The present invention relates to a timepiece.
In a presently known execution of a timepiece there is a question of a device comprising a gear train with two moving parts connecting the winding pinion and the barrel ratchet, which turns backwards and drives the roadway through 'a fiction coupling with two concentric wheels, so that the rotation of the road produced by the timer wheel when setting the time, has no effect on the barrel.
The main disadvantage of this execution consists, when passing from one time zone to another, for example during travel by plane, to readjust the time of one or more units causing the loss of the minute indication. and the second.
The invention aims to remedy this drawback. To this end, it relates to a timepiece which is characterized by a first additional mobile, controlling the hour hand, which is capable of being positioned angularly with respect to a second mobile coaxial with the first mobile, and actuated. by the movement of the timepiece, the moving parts being secured by a connecting ring having, on the one hand, an internal toothing, intended to cooperate with the teeth of a pinion secured to the first additional mobile as well as with the toothings a pinion integral with the second mobile, and, on the other hand, an edge toothing, intended to cooperate with an edge toothing of said pinion integral with the second mobile, means making it possible to act from the outside on the first mobile to make it turn one or more steps,
which causes the hour hand to turn correspondingly, without influencing the indication of the other hand (s).
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Only what is necessary for understanding the invention has been shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 is an axial sectional view of this embodiment, in a first operating position.
Fig. 2 is a similar view, in a second operating position.
Fig. 3 is a section taken along line III-III of FIG. 2.
The timepiece partially shown in the drawing comprises an hour wheel of usual shape 1 which is engaged with a timing pinion, not shown. The hour wheel 1 is mounted idle on the road, also not shown. On the same roadway is freely adjusted an additional hour mobile 2, consisting of a pinion 3 and a barrel 4 carrying the hour hand, not shown. The hour wheel 1 is integral with a pinion 5 identical to pinion 3, but of lesser height.
The hour mobile 2 can be positioned relative to the hour wheel 1 and be secured to the latter by a connecting ring 6. This ring 6 has, on the one hand, an internal toothing 7, intended to cooperate with the toothings of the pinions 3 and 5, and, on the other hand, an edge toothing 8 on its lower face, intended to cooperate with an edge toothing 9 of the upper face of the pinion 5. In addition, the ring 6 has mid -height an outer groove 10 in which is engaged an actuating member 11, consisting for example of a fork.
In the position shown in fig. 1, the parts are in the normal time setting position, that is to say that it is possible to correct simultaneously, in this position, the hour hand and the minute hand. It is also the position occupied by the parts during the running of the watch.
In the position shown in fig. 2, the parts are in the time correction position, that is to say that it is possible to correct, in this position, only the hour hand, without influencing the indication given by the hour hand. minutes.
In the position of FIG. 1, the pinions 3 and 5 are joined together in rotation by means of the connecting ring 6. As a result, the rotation of the hour wheel 1 when the watch is running or when setting the time , is transmitted to the time 2 mobile.
To go from the position of fig. I to that of fig. 2, we act on means, not shown, of known type, which actuate the member 11 and lift the connecting ring 6 until it comes out of engagement with the pinion 5. Means, not shown, of known type, make it possible to act from the outside to rotate the mobile 2 by one or more steps. By way of example, one can conceive of a winding stem capable of occupying, in addition to the usual winding and time-setting positions, a third position in which its actuation would turn the mobile 2. One can also use for this purpose a corrector of the kind used in calendar watches.
When the mobile 2 is rotated by one or more steps, the hour hand is rotated, without influencing the indication given by the minute hand (and possibly the seconds hand).
To return to the position of FIG. 1, we act again on
the member 1 1 for lowering the connecting ring 6 and bringing it into engagement with the pinion 5. During this movement, an overhang could occur because the pinion 3 does not necessarily have an angular position exact in relation to that of pinion 5, but this is prevented by the fact that the tips of the teeth of the edge teeth 8 of the ring 6 come against the edge teeth 9 of the pinion 5 and, if necessary, force the ring of link 6 and pinion 3 to be turned at a small angle, until pinions 3 and 5 have the same angular position: at the same time,
The hour hand assumes its exact angular position relative to the minute hand.
It is therefore not necessary, when correcting the hour hand, to pay particular attention to
its position, since it is automatically corrected when returning from the position of FIG. 2 to that of FIG. 1.
A ring 12, preferably made of a material different from that of the pinions 3 and 5, is interposed between these two pinions, in order to reduce the wear of the teeth 9 of the pinion 5.
