La présente invention a pour objet un emballage comprenant un couvercle formé d'un volet rabattable présentant au moins une patte de fermeture destinée à être enfilée dans une fente de l'emballage.
L'emballage selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que ladite patte est située sur le bord libre d'une partie marginale dudit couvercle qui se superpose à une face latérale de l'emballage en position fermée de ce dernier, cette partie présentant une longueur égale à la hauteur de ladite face et ladite fente étant située sur le bord de cette face latérale, voisin du fond de l'emballage, de manière que la patte, une fois enfilée dans cette fente, soit contiguë à ce fond et dans un plan sensiblement parallèle à ce dernier.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'emballage objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une élévation en coupe et quelque peu schématique de l'emballage.
La fig. 2 en est une vue en plan, avec coupe partielle du couvercle, selon la ligne 2-2 de la fig. 1.
La fig. 3 est une vue analogue à la fig. I montrant l'emballage en voie de fermeture.
La fig. 4 est une vue selon la ligne 4-4 de la fig. 3.
La fig. 5 est un développement de l'emballage, à plus petite échelle.
L'emballage représenté a la forme d'un parallélépipède droit à base rectangulaire. Il est obtenu par pliage de la feuille développée représentée à la fig. 5 et comprend un fond 1 et des parois latérales formées par deux volets latéraux 2, par des languettes 3 de ses volets qui s'assemblent l'une à l'autre par un emboîtement, et par un volet antérieur 4. Ce volet antérieur 4 présente trois panneaux 5, 6 et 7 séparés par des plis (fig. 5). Dans l'emballage monté, le panneau 6 constitue un retour intérieur doublant le panneau 5 et le panneau 7 vient se superposer au fond 1. Les volets latéraux 2 présentent également des languettes 8 qui sont pincées entre les panneaux 5 et 6 comme représenté à la fig. 3.
L'emballage comprend, en outre, un couvercle qui est constitue par un volet 9 comprenant trois panneaux 10, 11 et 12. Le panneau 12 qui constitue une partie marginale du couvercle qui se superpose au panneau antérieur 5 de l'emballage, présente la même forme rectangulaire que ce panneau et porte sur son bord libre deux pattes de fermeture 13 destinées à être enfilées dans deux fentes 14 découpées à la base du panneau 5.
Ces pattes présentent une partie 15 de plus grande largeur que les fentes 14 (fig. 4), et des angles coupés tels qu'elles puissent passer librement dans lesdites fentes lorsqu'elles sont enfilées de biais dans ces dernières, mais qu'elles soient retenues dans l'emballage lorsqu'on tente de les retirer par un mouvement perpendiculaire au côté voisin du fond.
Pour fermer l'emballage une fois le couvercle rabattu, il suffit d'appuyer sur le panneau 12, comme représenté par la flèche A à la fig. 3, pour amener les pattes 13, dirigées par la surface d'appui 16 sur laquelle repose l'emballage, dans les fentes 14. Si la pression est exercée au centre du panneau 12, ou au contraire sur ses extrémités, ce panneau s'incurvera légèrement dans un sens ou dans l'autre dans le plan horizontal et les pattes 13 prenant une position légèrement en biais pénétreront facilement dans les fentes 14. Il en résulte une fermeture facile et rapide de l'emballage.
Dans l'emballage fermé (fig. 1 et 2), ces pattes seront pincées entre le fond 1 de l'emballage et le panneau 7 de sorte que l'ouverture du couvercle ne pourra être pratiquement obtenue qu'à la suite d'un retrait des pattes dans une direction parallèle audit fond, et non pas d'une traction exercée sur le panneau 12 perpendiculairement au fond, telle qu'elle résulterait de la pression exercée par le contenu de l'emballage sur le couvercle.
L'emballage représenté peut être stocké à plat et monté au moment de l'emploi, sans agrafe ou autre moyen d'assemblage. I1 est très facile de le fermer et sa fermeture présente un degré de solidité tel qu'il n'est pas nécessaire, même pour des envois postaux, de prévoir d'autres moyens qui le tiennent fermé.
L'emballage peut, bien entendu, être réalisé dans d'autres formes que celle représentée et le nombre des pattes de fermeture dépendra de la résistance à l'ouverture que l'on désire obtenir.
Bien qu'exécuté généralement en carton, cet emballage pourrait être exécuté en d'autres matériaux en feuille, celluloïd ou autres matières plastiques notamment.
Embalming
The present invention relates to a package comprising a cover formed by a hinged flap having at least one closure tab intended to be slipped into a slot in the package.
The packaging according to the invention is characterized in that said tab is located on the free edge of a marginal part of said cover which is superimposed on a lateral face of the packaging in the closed position of the latter, this part having a length equal to the height of said face and said slot being located on the edge of this lateral face, close to the bottom of the packaging, so that the tab, once threaded in this slot, is contiguous to this bottom and in a plane substantially parallel to the latter.
The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the packaging object of the invention.

The packaging shown has the shape of a straight parallelepiped with a rectangular base. It is obtained by folding the developed sheet shown in FIG. 5 and comprises a bottom 1 and side walls formed by two side flaps 2, by tabs 3 of its flaps which are assembled to each other by a fitting, and by a front flap 4. This front flap 4 presents three panels 5, 6 and 7 separated by folds (fig. 5). In the assembled packaging, the panel 6 constitutes an internal return lining the panel 5 and the panel 7 is superimposed on the bottom 1. The side flaps 2 also have tabs 8 which are clamped between the panels 5 and 6 as shown in fig. 3.
The packaging further comprises a cover which is constituted by a flap 9 comprising three panels 10, 11 and 12. The panel 12 which constitutes a marginal part of the cover which is superimposed on the front panel 5 of the packaging, presents the same rectangular shape as this panel and carries on its free edge two closure tabs 13 intended to be slipped into two slots 14 cut at the base of the panel 5.
These tabs have a portion 15 of greater width than the slots 14 (FIG. 4), and cut angles such that they can pass freely in said slots when they are threaded at an angle in the latter, but that they are retained in the packaging when attempting to remove them by a movement perpendicular to the side adjacent to the bottom.
To close the packaging once the cover has been closed, it suffices to press on the panel 12, as shown by the arrow A in fig. 3, to bring the tabs 13, directed by the bearing surface 16 on which the packaging rests, into the slots 14. If the pressure is exerted at the center of the panel 12, or on the contrary on its ends, this panel s' will curve slightly in one direction or the other in the horizontal plane and the tabs 13 taking a position slightly at an angle will easily penetrate into the slots 14. This results in an easy and rapid closure of the package.
In the closed packaging (fig. 1 and 2), these tabs will be pinched between the bottom 1 of the packaging and the panel 7 so that the opening of the lid can only be practically obtained following a withdrawal of the tabs in a direction parallel to said bottom, and not from a traction exerted on the panel 12 perpendicular to the bottom, such as would result from the pressure exerted by the contents of the package on the cover.
The packaging shown can be stored flat and mounted at the time of use, without staples or other assembly means. I1 is very easy to close and its closure presents a degree of solidity such that it is not necessary, even for postal items, to provide other means which keep it closed.
The packaging can, of course, be produced in shapes other than that shown and the number of closure tabs will depend on the resistance to opening which is desired.
Although generally executed in cardboard, this packaging could be executed in other sheet materials, celluloid or other plastics in particular.
