧连接器的左右两端部的该突起22a和凹部25a嵌合,电缆连接器24被锁定。该电缆连接器24侧的锁定用嵌合部被设置在该上壳体25的侧壁面上的原因是由于下壳体26被向电缆连接器24的机架插入成形的关系,为了可以容易地设置在模具上而形成平板状,利用上壳体25覆盖地盖住该机架和下壳体、使壳体之间进行接触。
但是,如图9所示,在该壳体的结构中,如果将电缆连接器24与安装在印制基板20的基板侧连接器21嵌合,在左右方向上,该上壳体25被压缩、其中央部分向上鼓出,有时压住其他电子零件。为了实现电子仪器的小型化以及高密度的安装,在要求连接器进一步薄型化的现有的状况下,这样的壳体的膨胀成为薄型化的障碍。本发明为了解决上述课题而形成。
发明内容
在此,本发明是一种电缆连接器,具有与同轴电缆的芯线连接的触点、保持该触点的绝缘部件以及导通该同轴电缆的屏蔽用外部导体的同时从上下围绕该绝缘部件的金属制的大致平板状的上壳体和下壳体,在该下壳体的两侧壁部设置通过嵌合该电缆连接器的基板侧连接器的壳体的嵌合用突起部的按压,在与同轴电缆的轴芯方向直交的同时可在与下壳体的平板面平行的方向上变形的卡合锁定部,该上壳体不与基板侧连接器的壳体卡合,并且不受到该卡合锁定部的按压变形作用。
在上述上壳体的左右方向的两端部的侧壁上设置切口部,在与上壳体的平板面垂直的方向上、将该电缆连接器嵌入基板侧连接器时,基板侧连接器的壳体的突起部在与同轴电缆的轴芯方向直交的同时在与上壳体的平板面平行的方向上与该切口部卡合,可以防止电缆连接器向与上壳体的平板面垂直的上方脱开。
根据本发明的电缆连接器,在电缆连接器被嵌合在基板侧连接器的状态下,由于上壳体在左右方向,即与同轴电缆的轴芯方向直交的同时与下壳体的平板面平行的方向上不受到压缩等的变形作用,因此,该上壳体的平板状部不向外侧膨胀。因此,不产生压住其他高密度安装设置的电子部件等问题,形成对应电子仪器薄型化的恰当的连接器。
由于在该上壳体上设置切口部,防止在与基板侧连接器嵌合的状态下电缆连接器向上方脱开,因此,通过该下壳体左右方向上的位置被固定,通过上壳体、也防止向上方脱开,可以将嵌合状态下的位置固定和防止脱开的任务分担在上壳体和下壳体上。

具体实施方式
如图1A~1C和图2所示,本发明的实施例中的电缆连接器(以下只称为连接器)1是极细线(例如外径为0.3mm左右)的同轴电缆2的芯线与触点3连接的同时,该同轴电缆2的屏蔽用的外部导体以从上下围绕绝缘部件1a进行屏蔽的大致平板状与金属制的上壳体4和下壳体5导通。
如图2所示,合成树脂制的该绝缘部件1a与触点3利用模具被一体成形,下壳体5被压入在其上、进行组装。上壳体4被作为连接器1的附件。并且,同轴电缆2的端部的芯线2a被软焊6在触点3上,横架多条同轴电缆2的外部导体、被软焊的板状的接地棒(グランドバ一)7被安装在下壳体5上、软焊固定。然后将该上壳体4安装在绝缘部件1a上。该上壳体4的一部分与该接地棒7的一部分被软焊、该上壳体4被固定在连接器1上。
如图3A~3D和图4A和图4B所示,在该上壳体4的左右方向的两端部上形成直到下面围绕该绝缘部件1a的侧壁部的侧壁部4a、4b,在该侧壁部4a、4b上具有切口部4m、4n,在其前后方向延伸的端面4c、4d被定位。
并且,如图3A和3B所示,该上壳体4具有从侧壁部4a、4b的下端部延伸的底板部4f和从后方侧的侧壁部4g的下端部延伸的底板部4h,围绕着该绝缘部件1a的左右侧壁部。设置在该底板部4h端部的卡合突起4i是为了与下壳体5进行卡合、锁定的部件。另外,如图3B所示,在上壳体平板状部4e上设置有向绝缘部件侧倾斜的软焊部4j,被软焊在同轴电缆2的接地棒7上。
如图5A~5D所示,在该下壳体5上,被压入绝缘部件1a的压入孔的卡合片5b竖立设置在下壳体平板状部5a的左右方向的两侧壁部,而且,具有从竖立设置在该侧壁部后方的立起部5c起水平延伸的卡合锁定部5d。该卡合锁定部5d与嵌合对象的基板侧连接器的壳体的卡合用突起部卡合,该同轴电缆与基板侧连接器在与该同轴电缆2的轴芯方向直交的方向的左右方向上嵌合,该电缆连接器1的位置被可自由装卸地固定、不会从该基板侧连接器脱开。
另外,如图6B所示,在下壳体平板状部5a上设置有向绝缘部件倾斜的软焊部5f,被软焊在同轴电缆2的接地棒7上。
如图7所示,组装该电缆连接器1、嵌合在基板侧连接器21上后,壳体22的突起22a与电缆连接器1的左右两端部的卡合锁定部5d对接。这样,该电缆连接器1在左右方向上的位置被固定。此时,如图8所示,该卡合锁定部5d在该左右方向上受到被向内侧按压、受到变形作用,但是左右方向上的变形作用在上壳体4的上壳体平板状部4e上不起作用。因此,该上壳体4的上壳体平板状部4e不向该嵌合状态中的连接器的外侧鼓出。
另外,上壳体4的左右方向两端部上的切口部4m、4n的端面4c、4d与该基板侧连接器21的壳体22的突起22a在与同轴电缆2的直交的方向的上下方向、即与上壳体的平板面垂直的方向上嵌合。因此,在该电缆连接器1与基板侧连接器21的嵌合状态下,可以防止电缆连接器1向上方脱开。同样,在该状态下,该侧壁部4a、4b和切口部4m、4n由于不受到连接器上左右方向的按压等产生的变形作用,因此可以确实进行上下方向的卡合。

Claims (2)

1.一种电缆连接器,具有:与同轴电缆的芯线连接的触点、保持该触点的绝缘部件、以及导通该同轴电缆的屏蔽用外部导体的同时从上下围绕该绝缘部件的金属制的大致平板状的上壳体和下壳体,其特征在于,
具有竖立设置在该下壳体的两侧壁部的后方的立起部,从该立起部开始水平延伸设置的卡合锁定部以如下方式进行设置,即,通过嵌合该电缆连接器的基板侧连接器的壳体的嵌合用突起部的按压,可在与同轴电缆的轴芯方向正交并且与下壳体的平板面平行的方向上变形,该卡合锁定部通过该嵌合用突起部而受到变形作用,但是为了使变形作用不作用在该上壳体的上壳体平板状部上,该上壳体不与基板侧连接器的壳体卡合,并且该上壳体不受到该卡合锁定部的按压变形作用。
2.如权利要求1所述的电缆连接器,其特征在于,在上述上壳体的左右方向的两端部的侧壁上设置切口部,在与上壳体的平板面垂直的方向上、将该电缆连接器嵌入基板侧连接器时,基板侧连接器的壳体的突起部,在与同轴电缆的轴芯方向直交并且与上壳体的平板面垂直的方向上与该切口部卡合,防止电缆连接器向与上壳体的平板面垂直的上方脱开。
