Färbebeispiel A
3 Gramm/Liter Natriumalginat
5 Gramm/Liter konzentrierte Essigsäure 20 Gramm/Liter Glaubersalz

Process for the preparation of basic dyes The invention relates to a process for the preparation of. basic dyes of the formula
EMI1.1
in which the radicals R1 are identical or different, optionally substituted alkyl radicals or two or three of the radicals R1 together with the quaternized Nn atom form a saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic ring system, and in which R7 is optionally substituted alkyl, Rs is halogen, R11 is alkyl, Rle and Rls Halogen, R18 is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl, y is an optionally substituted alkylene radical, X is an anion and n is one of the numbers 1 or 2, characterized in that
that you can get a compound of the formula
EMI1.2
where E is the acid residue of an ester with an amine of the formula
EMI2.1
implements.
Particularly valuable dyes are those of the formula
EMI2.2
wherein R9 and R13 Cl or Br, R11 -CO-CH3, R18 H, Cl, Br or methyl, preferably H or
Methyl, R7 methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl, y-C2H4- or -CH2-CH-CH3 and A stands for one of the following radicals
EMI2.3
where D is an optionally substituted alkyl radical, preferably a methyl or ethyl radical.
In general, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl radicals are methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, isobutyl, amyl, isoamyl or hexyl radicals or then the hydroxyethyl, cyanoethyl, chloromethyl or chloroethyl radicals.
Further preferred dyes are those of the formula
EMI2.4
wherein Rg and R12 C1 or Br, R11 -CO-CH3, R18 H, Cl, Br or methyl, preferably H or
Methyl, R7 is methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl, y is -C2H4- or -CH2-CH-CH3, and A is one of the following radicals
EMI2.5
EMI3.1
where D is an optionally substituted alkyl radical, preferably a methyl or ethyl radical.
Anion X is understood to mean both organic and inorganic ions, such as B. methyl sulfate, sulfate, disulfate, perohlorate, chloride, bromide, iodide, phosphate, phosphorus molybdate, .phosphorotungstamolybdate, btenzenesulfonate, 4-chlorobenzenesulfonate, oxalate, M. aleinate, acetate, propionate, Mlethane! sulfonlat-, chloroacetate, benzoate or complex anions such as. B.
that of chlorzinc double salts.
The acid radicals E are, for example, those of sulfuric acid (E stands for SO4H), a sulphonic acid (E stands for SO3R, where tR stands for an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical), of hydrogen sulphide (E stands for SH), but preferably those of the hydrohalic acids ( E stands for Cl, Br, etc.).
The reaction of a compound of the formula (V) with an amine of the formula (IV) takes place, for example, in an organic solvent and at temperatures from -50 to +250 C. However, the reaction can also be carried out in an aqueous medium, if appropriate with the addition of organic solvents, or else completely chne solvents at the temperatures mentioned above.
The dyes obtained can, for. B. by filtration, optionally after evaporation or precipitation, isolated.
The new dyes are preferably used for dyeing, padding or printing fibers, threads or textiles made therefrom, which consist of or contain acrylonitrile polymers or acrylonitrile polymers.
Acrylonitrile polymers are to be understood as meaning, in particular, polymers with more than 80% acrylonitrile; Acrylonitrile copolymers are generally copolymers of 8W95 / o acrylonitrile and 20-5 0/0 vinyl acetate, vinyl pyridine, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride and also acrylic acid, acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acid, methacrylic acid esters, etc.
These fibers can be dyed in a mixture with others. Strong, level dyeings with good lightfastness and good all-round fastness properties are obtained, in particular good washing, perspiration, subliming, pleating, decaturing, ironing, rubbing, carbonizing, water, seawater, dry cleaning, tJberfärbe and Solvent-proof. They also have good pH stability, good drawability, good resistance to boiling, e.g. in water, at different pH values; They also reserve wool and other natural or synthetic polyamide fibers excellently.
The dyes generally have good salt compatibility; In addition, some of the dyes of the formula (I) are particularly readily soluble in water or organic solvents.
Dile dyes are also suitable for dyeing or printing polyester or polyolelin fibers modified by acid groups.
