Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a un procedimiento para la recuperación de litio por medio de separación por extracción-remoción y purificación, que incluye: (1) llevar a cabo una extracción en una solución que contiene litio mediante el uso de un sistema de extracción que incluye un extractante compuesto a un pH en un intervalo de 10 a 13 y separar para obtener una fase orgánica cargada de litio; (2) someter la fase orgánica cargada de litio obtenida en la etapa (1) a una remoción trifásica de gas-líquido-líquido para obtener una solución de remoción cargada de litio; y (3) someter la solución de remoción obtenida en la etapa (2) a un tratamiento térmico y separar para obtener un producto de litio y aguas madres separadas. De acuerdo con el procedimiento proporcionado en la presente divulgación, la separación eficiente de litio a partir de impurezas tales como Na, K y B se lleva a cabo mediante el uso de un extractante compuesto; además, se lleva a cabo una remoción continua trifásica de gas-líquido-líquido, la tasa de remoción de litio es del 90 % o más, el rendimiento total de litio es del 83 % o más, y el producto de litio obtenido tiene una pureza del 96 % o más. El procedimiento tiene las ventajas de una gran capacidad de posesión, un proceso y un equipo simples, un bajo costo de inversión, un uso rentable de gas de cola industrial, un ahorro de energía, una buena protección ambiental y una producción continua.
