Description

Anti-dust device for an actuator passing through the wall of a watch case There are already devices to prevent the introduction of dust or other small foreign bodies into the watch case, for example through the hole in the watch case. winding stem, particularly when it is pulled outwards to set the time ; at this time, there is an annular empty space between this stem and the hole made in the case for its passage.

These devices generally include a ring and a spring housed in a recess in the crown of the winding stem, the spring tending to push the ring against the case, these two parts, ring and spring, being held in the crown, by a washer or a crimp at the bottom of the recess thereof; these devices have the drawback of being integral with the crown.

The present invention, which can be applied not only to a winder, but also to pushers, for example of chronographs or calendars or to other organs passing through a stem through a wall of a watch case, aims to remedy this drawback.

It comprises a ring surrounding the rod of the gold P a not to maneuver and a spring tends to to apply against the case; it is characterized by the fact that the lower end of the spring is fixed to the ring so that these two parts form a whole.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention applied to a winding crown.

The only figure in the drawing is a partial section through the axis of the winding stem.

1 is a ring having, at the bottom of its recess 2, a circular groove 3; in this engages the first turn 4 of the conical coil spring 5. The last turn 6 of this spring passes freely over the barrel 7 of the crown 8 and presses against the bottom 9 of the recess 10. The winding stem 11 , which is screwed into the crown 8, passes through the hole 12 made in the watch case 13.

Of course, the fixing of the spring to the ring could be done in another way, for example, by welding, by crimping, by means of a screw, etc ...
