Emballage en carton ou matériau similaire avec bande de déchirement
La présente invention a trait à un emballage en carton ou matériau similaire, avec bande de déchire- ment formée sur un volet supérieur d'un couvercle par deux lignes d'incisions. Cetemballagepourrait être constitué par pliage de feuilles de matière formant simultanément le corps du récipient et les pattes destinées à constituer par collage, agrafage ou autre fixation, le fond et le couvercle.
Il a déjà été proposé de fabriquer de tels emballages avec un couvercle qui n'est utilisable qu'après arrachement d'îune bande de déchirement; toutefois, le couvercle ainsi libéré ne permet plus de fermer convenablement l'emballage au cours de son utilisation et souvent la déchirure de la bande de déchire- ment détériore le couvercle qui est hors d'usage.
Pour permettre de refermer le couvercle après usage et conserver le contenu de l'emballage, on prévoit dans les rabats du couvercle des onglets et des fentes, mais ceux-ci constituent une sujétion pour l'utilisation qui le plus souvent ne les utilise pas et l'emballage reste ouvert.
La présente invention a pour but de permettre, après déchirure de la bande Ide Idéchire, ment de fermer convenablement l'emballage après chaque utilisation.
A cet effet, l'emballage objet de l'invention est caractérisé en ce que la ligne d'incisions de ce volet du côté de son articulation sur l'emballage, présente au moins un décrochement vers Fantre ligne d'incisions de manière à former au moins une patte pro longeant la partie du volet supérieur subsistant t après l'arrachage de la bande et en ce qu'un volet sous jacent coopérant avec ledit volet supérieur pour r for- mer le. couvercle présente au moins une encoche sous laquelle peut être engagée la patte correspondante pour refermer l'emballage.
Le dessin annexé représente à titre d'exemple une forme de réalisation d'un emballage suivant l'invention.

L'emballage pris à titre d'exemple est un emballage 1 de section rectangulaire dont les petits côtés 13 sont prolongés par des volets ou soufflets 2 rabattables formant le couvercle let le fond avec les volets 3 et 4 prolongeant les grands côtes 14.
Le volet supérieur 3 est collé sur le volet sousjacent 4 quand l'emballage est plein et il présente une bande de garantie longitudinale, délimitée par deux rangées parallèles 6 et 7 d'incisions formant deux lignes de déchirures.
Comme le montre, à plus grande échelle la fig. 5, chacune de ces lignes de déchirure est formée, vue dans le sens F de la déchirure, par une succession d'incisions 8 qui s'écartent l'une de l'autre par paire en formant un angle Mgu a par rapport à une ligne médiane pour s'incurver l'une vers Vautre près de l'amorce de la paire suivante d'incisions. Ces incisions sont séparées les unes des autres pour ne pas affaiblir la résistance du volet 3.
On obtient de la sorte le résultat qu'en exerçant une traction sur l'extrémité 9 de la bande 5 et dans le sens de la flèche F on découpe la matière, par exemple le carton, élément par élément, ce qui assure une déchirure de la matière entre les deux lignes de déchirure de façon correcte, l'effort de traction portant successivement sur chacun des éléments et non pas sur toute l'étendue de la bande.
Les incisions 6 de la rangée côté bord libre de la patte 3 sont rectilignes Idans l'exemple représenté, mais pourraient être courbes ou en dents de scie.
Par contre, les incisions 7 de la rangée côté charnière 11 de la patte 3 sont rapprochées, dans la région médiane par exemple, de la rangée des incisions 6 pour former une patte 10 après arrachement de la bande de garantie.
Une fois cette bande 5 enlevée, les deux volets 3 et 4 servent à refermer le couvercle par exemple de la façon dite à coup de poing , c'est-à-dire que la patte 10 du volet 3 pénètre élastiquement au-dessous du u volet 4, comme le montre la fig. 4. Pour ce faire, le volet 4 présente une encoche ou échancrure 12 conformée en correspondance à la forme de la patte 10 pour permettre l'introduction de cette dernière sous le volet 14 pour maintenir fermé le couvercle.
La ligne d'incisions 6 ur le volet inférieur 4 peut être linéaire, courbe ou en dents de scie et la ligne d'incisions sur le volet supérieur 3 peut également être linéaire, courbe ou en dents de scie; le nombre et la forme des décrochements 7 de cette ligne par rapport à l'autre détermine la forme, le nombre et les dimensions des pattes 10, tandis que les encoches ou échancrures 12 du volet 4 sont prévues en conformité de ces pattes pour, permettre leur engagement sur simple pression sous le volet 4.
La fixation des volets du couvercle et du fond de l'emballage peut être faite par collage, agrafage ou autre moyen usuel, la partie 15 du volet supérieur 3 restant en place sans inconvénient sur le volet inférieur 4 après l'arrachement de la bande de garantie.

