B. Benzoyl, Alkenyl, z.
B. Allyl, Chlorvinyl, substituiertes Alkyl, z. B. Carboxymethyll, Chlor- oder Brommethyl; 2,4,5,6- Tetrachlor- oder -Tetrabrompyrimidin, 2,6-Dichlor- oder -Dibrompyrimidin-4-carbonsäureäthyl:
ester, 2,5-Trichlor- pyrimidän, die gegebenenfalls am Stickstoffatom substi- tuierten 4- bzw. 5-Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäune- amidd'erivate des 2,6-Dichlor- oder -Dibrompyrimidins, 2,5,6-Trichlo,r-4-methylpyrimidin, 2,4-Dichlor-5-chlor- methyl 6-m@ethyipyrimidlin;
Die Umsietzung wird am besten in schwach alkali- schem., neutralem bis schwach saurem Medium, vor zugsweise jedoch innerhalb des pH-Bereiches von 9 bis 3, durchgeführt. Zur Neutralisation des :entstehenden einen;
-bicarbonat in fester,
B. in Gegenwart von Essigssäure, Ameisensäure, Schwefelsäure, Ammoniumsulfat, Natrsummetaphosph at usw.
Beispiel 2 26,9 Teile 1-Amino-2-hydroxyb;enzol-3,5-disulfon- säure werden als. feines. Pulver in 150 Teilen Wasser suspendiert und hierauf mittels 12 Teilen Natrium hydroxyd in Lösung gebracht. Nachdem in dieser Lösung noch zusätzlich 7,2 Teile Natriumnitrit aufgelöst worden sind, l;
Dann suspendiert man: in:
Process for the production of active dyes of the formazan series The subject of the invention is a process. for the production of metal-containing reactive dyes:
substances of the formazan series, which in the metal-free state of the formula
EMI0001.0012

where Hal is chlorine or bromine and t is the optionally further substituted radical of a primary or secondary aliphatic,
alicyclic, aromatic or heterocyclic amine,: an aliphatic, alicyclic, aromatic or heterocyclic hydroxy or thiol compound, but in particular the remainder of.
Aniline, its alkylL. or sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid derivatives, of lower mono- and di-alkylamines and the remainder of ammonia, furthermore 2,4,6-tri-chloropyrimidine and 2,4,6-tribromopymimidine, and their derivatives,
which carry, for example, the following substituents in the 5-position: methyl, ethyl, optionally substituted carboxylic acid or sulfonic acid amide on the nitrogen atom, carboxylic acid methyl or ethyl ester, acyl, e.g. Benzoyl, alkenyl, e.g.
B. allyl, chlorovinyl, substituted alkyl, e.g. B. carboxymethyll, chloro- or bromomethyl; 2,4,5,6- tetrachloro- or -trabromopyrimidine, 2,6-dichloro- or -dibromopyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid ethyl:
esters, 2,5-trichloropyrimidene, the 4- or 5-carboxamide or sulfonic acid amide derivatives of 2,6-dichloro- or dibromopyrimidine, 2,5,6-trichlo, which may be substituted on the nitrogen atom, r-4-methylpyrimidine, 2,4-dichloro-5-chloromethyl 6-m @ ethyipyrimidline;
and 2,6-dichloro-4-trichloromethylpyrimidine.
As a rule, the easiest way to introduce the acid residues is to use the relevant acid halides, and in some cases also the acid anhydrides. It is preferred to work at low temperatures, e.g. B.
at 0 to 20 C, and in the presence of acid-binding agents such as sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide or sodium acetate for weakly acidic, neutral or weakly. alkaline reaction, for example in the pH range 4 to 9.
For acylation, the carboxylic acid chlorides are dissolved as such or in twice to five times the amount of benzene, chlorobenzene, methylbenzene, dimethylbenzene or acetone, and dripped into the aqueous, well-buffered solution of the body carrying the amino group , e.g.
B ,. at a temperature of 2-5 C. In the same way, the acylation can also be carried out with dien anhydrides or isocyanates. The introduction of a cyanuric residue is best carried out in an aqueous medium at around 0 C and in a weakly acidic reaction, e.g.
B. at pH values between 2 and 5, are specified. The cyanuric halide is used as such: in solid form or dissolved in an organic solvent, for example in acetone.
