技术领域
本发明涉及汽车中具有控制杆的可调转向柱的锁定装置,特别是具有一个布置在转向柱下方中央的控制杆的锁定装置。
背景技术
众所周知,汽车转向柱的布置是,转向柱在一个套管内被导向,该套管可在通过其轴线的垂直平面中的一个预定角度范围内相对于汽车车身调节其倾斜度,也可以在一个预定的范围内相对于转向柱轴向移动。套管同一个固定在仪表板范围内横梁上的托架相铰接。在托架及其下面的套管之间,有一个锁定装置,以便能够将套管可松脱地固定在预定调节范围内的倾斜位置和纵向位置上。该锁定装置具有彼此交错连接的压紧片,其中多片固定在套管上,多片固定在托架上,并且与一个机构有效连接使压紧片相互贴靠以便传力连接,或相互分开则脱离传力连接锁定状态。

在文献JP5-319277A和JP2000-229577A中均公开了一种可调转向柱的锁定装置,它们都在吸收碰撞方面作出了一些改进。
发明内容
本发明的任务是,鉴于保护碰撞时汽车司机膝盖的目的,对具有控制杆的可调转向柱的锁定装置进行改进。
这个任务的解决通过如下所述的锁定装置来解决。在下文中还提供了本发明的优选实施例。
根据本发明提供了一种用于汽车中的可调转向柱的锁定装置。该锁定装置具有控制杆,并且安装在一个汽车固定支承和一个固定该支承上、套在转向柱上、倾斜度可调的套管之间。控制杆能够在套管的下方在锁定位置和位于该锁定位置下方的松开位置之间摆动。该控制杆设有手柄,该手柄在控制杆处于锁定位置时与套管保持一段距离。其特征是,控制杆做成变形元件,并在手柄被碰撞时在接受能量的情况下能够向套管的方向变形。
本发明在于汽车中的用于可调转向柱的锁定装置,它制成和布置在一个支承和一个套管之间,该支承固定在汽车上,而套管则套在转向柱上,并可倾斜调节。另外锁定装置在套管的下方和/或侧向还具有一个控制杆。根据本发明,该控制杆被作成变形元件,并在碰撞时接受能量的情况下,最好可以向着套管的方向变形。此时,控制杆的布置应该可以使其在接近套管的锁定位置和其下方(远离套管的)套管松开位置之间摆动。在松开位置时按照已知的方法在预定的调节范围内可以将套管,从而将转向柱调节到每个所希望的倾斜度,并且根据转向柱布置的实施方案,也可以调节转向柱的每个任意轴向位置(纵向可调转向柱)。在控制杆的操作端装有一个手柄,该手柄在锁定位置时作成与套管保持一段距离,使其具有规定的变形空间。在与汽车纵向垂直的横向分力作用下发生碰撞时,例如在偏心碰撞的情况下,汽车司机膝盖碰撞的危险在于控制杆,特别是向下凸出的手柄。在这种同手柄碰撞的情况下,控制杆可以接受能量而变形,并且在沿套管方向的变形空间内被压缩,从而减少汽车乘客受伤的危险。
控制杆作为变形元件可以以简单的方式制作,从外形上作成横梁的型式,并按照离开套管的方向弯成角度或甚至弯成钩状,并在弯角或弯曲的范围内具有一个理论拐点,因此控制杆在碰撞冲击时接受能量,可以沿着向套管的方向弯曲,特别是在理论拐点的范围内可以弹性变形。此时弯成钩形的控制杆的变形和理论拐点的布置,应该使控制杆上的手柄贴靠在控制杆上。
控制杆可以具有T形横截面,其中中间过渡桥位于背离套管的一侧,或者在面向套管方向的长的型面侧也可选择为矩形截面。为了构造理论拐点,在第一实施方案中的型面基本上省掉中间过渡桥,因此控制杆在此处具有矩形横截面。在第二实施方案中,在理论拐点处的矩形截面被减小。
控制杆最好由钢制成。手柄同样由钢板成型,但是敷以塑料表层,并与控制杆用螺钉拧紧。
锁定装置和套管一般在乘客室侧由一个转向柱罩壳包围,该罩壳具有一个容纳手柄的手柄凹腔。这个手柄凹腔凹向套管方向,并具有一个空隙,以便穿过控制杆和能够进行调节动作。此时转向柱罩壳和手柄的设计和布置,应使手柄在锁定位置时,其背离转向柱的一端与转向柱罩壳锁在同一齐平的平面上,并且不能有凸出的边缘,以免有可能产生伤害的危险。转向柱罩壳本身最好也做成变形元件,一个较好的方案是由变形泡沫制成,从而在接受能量的情况下可以变形。因此转向柱罩壳连同控制杆,包括放入其中的手柄一同制成了一个吸收碰撞能量的整体布置方案,使得接受能量的能力提高,并改善汽车司机的保护。