Dyeing is usually done in an aqueous, neutral or acidic medium at boiling temperature under atmospheric pressure or in a closed vessel at elevated temperature under elevated pressure. Commercial jaggers do not interfere, but are not required. The dyes are also suitable for dyeing acrylonitrile polymerization products and other, optionally dissolved plastics in the mass in light- and wet-fast shades, for dyeing oils or lacquers or for dyeing cotton, especially tannin cotton, cellulose,
regenerated cellulose and paper in every manufacturing stage. It has been shown that mixtures of two or more dyes of the formula (I) can also be used advantageously.
In the following examples, the parts are parts by weight and the percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are long given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
10 parts of a compound of the formula
EMI3.2
are pulverized and mixed in 40 parts of pyridine. The mixture is heated to 115 and held at this temperature for 20 hours. The dye of the formula
EMI4.1
already starts to crystallize in the heat. It is allowed to cool, filtered, the residue is washed with benzene and dried. The water-soluble, golden-brown powder obtained can be used to dye polyacrylonitrile fibers in golden-yellow shades of good fastness properties.
Dyeing example A
20 parts of the dye obtained according to Example 1 are first intimately mixed with 80 parts of dextrin in a ball mill for 48 hours.
Then 1 part of the preparation obtained in this way is made into a paste with 1 part of 40% acetic acid, 400 parts of distilled water of 60 are poured over the pulp while shaking constantly and the whole thing is briefly boiled.
It is diluted again with 7600 parts of distilled water, 2 parts of glacial acetic acid are added and 100 parts of Dralon I (registered trademark) are added to the dyebath at 60. The material was pretreated for 10 to 15 minutes at 600 in a bath of 8,000 parts of water and 2 parts of glacial acetic acid. It is then heated to 100 within 30 minutes, boiled for 1 hour and rinsed. A level golden yellow dyeing of excellent lightfastness and very good wet fastness properties is obtained.
Dyeing example B (foulard dyeing)
To produce the padding paste, 50 grams! Liters of dye are used (corresponding to the dye preparation made with dextrin in Fär bebeispiel A)
3 grams / liter of sodium alginate
5 grams / liter of concentrated acetic acid 20 grams / liter of Glauber's salt
Polyacrylonitrile fibers are padded cold on a 2- or 3-roll pad using conventional methods.
The squeeze effect is 80/0. After brief intermediate drying at 900 in the stenter, hot flue or with the help of an infrared heater, it is fixed in the nozzle stenter at 17O1900 for 1-3 minutes with dry air, then rinsed, soaped and rinsed again. A golden yellow dyeing with excellent lightfastness properties is obtained.
Dyeing example C (print)
1A printing paste is composed of
75 parts of dye (corresponding to the dye preparation prepared with dextrin in dyeing example A)
10 parts of concentrated acetic acid
450 parts of sodium alginate thickener
25 parts of a cationic plasticizer, e.g. B.
a condensation product of 1 mole of stearic acid and 1 mole of triethanolamine
25 parts of Glauber's salt
415 parts of water and 1000 parts of polyacrylonitrile fibers are printed using the customary hand printing process, the fiber material is then dried in the air, steamed in a star steamer with saturated steam for 20-30 minutes, then rinsed, soaped and rinsed again.
A golden yellow print with very good fastness properties is obtained.
Other valuable dyes, as they can be obtained by the process listed in Example 1, are described in the table below. They correspond to the formula
EMI4.2
where the symbols R9, R11, R12, R18, R16 and R18 have the meanings given in the table.
The ones listed in the description come into consideration as anions:
The symbols K1 to K13 listed in the following table stand for the following radicals: K1 for the radical K2 for the radical K3 for the radical K4 for the radical K5 for the radical K6 for the radical K7 for the radical K8 for the radical Kg for the remainder K10 for the remainder K11 for the remainder K12 for the remainder K13 for the remainder
EMI5.1
In the table, the remainder K can be replaced by any other remainder K in each individual case.
Is z. If, for example, the remainder K1 is given in a table example, one of the symbols K2 to K13 can be used just as well.
