Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>
 Oscillating winding mass for timepieces Certain oscillating winding masses for timepieces include a heavy part supported by a plate which is itself rotatably mounted on the frame of the part. We have already had the idea of practicing in this plate a small number of slots of 2 to 4 radials or a large circular or semi-circular opening in order that this mass can better absorb the shocks to which it is subjected during its rotation. .

  The object of the present invention is to increase this result by a greater number of slits made according to a special arrangement thereof.

  The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the present invention as well as two variants.

  Fig. 1 is a plan view of the embodiment, and FIG. 2, a section through II-II of FIG. 1.

  Figs. 3 and 4 each show, in plan, a variant.

  The embodiment shown comprises a heavy part 1 fixed to a: thin plate 2, in the form of a sector, by means of rivets 3; at its top, this plate is provided with a pin 4 intended to engage in bearings, not shown, of the frame of the timepiece.

  The plate is perforated so as to have a large number of slits 5 in an arc of a circle, the center of which is on the axis of rotation 4a of the plate. They are arranged transversely to the spokes 8 of this plate and are arranged in four staggered rows; they limit between them elastic tongues 6 connected by also elastic bridges 7 which are arranged along the spokes 8.

     Let us suppose that a radial shock is exerted on the .bridge 7; it will be transmitted to the two tabs 6a and 6b located on the right and on the left; the tongue 6a for example is connected to the bridge 7a; as it is also elastic, it will absorb some of the shock and transmit it to the tongue 6c going from the bridge 7a to the bridge 7b which will in turn act on the following tongues; in this way, at each impact, almost all of the tabs will be used; a similar phenomenon will occur during a radial impact, regardless of the direction of these impacts.

  The variant of FIG. 3 shows rectilinear slots, and that of FIG. 4 includes, next to a main beach, 9, two beaches. side 10 also perforated according to the same principle.
