B. in Aceton.
Die neuen kupferhaltigen Reaktivfarbstoffe, welche 3 oder mehr wasserlöslichmachende Gruppen, z. B. Carbonsäure-, oder vorzugsweise Sulfonsäuregruppen, tragen, besitzen gute Löslichkeit in Wasser, gute Stabili tät in den Druckpasten und Klotzlösungen, gute Verträg lichkeit mit Salzen und Hartwasser, gute Reaktivität mit vegetabilischen Fasern, animalischen und syn thetischen Polyamidfasern;

The oxidative copper plating is carried out, for example, according to the method of German patent nos. 807289, 889 196 or 893 699, but preferably according to that in Examples 1 and 4 to 10 of German patent no. 807 2.89 described process with a water-soluble copper salt and hydrogen superoxide.
The saponification of the acylamino group can, for. B. by dissolving in: 10 to 20 times the amount of concentrated sulfuric acid and diluting with water to a sulfuric acid concentration of about 80%, in such a way that the temperature rises to about 100 C, or by heating in an aqueous mineral acid solution,
preferably in an aqueous 3 to 10% strength hydrochloric acid solution at 90 to 100 ° C. or in an aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxides, preferably in a 5 to 10% strength sodium or potassium hydroxide solution, at 70 to 100 C to be performed.
Since the copper complex dye is also decoppered during saponification in acidic medium, this method is particularly suitable for the non-coppered dye. But you can also use it if you want to convert the copper complex compound obtained first into another metal complex compound.
In the case of alkaline hydrolysis, however, it does not matter whether the disazo dye of the formula (II) or the copper complex compound is used, since this is resistant to alkali.
The introduction of the acid residues is usually easiest by using the acid halides in question, sometimes also with the acid anhydrides. It is preferred to work at low temperatures, e.g. B. at 0 to 20 C, and in the presence of acid-binding agents such as sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide or sodium acetate with a weak acidic, neutral or weakly alkaline reaction, for example in the pH range 4 to 9.
For acylation, the carboxylic acid chlorides as such or in, twice to five times the amount of bienzol, chlorobenzene :, methylbenzene, dimethylbenzene or acetone dissolved in the aqueous, well-buffered solution of the amino group-bearing Kör pers dripped, z. B. at a temperature of 2 to 5 C. In the same way, the acylation can also be carried out with the anhydrides.
The introduction of a Dihalogencyanurrest is best in an aqueous medium at about 0 C and with a weakly acidic reaction, z. B. for p11 values between 3 and 5. The cyanuric halide is used as such in solid form or dissolved in an organic solvent, e.g.
B. in acetone. For the primary condensation products of a cyanuric halide one chooses; a temperature of 30 to 60 ° C. and a pH value of 4 to 6 are best, while temperatures between 40 and 100 ° C. and pH values of 3 to 9 are most suitable for the di-, tri- and tetrahalopyrimidines.
If temperatures higher than about 50 C have to be used, it is advisable, with regard to the water volatility of individual halopyrimidines, to work in vessels equipped with a reflux condenser if necessary.
To keep the pH constant, either an acid-binding agent, such as sodium acetate or a phosphate buffer, is added to the reaction mixture at the beginning, or sodium or potassium carbonate or bicarbonate in solid, powdered form or as an aqueous solution is added in small portions during the reaction added.
However, aqueous solutions of sodium or potassium hydroxide are also suitable as neutralizing agents. The addition of small amounts of a wetting agent or emulsifier to the reaction mixture can accelerate the conversion reaction. The reaction is conducted in such a way that only one halogen atom of the halopyrimidine reacts with an exchangeable hydrogen atom or amino group.
The copper complex compounds obtained, containing at least one reactive group, can be separated out from their aqueous solutions by adding salt, then filtered off, optionally washed and then dried.
The copper-containing azo dyes obtained are uniform metal complex compounds in which essentially one atom of copper is bonded to one molecule of disazo compound.
