EMI0003.0109
Anschliessend erhitzt man.
<I>Beispiel 6</I> Eine Klotzlösung, welche 30 Teile des Farbstoffs der Formel

For oxidative copper plating, one of the methods of German Patent Nos. 807 289, 889 196 or 893 699, but preferably of German Patent 807 289, Examples 1 and 4 to 10, apply.
If you want to convert the copper complex compound into another metal complex compound, e.g. B. the nickel, chromium or cobalt complex compound, they will be coppered first. This can e.g. B. be carried out in such a way that the copper complex compound is treated in a mineral acid medium at temperatures of 20 to 100 C, whereby it must be ensured that any reactive or other residues that may be present remain unchanged.
After the o, o'-dihydroxy-azo dye has been deposited in an acidic medium, the copper salts present in dissolved form are separated off by filtration.
The copper removal can also: occur if one converts this substituent into the amino group in a copper complex dye which carries a substituent which can easily be converted into the amino group.
If, for example, a copper complex dye containing nitro groups is converted into the aminoazo dye by reduction with the aid of sodium sulfide or sodium hydrogen sulfide, or a corresponding acylamino group-containing dye by hydrolysis using mineral acid in the heat, then copper removal occurs, leaving an o, o'-dihydroxyazo dye.
The convertible into an amino group substituent Z in formula (III) can be a nitro group or an acylamino group, e.g. B. an acetylamino, benzoylamino, oxalylamino or carbalkoxyamino group. The conversion into the amino group takes place by reducing the nitro group, e.g.
B. by treatment with an aqueous solution of sodium sulfide or sodium hydrogen sulfide, preferably at temperatures of 60 to 90 C, or the acyiamino group hydrolyzed, z.
B. by dissolving in 10 to 20 times the amount of concentrated sulfuric acid and diluting with water to a sulfuric acid concentration of about 80%, or by heating in an aqueous solution of alkali metal hydroxides, preferably in a 5- to 10% sodium - or potassium hydroxide solution, at 70 to 100 C.
The conversion of the o, & -dihydroxyazo dyes into the copper or nickel complex dyes can be carried out in: aqueous solution, in weakly acidic (e.g.
B. acetic acid) to slightly alkaline) medium at temperatures of 20 to 70 and in the presence of an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of a low molecular weight aliphatic monocarboxylic acid. The amount of a copper- or nickel-releasing agent containing 1 atom of metal is used for one molecule of dye.
The conversion of the o, & -dihydroxyazo dyes into their chromium and cobalt complex compounds is carried out advantageously in aqueous solution or in organic medium, for example in formamide, or in the concentrated aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of a medium-molecular aliphatic monocarboxylic acid.
It is advantageous to allow an amount of a metal donor containing less than two but at least one atom of metal to act on two molecules of monoazo dye.
The chromium and cobalt-containing azo dyes obtained are uniform metal complex compounds in which essentially one atom of metal is bound to two molecules of monoazo compound (so-called 1: 2 metal complexes).
In the following examples, the parts are parts by weight and the percentages are percentages by weight. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
<I> Example 1 </I> A mercerized cotton fabric is printed with a printing paste containing 30 parts of the dye of the formula
EMI0003.0109
100 parts of urea, 385 parts of water, 450 parts of 4% sodium alginate thickener, 1-0 part of 1-nitrobenzene-3 "sulfonic acid sodium and 25 parts of sodium carbonate. It is dried and fixed by steaming for 10 minutes.
This is then rinsed in the usual way with cold and then with hot water, if necessary, soaped at the boil and again rinsed hot and cold. After drying, a red print with good light and wet fastness properties is obtained.
The dye used can be produced as follows. 81 parts of the by coupling of 2-diazo-6- (4 ', 6'-dichloropyrimidyl-2'-amino) -naphthalene-4,8-di: sulfonic acid with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone-2' , 4 '- disulfonic acid obtained dye are dissolved in 1500 parts of water and treated with a solution of 25 parts of crystallized copper sulfate in 150 parts of water. The pH is adjusted to 6.5 to 7.5 by adding 20 parts of 25% strength ammonia solution.
