Canapé-lit transformable La présente invention a pour objet un ca napé-lit transformable d'une construction ro buste et assurant un excellent confort tant dans la position canapé que dans la position lit.
Le canapé-lit transformable selon l'inven tion, dont le siège et le dossier du canapé sont articulés l'un sur l'autre suivant un axe hori zontal de façon<B>à</B> s'ouvrir<B>à</B> la manière d'un li vre et venir en prolongement pour former le lit, est caractérisé en ce que le dossier est sou tenu sur le sol par l'intermédiaire d'un levier relié au siège par un embiellage tel que ledit levier soit sensiblement vertical dans la posi tion canapé et s'escamote sous l'ensemble dossier-siùge dans la position lit. Cet agence ment a pour résultat d'assurer une assise effi cace du canapé-lit dans les deux positions de celui-ci, avec un encombrement réduit.
Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention est représentée,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, au dessin annexé, dans lequel: La fig. <B>1</B> est une vue en élévation latérale de cette forme dexécution de canapé-lit, occu pant la position canapé<B>;</B> La fig. 2 est une vue analogue<B>à</B> la fig. <B>1</B> mais montre le canapé-lit dans la position lit<B>;</B> La fig. <B>3</B> est une vue en perspective du canapé-lit lorsque celui-ci occupe une position intermédiaire<B>;</B> La fig. 4 est une vue éclatée d'un montage formant tête de lit amovible.
Dans la forme d7exécution représentée, le canapé-lit comporte deux côtés symétriques entretoisés. Chaque côté (fig. <B>1</B> et 2) se com pose<B>de</B> deux barres<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> ayant sensible ment la même longueur et articulées Pune sur l'autre en bout en 12. Les barres<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> peu vent être formées par des cornières ou autres. La barre<B>10</B> est agencée pour rester sensible ment horizontale tandis que la barre<B>11</B> est for tement inclinée dans la position canapé (fig. <B>1)</B> du canapé-lit et est horizontale dans la posi tion lit (fig. 2).
Deux leviers<B>13</B> et 14 sont pivotés en<B>15</B> et <B>16</B> respectivement sur la barre<B>10,</B> l'articulation <B>15</B> étant disposée<B>à</B> l'extrémité de la barre<B>10</B> tandis que l'articulation<B>16</B> est située sensible ment<B>à</B> mi-chemin entre les articulations 12 et <B>15.</B> Les leviers<B>13</B> et 14, généralement orientés vers l'arrière et vers le bas, sont articulés en<B>17</B> et<B>18</B> sur une barre inférieure<B>19</B> sensiblement parallèle<B>à</B> la barre<B>10,</B> l'ensemble 15-16-18-17 formant un quadrilatère déformable de con formation analogue<B>à</B> celle d'un parallélogram me.
Au voisinage de l'articulation<B>17,</B> la barre <B>19</B> est munie d7une roulette 20 reposant tou jours sur le sol, quelle que soit la position du canapé-lit. La barre<B>19</B> est de préférence for mée par une cornière. Un levier 2<B>1,</B> articulé sur le levier 14 en 22 au voisinage de l'articulation<B>18,</B> s'étend<B>gé-</B> néralement vers l'arrière et vers le haut, et est articulé<B>à</B> son autre extrémité en<B>23</B> sur un le vier 24. Celui-ci, articulé sur la barre<B>10</B> en<B>25</B> au voisinage de l'articulation 12, s'étend géné ralement vers Parrière et vers le bas et est ar ticulé sur un levier<B>27</B> en<B>26</B> c'est-à-dire au voisinage de l'extrémité inférieure<B>28</B> de ce le vier.
Cette extrémité<B>28</B> est munie d7une rou lette<B>29</B> reposant toujours sur le sol, quelle que soit la position du canapé-lit. Le levier<B>27</B> est sensiblement vertical dans la position canapé (fig. <B>1)</B> et s'étend vers le bas et vers l'avant sous la barre<B>11</B> dans la position lit (fig. 2).
Un levier<B>30</B> est articulé sur le levier<B>27</B> en <B>28</B> et est articulé, sur la barre<B>11</B> en<B>31</B> au voisinage de l'articulation 12.
