1 <SEP> 8 <SEP> 15 <SEP> 22 <SEP> 29
<tb> 2 <SEP> 9 <SEP> 16 <SEP> 23 <SEP> 30
<tb> 3 <SEP> 10 <SEP> 17 <SEP> 24 <SEP> 31
<tb> 4 <SEP> 11 <SEP> 18 <SEP> 25 <SEP> +
<tb> 5 <SEP> 12 <SEP> 19 <SEP> 26
<tb> 6132027 <SEP> +
I>b, c, d,</I> etc.
<B> Calendar timepiece </B> The present invention relates to a calendar timepiece to be adjusted at the start of each week, exhibiting the indication of the dates distributed over a crown by rotating the dial. This piece is characterized by the fact that it includes a bezel fitted with a flange covering the ring of quan tièmes, this flange bearing the indication of the days of the week and opposite each day a window intended for observation of the corresponding date, the date ring being divided into thirty-five equal sectors, thirty-one of which bear and four of which do not bear the indication of a date,
the date indications being distributed so that the sectors form the following seven groups 1-8-15-22-29; 2-9-16-23-30; 3-10-17-24-31; 4-11-18-25 - I-; 5-12-19-26 - I-; 6-13-20-27 - f-; 7-14-21-28 - I--; the sign -I- corresponding to a sector without a date, the ring of the quan tths and the bezel being arranged so that the user can rotate them relative to each other and adjust the calendar indications each week .
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention constituting a wristwatch. Figs. 1 to 3 relate to the first embodiment.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the wristwatch.
Fig. 2 is a plan of the dial with the date ring.
Fig. 3 is a partial diametral section of the watch on an enlarged scale.
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the date ring used in the second embodiment.
Fig. 5 is a partial diametral section of this second embodiment.
In the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the caseband 1 of the wristwatch has, at its upper part, a circular groove 2 in which is engaged an interior rib 3 of a bezel 4 capable of rotating with gentle friction on the caseband and knurled in 5 to facilitate its handling. The bezel 4 has a plane flange 6 covering the peripheral part of the dial 7. This peripheral part constitutes a ring 8 on which are written the dates m of the month, divided into three groups of five digits followed by four groups of four digits, each group forms an arithmetic progression of reason seven.
We therefore have the succession of groups below
EMI0002.0001
1 <SEP> 8 <SEP> 15 <SEP> 22 <SEP> 29
<tb> 2 <SEP> 9 <SEP> 16 <SEP> 23 <SEP> 30
<tb> 3 <SEP> 10 <SEP> 17 <SEP> 24 <SEP> 31
<tb> 4 <SEP> 11 <SEP> 18 <SEP> 25 <SEP> +
<tb> 5 <SEP> 12 <SEP> 19 <SEP> 26
<tb> 6132027 <SEP> +
<tb> 7 <SEP> 14 <SEP> 21 <SEP> 28 <SEP> -I- On this table, we see that the groups of four digits are followed by a sign (+) replacing the missing fifth digit. Thanks to this arrangement, the complete graduation of the ring 8 comprises thirty-five evenly distributed divisions.
The flange 6 of the rotating bezel 4 has seven apertures <I> 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d, 9e, </I> 9f, <I> 9g </I> equidistant on a median circle and intended for observation dates for a week.
Opposite window 9a, flange 6 bears the indication of the first day of the week, i.e. Sunday, opposite window 9b, the indication Monday, opposite window 9c, indication Tuesday, etc., the 9g window corresponding to Saturday. At the beginning of the month, the user takes action. on the bezel 4 such that the number 1, for example, appears under the gui chet 9a; the other counters 9b, c, etc. will indicate the corresponding dates on the third day of the week.
At the start of the following week, if the user moves telescope 4 by one division in the direction of the arrow <B> fl, </B> window 9a will show the number 8, window 9b the number 9 , etc. ; the dates of this second week will therefore be correctly indicated. If the month has thirty or thirty-one days, assuming its last week begins on Sunday 29th, the counters <I> 9d, 9e, </I> 9f, 9g on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday will show a cross.
The bezel 4 carries the crystal 10 of the wristwatch. In the second embodiment, the middle part 11 of the wristwatch has a notch 12 in which is engaged a fixed bezel 13 provided with a plane flange 14 having, as previously, seven regularly distributed apertures 9a, <I> b, c, d, </I> etc. This bezel 13 carries the crystal 15 of the wristwatch. We see at 16 the dial of the watch which is turned by a rotating ring 17 bearing the quan tths m arranged exactly in the same way as in the first embodiment.
At the start of each week, the user, by rotating the ring 17 by means not shown, places the window 9a opposite the corresponding date.
