Description

Calendar timepiece. The object of the present invention is to polish a date timepiece, in which the dates are indicated by two juxtaposed discs, one bearing the digits of the dennes, the other those of the units.

This timepiece is characterized by the fact that the control mechanism of these discs comprises three superposed wheels, integral with each other, one having thirty-one teeth, with which cooperates, once every twenty-four hours. , a control finger, the second, which cooperates with -Lin pinion integral with the disk of the units, having thirty teeth and a free space occupying the place of a thirty-first tooth, so that one of the digits of the units, in the number 1,

remains stationary for two times twenty-four hours, the third wheel, finally, which cooperates with a. pinion integral with the tens disc, having unevenly distributed teeth on its periphery, the distribution of these teeth being such that the digit 0 of the tens remains stationary for nine. times twenty-four hours, the digits 7. and 2 for ten times twenty-four hours and the number 3 for heavens times twenty-four hours.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the object (the invention.

Fig. 1 is a plan view of part of a timepiece in which only the orâanes necessary for understanding the invention have been shown.
EMI0001.0036

    The <SEP> fi- ,. <SEP> 2 <SEP> is <SEP> a <SEP> cut <SEP> following <SEP> the II-II of fig. 1. FIG. 3 is a plan view of a detail, and FIG. 4 is a plan view of another detail.

The watch shown is on dates. These are indicated by two discs 1 and 2 carrying one a series of digits 0 to J indicating the units and the other two series of digits 0 to 3 indicating the tens. The control mechanism of these discs 1 and 2 comprises -a pinion 3 integral with the cannon wheel here-es hours, not shown, and which therefore makes one revolution per twelve hours.

This pinion 3 drives a wheel 4 whose number of teeth is double that of the pinion and which thus makes one revolution every twenty-four hours. This wheel carries a drive pin 5 cooperating with a star wheel 6 of thirty-one donts. This wheel 6 is driven by one tooth on each revolution of the. wheel 4 and thus makes one revolution in thirty-one days.

This wheel 6 is integral with a rosie 7 (FIG. 4) having thirty teeth plus a free space 8 occupying the. pfface of a thirty-first tooth. This wheel 7 cooperates with the solid pinion 9 of area chi disc of the units 1. The pinion 9 has ten teeth, ie one for each digit of the series of units digits.

At each revolution of the wheel 6, that is to say once in thirty-one days, the space 8 comes opposite the pinion 9 which is then not dragged and which remains stationary for twenty-four hours. This additional stop of the pinion 9 occurs when the number 1 of the disc 1 is located under 11n gmichet 10 made in the dial of the watch. In this way, this number 1. is visible for two days in a row, that is to say for the thirty-one of the month and the first of the following month.

A third wheel, designated by 11, is integral with the -wheel 6. This wheel 1.1 (fi-M. 3) has four teeth 12, 1.3, 14 and 15. These teeth have the dimension they would have if the wheel 11 had thirty and one teeth. The teeth 12 and 13 are separated by a free space 16 occupying the place of a tooth, the teeth 13 and 14 by a free space 17 occupying the place of eight teeth, and the teeth 14 and 15 and 15 and 12 by free spaces 18 and 19 each occupying the place of nine teeth.

This wheel 11 cooperates with a pinion 20 integral with the disc 2 and having eight teeth corresponding to the eight digits of the detL1 series of tens digits carried by the disk 2.

Thanks to the arrangement of the key teeth. wheel 11., the drive of the pinion 20, and hence of the disc 2, takes place at different time intervals <B> (the </B>, so that the number 0 remains for nine days under the guiebet 10, the numbers 1 and 2, each - for ten days, and the number 3 for two days.

The adjustment, after the months of thirty days, possibly twenty-eight or twenty-nine days, is carried out by means of the time-setting rod.