For the primary condensation products of a cyanuric halide, it is best to choose a temperature of 30 to 60 C and a pH value of 4 to 6, while for the di-, tri- and tetrahalopyrimidene temperatures between 40 and 100 C and p11- Values between 9 and:
3 most suitable. are.
With regard to the water vapor volatility of individual halopyrimidines, it is advisable to work in vessels equipped with a reflux condenser, if necessary. The reaction is conducted in such a way that only one halogen atom reacts with an exchangeable hydrogen atom.
The reaction is best carried out in a weakly alkaline, neutral to weakly acidic medium, but preferably within the pH range from 9 to 3. To neutralize the: emerging one;
Equivalents of hydrogen halide are added to the reaction solution either at the beginning of an acid-binding agent such as sodium acetate, or during the reaction in small portions of sodium or potassium carbonate or bicarbonate in solid,
in powdered form or as a concentrated aqueous solution. Suitable neutral aesants are: but also aqueous solutions of sodium or potassium hydroxide. The addition of small amounts of a wetting agent or emulsifying agent to the reaction mixture can accelerate the conversion reaction.
The coupling of the diazo compound from the amine of formula (II) with the hydrazone of formula (III) is z. B. in weakly acidic, neutral to alkaline Me medium, preferably in the pH range from 5 to 10, at low temperatures, advantageously at 0 to 30 C, preferably at 0 to 10 C, performed.
The coupling conditions are to be chosen so that the reactive group bound to the diazo component or to the hydrazone or to both is not damaged; z. B. in an alkaline medium at 0 to 5 C, in a neutral to slightly acidic medium at temperatures up to 30 C, depending on the diazo compound used.
After the coupling has ended, the finished reactive dye can be salted out with sodium or potassium chloride or precipitated with acid from its optionally previously neutralized solution or suspension, then filtered off with suction and washed. and be dried.
The water-soluble dyes, which according to the invention carry at least one reactive group, are suitable for dyeing, potting and printing fibers of animal origin, e.g. B. wool, silk, synthetic polyamide fibers, e.g. B.
Nylon, leather, cellulose fibers, e.g. B .. cotton, linen, hemp and regenerated cellulose fibers, e.g. B. viscose rayon, copper rayon, rayon, as well as mixtures and / or Ge form from these fibers.
The optimal app-ikatioms- conditions differ depending on the type of fiber and the dyes used. Animal fibers and synthetic polyamide fibers are preferably dyed in an acidic, neutral or weakly alkaline medium and printed or fixed, e.g.
B. in the presence of acetic acid, formic acid, sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate, Natrsummetaphosphat, etc. You can also in the presence of leveling agents z. B .. palyoxäthylierten Fettaminen or mixtures thereof with alkyl polyglycol ethers, color acetic acid to neutral and at the end of the color the bath by adding small amounts.
Amounts of an alkali-reacting agent, e.g. B. ammonia, sodium bicarbonate, sodia, etc., or compounds which yaw alkaline rea in the heat, z. B. hexamethylenetetramine, urea, up to neutral; or dull weak alkaline reaction. This is followed by a thorough rinse and, if necessary, acidified with a little acetic acid.
When dyeing and printing fibers and fabrics of animal origin, fibers and structures made of synthetic polyamide often result in a less pronounced bond between the dye molecule and the fiber, depending on the reactivity of the dye,
in which the dyes have an affinity for the fiber partly thanks to their acidic character.
The dyeing, padding and printing or fixing of the dyes on cellulose fibers is advantageously carried out in an alkaline medium, e.g. B. in the presence of sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide solution, potassium hydroxide solution, sodium metasilicate, sodium borate, trisodium phosphate, ammonia, etc., whereby the commonly used mesh, leveling, thickening or other textile or
Can use leather auxiliaries. To avoid reduction phenomena, mild oxidizing agents such as sodium 1-nitrobenzene-3-sulfonic acid are often advantageously added when dyeing, padding or printing cellulose fibers.
In the case of cellulose fibers, too, the dyes are usually fixed under heat. Some of the dyes, e.g. B. those that are linked to a tri- or dihalopyrimidyl radical via an oxygen atom, or which are linked to a 4,6-dihalo-1,3,5-triazinyl-2 radical via an oxygen or nitrogen bridge , when using sufficiently strong alkalis,
such as sodium or potassium hydroxide or trisodium phosphate, even at low temperatures, e.g. B. 20 to 40 C, colored or fixed.
