Timepiece of reduced height In timepieces of reduced height, in particular so called extra-flat, and also having a relatively large diameter, the pivoting of the center axis encounters difficulties due to the approximation of the two bearings in which it turns.
The closer two opposing bearings are to each other, the greater the inclination of the axis resulting from a position error of the bearings. The axis is then no longer perpendicular to the main plane of the movement.
Now, these bearings are usually located in two parts of the movement, such as a bridge and the plate, in turn surmounted by the minute track, the dial and the hands, it is obvious that the heights of all these elements and the spaces between them. separating, will be extremely reduced in a very flat room.
It has already been proposed to pivot the center axis, on the one hand in the frame of the movement, on the other hand directly in the roadway, which makes it possible to gain height between the pivot points, that is to say - say to increase the distance without increasing the height of the movement. This arrangement, on the other hand, makes the dismantling of the road difficult. As the timer cannot be partially dismantled, the entire movement must be dismantled in each case. Another drawback lies in the fact that, if the end of the center axis opposite the roadway pivots in a stone, the hole of which is rarely centered, no centering correction is possible at the opposite end.
The present invention overcomes these drawbacks by providing that the roadway is pivoted in a bar, the center of the plate being hollowed out.
It is then sufficient to remove the bar in order to be able to extract the roadway or to rectify the holes in the centering or fixing members of the latter to adjust and center the roadway as desired.
The appended drawing shows two embodiments of the object of the invention, given by way of example. Each of the two figures relates to one of them and shows a partial cross section of the movement.
In fig. 1, the center axis considered is at 1; it is pivoted, on the one hand in the center wheel bridge 2, on the other hand in the carriageway 3. At 4 and 5 are the hands and at 6 the dial.
The plate 7 is, as can be seen, hollowed out at the location of the roadway, which pivots in a center wheel bar 8, which screws 9 and 10 fix to the plate, with respect to which it is centered by the feet 11 and 12. The bar supports and guides here also the axis 13 of the timer wheel 14 and the timer pinion 15.
The maximum spacing between the support points of the center axis corresponds in this example to the distance between the median planes of the bridge 2 and of the bar 8.

In the example according to fig. 2, this distance is further increased, due to the fact that the bar designated here by 16 is integral with a pivot tube 17 of the carriageway 18, which is then guided, not in the immediate vicinity of its pinion as before, but in the vicinity of the end of its barrel, that is to say approximately at the level of the 19 hour hand.
