Etui de poche pour montre ou outres objets. La présente invention a pour objet un étui de poche destiné à contenir et à proté ger une montre ou autre objet analogue et pouvant même éventuellement servir d'étui à cigarettes, allumettes, etc.
Cet étui affecte la forme d'une boîte dont la particularité consiste en ce que la ferme ture en .est assurée par au moins un volet constitué par la grande branche d'un levier coudé à deux branches pivotant sur un des bords du dessus du corps de l'étui, la petite branche du levier constituant un bord laté ral mobile de l'étui de telle manière qu'en l'enfonçant, on provoque le basculement du- dit volet et, par suite, l'ouverture de l'étui. Le volet peut être rappelé en position de fer meture par un ressort quelconque.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 montre l'étui fermé en coupe longitudinale; La fig. 2 en est un plan; La fig. 3 est une vue analogue, l'étui ou vert; La fig. 4 en est une coupe transversale; La fig. 5 est une variante montrant un étui à deux volets.
On voit sur le dessin que l'étui ou boîte a, de forme aplatie, présente une ouverture ou logement b qui s'étend sur presque toute la longueur de sa face supérieure et se pro longe en b' sur la tranche de l'étui, c'est ce logement qui est destiné à recevoir la montre ou les cigarettes, -etc.
L'ouverture b est obturée par un volet c qui est formé par la grande branche d'un le vier pivotant en d sur les bords supérieurs du corps de l'étui a. La petite branche c' du levier est repliée de manière à former un bourrelet qui forme le bord latéral ou tran che de l'étui comme on le voit en coupe sur la fig. 1.
Pour ouvrir l'étui, il suffit d'appuyer lé gèrement sur le bourrelet ë pour l'enfoncer dans le corps de boîte, ce qui fait pivoter le volet c et ouvre l'étui.
Un ressort à lame c peut être fixé dans le fond du corps de boîte, de manière que son extrémité vienne s'appuyer contre la partie repliée c2 qui ferme le bourrelet de la petite branche .du levier. Ce ressort maintient par son élasticité le levier ou volet c dans la posi tion de fermeture (fig. 1) et le rappelle dans cette position dès que la pression extérieure cesse sur le 'bourrelet quand on l'a ouvert. On peut prévoir une disposition de ressort telle qu'il maintienne également le volet dans sa position d'ouverture en grand (fig. 3); il suffira pour cela que le bourrelet présente deux parties plates ou de moindre courbure à 90 l'une de l'autre.
Lorsque l'étui a doit renfermer une mon tre f, comme il est représenté en traits mixtes fig. 1 et 3, cette dernière peut être montée à charnière par une extrémité, en g, sur le fond de l'étui. La montre est alors maintenue à son autre extrémité, par un petit doigt h. qui s'engage dans un trou i' prévu dans une lame de ressort i.
Un ressort à boudin j fixé, d'une part, au fond de l'étui et, d'autre part, au bord supé rieur du côté de la montre, montée à char nière, relève ladite montre dans la position f de la fig. 3 lorsqu'on libère le doigt h, en écartant la lame de ressorti. Dans cette po sition la montre s'appuie, par sa face supé rieure, contre le chanfrein a' pratiqué sur le bord de l'ouverture b de l'étui et la partie inférieure du bourrelet c' vient se loger dans la courbure du ressort i., laquelle maintient le levier ou volet c dans la position d'ouver ture,
de sorte que l'ensemble fait office<B>dé</B> pendulette et peut être posé à plat sur un bureau ou une table de chevet.
Il va de soi que des modifications de dé tail pourront être apportées dans la réalisa tion de l'étui qui fait l'objet de la présente invention, sans pour cela sortir du cadre de cette dernière.
En particulier, l'étui pourrait compor ter deux volets pivotants comme montré fig. 5 ou un plus grand nombre de volets.

It can be seen from the drawing that the case or box a, of flattened shape, has an opening or housing b which extends over almost the entire length of its upper face and extends at b 'on the edge of the case , it is this housing which is intended to receive the watch or the cigarettes, -etc.
The opening b is closed by a flap c which is formed by the large branch of a pivoting lever at d on the upper edges of the body of the case a. The small branch c 'of the lever is folded back so as to form a bead which forms the lateral or sliced edge of the case as seen in section in FIG. 1.
To open the case, all you have to do is press the bead ë gently to push it into the box body, which rotates the flap c and opens the case.
A leaf spring c can be fixed in the bottom of the box body, so that its end comes to rest against the folded part c2 which closes the bead of the small arm .du lever. This spring maintains by its elasticity the lever or flap c in the closed position (fig. 1) and returns it to this position as soon as the external pressure ceases on the bead when it has been opened. A spring arrangement can be provided such that it also maintains the shutter in its fully open position (FIG. 3); it will suffice for this that the bead has two flat parts or of lesser curvature at 90 from each other.
When the case a must contain a mon tre f, as shown in phantom in fig. 1 and 3, the latter can be hinged at one end, at g, on the bottom of the case. The watch is then held at its other end by a little finger h. which engages in a hole i 'provided in a leaf spring i.
A coil spring j fixed, on the one hand, to the bottom of the case and, on the other hand, to the upper edge of the watch side, mounted on a hinge, raises said watch in position f of FIG. . 3 when the finger h is released, removing the spring blade. In this position, the watch rests, by its upper face, against the chamfer a 'made on the edge of the opening b of the case and the lower part of the bead c' is housed in the curvature of the spring i., which keeps the lever or shutter c in the open position,
so that the set acts as a <B> dice </B> clock and can be placed flat on a desk or bedside table.
It goes without saying that modifications of detail could be made in the production of the case which is the subject of the present invention, without departing from the scope of the latter.
In particular, the case could comprise two pivoting flaps as shown in fig. 5 or more shutters.
