On voit (fig.
Watch movement including a power reserve indicator. The present invention relates to a clockwork movement comprising a power reserve indicator, in particular for self-winding wristwatches. We know. in fact, the operation of this type of watch is maintained by the movements of an oscillating weight which a train of gears transmits to the bay spring.
But it can happen that the user's movements are not. not enough to charge the spring, which can cause, after a certain lapse of time, a stop of the watch, without it being possible to foresee this stop.
Indeed, the winding of the watch, in the case of automatic winding, depends on the activity of the user and is therefore variable; this explains why such an indicator is more necessary in the automatic watch than in the non-automatic watch, in which stopping operation due to the absence of winding can only result from forgetting by the user.
The movement according to the invention comprises a power reserve indicator, in particular for self-winding wristwatches, movement further comprising a spring barrel comprising a drum and a shaft, one of these members dragging the escapement. and the other used to:
arming the spring, characterized in that it comprises a planet carrier centered on said shaft of the barrel, and driven by a mobile in connection with one of said members that comprises the barrel, this planet carrier carrying a satellite driven by the other of said members, said satellite meshing with a return centering on the barrel shaft, this so that this return performs a number of revolutions proportional to the difference in the number of revolutions made by the shaft of '' on the one hand and the number of revolutions made by the drum of the barrel on the other hand,
and in that said reference controls a power reserve indicator member.
The drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic plan view, and: FIG. 2 is a sectional elevation taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1 and by satellite.
In fig. 2 are shown a plate 1, a dial 2, a barrel bridge 3 and a gear bridge 4. The barrel comprises as usual a drum 5 enclosing the spring and having the teeth intended to drive the escapement, and the barrel shaft let 7 integral with the barrel ratchet 6 by which the spring is wound up. This ratchet 6 in grain with a pinion 8 integral with a shaft 9 itself integral with a pinion 10 identical to the pinion 8.
The pinion 10 meshes with a pinion 11 itself cooperating with the return 12 controlled by the oscillating mass (not shown) of the automatic re-assembly device.
Around the barrel shaft 7 can freely vote a planet carrier 13 of the same radius as the ratchet 6 and carrying a satellite formed by an axis 14 to which are riveted two wheels 16 and 17, this axis being able to pivot freely on the carrier -satellite. The wheel 16 meshes with a wheel 18 integral with the drum 5 of the barrel and of the same radius as the wheel 16, while the wheel 17 meshes with a transmission 19 of double radius of that: of the wheel 17 and able to pivot freely on a barrel secured to the satellite carrier.
The planet carrier 13 meshes with the pinion 11 (see fig. 1), and the gear 19 drives via the demultiplier gear formed by the wheels 20 and 21 joined to an axis 22, and - of the wheel 23 integral with the axle 25; a hand 26 indicating the power reserve, which hand is placed on the front of dial 2.
The wheel 23 presents Lm boss 27 intended to control a mechanism (not shown) making it possible to avoid overvoltage of the barrel spring during automatic winding and acting as a stopper during hand winding. This is possible, owing to the fact that the wheel 23 does not complete a complete revolution, its angular position therefore corresponding to a well-determined power reserve.
The hub 28 carrying the needle 2! 6. And the collar 219 constitute axial bays now: in place the axis 2'5 :.
It can be seen (fig. 1) that the center of the barrel is on a straight line passing through the center 31 of the movement and perpendicular to that passing through the winding stem 30 and said center of the movement.
The operation is as follows During reassembly, whether by hand winding or automatic winding, the pinion 11 is connected, on the one hand, with the ratchet 6 and the barrel shaft 7 via the intermediate of the transmission 8-10, and, on the other hand, actuates the planet carrier 13 in the opposite direction to the ratchet 6, but with the same angular speed, since the wheels 8 and 10 on the one hand, and the members 6 and 13 on the other hand, have the same radius.
Assuming that during this reassembly, the drum 5 of the barrel (and consequently the wheel 18) remains stationary, for each revolution made by the planet carrier 13, the return 19 will perform a half-turn in the same direction since, of on the one hand, the wheel 16 and the wheel 18 have the same spokes and that, on the other hand, the wheel 17 has only the. half of the return radius 19.
Now assuming that the winding is inactive (the ratchet 6 being. Immobile), but that the drum 5 of the barrel is in movement, this obviously in the same direction as the direction of rotation in which the ratchet 6 has turned, the reserve accLUnulated during of the turn executed by ratchet 6 will be. exhausted when the drum 5 has itself made a revolution.
However, the planet carrier being stationary, it can be seen that this turn will cause the satellite to turn by one turn on itself, causing the return 19 which will perform. a rotation of half a turn in the opposite direction than during reassembly and will return to its angular position occupied before the turn made by the ratchet 6.
