Automatic winder for a timepiece The present invention relates to an automatic winder for a timepiece with a device that triggers the re-assembly system before the mainspring is overvoltage and recloses it after unwinding. partial thereof, without however preventing it from rolling in the event of stopping winding, this positive device being actuated by a differential whose satellite pinion meshes with two dragged wheels, one by the barrel shaft and the other by the barrel drum.
This winder is characterized by a first lever subjected to the action of a rocking spring, one end of which, movable, is engaged at a point of this lever and the other of which is fixed at a point of the frame, this tilted spring. lant can occupy two extreme positions in which its movable end is located respectively on one side or the other of a straight line joining the center of rotation of the rocker to the fixed point of the spring, this first rocker controlled by the pinion of the differential, in turn controlling a second lever intended to engage or disengage the mechanism connecting the automatic winding member to the motor spring, all in such a way that, when the latter is fully wound, the mechanism is disengages and that,
when the mainspring relaxes over a predetermined arc, it gradually moves the first lever and cocks its swing spring until the moment when, at the end of this arc, this spring suddenly jumping to an extreme position instantly displaces the first rocker which, by means of the second, engages the aforementioned mechanism again, the same process operating in reverse when the motor spring is fully raised.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of this embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a plan view.
Fig. 3 is a section along III-III of FIG. 2.
Figs. 4 and 5 are detailed schematic views illustrating the operation of the organs shown in FIG. 2.
The timepiece shown, assumed to be mounted on a vehicle, comprises a motor barrel 1, the toothing 2 of which actuates the gear of the watch, a barrel shaft 3 on which is mounted a winding ratchet 4 cooperating with a motor pawl 5, itself controlled via a flexible shaft 6 by the vehicle rev counter. A differential 7 -is mounted under the bridge 8.
The flexible shaft 6 actuates a rod 9 fixed on the frame of the movement and carrying an eccentric 10 cooperating with the pawl-motor 5 so as to impart to it a reciprocating movement. A wire spring 11 is fixed to the frame at 12 and cooperates with the motor pawl 5 and the retaining pawl 13.
The barrel shaft 3 carries a pinion 14 actuating, by means of a reference 15, the wheel 16 of the differential 7. The wheel 17 of the same differential is actuated directly by a pinion 18 integral with the barrel drum. The satellite pinion 19, cooperating with the field den tures 16a and 17a of the wheels 16 and 17, sets in motion the axis 20 which carries a finger 21.
On the bridge 8, a lever 22 pivots on the axis 23. It carries two pegs 24 and 24a located on either side of the finger 21 and intended to cooperate with it. The end of said rocker comprises two stops 25 and 25a actuating a rocker 27, pivoting on the axis 23, by means of a pin 26 fixed on it. This second lever 27 has two stops 28 and 28a and an inclined plane 29 intended to cooperate with a pin 30 fixed to the motor pawl 5 in order to engage or disengage the latter from the ratchet 4.
A rocking spring 31 fixed to the frame at 32 is attached to the rocker 22 at a point 33, so as to be able to occupy two extreme positions, in which its movable end is located respectively on one side or the other of a straight line joining points 32 and 23, the first shown in FIG. 2, and the second in fig. 5, passing through an intermediate position shown in FIG. 4.
Fig. 2 shows the mechanism while the pawl 5 is engaged with the ratchet 4 and winds the mainspring through the intermediary of the barrel shaft 3.
At the same time, the pinion 14, integral with the shaft 3, drives, via the pin 15, the wheel 16 and the satellite 19, the axis 20. The finger 21, integral with the axis 20 , gradually moves the rocker 22 by means of the pin 24. When the rocker 22 is in the intermediate position shown in FIG. 4, the rocking spring 31 abruptly assumes its second extreme position, moving the pawl away from the ratchet by means of the lever 27, as shown in FIG. 5.
The winding being stopped, the barrel, while unwinding, drives the shaft 20 in reverse direction via the pinion 18, the wheel 17 and the satellite 19. When the finger 21, integral with the shaft 20, will have completed a predetermined arc, it will cause the lever 22 by the pin 24a, causing it to perform the reverse process to that described above, thus re-starting the winding.
Of course, the invention is not limited to what is shown in the drawing, in particular the timepiece could be reassembled other than from the rev counter of the vehicle; it could even be a part not intended for a vehicle and being reassembled, for example, by means of an oscillating weight.
