Self-winding watch, comprising a winding force multiplier device. - The present invention relates to a watch, automatic winding, comprising a device for multiplying the winding force.
This watch is characterized in that this device comprises a control toothed wheel pivoted on the frame of the movement and driving an eccentric, a second toothed wheel mounted loose on this eccentric and integral with a finger, this second wheel eng ning with the internal teeth of a third wheel integral with the barrel shaft, the names of the teeth of the aforesaid second and third wheels differing at least by one unit, said finger resting against at least one fixed stop for the movement of.
the watch, all with such dewlap that, when the control wheel is rotated, the second wheel oscillates around the common axis of said control wheel and of the third wheel, the latter, and consequently the barrel shaft, turning at least one tooth when the drive wheel turns, means being provided to prevent overvoltage of the mainspring.
I.e appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of my object of the invention. The drawing has shown only what is required for understanding (the invention. [.A fig. 1. Is. A section along the line 1-I of fig. 1.
Fig. 2 is a plan view, partially cut away, of this embodiment.
The watch partially shown in the drawing comprises a device for multiplying the winding force. This device comprises a control wheel 1, the outer den ture of which engages, on the one hand, with a pinion 2 of the automatic winding mechanism and, on the other hand, with a pinion 3 belonging to the winding mechanism ma manual of the watch.
Known type disengaging devices are provided to release from engagement that of the pinions 2, 3 which is driven. t1 this effect, the pinions 2 and 3 will for example each pivot on a rocker (not shown) subjected to. the action of a res comes out, such that when the wheel 1 is driven in rotation by one of the pinions 2, 3, the rocker bearing. the other pinion oscillates under the action of the tangential force exerted by the wheel 1 on this pinion, the latter then unclipping on the teeth of the wheel 1.
The control wheel 1 is, in the example shown, integral with an eccentric -1 on which a second toothed wheel is mounted loose. A finger 6 is fixed on the wheel 5 by means of two rivets 7. Two stops 8, planed in the barrel bridge 9, are arranged on either side of the finger 6 and prevent the wheel 5 from rotating on itself, but allow it to oscillate, as will be seen below.
The toothed wheel 5 meshes with the internal teeth of a third wheel .10, the hub 11 of which is fitted to the square 12 of the barrel shaft 13. The control wheel 1 is mounted loose on this hub 11 and is thus pecked. movement on the frame (barrel bridge).
Wheel 5 a. eleven teeth, while wheel 10 has twelve. The eccentric -1 and the diameters of the wheels 5 and 10 are chosen in such a way that when a tooth of the wheel 5 is engaged in a gap of the wheel 10 (see fig. _ On the right), the tips of the approximately opposite teeth of wheel 5 do not touch the teeth of wheel 10 located opposite them (see fig. 2 on the left).
The operation of the device described is as follows: If the watch is wound automatically, the pinion \? drives the control wheel 1 in rotation. The wheel 5, because it is mounted loose on the eccentric 4, oscillates around the common axis of the wheels 1 and 10, so that = each of its teeth comes successively in engagement with the teeth of the wheel 10. As the wheel 10 has one more tooth than the wheel 5, it only turns one tooth when the control wheel 1 makes one revolution. The barrel shaft thus performs a rotation of 7 / 1_ @ of a turn when the wheel 7. makes one revolution. The gear ratio is therefore 1.: 12.
This ratio can be changed at will by changing the number of teeth of the wheels .3 and 10. It is only necessary that the number of teeth of these wheels differ by at least one unit.
Means such as a flange sliding against the inner wall of the barrel prevent overvoltage of the mainspring. In an embodiment not shown, this overvoltage is. avoided by the following means: Instead of being integral with the eccentric .1, the wheel 1 drives by friction a disc integral with the eccentric 4. As soon as the spring is sufficiently charged, the wheel 1 slides on the disk and stop training him.
When the watch is wound by hand, it is pinion 3 which drives control wheel 1, and pinion 2 is then brought out of engagement with this wheel 1.
Wheel 1 is always driven in the same direction.
The multiplier device described has the advantage of eliminating the usual gear trains and therefore makes it possible to save space in the movement. of the watch.
