Description

  

      Dispositif    de serrage    Le présent brevet a pour objet un dispositif de  serrage plus spécialement destiné à     maintenir    une  pièce à percer, pendant son perçage, dans une ma  chine-outil automatique.  



  Ce dispositif est caractérisé par le fait qu'il com  porte une pince comprenant un organe de serrage en  matériau     élastiquement        déformable    présentant d'une  part une cavité dans laquelle la pièce à tenir est  serrée     élastiquement    par les parois latérales de cette  cavité et d'autre part un rebord entourant cette ca  vité, et des moyens susceptibles d'agir sur ce rebord  de manière à agrandir, par déformation élastique,  les dimensions de la cavité pour permettre la mise  en place et le retrait de la pièce.  



  Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple,  une forme d'exécution du dispositif qui fait l'objet  de l'invention.  



  La     fig.    1 en est une vue en coupe axiale, une  pièce étant serrée dans la pince ;  la     fig.    2 est une vue semblable montrant la  pince ouverte.  



  Le dispositif représenté est formé d'une pince 10  et d'une lunette 11 destinée à commander     l'ouverture     de cette pince.  



  La pince 10 comprend une tige     verticale    12 pré  sentant à son extrémité supérieure un tronçon 13,  de diamètre réduit, sur lequel est chassé un man  chon en caoutchouc 14 muni d'un rebord 15. Le  corps 16 de ce manchon est     serti    dans une douille  métallique 17 dont le fond prend appui sur l'épaule  ment     limitant    le corps et le tronçon 13 de la tige, et  dont la paroi     cylindrique    empêche toute extension  latérale du corps 16. Le bord supérieur de cette  douille est enfoncé dans la masse du manchon.  



  Ce manchon dépasse la face terminale chanfrei  née du tronçon 13 de la tige de manière à former    une cavité 18 dans laquelle la pièce à percer 19, en  l'occurrence une pierre d'horlogerie, est serrée     élas-          tiquement    par la paroi intérieure du manchon.  



  La portion du manchon 14 en contact avec le  tronçon 13     étant    comprimée par ce dernier et la  pierre 19 étant de diamètre sensiblement égal à celui  de ce tronçon, il en résulte que la paroi latérale de  la cavité 18 exerce sur la pierre 19 non seulement  une action radiale de serrage mais encore une action  axiale qui l'applique contre la face     chanfreinée    du  tronçon 13, et lui assigne une position parfaitement  bien définie.  



  L'ouverture de la pince est     commandée    par la  lunette 11 qui est alors disposée concentriquement  à la pince 10, au-dessus de celle-ci. Son diamètre  extérieur correspond sensiblement à celui du rebord  15. Des moyens non représentés permettent de dé  placer verticalement cette lunette de manière à l'ap  pliquer contre le bord du rebord 15 et à déformer       élastiquement    le manchon 14 de la façon     illustrée    à  la     fig.    2.  



  Cette déformation, qui     n'affecte    que la partie  supérieure du manchon laquelle pivote sur le bord  supérieur de la douille 17,     donne    à la cavité une  forme évasée vers le haut permettant la mise en place  de la     _pièce    et son retrait.  



  Si .la pince     est    destinée à une machine à percer  du type de celle décrite dans le brevet susmentionné,  on ménagera un dégagement dans la face chanfreinée  de la tige,     servant    de siège à la pièce à percer, pour  le passage du foret.

  The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device which is the subject of the invention.



  Fig. 1 is a view in axial section, one part being clamped in the clamp; fig. 2 is a similar view showing the clamp open.



  The device shown is formed by a clamp 10 and a bezel 11 intended to control the opening of this clamp.



  The clamp 10 comprises a vertical rod 12 having at its upper end a section 13, of reduced diameter, on which is driven a rubber sleeve 14 provided with a rim 15. The body 16 of this sleeve is crimped in a sleeve. metal 17 whose bottom rests on the shoulder limiting the body and the section 13 of the rod, and whose cylindrical wall prevents any lateral extension of the body 16. The upper edge of this sleeve is embedded in the mass of the sleeve.



  This sleeve protrudes from the chamfered end face of the section 13 of the rod so as to form a cavity 18 in which the part to be drilled 19, in this case a timepiece, is clamped elastically by the inner wall of the sleeve. .



  The portion of the sleeve 14 in contact with the section 13 being compressed by the latter and the stone 19 being of diameter substantially equal to that of this section, it follows that the side wall of the cavity 18 exerts on the stone 19 not only a radial clamping action but also an axial action which applies it against the chamfered face of the section 13, and assigns it a perfectly well defined position.



  The opening of the clamp is controlled by the bezel 11 which is then arranged concentrically with the clamp 10, above the latter. Its outer diameter corresponds substantially to that of the rim 15. Means, not shown, make it possible to move this bezel vertically so as to apply it against the edge of the rim 15 and to elastically deform the sleeve 14 as illustrated in FIG. 2.



  This deformation, which only affects the upper part of the sleeve which pivots on the upper edge of the sleeve 17, gives the cavity a flared upward shape allowing the installation of the piece and its removal.



  If the clamp is intended for a drilling machine of the type described in the above-mentioned patent, a clearance will be provided in the chamfered face of the rod, serving as a seat for the part to be drilled, for the passage of the drill.