<B>A</B> son extrémité opposée<B>à</B> l'extrémité<B>28,</B> le levier<B>27</B> est articulé en<B>32</B> sur une béquille<B>33.</B> Celle-ci est articulée en 34 sur la barre<B>11,</B> c'est-à-dire<B>à</B> l'extrémité de cette barre et au voisinage de l'articulation<B>32.</B> La béquille<B>33</B> porte<B>à</B> son autre extrémité une roulette<B>35</B> des tinée<B>à</B> reposer sur le sol dans la position lit et <B>à</B> être espacée au-dessus du sol dans la position canapé. En toute position, la béquille<B>33</B> reste sensiblement verticale.
Au voisinage de l'articulation 12, la barre <B>11</B> porte une saillie<B>3 8</B> espacée du levier 24 dans la position lit (fig. 2) et les positions intermé diaires (fig. 3j mais destinée<B>à</B> venir buter con tre ce levier 24 dans la position canapé (fig. <B>1)</B> pour définir cette position et<B>y</B> assurer une as sise complète du canapé-lit.
Une biellette<B>36</B> est pivotée en<B>31</B> sur la bar re<B>11</B> et porte en bout une encoche<B>37</B> destinée <B>à</B> s'engager sur l'axe<B>25</B> dans la position canapé (fig. <B>1)</B> pour assurer un verrouillage de sécurité dans cette position.
Les deux côtés du canapé-lit ainsi consti tué sont réunis par une entretoise<B>39</B> placée<B>à</B> l'avant du siège (fig. <B>3)</B> reliant les deux barres<B>10</B> suivant les extrémités<B>15</B> de celles-ci et par une entretoise 40 reliant les extrémités 34 des deux barres<B>11.</B> En outre, une entretoise 41 relie les deux leviers<B>27</B> au voisinage des articulations <B>26.</B> De préférence, les entretoises<B>39,</B> 40, 41 sont comme les barres<B>10</B> et<B>11,</B> constituées par des cornières.
Le sommier est constitué par un réseau en trelacé<B>à</B> angle droit de lames souples en acier ou autre matière appropriée attelées aux barres <B>10, 11</B> et aux entretoises<B>39,</B> 40 par l'intermé diaire de ressorts. On voit<B>à</B> la fig. <B>3</B> en 42 les lames parallèles aux entretoises<B>39,</B> 40 et at telées par des ressorts 43 aux barres<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> et en 44 les lames perpendiculaires aux lames 42. Les lames 44 sont entrelacées avec les lames 42 et attelées par des ressorts 45 aux entretoises<B>39</B> et 40. On appréciera qu'un tel sommier est exempt, sauf<B>à</B> sa périphérie, de pièces rigides, ce qui assure un excellent confort.
En son milieu, le sommier est soutenu par deux rangées de ressorts<B>à</B> boudin 46 et 47, ces rangées étant parallèles aux entretoises<B>39</B> et 40. La rangée de ressorts 46 est disposée légère ment<B>à</B> l'avant des articulations 12 tandis que l'autre rangée 47 est disposée légèrement<B>à</B> l'ar rière de ces articulations.
Les ressorts 46 sont fixés sous les points de croisement d'une lame 42 avec les laines 44 et reposent sur une barre horizontale 48 parallèle aux entretoises<B>39</B> et 40. La barre 48, espacée du sommier, a une forme de berceau et est fixée aux barres<B>10. 11</B> en est de même de l'autre rangée de ressorts 47 reposant sur un berceau 49 fixé aux barres<B>11.</B>
Des lames<B>50,</B> analogues aux lames 44, sont alternées avec celles-ci dans une direction pa rallèle et sont entrelacées avec la partie anté rieure des lames 42. Les lames<B>50</B> sont fixées en<B>51 à</B> l'entretoise<B>39,</B> s'étendent entre les res sorts 46 et sont attelées par ressorts<B>52 à</B> l'en tretoise 41.
Sur les deux cornières<B>19</B> formant glissières est monté coulissant un tiroir<B>53</B> s'engageant sous l'entretoise<B>39</B> et le sommier 42-44-50. Ce tiroir est plus particulièrement prévu pour rece voir les housses, accessoires de literie, oreillers et autres.
Une tête de lit amovible 54 (fig. 4) est pré vue pour être disposée le long des barres<B>10</B> et<B>11 à</B> l'une ou l'autre extrémité du lit. Cette tête de lit 54 consiste en une plaque plane de même longueur sensiblement que la somme des longueurs des barres<B>10</B> et<B>11.</B> La hauteur de la plaque est choisie supérieure<B>à</B> l'épais seur du matelas<B>55</B> de sorte que la plaque puis se former une butée pour les oreillers (non re présentés).
