Description
Process for the preparation of a black azo dye. It has been found that (a black azular material is obtained if the diazo compound of the p-aminoazo body is obtained from diazotized p-chloroaniline + 1-amino-2-naplitolethyl ether with 2 -3-oxynaphth-oesa-lire - anil.id combined.
When dried, the dye forms a blue-black, shiny metal powder that is insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid in a corinthian color and is precipitated from this solution by water in black flakes. It can also be produced on-the-fiber and then provides violet-black colorations with excellent marriage properties. example:
32.5 parts of the p-Aminoa.zokörpers from diazotized p-chloroaniline + 1-Amino-2-naplit-olä, ethyl ether become salt in 40 parts acid 20'N and about 4500 parts of water and diazotized with 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite in the usual way. The so gel # -) i1- jet diazo compound is freed from minor impurities by filter freezing. 26,
3 parts of 2 -3-Oxynaphioes'äureanilid are in 20 parts of sodium hydroxide solution 36 ' B6 and 200 parts of water with the addition of an aqueous solution of 13 parts of sodium acetate and Dissolve 2 parts of Turkish red oil in the heat, cool it with ice to about, 10 ' and filter. This solution is allowed to run into the diazole solution at 10 to 15 ' while stirring.
After the coupling has ended, the resulting dye is filtered off. It forms a metallic, shiny, blue-black powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid to give it a corintle color and is precipitated in black flakes by water.