Did dyeings and prints on cellulose fibers are particularly characterized by their excellent wet fastness properties. These are based on the formation of a stable chemical bond between the dye molecule and the cellulose molecule. Often not all of the dye takes part in the chemical reaction with the fiber. The proportion of not
converted dye is in these cases by suitable operation, such as rinsing and / or soaps, optionally using higher temperatures, removed from the fiber, synthetic detergents such. B. alkylarylsulfonates, sodium lauryl: sulfate, sodium lauryl polyglycol ether sulfate and optionally carboxymethylated alkyl polyglycol ethers, mono- and dialkylphenyl polyglycol ethers, are used.
The dyeings and prints obtained on wool, silk and synthetic polyamide fibers have good to very good fastness to light, water, washing, fulling, perspiration, rubbing and drying.
The dyeings and prints on cellulose fibers have good to very good light fastness and very good wet fastness (fastness to perspiration, washing, water, soda boiling) as well as good fastness to rubbing and dry cleaning and are insensitive to organic solvents.
The new dyes reserved for acetate and triacetate art: ide, polyacrylonitrile fibers and linear aromatic polyester fibers.
In the examples below, the parts are parts by weight, the percentages are percentages by weight and the temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
Example 1 37 parts of 1-amino-3-trichloropyrimidylaminobenzene-6-sulfonic acid are dissolved in 300 parts of water and 13.3 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution.
This solution is mixed with 46 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid at 0 with thorough stirring and then diazotized at the same temperature by adding a concentrated solution of sodium nitrite. A solution of 50 parts of the hydrazone from glyoxylic acid (6-sulfonaphthyl-1-amide) is added to this diazo solution
and 2-hydroxy-5-sulfophenylhydrazime and a solution of 25 parts of copper sulfate pentahydrate in 300 parts of water. The reaction mass, which has always been cooled to 0, is then added gradually over the course of 3 hours with a 12% strength aqueous sodium carbonate solution so that the pH remains between 7.5 and 9.0.
The mixture is then stirred at 0 until the coupling is complete and then acidified with slightly dilute hydrochloric acid: (pH value: about 5.0). Finally, the new copper-containing reddish-tinged blue dye is obtained at 35 by precipitating with sodium chloride, and abfil:
trier isolated in the usual way. When dried and ground, the dye is a dark powder that dyes cellulose fibers in real blue tones.
Dyeing instructions A cotton fabric is padded at 50 with a 1% solution of this dye, which also contains 20 parts of sodium carbonate and 200 parts of urea per 1000 parts dissolved, it is dried and heated to 150 for 5 minutes. After rinsing, subsequent 30 minutes of boiling soap and rinsing again, you get a level and real coloration.
Example 2 26.9 parts of 1-amino-2-hydroxyb; enzene-3,5-disulfonic acid are used as. fine. Powder suspended in 150 parts of water and then brought into solution by means of 12 parts of sodium hydroxide. After an additional 7.2 parts of sodium nitrite have been dissolved in this solution, l;
ä, the same is added dropwise over 20 minutes to a mixture of 40 parts of 30% strength hydrochloric acid, 100 parts of water and 150 parts of crushed ice. When the diazotization is complete, the excess saline acid is destroyed with a little aminosulfonic acid. Then you suspend: in:
the ice-cold diazo solution 60 parts of the hydrazone from glyoxylic acid (5-sul @ fonaphthyl, 1-amide) and 2-carboxy-4-trichloropyrimidylL aminophenylhydrazine, a solution of 25 parts of copper sulfate pentahydrate in 200 parts of water.
Subsequently, 0 to 5, the reaction mass in the course of. About 3 hours as many parts of a 12% aqueous sodium carbonate solution are gradually added until the optimum pH value for the coupling reaction (7.0 to 8.5) is reached.
After coupling is complete, the new reddish-tinged blue dye is precipitated from a weakly acidic environment at 40 using table salt, collected on a filter, dried and ground. With the dark powder now available, cotton can be dyed in real blue tones using the method described in the previous example.