La plaque 54 comporte suivant la partie centrale de son bord inférieur une échancrure <B>56</B> agencée pour venir entourer les axes<B>31,</B> 12 et<B>25.</B>
Un axe<B>57</B> est en outre fixé sensiblement au centre de la plaque 54 et est destiné<B>à</B> rece voir l'encoche<B>37</B> de la biellette<B>36.</B>
Dans la position lit, on insère la plaque 54 entre le matelas<B>55</B> et les cornières<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> et on accroche la biellette<B>36</B> sur l'axe<B>57,</B> ladite biellette s'étendant du<B>-</B>côté de la plaque 54 opposé au matelas, de sorte que la plaque est solidement maintenue dans les deux sens. L'axe <B>57</B> est disposé en sorte qu'une telle opération s'effectue indifféremment<B>à</B> l'une ou l'autre extrémité du lit.
Lorsqu'on désire passer<B>à</B> la position ca napé, il suffit de décrocher la biellette<B>36</B> et d'ôter la plaque 54. Celle-ci peut par exemple être rangée dans le tiroir<B>53.</B>
Dans la position canapé, la butée<B>38</B> est telle que les barres<B>10</B> soient légèrement incli nées vers le bas et vers l'arrière de sorte que la partie antérieure du sommier formant siège est descendante vers l'arrière, ce qui assure un excellent confort. Ce sont les lames tendues<B>50</B> et les lames 42 qui constituent le support élas tique du siège proprement dit, tandis que les la mes 44 et 42 constituent le support élastique du dossier.
De préférence, des accoudoirs amovibles <B>60</B> (fig. <B>1)</B> sont prévus de façon<B>à</B> être installés dans la position canapé et ôtés et rangés dans le tiroir<B>53,</B> dans la position lit. Chaque accou doir<B>60</B> comporte une extrémité en forme de fourche<B>61</B> s'engageant autour d'une broche<B>62</B> du levier<B>27.</B> Une broche<B>63</B> est en outre fixée sur l'accoudoir et est destinée<B>à</B> s'engager dans une boutonnière 64 de la barre<B>11.</B>
Pour placer le canapé-lit dans la position lit, en décroche les biellettes<B>36</B> et on pousse l'entretoise 40 vers l'arrière. Ce mouvement a pour effet de faire basculer les leviers<B>27</B> vers l'avant, et, lorsque les barres<B>11</B> occupent une position horizontale dans le prolongement des barres<B>10,</B> les roulettes<B>35</B> des béquilles repo sent sur le sol ainsi que les roulettes<B>29</B> et 20 ce qui assure une assise complète pour le lit.
Dans cette position, les lames<B>50</B> sont<B>dé-</B> tendues et escamotées vers le bas, le sommier étant formé par les lames 42 et 44 et par les ressorts 46 et 47. Pour placer le canapé-lit dans la position canapé, il suffit de soulever l'entretoise 40.
Convertible sofa bed The present invention relates to a convertible sofa bed with a solid construction and providing excellent comfort both in the sofa position and in the bed position.
The convertible sofa bed according to the invention, the seat of which and the back of the sofa are articulated on each other along a horizontal axis so as to <B> to </B> open <B> to </B> the manner of a book and come in extension to form the bed, is characterized in that the backrest is supported on the ground by means of a lever connected to the seat by a linkage such as said lever is substantially vertical in the sofa position and retracts under the backrest-seat assembly in the bed position. The result of this arrangement is to ensure an effective seat of the sofa bed in the two positions thereof, with reduced bulk.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown, <B> to </B> by way of example, in the accompanying drawing, in which: FIG. <B> 1 </B> is a side elevational view of this form of sofa bed execution, occupying the sofa position <B>; </B> Fig. 2 is a view similar to <B> to </B> FIG. <B> 1 </B> but shows the sofa bed in the bed position <B>; </B> Fig. <B> 3 </B> is a perspective view of the sofa bed when it occupies an intermediate position <B>; </B> FIG. 4 is an exploded view of an assembly forming a removable headboard.
In the embodiment shown, the sofa bed has two symmetrical braced sides. Each side (fig. <B> 1 </B> and 2) consists of <B> </B> two bars <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 </B> having appreciably the same length and articulated Pune on the other at the end in 12. The bars <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 </B> can be formed by angles or others. The bar <B> 10 </B> is arranged to remain substantially horizontal while the bar <B> 11 </B> is strongly inclined in the sofa position (fig. <B> 1) </B> of the sofa bed and is horizontal in the bed posi tion (fig. 2).