The new copper-containing reactive dyes which contain 3 or more water-solubilizing groups, e.g. B. Carboxylic acid, or preferably sulfonic acid groups, have good solubility in water, good stability in the printing pastes and padding solutions, good compatibility with salts and hard water, good reactivity with vegetable fibers, animal and synthetic polyamide fibers;
they are insensitive to heavy metal ions such as copper, iron and chromium ions and reserved acetate, triacetate, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate and polyalkylene fibers. Thanks to their only moderate substantivity, the unfixed dye content can be easily washed out of the prints or dyeings on cellulose fibers.
The copper-containing reactive dyes, which have 2 to 3 water-solubilizing groups, are particularly suitable for the so-called exhaust process for cellulose fibers.
The new copper-containing reactive dyes are suitable for dyeing, padding and printing fibers of animal origin, e.g. B. wool, silk, synthetic polyamide fibers, e.g. B. nylon, leather, cellulose fibers, z. B .. Cotton, linen and regenerated cellulose fibers, e.g. B. viscose rayon, copper rayon, rayon, as well as mixtures uid / or structures made of these fibers.
The optimal application conditions vary depending on the type of fiber and the dyes used. Animal fibers and synthetic polyamide fibers can be preferentially colored in an acidic, neutral or weakly alkaline medium and printed or fixed, eg. B. in the presence of; Acetic acid, formic acid, sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate, sodium metaphosphate, etc. It can also be used in the presence of leveling agents, e.g.
B. polyoxyethylated fatty amines or mixtures thereof with alkyl polyglycol ethers, color acetic acid to neutral and at the end of the coloration the bath by adding small amounts of an alkaline agent such. B. ammonia, sodium bicarbonate or carbonate, or compounds which yaw alkaline rea in the heat, z. B. hexamethylenetetramine, urea, blunt to a neutral or weakly alkaline reaction.
It is then rinsed thoroughly and, if necessary, acidified with a little acetic acid.
The dyeings and prints obtained have good fastness properties to light, washing, perspiration, fulling, water, seawater, potting, acid, alkali, rubbing, flue gas, chlorine, bleach (peroxide) and dry cleaning fastness (organic solvents).
The dyeing, padding and printing or fixing of the dyes on cellulose fibers is advantageously carried out in an alkaline medium, e.g. B. in the presence of sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, caustic soda, potassium hydroxide, sodium metasilicate, sodium borate, trisodium phosphate, ammonia, etc.
In order to avoid reduction phenomena, mild oxidizing agents such as sodium 1-nitrobenzene-3-sulfonic acid are often advantageously added when the fibers are being dyed, padded or printed. In the case of cellulose fibers, too, the dyes are usually fixed in the heat. Depending on the reactivity of the reactive groups, some of the dyes can also be used at low temperatures, e.g. B. 20 to 40 C, colored or fixed.
The addition of certain quaternizable amines, such as trimethylamine or triethylenediamine or asymmetrical dimethylhydrazine, preferably in stoichiometric amounts, accelerates the fixing of the dye on the fiber so that the fixing temperature can be reduced and / or the fixing time can be shortened. The dyeings and prints on cellulose fibers are particularly notable for their excellent wet fastness properties.
These are based on the formation of a stable chemical bond between the dye molecule and the cellulose molecule. Often not all of the dye takes part in the chemical reaction with the fiber. In these cases, the portion of the unreacted dye is removed from the fiber by suitable operations such as rinsing and / or soaps, if necessary using higher temperatures, synthetic detergents, e.g.
B. alkylarylsulfonates, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauryl polyglycol ether sulfate and mono- and dialkyl phenyl glycol ethers are used. Blue, green, olive, gray and black dyeings and prints are obtained which are good light, washing, water, sea water, perspiration, rubbing, alkali, acid, vulcanizing, chlorine, bleaching - (Peroxide), smoke gas and dry cleaning fastness (organic solvents).
They are also resistant to anti-crease finishes and acidic and alkaline hydrolytic influences.
In the examples below, the parts are parts by weight, the percentages are percentages by weight and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 41.5 parts of the aminomo o.azo dye obtained by acetic acid coupling of the diazo compound from 1-aminobenzene-2,5-disulfonic acid with 1-amino-3-acetylaminobenzene are added in 400 parts Water dissolved neutrally, treated with a solution of 7.2 parts of sodium nitrite in 25 Tei len water and cooled to 0C. 45 parts of 30% strength hydrochloric acid are quickly added with stirring, so that a strongly mineral acid reaction occurs.
