Indicateur de temps. L'objet de l'invention est un indicateur de temps, par exemple une montre, une horloge, une pendule.
Il est caractérisé par le fait qu'il com porte un cadran immobile qui présente une graduation correspondant à des divisions' \;re lativement petites du.temps et dans lequel est ménagée une fenêtre annulaire où appa raît un bras rotatif indiquant ces divisions; un mécanisme sautant indiquant dans un guichet du cadran des divisions relative ment grandes du temps.
Le dessin annexé représente, à échelle fortement exagérée, une forme d'exécution de l'indicateur de temps, donnée à titre d'exemple et constituée par une montre.
La fig. 1 en est une vue de face; La fig. 2 est une coupe par la ligne II-II de la fig. 1.
La montre. représentée comporte le ca dran fixe a, se composant d'un anneau péri phérique circulaire extérieur b, portant une graduation e en 60 minutes, et d'un disque central circulaire d; l'anneau c et le disqued sont séparés par une fenêtre circulaire e, mais sont réunis l'un à l'autre par des ponts f situés de distance en distance.
Sous le cadran a tourne un bras ,g, mis en mouvement par le mécanisme non repré senté de la montre de façon à faire un tour en 60 minutes ; il porte à soli extré mité libre une pierre précieuse h naturelle ou artificielle, par exemple un diamant, un rubis, une émeraude, se trouvant en regard de la fenêtre e et indiquant la minute sur- la graduation c.
Dans la partie se trouvant en face de la soixantième minute de la graduation c du disque d est ménagé un guichet trapé zoïdal i où apparaissent, à raison d'un à la fois, des chiffres de 1 à 12 présentés par un disque sautant ,j et indiquant les heures.
Ce dernier est monté sur un axe k muni d'une roue en étoile l à douze branches, pivotée sous le disque d, soumise à l'action d'un ressort d'arrêt<I>ira</I> disposé de manière à la maintenir toujours à une position cor respondant à l'apparition complète d'un chiffre du disque j dans le guichet i grâce au fait qu'il est solidaire d'une saillie trian gulaire se logeant entre deux branches de la roue l; cette dernière peut être déplacée par une roue en étoile n à douze branches '' également pivotée sous le disque d et desti née à être déplacée d'un douzième de tour à chaque tour du bras g par une butée o de celui-ci ;
la roue n est maintenue à chacune des positions que la butée o lui donne par un ressort p pourvu d'une saillie triangu laire se logeant entre deux branches de cette roue n. Le bras g passe en-dessous des roues d, n.
Le disque d peut présenter une déco ration.
Le fonctionnement de la montre décrite est le suivant Le bras g tourne sous l'action du mé canisme et fait un tour en 60 minutes ; sa pierre<B>le</B> indique à chaque instant la minute qu'il est par sa position dans la fenêtre e. Lorsqu'il arrive dans le voisinage immédiat de la soixantième minute, sa butée o vient en prise avec l'une des branches de la roue n et la fait tourner d'un douzième de tour ; cette roue n, en combinaison avec le ressort m, fait alors avancer brusquement la roue l d'un douzième de tour et l'heure suivante apparaît subitement dans le gui chet i.
La commande du disque j peut avoir lieu au moyen d'un autre organe que le bras g.
La forme du guichet peut varier. L'indicateur de temps peut ne pas être une montre.

The watch. shown comprises the fixed ca dran a, consisting of an outer circular peripheral ring b, bearing a graduation e in 60 minutes, and a circular central disc d; the ring c and the disqued are separated by a circular window e, but are joined to each other by bridges f located at intervals.
Under the dial a rotates an arm, g, set in motion by the not shown mechanism of the watch so as to make one revolution in 60 minutes; he wears at the free end a precious stone h natural or artificial, for example a diamond, a ruby, an emerald, located opposite the window e and indicating the minute on the graduation c.
In the part opposite the sixtieth minute of the c graduation of the disc d there is a zoidal trapezoidal window i where figures from 1 to 12 appear, one at a time, presented by a jumping disc, j and indicating the hours.
The latter is mounted on an axis k provided with a star wheel l with twelve branches, pivoted under the disc d, subjected to the action of a stop spring <I> ira </I> arranged so as to always maintain it in a position corresponding to the complete appearance of a digit of the disc j in the window i thanks to the fact that it is integral with a triangular projection lodged between two branches of the wheel l; the latter can be moved by a star wheel n with twelve branches '' also pivoted under the disc d and intended to be moved by a twelfth of a turn on each revolution of the arm g by a stop o thereof;
the wheel n is held in each of the positions that the stop o gives it by a spring p provided with a triangular projection which is housed between two branches of this wheel n. The arm g passes under the wheels d, n.
The disc d may have a decoration.
The operation of the watch described is as follows. The left arm rotates under the action of the mechanism and makes one revolution in 60 minutes; its stone <B> le </B> indicates at every moment the minute it is by its position in the window e. When it arrives in the immediate vicinity of the sixtieth minute, its stop o engages with one of the branches of the wheel n and turns it by a twelfth of a turn; this wheel n, in combination with the spring m, then causes the wheel l to advance abruptly by a twelfth of a turn and the following hour suddenly appears in the gui chet i.
The control of the disc j can take place by means of another member than the arm g.
The shape of the window may vary. The time indicator may not be a watch.
