Boîte d'emballage
La présente invention a pour objet une boîte d'emballage comprenant deux parties liées l'une à l'autre par l'un de leurs bords et pourvues de rebords plats qui viennent se poser l'un contre l'autre dans l'état fermé de la boîte, caractérisée en ce que le rebord de l'une au moins desdites parties présente une ligne d'affaiblissement parallèle au bord de liaison et déterminant une patte qui est pourvue d'au moins un onglet s'étendant dans son plan au-delà de cette ligne, I'ensemble constitué par l'onglet et la patte étant susceptible d'être pivoté sur cette ligne, à l'encontre d'une certaine résistance élastique ayant pour effet d'appuyer l'onglet sur le rebord de l'autre partie de boîte en vue de maintenir la boîte dans l'état fermé.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue de face de la boîte dans l'état fermé;
la fig. 2 est une coupe transversale selon la ligne ll-ll de la fig. 1, et
la fig. 3 est une coupe transversale analogue à la fig. 2 et montre la boîte au point d'être fermée ou ouverte.
La boîte d'emballage représentée consiste en une seule pièce de carton fort. Elle comporte deux pièces 1, 2 rectangulaires semblables à des coquilles, reliées l'une à l'autre sur un côté par une articulation constituée par une faible épaisseur du carton en 3 et pourvues sur les quatre côtés d'un rebord plat 4. Les rebords des deux parties 1, 2 viennent se poser l'un sur l'autre dans l'état fermé de la boîte.
La partie 1 présente, dans la partie de rebord qui est opposée à la charnière 3, une échancrure 5 de forme approximativement rectangulaire. La section correspondante du rebord de la partie de boîte 2 présente une ligne d'affaiblissement 6 parallèle à la charnière 3 et déterminant une patte 7 dont le bord extérieur est aligné sur le bord des sections adjacentes dont elle est séparée par des fentes 8 perpendiculaires à la ligne d'affaiblissement 6.
Une pièce formée par un prolongement replié de la patte 7 et collée sur cette patte présente une partie qui s'étend au-delà de la ligne d'affaiblissement 6 pour former un onglet 9.
L'ensemble constitué par l'onglet 9 et la patte 7 est susceptible d'être pivoté sur la ligne d'affaiblissement 6, comme le montre la fig. 3 représentant la boîte au moment de son ouverture ou de sa fermeture, à l'encontre d'une certaine résistance élastique. Quand la patte a ainsi été amenée dans une position dans laquelle elle est inclinée d'un certain angle sur la section de rebord attenante, l'onglet 9 peut passer librement à travers l'échancrure 5.
Si, après avoir fermé la boîte, on lâche la patte 7, celle-ci a la tendance à revenir dans sa position initiale, grâce à l'élasticité de la matière qui la relie avec la section attenante du rebord de la partie 2; mais, comme la patte ne peut pas revenir tout à fait dans sa position initiale quand la boîte est à l'état fermé, la résistance élastique résiduelle a pour effet d'appuyer l'onglet 9 sur le rebord de la partie de boîte 1 en vue de maintenir la boîte dans l'état fermé, ainsi qu'on le voit à la fig. 2.
On pourrait imaginer une variante dans laquelle la ligne d'affaiblissement 6 serait située à la même distance, ou même à une plus grande distance de la charnière 3 que le bord extérieur des parties adjacentes de rebord.
Dans ce cas, il ne faudrait pas prévoir d'échancrure 5 et l'onglet viendrait s'appuyer sur le bord extérieur, rectiligne ou curviligne, de la partie de boîte 1.
Packing box
The present invention relates to a packaging box comprising two parts linked to one another by one of their edges and provided with flat edges which come to rest against each other in the closed state. of the box, characterized in that the rim of at least one of said parts has a line of weakness parallel to the connecting edge and defining a tab which is provided with at least one tab extending in its plane at the- beyond this line, the assembly formed by the tab and the tab being capable of being pivoted on this line, against a certain elastic resistance having the effect of pressing the tab on the edge of the other part of the box in order to keep the box in the closed state.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a front view of the box in the closed state;
fig. 2 is a cross section taken along line II-II of FIG. 1, and
fig. 3 is a cross section similar to FIG. 2 and shows the box to the point of being closed or opened.
The packaging box shown consists of a single piece of strong cardboard. It comprises two rectangular pieces 1, 2 similar to shells, connected to each other on one side by an articulation formed by a small thickness of the cardboard in 3 and provided on all four sides with a flat rim 4. The edges of the two parts 1, 2 come to rest on each other in the closed state of the box.
Part 1 has, in the rim part which is opposite to the hinge 3, a notch 5 of approximately rectangular shape. The corresponding section of the rim of the box part 2 has a line of weakness 6 parallel to the hinge 3 and determining a tab 7 whose outer edge is aligned with the edge of the adjacent sections from which it is separated by slots 8 perpendicular to the line of weakness 6.
A part formed by a folded extension of the tab 7 and glued to this tab has a part which extends beyond the line of weakness 6 to form a tab 9.
The assembly formed by the tab 9 and the tab 7 is capable of being pivoted on the line of weakness 6, as shown in FIG. 3 showing the box when it is opened or closed, against a certain elastic resistance. When the tab has thus been brought into a position in which it is tilted at an angle on the adjoining rim section, the tab 9 can pass freely through the notch 5.
If, after closing the box, the tab 7 is released, the latter tends to return to its initial position, thanks to the elasticity of the material which connects it with the adjoining section of the rim of part 2; but, as the tab cannot completely return to its initial position when the box is in the closed state, the residual elastic resistance has the effect of pressing the tab 9 on the rim of the box part 1 in view of maintaining the box in the closed state, as seen in FIG. 2.
One could imagine a variant in which the line of weakness 6 would be located at the same distance, or even at a greater distance from the hinge 3 than the outer edge of the adjacent rim parts.
In this case, it would not be necessary to provide a notch 5 and the tab would come to rest on the outer edge, rectilinear or curvilinear, of the box part 1.