The present invention relates to a packaging of cardboard or similar material, with a tear strip formed on an upper flap of a cover by two lines of incisions. It has already been proposed to manufacture such packages with a cover which can only be used after tearing off a tear strip; however, the lid thus released no longer allows the packaging to be properly closed during its use and often the tear of the tear strip deteriorates the lid which is inoperable.
To allow the lid to be closed after use and to conserve the contents of the packaging, tabs and slots are provided in the lid flaps, but these constitute a restriction for the use which most often does not use them and the packaging remains open.
The object of the present invention is to allow, after tearing of the Ide Idéchire strip, to properly close the packaging after each use.
To this end, the packaging object of the invention is characterized in that the line of incisions of this flap on the side of its articulation on the packaging, has at least one recess towards the front line of incisions so as to form at least one protruding tab along the part of the upper flap remaining t after the strip has been torn off and in that an underlying flap cooperating with said upper flap to form the. cover has at least one notch under which the corresponding tab can be engaged to close the packaging.

The packaging taken as an example is a packaging 1 of rectangular section, the small sides 13 of which are extended by flaps or foldable gussets 2 forming the cover and the bottom with the flaps 3 and 4 extending the large ribs 14.
The upper flap 3 is glued to the underlying flap 4 when the packaging is full and it has a longitudinal guarantee strip, delimited by two parallel rows 6 and 7 of incisions forming two lines of tears.
As shown, on a larger scale, FIG. 5, each of these tear lines is formed, seen in the direction F of the tear, by a succession of incisions 8 which move away from each other in pairs, forming an angle Mgu a with respect to a midline to curve toward each other near the start of the next pair of incisions. These incisions are separated from each other so as not to weaken the resistance of flap 3.
In this way the result is obtained that by exerting a traction on the end 9 of the strip 5 and in the direction of the arrow F, the material, for example cardboard, is cut, element by element, which ensures a tear of the material between the two tear lines correctly, the tensile force being successively on each of the elements and not over the entire extent of the strip.
The incisions 6 of the row on the free edge side of the tab 3 are rectilinear in the example shown, but could be curved or sawtooth.
On the other hand, the incisions 7 of the row on the hinge side 11 of the tab 3 are brought closer, in the middle region for example, to the row of the incisions 6 to form a tab 10 after tearing of the guarantee strip.
Once this strip 5 has been removed, the two flaps 3 and 4 serve to close the cover, for example in the so-called punched manner, that is to say that the tab 10 of the flap 3 elastically penetrates below the u shutter 4, as shown in fig. 4. To do this, the flap 4 has a notch or indentation 12 conformed to the shape of the tab 10 to allow the introduction of the latter under the flap 14 to keep the cover closed.
The line of incisions 6 on the lower flap 4 can be linear, curved or sawtooth and the line of incisions on the upper flap 3 can also be linear, curved or sawtooth; the number and shape of the recesses 7 of this line relative to the other determines the shape, number and dimensions of the tabs 10, while the notches or indentations 12 of the flap 4 are provided in accordance with these tabs to allow their engagement at the touch of a button under section 4.
The fixing of the cover flaps and the bottom of the packaging can be done by gluing, stapling or other usual means, the part 15 of the upper flap 3 remaining in place without inconvenience on the lower flap 4 after the tearing of the strip of guarantee.