Two levers <B> 13 </B> and 14 are rotated in <B> 15 </B> and <B> 16 </B> respectively on the bar <B> 10, </B> the articulation <B > 15 </B> being disposed <B> at </B> the end of the bar <B> 10 </B> while the articulation <B> 16 </B> is located significantly <B> at </B> midway between joints 12 and <B> 15. </B> The levers <B> 13 </B> and 14, generally oriented rearward and downward, are articulated in < B> 17 </B> and <B> 18 </B> on a lower bar <B> 19 </B> substantially parallel <B> to </B> bar <B> 10, </B> l 'set 15-16-18-17 forming a deformable quadrilateral of similar con formation <B> to </B> that of a parallelogram.
In the vicinity of the articulation <B> 17, </B> the bar <B> 19 </B> is provided with a wheel 20 always resting on the floor, whatever the position of the sofa bed. The bar <B> 19 </B> is preferably formed by an angle iron. A lever 2 <B> 1, </B> articulated on the lever 14 at 22 in the vicinity of the articulation <B> 18, </B> extends <B> generally- </B> towards the rear and upwards, and is articulated <B> at </B> its other end at <B> 23 </B> on a 24-lever. This one, articulated on the bar <B> 10 </ B > at <B> 25 </B> in the vicinity of articulation 12, extends generally towards the rear and downwards and is hinged on a lever <B> 27 </B> at <B> 26 < / B> that is to say in the vicinity of the lower end <B> 28 </B> of this vier.
This <B> 28 </B> end is fitted with a <B> 29 </B> wheel which always rests on the floor, whatever the position of the sofa bed. The lever <B> 27 </B> is substantially vertical in the sofa position (fig. <B> 1) </B> and extends downwards and forwards under the bar <B> 11 </ B> in the bed position (fig. 2).
A lever <B> 30 </B> is articulated on the lever <B> 27 </B> in <B> 28 </B> and is articulated on the bar <B> 11 </B> in <B > 31 </B> in the vicinity of articulation 12.
<B> A </B> its end opposite <B> to </B> the end <B> 28, </B> the lever <B> 27 </B> is articulated at <B> 32 </ B> on a crutch <B> 33. </B> This is articulated at 34 on the bar <B> 11, </B> that is to say <B> to </B> the end of this bar and in the vicinity of the articulation <B> 32. </B> The crutch <B> 33 </B> carries <B> at </B> its other end a wheel <B> 35 </ B> of the tines <B> to </B> rest on the floor in the bed position and <B> to </B> be spaced above the floor in the sofa position. In any position, the <B> 33 </B> stand remains substantially vertical.
In the vicinity of the articulation 12, the bar <B> 11 </B> carries a projection <B> 3 8 </B> spaced from the lever 24 in the bed position (fig. 2) and the intermediate positions (fig. . 3j but intended <B> to </B> come up against this lever 24 in the sofa position (fig. <B> 1) </B> to define this position and <B> y </B> ensure a seated complete with the sofa bed.
A rod <B> 36 </B> is pivoted in <B> 31 </B> on the bar re <B> 11 </B> and carries at the end a notch <B> 37 </B> intended for <B > to </B> engage on the axis <B> 25 </B> in the sofa position (fig. <B> 1) </B> to ensure a safety locking in this position.
The two sides of the sofa bed thus constituted are joined by a spacer <B> 39 </B> placed <B> at </B> the front of the seat (fig. <B> 3) </B> connecting the two bars <B> 10 </B> following the ends <B> 15 </B> thereof and by a spacer 40 connecting the ends 34 of the two bars <B> 11. </B> In addition, a spacer 41 connects the two levers <B> 27 </B> in the vicinity of the articulations <B> 26. </B> Preferably, the spacers <B> 39, </B> 40, 41 are like the bars < B> 10 </B> and <B> 11, </B> formed by angles.
The bed base is formed by a network in a tracery <B> at </B> right angles of flexible steel blades or other suitable material coupled to the bars <B> 10, 11 </B> and to the spacers <B> 39, < / B> 40 through the intermediary of springs. We see <B> in </B> in fig. <B> 3 </B> at 42 the blades parallel to the spacers <B> 39, </B> 40 and at teled by springs 43 to the bars <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 </ B > and at 44 the slats perpendicular to the slats 42. The slats 44 are interlaced with the slats 42 and coupled by springs 45 to the spacers <B> 39 </B> and 40. It will be appreciated that such a box spring is exempt, except <B> to </B> its periphery, rigid parts, which ensures excellent comfort.
