技术领域
本发明总体上涉及一种热交换器。更具体地,本发明涉及热交换器的传热管。
背景技术
用于机动车传动系冷却和空调系统的热交换器组件(例如散热器、加热器芯部以及冷凝器)通常包括一对上水室(header)和一个芯部(其具有水平布置在两个上水室之间的多个管)。在上水室中,隔板将上水室的内部分割成多个流动分离空间。结果,流经热交换器的致冷剂通常沿着管的长度以螺旋方式水平流动,同时在上水室之间形成多个通道。多个薄热交换散热片(fin)从管的顶表面和底表面大体垂直地延伸,以增加热交换部件的表面积。
在热交换器工作期间,空气通常沿垂直于管长度的方向流过管外部以及散热片之间。为了最大程度地在散热片和气流之间进行热交换,散热片和管在平行于气流的方向上具有增加的宽度。另外,为了减小气流的风阻,管在垂直于气流的方向上具有减小的厚度。因此,管优选地为具有相对较小的端面和相对较大的顶面、底面的椭圆形。
然而,管的非圆形横截面导致沿着管周边的应力是非恒定的。更具体地,椭圆构造使端面和顶面、底面之间的弯曲区域中的应力增加。因此,沿着这些应力增加区域可能会使得管的部件过早疲劳。
此外,管壁具有最小厚度以最大程度地在致冷剂和气流之间进行热交换。因此,不希望增加管壁的厚度来补偿潜在的应力增加区域。
因此,需要提供一种强度提高的热交换器管和制造这种管的方法。
发明内容
为了克服现有技术中的缺陷和限制,本发明提供了一种热交换器管,其相对的顶部和底部壁通过端壁彼此相连。每个顶部和底部壁都限定了近似平的表面,且每个端壁都限定了大体弓形的表面。此外,每个端壁都包括多个变形部,用于强化热交换器管。更具体地,所述变形部包括形成在管外表面上的凹槽或凹陷。
另一方面,所述变形部沿端壁在大体直线方向上延伸。更具体地,变形部沿着端壁以相对于管纵向轴成15°到165°的角度地进行延伸。更具体地,相对于纵向轴的所述角度在15°到75°或105°到165°之间。
根据本发明的另一方面,凹陷的变形高度近似等于管厚,且大体在0.05到1.5毫米之间。
根据本发明的另一方面,管由具有一对端部的金属板形成。金属板向后折叠在自身上,以在其中限定通道,且所述端部相接且横跨通道,从而接触其相对板的内表面。这种结构强化了传热管。可选择地,仅仅两个端部中的其中一个端部横跨通道以接触其相对的内表面。该端部可为弓形横截面,以使管具有类似于弹簧的特性。

本发明还提出一种制造管和热交换器的方法。该方法包括下列步骤:在板材上形成多个变形部;形成相对的顶壁和底壁,以使得每个顶壁和底壁都限定了近似为平的表面;以及形成使顶壁和底壁彼此相连的端壁。所述端壁大体为弓形表面,且在其上具有多个变形部。

具体实施方式
参见附图,图1表示根据本发明的热交换器组件10。更具体地,图1所示的热交换器组件10是机动车空调回路的冷凝器。可选择地,该热交换器组件可以是散热器、加热器芯部或其他任何适合的热交换器。此外,热交换器可用于任何适合的发明领域。
热交换器组件10包括芯部12,其中第一和第二上水室14、16位于该芯部12相反的两端。第一上水室14在其上端具有入口15,在其下端具有出口17。在上水室14中具有一个或多个隔板30,其将上水室14分隔成流动分离空间。第二上水室16是整体上水室,且具有歧管和接收器/干燥器管18(其具有本领域公知的去除致冷剂中不要的水的特征)。热交换器10还可包括一对支架20,以在空调系统(未示出)中使用时将热交换器10安装到车辆(未示出)上。

变形部64在与管22的纵向轴78成角度76的方向75上延伸。方向75优选地不平行于纵向轴78,这样变形部64就不会在与端壁52、54相邻的区域彼此发生不希望的接触。如果设置成垂直于管轴78,则变形部64所形成的凸起脊部可能会在管22中彼此接触,并限制致冷剂流动。因此,角度76优选地大于15°且小于165°。

5、根据权利要求2的传热管,其特征在于:该角度相对于纵向轴成105°到165°。
6、根据权利要求1的传热管,其特征在于:所述传热管限定了回路,且所述变形部以一变形高度伸进该回路。
7、根据权利要求6的传热管,其特征在于:所述传热管具有管厚,且该变形高度大体等于管厚。
8、根据权利要求6的传热管,其特征在于:所述变形高度在大约0.05毫米到大约1.5毫米的范围内。
9、根据权利要求1的传热管,其特征在于:所述顶、底和端壁由具有第一和第二端部的金属板来限定,其中第一和第二端部彼此连接以限定回路。
10、根据权利要求9的传热管,其特征在于:所述第一和第二端部的至少一个横跨回路的内部,并且接触金属板的内表面,从而强化传热管以防止其塌陷。
11、根据权利要求10的传热管,其特征在于:横跨回路的所述第一和第二端部的至少一个是大体的弓形。
12、根据权利要求10的传热管,其特征在于:所述第一和第二端部都横跨回路,并且接触金属板的内表面。