The mixture is then left to stir for about 1 hour at 5 to 10 ° C. with excess nitrite. The resulting suspension of the diazonium compound is freed from the excess nitrous acid with a little sulfamic acid and combined with an ice-cold solution of 33 parts of 1-hydroxynaphtha-4,6-disulfonic acid and 30 parts of calcined sodium carbonate in 300 parts of water.
The resulting suspension of the disazo dye is heated to 80 ° C. after the coupling has ended and about 200 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution are added, so that an alkali concentration of about 5% is obtained. It is held at 75 to 85 ° C. for about 30 minutes, after which the saponification to give the amnodisazo dye is complete. The dye is deposited with the aid of sodium chloride, after which the solution has been neutralized by adding concentrated hydrochloric acid.
After this. Filtration, the moist dye is redissolved in 700 parts of water and the resulting solution is allowed to drip over the course of 1 hour into an ice-cold suspension of 15 parts of cyanuric chloride in 50 parts of water. The pH of the reaction mixture is kept at 4.0 to 6.0 by adding sodium hydrogen carbonate.
When there is no longer any aminoazo dye, the dye is salted out and filtered off. The dye paste is dissolved neutrally in 700 parts of water.
60 parts of crystallized sodium acetate and an aqueous solution of 27 parts of crystallized copper sulfate in 100 parts of water are then added.
Then, at a temperature of 25 to 35 ° C., about 170 parts of 3% strength hydrogen peroxide solution are added dropwise within about 6 hours. When the copper plating is complete, the dye is separated off with the aid of sodium chloride and filtered off, dried in vacuo and ground.
It is a dark powder which dissolves in water with a greenish blue color.
Dyeing instructions Cotton is impregnated with a solution which contains, in 1000 parts of water, 60 parts of the new dye, 30 parts of calcined sodium carbonate and 50 parts of sodium sulfate, rolled up and stored at 20 to 30 ° C. for 5 hours . The bluish black color is then rinsed and soaped at the boil for 15 minutes. But it is very light and real when wet.
Example 2 54.5 parts of the amino monoazo dye obtained by acetic acid coupling of the diazo compound from 2-aminonaphthalene-1,5,7-trisulfonic acid with 1-amino-3-actylaminobenzene are obtained according to the in Example 1 diazotized to given manner. The resulting suspension of the diazo compound is treated with an ice-cold,
Soda-alkaline solution of 33 parts of 1 hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid combined. After the coupling has ended, the reaction mixture is heated and the disazo dye is separated off and filtered off in the warm using sodium chloride. The amount of dye paste corresponding to 86 parts of the dye is oxidative <RTI. As described in Example 1
ID = "0004.0089"> copied. The copper complex compound is precipitated using sodium chloride and then filtered off. Then dissolve the dye in 500 parts of hot water,
add 200 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution and hold at a temperature of 90 to 95 C until complete saponification to the amino disazo dye. After neutralization of the excess alkali, the dye is deposited with sodium chloride and filtered off. A neutral solution at about 10 ° C. of 81 parts of the dye obtained in 700 parts of water becomes an ice-cold,
fine suspension of 19 parts of cyanuric chloride in 50 parts of water run. The pH value is kept at 4.0 to 6.0 by adding sodium hydrogen carbonate; the condensation temperature is 4 to 6 C.
When there is no longer any amino dye present, 50 to 60 parts of 25% strength ammonia solution are added so that an ammomia-alkaline reaction clearly occurs. Within 30 minutes the temperature is increased to 3-0 to 40 C.
After about 2 hours, the exchange of a chlorine atom for the amino group is complete, whereupon the dye solution is neutralized to a pH of 7.0 to 8.0 with the aid of concentrated hydrochloric acid solution and then. salt out with the help of sodium chloride. After filtering, drying and grinding you have a dark powder that dissolves in water with a blue color.