Then, at 30 to 35, 80 parts of 10% strength hydrogen peroxide solution are added dropwise over the course of 30 minutes. The color changes from yellow to red. After stirring for an hour, coppering is complete. The copper complex dye formed is deposited with the aid of sodium chloride, filtered off and dried.
<I> Example 2 </I> A cotton fabric is impregnated with a solution containing 8 parts of the oxidatively coppered coupling product of diazotized 2-amino-6-trichloropyrimidylamino-naphthalene 4,8-disulfonic acid and 1 - Hy - contains droxynaphthalene-3,6,8-trisulfonic acid, 20 parts of urea, 2 parts of sodium carbonate and 100 parts of water, squeezed between rollers to an increase in dry weight of about 70% and dried.
Then it is heated. 4 to 5 minutes dry to 140 to 150, rinses cold and hot, soaps for 15 minutes at the boil with a 0.2% solution of a high-performance detergent and rinses again. A boil-fast, fixed, navy blue coloration is obtained.
The dye used can be obtained as follows: 31.8 parts of 2,6-diaminonaphthalene-4,8-disulfonic acid are dissolved in 300 parts of water with the addition of 30 parts of 30% strength sodium hydroxide solution.
Then 23 parts of 2,4,5,6-tetrachloropyrimidine in 100 parts of acetone are added with stirring and the mixture is stirred under reflux at 50 for 20 hours. At the same time, the pH of the solution is kept at 4.5 to 5.5 by adding dilute soda solution. The reaction product gradually separates out in crystalline form.
When about 90510 of the diamino compound have reacted, the addition of about 60 parts of 20% soda solution is made brilliant yellow-alkaline, whereupon most of it dissolves. Insoluble components are filtered off. From the separation of the reaction product from the filtrate he follows by adding sodium chloride. The resulting precipitate is filtered off, stirred in 300 parts of water at 0 ° and made acidic to Congo by adding 40 parts of 30% strength hydrochloric acid.
A solution of 5.5 parts of sodium nitrite in 20 parts of water is then added dropwise to the suspension at 0-5. The resulting suspension of the diazo compound is combined with a soda-alkaline, ice-cold solution of 33 parts of 1-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6,8-trisulfonic acid and 50 parts of sodium carbonate in 300 parts of water. The red monoazo dye formed is deposited with the aid of common salt and filtered off.
The amount of filter residue, which corresponds to 90 parts of 100% monoazo dye, is dissolved in water and the oxidative coppering is carried out according to the method given in Example 1. <I> Example 3 </I> 60 parts of the dye used according to Example 2 are processed together with 200 parts of urea, 535 parts of water, 200 parts of 3% sodium alginate thickener and 5 parts of a highly sulfonated castor oil to form a printing paste.
You print wool using the Vigoureux printing process, steaming twice for 45 minutes with intermediate cooling, and it keeps a very real print. <I> Example 4 </I> Mercerized cotton sateen is printed as indicated in Example 1, but using the <B> 1. </B> 2-chromium complex dye,

A cotton fabric is impregnated with this pad solution, between rollers to a dry weight increase of; about <B> 70% </B> squeezed and dried. The dyeing is then subjected to a dry heat treatment for about 5 minutes at 150 ° C, rinsed cold and hot, soaped at the boil for 15 minutes with a 0.05 to 0.1% solution of a non-ionic detergent and rinsed. A blue coloration which is fixed in a boil-proof manner is obtained.
The dye used can be obtained by alkaline coupling of diazotized 2-amdno-6-acetylamino-naphthalene-4,8-disulfonic acid with 1-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid, oxidative coppering, saponification of the acetylamino group with sulfuric acid, condensation with tetrachloropyrimidine at pH 5,