具体实施方式
图1表示一个可调的汽车转向柱1,它具有一个设有相互交错连接的压紧片2和3的锁定装置4,其中压紧片2沿切线方向布置在套于转向柱1上的套管5的两侧,压紧片3布置在仪表板范围内固定托架6的一个横向主梁上。套管5可在相对于托架6的一个较窄的角度范围(约5°)内摆动,此外还可轴向移动,因此转向柱1和安装在其上的方向盘(未表示出)的位置是可以改变的。压紧片2和3与调节装置7有效连接,可选择它们彼此传力连接地贴合或分离,从而将套管5连同转向柱1锁定在相对于托架6的选定位置上,而在其他的情况下压紧片2和3则彼此松开,因此套管5相对于托架6是可以调节的。调节装置是众所周知的,在此无需赘述。此时转向柱的布置,应该使转向柱1在所述的调节范围V内可以改变位置,相应的轴向调节行程最大为50mm,倾斜角度的调节可为5°左右,相应于高度调节行程约为40mm。
调节装置7具有一个中央布置的控制杆8,它具有由钢板制成的矩形型面,其操纵端的头部拧上一个手柄9,该手柄以钢板为核心,外面敷以塑料制成。在图2中以透视图表示了这个控制杆8,在图1中它的锁定位置以实线表示,在松开位置时则以虚线表示。其中转向柱1的调节可以在调节范围V内。控制杆8在手柄侧弯成钩状,并做成变形元件,为此在基本上为90°弯角的范围内,设计一个理论拐点S,其横截面减少50%。
锁定装置和套管5被一个分为两部分的转向柱罩壳包围,它的下部分即下罩壳10在图4中以透视图表示,在图1中以点划线表示出三个纵向位置,其中中央初始位置表示为A,位置B和C为两个可能调节方向中的端部位置。下罩壳10与套管5相连,并在调节时与其一起调节,它具有一个沿套管5方向做成的手柄9的容纳腔11,并且在其垂直安装平面上设置一个空隙12,以便控制杆8穿过和摆动。控制杆8固定铰接在汽车上,因此它和容纳腔中的手柄9随套管5的纵向调节而移动位置,每个位置都是处于锁定状态。手柄9在其锁定位置时,其背离转向柱1的一面与下罩壳10的平面齐平。下罩壳做成变形元件,并由具有空隙小室、密度为30g/l的PUR泡沫和装饰外表层制成。下罩壳10在容纳腔11的区域内,于垂直平面内所允许的变形量一直到贴靠到压紧片3为止,其随下罩壳10的位置而定,相对于压紧片3的片体,其变形量为40~45mm。装在控制杆8上的手柄9的变形量约为50mm。
当汽车司机的膝盖碰撞到手柄9范围内的下罩壳10时,不仅下罩壳10而且控制杆8沿着向套管5的方向也接受能量在前述范围内变形,此时控制杆8在理论拐点S范围内折弯重叠,直到手柄9贴到它的长区段为止。
图3a和b表示出控制杆可供选择的两种横截面形状,控制杆的横截面被构造成T剖面形状,而在理论拐点S范围内基本上省去中间过渡桥,因此成为一个矩形横截面。

Claims (8)

1.用于汽车中的可调转向柱的锁定装置,所述锁定装置具有控制杆,并且安装在一个汽车固定支承和一个固定该支承上、套在转向柱上、倾斜度可调的套管之间,
其中,控制杆能够在套管的下方在锁定位置和位于所述锁定位置下方的松开位置之间摆动,所述控制杆设有手柄(9),所述手柄在所述控制杆处于锁定位置时与所述套管保持一段距离,
其特征是,所述控制杆(8)做成变形元件,并在手柄(9)被碰撞时在接受能量的情况下能够向套管(5)的方向变形。
2.根据权利要求1所述的锁定装置,其特征是,控制杆(8)被弯成角度或手柄端被弯成钩状,并在弯角或弯曲的范围内有一个理论拐点(S)。