In its middle, the bed base is supported by two rows of <B> to </B> coil springs 46 and 47, these rows being parallel to the spacers <B> 39 </B> and 40. The row of springs 46 is arranged slightly <B> to </B> the front of the joints 12 while the other row 47 is arranged slightly <B> to </B> the rear of these joints.
The springs 46 are fixed under the crossing points of a blade 42 with the wools 44 and rest on a horizontal bar 48 parallel to the spacers <B> 39 </B> and 40. The bar 48, spaced from the bed base, has a cradle shape and is attached to the bars <B> 10. 11 </B> is the same for the other row of springs 47 resting on a cradle 49 fixed to the bars <B> 11. </B>
Blades <B> 50, </B> similar to blades 44, are alternated therewith in a parallel direction and are interwoven with the front part of the blades 42. The blades <B> 50 </B> are fixed at <B> 51 to </B> the spacer <B> 39, </B> extend between the springs 46 and are coupled by springs <B> 52 to </B> the spacer 41 .
On the two angles <B> 19 </B> forming slides, a drawer <B> 53 </B> is slidably mounted, engaging under the spacer <B> 39 </B> and the bed base 42-44-50 . This drawer is more particularly designed to receive covers, bedding accessories, pillows and others.
A removable headboard 54 (fig. 4) is designed to be disposed along the bars <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 at </B> either end of the bed. This headboard 54 consists of a flat plate of the same length substantially as the sum of the lengths of the bars <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11. </B> The height of the plate is chosen greater <B> to </B> the thickness of the <B> 55 </B> mattress so that the plate then forms a stopper for the pillows (not shown).
The plate 54 comprises along the central part of its lower edge a notch <B> 56 </B> arranged to come to surround the axes <B> 31, </B> 12 and <B> 25. </B>
An axis <B> 57 </B> is moreover fixed substantially to the center of the plate 54 and is intended <B> to </B> receive the notch <B> 37 </B> of the rod <B > 36. </B>
In the bed position, insert the plate 54 between the mattress <B> 55 </B> and the angles <B> 10 </B> and <B> 11 </B> and hook the link <B> 36 </B> on the axis <B> 57, </B> said link extending from the <B> - </B> side of the plate 54 opposite the mattress, so that the plate is securely held in the both directions. The axis <B> 57 </B> is arranged so that such an operation is carried out indifferently <B> at </B> either end of the bed.
When you want to switch <B> to </B> the capped position, all you have to do is unhook the link <B> 36 </B> and remove the plate 54. This can for example be stored in the drawer <B> 53. </B>
In the sofa position, the stop <B> 38 </B> is such that the bars <B> 10 </B> are slightly inclined downwards and backwards so that the front part of the base forming the seat is descending towards the rear, which ensures excellent comfort. It is the tensioned slats <B> 50 </B> and the slats 42 which constitute the elastic support of the seat proper, while the mes 44 and 42 constitute the elastic support of the backrest.
Preferably, removable armrests <B> 60 </B> (fig. <B> 1) </B> are provided so <B> to </B> to be installed in the sofa position and removed and stored in the drawer <B> 53, </B> in the bed position. Each armchair <B> 60 </B> has a fork-shaped end <B> 61 </B> which engages around a pin <B> 62 </B> of the lever <B> 27. < / B> A pin <B> 63 </B> is furthermore attached to the armrest and is intended <B> to </B> engage in a buttonhole 64 of the bar <B> 11. </ B >
To place the sofa bed in the bed position, unhook the links <B> 36 </B> from it and push the spacer 40 backwards. This movement has the effect of tilting the levers <B> 27 </B> forward, and, when the bars <B> 11 </B> occupy a horizontal position in the extension of the bars <B> 10, </B> the casters <B> 35 </B> of the crutches rest on the ground as well as the casters <B> 29 </B> and 20 which ensure a complete seat for the bed.
In this position, the slats <B> 50 </B> are <B> relaxed and retracted downwards, the bed base being formed by the slats 42 and 44 and by the springs 46 and 47. For place the sofa bed in the sofa position, just lift the spacer 40.
